The show was jam packed with great talent. I am a new fan of Old Crow. I went for Susan Tedeschi and she was great. The only issue I had with the show is that they didn't play one single song off any of her albums. Obviously that is what drove a huge number of people to the event. It would of been nice to hear at least a couple. Other then that, we had a great time and the music was great. I do look forward to getting the new CD

$40 would have been a bargain for just one of thee acts, so to pay that for all three was just amazing. Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers started off the night with a bang! They were fun, loud and great. I don't know why they haven't made it big. They have great lyrics, great hooks, and a lot of stage presence. Old Crow Medicine Show was probably the band I was looking forward to least (in a relative way - I wanted to see all three bands), but might have been my favorite act of the night. They were having a ball on stage, and it was infectious. it was just a foot-stomping, hand-clapping good time, and I wish they could have played a little longer. I would definitely pay to see them again. The main act was The Derek Truck and Susan Tedeschi Band - it felt like I was at a combination Allman Brothers/Shemekia Copeland/Bonnie Raitt concert, with the best of all those influences and more. Derek played with and without his slide, and was just hard to watch without my jaw dropping. Susan's voice was right on, smoky and mellow on the slow burners, and powerfull and sweet when she was rocking out. Oh, and she had some amazing solos of her own. There were some amazing jams, the band was tight, and the background vocals (Ryan Shaw and Mike Mattison) were excellent.

Awesome show, vocals were too loud the first 1/3 of show though. Tough venue ( a parking lot) Real, excellent musicians playing their hearts out together - they were tight and their music fresh. A fantastic band! Almost entirely new music, a few covers - a fantastic version of the Beatles "I've Got A Feeling" (picture Susan Tedeschi belting out Paul's vocals-WOW). It's no wonder Clapton asked Derek to tour with him. Having Oteil play bass - was the icing on the cake!! Go to their show - Musicians like these should not be missed!

What can you say ! They are both incredible in their own right, but this is only the second time I've been fortunate enough to see them together and they were amazing. They bring out the absolute best in each other. Can't wait until next time.

I'm a fan of both of them, but I guess I favor more of Derek's guitar over Susan's singing. I also would have liked to hear more from Ryan Shaw. I saw him at the jazz Fest last year and with Derek at Waterstreet a while back and he was great.

Roger Cline was a good warm up, I had never heard of them so I was pleasantly surprised. Then Old Crow melted my face. They had so much pure, raw, energy and talent. Their wild Appalachain sound got the entire crowd moving. It was impossible NOT to move. They played one of the best hour long sets I think I've ever heard in my life. And yes, they played Wagon Wheel! Susan and Derek were comparatively tame. Of course this is entirely my personal opinion but they largely bored me. I saw Susan last summer and she was much more raw and exciting, but this show was too clean for my liking. Bassist had a great solo though! Very talented musicians backing them up.

This show was alright. I think more people wanted to hear Susan sing, but she only sang Derek songs. The couple songs she did that were hers, the crowd got much louder and appeared to be more excited, but most of the songs were his. He seemed to have to have a guitar solo for every song. I have seen them together 2 times now and both times I was not impressed. It seems to me, Derek has to take center stage over Susan when she is a vocal prodigy. If they were to tour again, it would be nice to have him play Susan's songs.

The title explains it all! Susan Tedeschi is beautiful and Derek Trucks plays his guitar with so much power. I saw this band two times in one week and both shows were unreal. I found my self not even dancing or swaying, but just standing in awe with my mouth open staring at Derek Trucks fingers. He is one of the greatest guitar players i have ever heard. Put Derek Trucks with his wife, Susan Tedeschi, who has and AWESOME powerhouse voice, and you will have a PERFECT band. GO CHECK THIS BAND OUT ASAP!

