Hands down the best concert I've been to. The opening act, Kansas, was fantastic. Foreigner rocked. Styx was amazing, as usual. All in all, a really awesome show.

We have seen many concerts this year & this was the best concert of them all. We had such a good time & great seats. I would go see them again tomorrow!! The VIP tickets to meet Foreigner and get pictures with them was very cool.

Great show! Kansas is showing their age but Styx and Foreigner were great! Those bands have so many great, memorable songs. We just wanted them to keep playing.

This was a mother's day gift for my wife and mom and it totally delivered! All three bands played great and sounded perfect live! The venue was great as well - what used to be Nokia Live has always delivered in the sound department. Go see this tour!

with all the concerts ive seen over the past 15 years, Styx Foreigner and Kansas are some of the best. There is no doubt in my mind they can go toe to toe with and of the new age bands and still sell more tickets

Kansas was a very good opening act, despite the oversinging by the lead. Several classic songs got the crowd going STYX stole the show, in my opinion. The crowd was at its loudest wanting an encore. I had not heard their new singer and he was spot on for their hits. Tommy Shaw still strikes a chord with the crowd, but is not blantant in his approach Foreigner's guitarist and new lead singer had skills, but they seemed disappointed that the new stuff didnt get a strong reaction (probabaly becuase it was average). So many of their songs sound so much alike that they were underwhelming. The new lead singer, although has a powerful voice, spent too much time trying to get the crowd to be louder. It seemed forced

Kansas was far too short, but opening bands are stuck with that and we wished "The Wall" had been part of the set. Styx is now just a Cover Band, especially with this set list of mostly Dennis DeYoung songs (seven out of ten), and Gowan is just a similar voice copy cat without the talent and energy DDY provided. We are glad we waited through the "I'm Tommy Shaw, Look at me", show as Foreigner was outstanding and the new stuff was just as good as the old. Loved the Choral touch with "I want to know what love is", and Mick Jones's guitar never sounded better.

Opening with Kansas was a bit forgettable. It seemed they were more inclined to play against each other rather than with one another. A couple songs were unidentifiable, as were some rhythms. It felt more like a middle aged garage band than the Kansas I remember. Styx rocked the house, and made it a concert, but the sound in the theater leaves a lot to be desired if you're not front and center, and we weren't. There was a lot of reverb in the venue and the bass line overrode pretty much everything. Foreigner has the best set and started out good, but I think there were some technical problems and the sound mix went way off about the 3rd song and they never got it back. It made for a less than spectacular evening.

I have to say it is unfortunate that Kansas was the first act last night, the concert hall had not worked out the buggs on getting the singers sound up to the nose bleed seats, it came across fuzzy but not due to the singer, just the sound system. I had seen Styx 10 years ago at a county faire, and until last night did not realize what a great show they can give. The venue got the sound system straightend out and they brought down the house. Fabulous show. Foreigner was doing great until they annouced that everyone except the guitar player was new. I guess I really thought they would be the original members, like Aerosmith, There new stuff is good, but I was looking for nostalgia, the new lead singer seemed to sing just like the original but acted like Steve Tyler, right down to his clothes. Don't get me wrong I love Steve Tyler, just the original, not a knock off.

Was truly amazed that these guys have still got they vocals that they do in their 50's! The vocal performances by Styx & Foreigner was truly incredible. Both bands played every song pretty much like the studio version except where adding a solo. Very clean & tight performances. Well worth the price of the ticket!!

Styx nailed the concert, they were awesome. What a surprise they did an oncore and the crowd loved it. Foreigner - again awesome, they played so long there was no need for an oncore. Kansas, looked like a garage band who had never toured, they really need to work on their stage presence. The music was good, vocals could use some practice, it was still good to hear them.

Don't miss this show, from beginning to end, all three bands were awesome. Tommy Shaw (Styx) was stunning as usual, and the new front man for Foreigner reaches new heights. All of the bands performed many of their hits and Foreigner graced the crowd with several of their new songs from the upcoming album. The show will leave you breathless and wanting more.....

It seemed logical to me that Foreigner would be the headliner for this show, since they were one of my favorite bands in the late 70s.. but at this concert, Styx stole the show. Kansas opened and performed their great hits. I had forgotten what an amazing song 'Carry on Wayward Son' is. These guys sounded great. Then Styx took the stage and blew me away. Still incredible musicians, they sounded awesome. The Grand Illusion, Suite Madame Blue, Blue Collar Man, Come Sail Away, Too Much Time On My Hands, Lorelei, Renegade. Surprisingly, they did not play Mr. Roboto. Foreigner wrapped up the show with all their big hits Double Vision, Cold as Ice, Hot Blooded, and a very moving performance of "I want to know what love is" accompanied by the Rocky Mountain Children's Choir. Unfortunately, their sound was off and the new lead singer was no Lou Gramm. Overall the concert was very good, and you can never go wrong with a show at the phenomenal Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Styx was AMAZING!!!!! Have seen them many times over the years and am still THRILLED to see them again. The venue was PHENOMINAL, can't wait until the opportunity to see another musical group. Kansas was GREAT to see too. Enjoyed them as the sun began to set! Regarding FOREIGNER - Not so thrilled. The band had potential for a GREAT show, but their sound was HORRIBLE. Did their sound crew forget that a preset mix for 'Outdoor Amphitheatre' does not work everywhere? Really wish their support staff was better prepared to support the artists.