A tremendous show at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis July 2nd. Some really sweet sounds, Susans' voice was beautiful, Dereks guitar ripped it up and the band including the Burbridge brothers, Kofi and Oteil, and Mike Mattison on backround vocals were phenomenal. Tasty arrangements, great musicianship, fabulous show

Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi with their new band performed a very fine set at the Cape Cod Melody Tent on Friday evening, July 2, 2010. Though they played very few songs from their respective catalogs, the music was exceptional as ever. The show was a thrilling mix of new band originals and beautiful covers. I had the distinct pleasure of attending this CCMT show, as well as their set to open for Jeff Beck on June 3, 2010. The only other New England appearance, which I unfortunately missed, was the Nateva Festival in Oxford, ME on July 4, 2010. Two out of three ain't bad! I admit that I miss the previous dTb lineup and their familiar sound. Change is good, but then again, why mess with a good thing?

What an incredible show. The fact that musicians are married does not necessarily translate to that same magic on stage but with these two, they transferred that energy and symbiasm (did I just make up a word) ? They were incredible together. They sounded great and played off each other as well as that amazing bass player. Am hoping they put out a CD of this performance. Just the best!

It was a pleasure to see Derek and Susan play together with their new band. We made the best move by booking a room across from the Melody Tent and heard them warming up. Nice mellow night with good folks. Derek did his usual amazing guitar work, albeit subdued in this setting. Susan blew me away by playing Bonnie Raitt's "Give It Up". A really awesome show.

I've been following Derek Trucks since he was a teen and have seen him perform many times with the DTB, with Eric Clapton, Allman Bros, Carlos Santana, Robert Cray, Susan Tedeschi... This time, we sat in the 2nd row from the rotating stage - close enough to see it all - fore and back stage. Great venue - tent not designed for acoustics(!) but very intimate experience. Susan's grandfather and extended family sat directly behind us - it was neat to share the experience with them and hear the chat about the kids etc. The new band was tight - Mike and Kofi from DTB, drummer from Susan's band, (still need to research the rest - hard to hear intros over the cheering). They played for 2+ solid hours - played a couple of new songs written for this tour, the rest were Susan's, a few I didn't know, and two from DTB. Derek, as usual, was stoic until his leads came forward and then amazed us each and every time. He is truly exceptionally gifted - he can drop into so many different styles/genres of music, but all with his signature guitar voice - just awe inspiring. Susan is a solid, talented musician in her own right - her guitar riffs and leads were strong and emotional, she lived each song for us - powerful voice and body language lending credence to the lyrics. Generous to a fault, even though (as Susan stated), they were on a tight curfew (kids were there), Susan stepped out afterward to sign autographs on CDs and artwork (beautifully designed, original poster-sized prints) and take pix with her fans. Unfortunately, Derek and others didn't come outside - the DTB often stays to mingle and chat, but we weren't so lucky this time. But it was a night to remember - being so close allowed one to see all the intimate details - the unspoken communication between band members, the response to minor glitches, the sweat spreading on their backs, the pure joy expressed by their musical union.

It was so painfully loud that we left after the third or fourth song (which we listened to from outside the tent.) I re-entered the tent to retrieve our jackets and was literally HIT by a wall of sound. It was so loud that you couldn't understand the lyrics, everything was distorted. Having listened to Susan's cd's for years this was our first time catching her live. To say it was disappointing would be a gross understatement. We attend 5 to 10 live music shows a year and have noticed an unpleasant trend toward louder is better (NOT) but this was the absolute worst case ever.

The show was really good. Derek & Susan played for 2 hours. Derek's solos were outstanding. My only issue was that most of his best solos were on the other side of the tent. I was in section B and the stage revolves. I'm not a big fan of revolving stages and venues where there are no big screen TV's such as the Cape Cod Melody Tent. Overall it made for a wonderful night of music.

Where do I start.......I've seen Led Zep, Jim Morrison(most memorable), original Allman Bros. with Duane, original Lynyrd before the crash, ELP, Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, and a whole lot more.............this show just knocked my socks off!!! I was blown away by the magic combination of Susan's powerful(impact of Janis Joplin...but more precise and musical) vocals, great guitar work to compliment Derek, Derek's obvious guitar prowess, dual drummers(in sync.....knew how to plug along then go to fever pitch), 4 soul guys on bass, keys, guitars, vocals............what a MAGIC combo......they took it from slow to just completely "on fire"........the intimacy at this venue was awesome....like being in the practice room with the band...........no fancy antics, bombs, smoke, costumes, etc.......but the impact of pure musical bliss was amazing..........you guys are HOT......Susan and Derek............stay together.......keep this magic alive.......the world will be on notice now!!!!! I was feeling the love in the room ..BE HAPPY SUE & DEREK..............enjoy your band and each other.......waiting for the kids!

Entering to a standing ovation, it was a love fest for the return of Susan and Derek to Hyannis' Melody Tent on a picture perfect Cape Cod evening. Fans of both bands were treated to a bunch of new and new to DTST songs, with the exception of "Blind, Crippled, and Crazy" with Susan singing lead, and "Days is Almost Gone". Derek, superb as always, was as happy and visually expressive as I can recall seeing. Mike and Nigel provided choral-quality harmonies on several songs. Oteil was major, and enjoyed the hell out of himself.

From start to finish, the night was pure perfection. I had never heard of the opening number The Jamie McLean band so I had no expectations. Wow, did they rock! So much so that I bought their cd (which I rarely do at concerts). The moment Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and their band took the stage, I was awestruck. Such a strong, seductive voice out of such a little thing... Susan is fabulous! Derek is a guitar God. All night long I had chills, and it wasn't because of the weather! The entire band... from the vocalists to the bass player were so entertaining. Please bring this band back again... and SOON!

Derek's guitar was phenomenal as usual! I thought band didn't have a personality. I was hoping for blues with some world/jazz infusions. But we got something else and I'm not sure what.Sound system was terrible. Susan's vocals were unclear. Rotating stage caused us to look at back of drummers constantly.

Overall it was okay. I would have liked to hear more blues from Susan Tedeschi. Her voice is great and the one blues number she did was awesome. The band, including Derek, has unbelievable skill and the vocalists were excellent. My biggest problem is with the audience, I was so bothered by people coming and going and talking and texting. If you are there for the concert LISTEN TO THE MUSIC. The man beside me got up 3 times in the span of the 90ish minute concert. I paid good money, as did everyone else, and would have appreciated not being so distracted by the crowd. I really doubt I will go back to the Melody Tent for a long time!

Last night's show was much better than the first couple of times I caught this new ensemble of Trucks/Tedeschi and members of Derek's band. A lot of Susan's family and friends were in the audience which meant for an enthusiastic crowd right of the bat. There was a lot more stage sharing with Derek taking some strong leads. (Was the Susan show the past couple of shows). Drummer Doug Belote (plays with Sonny Landreth, Larry Carlton, et al) just did Crossroads Festival with these guys, and seemed to give them some much-needed umph. Saw Derek's band at this venue last year and swore I would never go back because of the poor sound quality and the sit-down police (ushers) being in full-force. Last night was the same in both regards. This venue does offer everyone in the house a great view, but this is not an fashion show, it's a musical concert. If you attend anything here, be forwarned.

Despite a bit of guitar-tech trouble with poor Susan, the very first number rocked the house down. And then it just got better. Susan and Derek played off each other beautifully, and the girl sings with power! But honestly - can anyone in the world play slide better than Derek? Perfect dual-drummer rhythm and a killer bass player who clearly loves his job. Great backing vocals, too, and a sweet horn section centered on one hot trumpet player. But the jams - man, these guys really know how to build to a crescendo and get a crowd of (mostly) older dudes and ladies to really move. I go to many shows every year, and this is among the best I've heard in a decade. Great stuff - I'd absolutely go again!

The Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band is an incredible collection of talent; and they know how to showcase it. The vocals of Susan and the lead guitar of Derek, backed by an amazing collection of musicians, 11 band members in all (2 drummers, 3 piece brass section, 2 male back up singers, keyboards, and bass); was all you could ask for and more. They can play anything and it sounds original and amazing. At times it sounded like Bonnie Raitt meets Sly Stone meets Miles Davis meets Duane Allman. All this in the intimate environment of Center Stage. I don't think you can play the guitar any better than Derek Trucks dose, clearly one of the best out there today. If you get a chance to see these guys don't miss it, it will be the best show you will see this year.