I came to see styx, kansas was so so. I thought they botched carry on wayward son my favorite song. I think I just heard it so much back in the day that you no every measure. I was surprised that Styx came on next thought they were the headliner but figured Foreigner was. Styx really played there hearts out and communicated with the fans. I really like this in a concert. Foreigner came up and they were great to. I came for Styx and when I left im glad Foreigner was there.

What a great time! We were a little shy about the weather, but the worst that happened was a medium drizzle. Took our 15 year old & his two friends - they loved it! Kansas started exactly on time even though the place was not even half filled. They sounded just as they do on their live albums. It was ok. Styx was next and I'm not a big fan, but they stole the show - unbelievable! They were just GREAT! Nice break for beer, food, bathroom and t-shirts sales. Lots of old people my age (50ish) and surprising amount of young people were there - they really knew the music. How do you define "classic"!

First off let me say I had NO IDEA what I was getting when I bought my VIP tickets last March. I'm a huge fan of Styx and Foreigner and was so excited to get such good seats. We parked our car up close in the parking lot, went in wearing our VIP passes and was escorted to a secret lounge under the sound mixer equipment near the stage. We were fed and invited to a meet and greet with Foreigner! They took pictures with us and gave a us a CD that was signed by the entire band! They were so awesome to do this for us. Also, they are posting the photos for us online. The concert was fantastic and I've been to many but out of the hundreds, this was my favorite all time experience. It was the personal touch I appreciated. The band members were all very kind as well as their staff. Thank you.

Great show, and great music. No fancy side stuff or fire works, just good music and good crowds. Rain held off mostly and did not ruin it for the people in the back and on the grass. 3+ hours of old and new music. Will do it again for sure.

Though many key original band members are not in the bands anymore, both Styx and Foreigner (didn't arrive in time for Kansas) sounded strong and the replacements for Dennis DeYoung in Styx and Lou Gramm in Foreigner not just filled in admirably, but gave each band a dose of fresh energy. The rain mostly stopped for the show and the crowd, venue and music rocked.

The opening act Kansas, were in great form. I hadn't seen them since Point of No Return tour. The played 8 songs, all sounded wonderful. I had not see Foreigner previously and was very impressed with their performance. Their "new" lead singer sounded great close enough to the original that it wasn't unpleasant when he sang their signature songs. Styx were phenominal! This is my thrid time seeing them, the first with their Dennis Deyoung replacement. He played the keyboards like he was born to it. I didn't care for his voice when it came to singing Dennis' songs. It wasnt unpleasant, just different enough to really notice.

I'm a huge Styx fan and have seen them before sans lead singer and they were incredible. (I've also seen Dennis DeYoung 2x who was also wonderful). They just didn't match up this time! It may have been more the sound system then them, but although the lead singer had a nice voice, it was NOT Dennis. Either do it Dennis-style, or don't! When I saw them before, Tommy and JY did all the signing and you got to enjoy the classic "ROCK" sound of Styx and didn't really feel you were missing out on the "Grand Illusion" theatrical component you would have with Dennis. In this show, they tried to put it back with the new singer and it was missing something. They still rocked and it was still worth it, but much to my surprise... Foreigner REALLY rocked and should've headlined!! I wasn't so sure I would like Foreigner with out Lou Gramm, but their new lead singer has what it takes. They rocked and had great energy! Their sound altogether was very crisp and pounding--that's the way I like a good rock show! Saxophone & Flute were definite, definite bonuses! (and highlights) Whether you're a hard core fan of either band, or just looking for a good night rockin it up, you'll enjoy this show!! KICK ASS PERFORMANCES: Hot Blooded, Jukebox Hero, Blue Collar Man Kansas sounded pretty incredible too, but they only did like 4 songs. They started early with no intro and so I thought it was 'warm up' music to rally the crowd when I heard it in the bathroom! Walking in as "Dust In the Wind" was winding up was kind of a let down. Violin was incredible, as were lead singers vocals after all these years!

I took son for his 16th birthday, along with his friend and his friends mom. It was a night out with our sons. There aren't many things a mother and son can do or enjoy together, so this was a wonderful fun event for us all to enjoy. The boys were so excited to be at a rock concert, and to see all 3 bands was beyond their comprehension. The music was amazing, and for us moms, it was a walk down memory lane. I didn't realize how many of the songs I still knew the words to, plus the memories those songs brought back. This concert will be something that my son and I will always remember and share together even as he grows ups and moves away. We are now in the process of getting the CDs for each band. Think about it, how often do a parent and child want to listen to the same CD? And now we have 3 bands we can share together. Thank you Foreigner, Kansas and Styx for creating such a fantastic, memorable evening for my son and I and our friends. ROCK ON!