The new band fronted by Susan Tedeschi, a fabulous bluesy singer and guitarist, and her husband, slide-guitarist extraordinaire Derek Trucks, is nothing short of astonishing. Featuring bass-guitar genius Oteil Burbridge, drummer J.J. Johnson from John Mayer's band, Oteil's brother Kofi on keyboards, a 3-piece horn section, 2 male back-up singers, and a second excellent drummer, this ultra-talented group slipped from one musical genre to another with breath-taking power and effortless fluidity. This show is not to be missed...this music is as good as it gets...PERIOD!

I'd seen Derek Trucks play with Eric Clapton and the Allman Brothers but was anxious to see him and his wife, Susan Tedeschi play with their band. And what a treat it was! Their tight band is obviously having fun and grooving together blending rock, blues, funk and traditional covers along with their own great material. There may be a better slide guitar player in the world than Derek Trucks, but I've never seen one. And he doesn't just howl and wail, he keeps it steady and picks his moments. And the slowed down acoustic songs were a welcome surprise. He's very low key - though he's obviously the leader of the band, he doesn't stand in the spotlight and allow all the member of the band a chance to shine. Susan is a heck of a guitar player in her own right and their keyboard/organ player is incredible but also plays the flute. Their backup singers actually do a lot of the lead singing, trade off and clearly have fun with each other. I highly recommend catching this group any time they are near you - I plan to see them again soon.

Board a plane, hop a train, walk if you have to, but go hear this band. Trucks and Tedeschi are not your traditional Blues band and that may be disappointing to some, but not to me. I loved the blues, southern rock, jazz fusion gumbo, which they have created. Between Derek's guitar playing and Susan's soulful voice, they break the sound barrier. I love the elemants of the Allman Brothers Band with the organ, double drums and horn section combined with Susan on lead vocals. There is no weak link in this band. Rave on, Rave on.

Would have preferred a tighter performance for this venue. Extended drum and bass solos were extremely tedious; but maybe not for those waving their arms in the air and clutching two beers in each hand (you know who your are). Also, why do those who have the best front row seats have to stand up, causing every one else to do the same? I felt a little sorry for the DT's lead singer who had to take a back row seat most of the concert. Wished they had played Any Day Now, a show stopper at Clapton's BluesFest Trombone Shorter is a phenom, great opening act!

Maybe it was the fact that we hadto stand in a parking lot for 5 hours in 90 degree heat in the middle of July, however . . . I thought this arrangement with the Derek Trucks Band didn't make it . . . very disappointed with the music. Susan stills has all the talent and sounded wonderful but the husband and wife thing ain't working, She had a great sound with her own band, really enjoyed her then! We couldn't even make it through half the concert, that a was a first for me & my friends, we're big blues fans and love Susan and love Derek when they do their own thing but together there is a completely different sound and direction. For anyone that has not see original DTB I think they will be floored. I really enjoyed this concert, Susan's voice is always amazing and the addition of horns was great. But, I miss the vibe of the old band and especially Mike being the front person. His voice blows me away. (Thank goodness Scrapomatic sometimes comes to our area.) I kind of got bored in the middle which has NEVER happened to me when seeing Susan Tedeschi Band or DTB. The two drummers cannot touch Yonrico's feel and so missed the Count's percussion and Todd's base. Derek is always amazing to watch. Anyway, I understand why they made this change but I'm not sure I'm sold....which makes me sad. Hope we've not seen the last of original DTB. My favorite show was as Keswick when Susan opened the first half & DTB played 2nd half. That show...the ultimate. Anyway...go see them...you will enjoy...amazing group of muscians no matter how you look at it. Probably one of the best jam bands out there right now.

I was really looking forward to this concert since I got the tickets anticipating that this double play combo would blow the doors off the place. OK, there were no doors, no seats to speak of, no tent...Rochester, can't you come up with something better than that? Anyway, while they delivered some excellent blues and instrumentals and Susan's voice was strong as usual, I was disappointed with the overall song selection. Let me say, I'm not the foremost expert on either artist, I've got about 4 or 5 CD's combined, but there were not that many songs I recognized. I wasn't looking for a greatest hits show but you like to hear some songs you know and there just didn't seem to be that many. The crowd seemed to be looking for that string of songs that was really going to ignite the place and it just didn't seem to happen. Overheard similar comments from those around me. Hey, its their show and they can play what they want but it wasn't what I was expecting. You like to get more than expected and I would have to say I got less. Bummer.

Susan Tedeschi is one of my all-time favorite singers and Derek Trucks makes slide guitar look as easy as breathing. However this particular show had a tough sound situation from the beginning which was visibly irritating the band. The setlist was almost entirely comprised of songs no one in the audience knew and was presumably derived off of a new album we haven't hear yet. A couple of fan favorites in a fan heavy town would've been nice. Regardless, if you have to opportunity to see Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in whatever form they appear they are MUST SEE!

Saw Tedeschi Trucks at the Tower Theatre on Thursday night and it was excellent. I'd never been to the Tower but it was a cool venue with tons of history and great seats from just about everywhere (I wandered around and couldn't find a bad seat). The sound was ok from 17 rows back, directly in front of the right stack, but changed dramatically as I wandered around the venue. Center seating gets the best sound while edge seating under the balcony gets the worst (duh...I think every venue has the same qualities). Anyway, about the band. They brought a lot of energy to the Tower despite what I thought was a lackluster crowd. As the front of the theatre stood up to welcome the band on stage and they began to play, people started yelling "down in front". I really couldn't believe that most everyone planned on sitting for the whole show. It was a bit of an older crowd but cmon folks, give the band something to play for! Tedeschi sounded great. What a voice and she can jam too! Trucks played wonderfully as usual. The brass section was surprisingly good and the dueling drummers worked perfectly together. In the "solo" section, they played as one feeding off each other and hitting accents right on time (almost like they play together every night...ha). I always wish the keys were allowed to shine a bit brighter (even though I'm a guitar guy), but I thought the levels were just right. All in all, it was a great show. Cool venue, good seats, and a great performance. Only problem was the $13 large beers and the outrageous service charge for the tickets (my $45 ticket cost $63...ouch), but I don't go to see shows every night, so I really didn't care. I suppose that's how they get away with it.

I have seen these performers before and was excited to see them again. The venue was trashy, especially as compared to CMAC. We were surrounded by cigar smoking which made me sick. The smell of the port-a-johns was nearly as bad. The music was OK but not up to the standard I expected. Susan's voice is amazing but Derek, who is a living legend, had guitar diarrhea. His riffs went on and on and on for too long. I think he is the best guitarist alive today but I wish he knew when to stop and give his talented wife more time to sing.

Tedeschi & Trucks have the best show touring band to date. I loved the show. Otiel & Kofi are amazing as brothers in this band. The horn section was tight. Mike Mattison is not only great on vocals but has come into his own with song writing. Thanks guys! Oh & did I mention Steve Earle opened up. We enjoyed him as well. Steve you rock!

Absolutely one of the most uninspiring concerts I have ever been to. We left before they finished. Boring with maybe one good song. My husband and I were totally disappointed with them. We are in our fifties and have been to hundreds of concerts - this ranks as one of the worst.

TERRIBLE VENUE!!!!!!!!!! Traffic on the freeway behind!?!? Really!?!? And none of Susan's songs. She looked bored, I even saw her yawn once. Great to see them play together, and I think she has become even better guitar player. Expecting a little more.

This is a bunch of extremely talented musicians and you could feel how much they enjoyed playing together. This was an extremely captivating concert! Great tunes! There was outstanding singing and guitar playing; great sax, trumpet and trombone sounds that made the music so rich; fine keyboards; two drummers with great rhythms......all good.

The show was everything I'd hoped for. I'm an old guy that's been to lots and lots of concerts, From Woodstock to the Fillmore every week, and this will go down as one of the best. I would have like Susan share the singing spotlight more. Mike Mattison is great also, but was underutilized.

I love Derek Trucks, I love Susan Tedeschi and she can hold her own on lead guitar on the same stage as the MASTER Trucks. Got a little tired of her vocals and would have liked to hear more from the Trucks Band regular lead vocalist but he mostly sang backup. On the two numbers he did sing lead...they were honey drippin. Great talent on the stage. Great show...but the next time I see Trucks will be when he is with the Bros Allman.

Old Crow was great! They are a real fun band, very tight and talented. Derek Trucks is a talented guitar player but the show was so dominated with instrumentals that we feel Susan's talents are waisted. Her vocals were too few and what there were just seemed to fight with Derek's guitar. They would do better to have their own bands and play at the same venues.

Awesome high energy performance by the Tedeschi/Trucks Band. The combination of Susan Tedeschi (vocals, guitar) and Derek Trucks (guitar) and their nine member backup musicians brought down the house at The Warfield San Francisco. Playing from a repetoir of songs from the forthcoming "Revelator" and some familar covers the audience was totally engaged calling for four encores, Highlighted by Tedeschi's dynamic bluesy delivery and Trucks searing bottleneck leads made for a formula plus outstanding musianship from the rest of the band of outstanding R&B revival and roots music.

Superb show. Susan Tedeschi has smooth smokey voice and at times had a gospel vibe that was unbelievable. Derek Trucks is one of the finest guitarists ever. Together they are a smoking' romance of music.

Derek and Susan were great. Derek may very well be the best guitar player going right now. But I admit that I am biased when it comes to the Peacemakers. I have been a Roger Clyne fan since he was with the Refreshments back in the mid-90's. The energy they bring to their performances is amazing. Unfortunately being out of Tempe, AZ they don't have a tremendous following in the northeast, but as long as they keep us as a tour stop I'm sure that will change.

Disappointed in the show and the theater. If you are going to see the Tedesch Trucks band to see the derek Trucks band, think twice. They are my favorite band and I wished I stayed away.

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers were INCREDIBLE!! He definitenly outplayed Old Crow and Susan Tedeschi!! It would have been better if he were at least the 2nd opener (instead of the first)...We need to get him back to Rochester soon!!!!!!!!!

Excellent show! Old Crow was such high energy the entire time and the Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band kept the feeling going all night. Oteil Burbrige on the bass was definitely a highlight in addition to Susan belting it and Derek letting the guitar sing.

This was without a doubt one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. Derek and Susan have a great chemistry on stage, and the entire band is ridiculously good. I really enjoyed their original tunes and the passion they brought to the stage. Their placement and quality of cover tunes was incredible. Oteil's Jimi Hendrix tribute was well received in San Francisco to the tune of 3 encore performances! Definitely a must see show for anybody with an ounce of love for blues and funk. Incredible...

I have seen Derek Trucks with Eric Clapton and with his own band. I became a true fan some years ago. While reading an article about him in Rolling Stone magazine I realized he was married to Susan Tedeschi. I had seen her a few times and really liked her live shows. When I saw that they were doing a tour together I had to go. I was not sure what to expect because they are each so talented...and each of their band's are so good...Well, I have to say it was so amazing and unforgettable. For some reason I ended up with very expensive tickets with a view of the stage BLOCKED by the speakers and I really did not care! That is how good the show was. Everyone played really well and the audience really dug them....for good reason. Can't wait to see either one or both again.

Awesome show! I had great expectations coming in and the band didn't disappoint. It all starts and ends with Susan & Derek. They are an amazing combination on stage. His world class guitar and her unbelievable voice. I don't know how they manage to give everyone their time to shine throughout the show. The Burbidges on keyboard and bass. "Nice job on Manic Depression Oteil!" The drummer duo. The backup singers. But the ingredient that made it all complete was the horns. Loved the trumpet, trombone, sax addition. I've seen Derek and Susan together and indivually over the years and this is the show that will really standout among them. Great collaboration!!!

I had been waiting for this show since the last time Trucks and Tedeschi came to town together two summers ago at the High Falls Brewery with Soul Stew Revival. It's a different band now, but no less amazing. The lineup this year was spectacular... The Burbridge brothers (Oteil on bass and Kofi on keys), J.J. Johnson and Tyler Greenwell on drums, Mike Mattison and Ryan Shaw on backing vocals, and of course... Susan Tedeschi on lead vocals and guitar, and Derek Trucks on lead/slide guitar. Althought the show started out with technical problems (band couldn't hear the monitors and front speaker popping and cracking), the energy slowly built up and kicked a$$. A great applause sounded when Mike took a solo in a new version of "Blind Crippled and Crazy". Derek's guitar so nicely complemented Susan's raw voice and teetered on the edge between beauty and raw emotion. And Oteil's bass solo just simply knocked everyone's socks off (almost literally). I was actually sad after the end of the last song. even though I had a headache from the heat and the wine and my feet were killing me, I wanted the show to keep going on. Thank you Derek and Susan for giving me such a great experience and a night to remember.

Derek and Susan have great chemistry on stage, the new original songs and the covers that were done were done so flawlessly! No one does Sly and the Family, that's because they can't, this band not only did it but played/sang it with spactacular success, really nailed it on all counts! The band has more talent than should be allowed on one stage! This group put together a great memory for anyone who was lucky enough to have seen it. I will looking be for more dates to see The Tedeschi Trucks band on this tour and any future tours.

Best show I've seen since Gov't Mule at the Fox in October, 2010. Trucks simply has no equal on electric slide, and his wife Tedeschi's powerful, soulful voice is a perfect compliment. It's a bit sad to see Mike Mattison's incredible talent squandered as a backup singer, but he did come out and take the lead on one of the highlights of the evening. Still glad he's part of the DT experience, as he's a great talent and tremendous performer. This band is smokin hot - 2 great backup singers, a tremendous bass player, 2 fabulous drummers, a terrific horn section and ridiculous keys/B3/synth player - 11 piece bands that blast soulful and authentic R&B are few and far between and this is one of, if not the most talented band touring today. There's no other band I'd rather go see right now. It's worth noting that I went to see them still battling a significant head cold, on a Sunday night, with a massive project looming at work, and I don't regret going for an instant. Tremendous tremendous show.

We had never seen Susan Tedeschi/Derrek Trucks but we had listened to one of Susan's cds. I was a little worried at the beginning at the beginning of the concert as it was definitely more of a jazzy feel than blues. (When it comes to blues, we're Walter Trout's biggest fans.) But we actually loved it. Great vocals, great guitar, great band (especially the guy on the trumpet).

what a great melding of bands and then to add the horn section...brillliant!!! a few hiccups w/ Derek's amp but otherwise flawless... everyone in the band seemed to genuinely be enjoying themselves... great set list pulling from many genre's and a great mix of old stuff (Layla album and Sly era) coupled w/ their latest and yet to be released...can't wait!!!!!! stood near the stage for 4 straight hours to the point of aching knees and feet to well worth that minor pain to see what is probably the best band in the world right now...

wow. Derek and Susan and company put on a great show. Soulful, blues/jazzy, with a driving beat from the two hardworkin' drummers... Warfield is great venue, and TTB filled that place with some good beats. Could have used some more solos from Derek, but he was generously sharing the spotlight with the whole band, there sas Kofi on the keys, his brother Oteil on the bass, Mike got to sing one song and helped out on most of the others (Go Mike!), and the horn section had a few goes at the spotlight too... Susan's voice as usual went straight to the heart, and she was wailing on her guitar at one point, would have loved to hear more of that. I guess they played for close to three hours, leaving the audience happy. Like I mentioned, a few more Derek solos (maybe less of the Sly Stone/soul covers) would have been fine with me! All in all, a great night - catch them if you can

The band was tight and rocked the house all evening. Horns were great, bass player kicked butt, and Ms. Tedeschi's vocals were stellar. Mr. Trucks demonstrated why he's the heir apparent to Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and his 'uncle" Duane Allman.