We went to the Foreigner, Stay & Kansas concert last night!! To coin a phrase that's been used so many times, but it applies, "It Rocked!!" Each band came out and performed on their own, starting with Kansas, then Styx and finally Foreigner, all filled with energy, joy, thankfulness, and boy could they reach those familiar notes with their voices!!! Wow!! What we really liked was them doing their chart busting songs, the ones we've all experienced as we go through life. There were people there from all walks of life, all the way from what looked to be 12 year olds all the way up to, I'd guess, 60 year olds! Everyone throughout the place you could see were having a great time watching and hearing their favorite bands! Any one who hasn't seen this combination of bands...you're in for a real rockin' treat!! Woo-Hoo!!!

Great show, many classic songs. Styx probably stole the show last night. Tommy did a great version of Damn Yankees "High Enough". At the end they threw out beach balls, guitar picks and Tommy signed many tour programs. Foreigner was loud. Kelly does a great job on vocals. Great to see these bands still rocking!!

The show opened with Kansas followed by Styx and Foreigner wrapping things up. They were all fantastic. All of the groups absolutely rocked the arena with their greatest hits. Fenders and Gibsons in action galore! Foreigner played a song "In Pieces" from their new album "Can't Slow Down". The Ontario Citizen's Bank Arena is a fantastic place to see a show. It is much more intimate than large venues like the Hollywood Bowl. A concert to remember for sure!

If you were around in the 70's and had ears to hear, then you would appreciate the nostalgia of this show. If you were into the progressive-rock sound of the 70's then you will absolutely LOVE this show, as I did. All 3 bands captured their original sound effectively and in some cases in a very emotional & moving fashion. Kansas kicked off the show with sincerity & feeling. Styx wrapped-up the evening in their stunning trademark fashion, delivering all the hits and antics you came to hear and see. In this progressive-rock fan's humble opinion, it was the band in the middle, Foreigner, who brought the house down and stole the show. It was unexpected for me, and eye-opening too, as I was more into the other two bands back in the day, and not as much a Foreigner fan at the time. Mick Jones executed all the popular guitar-riffs and licks that made the band famous with fervor, and the charismatic front-man & lead-singer, Kelly Hansen's voice and tone were phenominal. Granted the "new" Foreigner has only two of the original or older members, but the add-ons were well-picked, perfectly tuned, and sprinkled an unbridled enthusiasm and energy to their set that made their offering for the evening stand-out . If you liked the music of the era, don't miss this show. Definitely, worth the price of admission.

So many bands today need "electronic help" to enhance the concert experience. Some can't even SING without the computerized help. I'm 42 years old, and its hard to believe that bands from my generation can get on stage and STILL be amazing. There is no electronic HELP here, they CAN sing, and this show just proves it even further. The last band, Styx got on stage and Tommy Shaw said, "you have been listening to FOUR HOURS of classic rock..." but it sure didn't feel that way. Kansas opened the show with "Point of No Return", then played their classics that never die. Foreigner was next, rocking thousands of us who sang along to every song. Then of course, STYX, my personal favorite, and again, a band of MY GENERATION guys that just can't stop rockin. All these bands today simply can't TOUCH the class, the raw talent and staying power that these "OLD" bands possess, so just give it up, guys!! You'll get lost in time, you'll smile, scream and sing along to the best there is.

Really enjoyed the concert. Kansas started the show with a strong set and got the crowd warmed up. Styx - amazing. All the old songs were played exactly as they were back in their days! The stage show was incredible with changing images on the screens that kept you mesmerized. The crowd was standing the entire set - people were dancing in their seats and clapping away. Then came Foreigner - playing new songs that no one knew and were not great. After 15 minutes people sat down and then we all started leaving. I was really disappointed but the best was Styx so it made it worth the ticket price!

When I saw Kansas was added to the ticket, I jumped on it! All three bands were fantastic! The thing I appreciated most was how the staff worked at keeping "wanderers" from standing in the aisles blocking views for others. Kansas: Lead vocals are not what they used to be but still very good, and still my favorite! Styx: Amazing! I wish they had done more tracks from Paradise Theatre but overall a great job, and we won't talk about that Damn Yankee's tune --what?! Foreigner: Clearly these guys have worked very hard at making every song what it has always been, and the hard work shows. They were right on the mark with everything! Even the new material, same old formula, is indeed great!

In a nutshell: It was great! For those (like me) who have never seen them playing live it was a "must go" concert. They may never play a triple bill like this again! So, get your gear ready and DON'T miss this show! They are all playing very well and with so much energy. The public was very receptive (Boston rules!) and participative.

Got to meet Foreigner, Get Pictures taken with them. Was among the best Concerts that I have ever seen. The energy at the Concert was uncomparable! Real musicians....who Loved the Fans......all came back for encores, and played all the songs that the crowd wanted to hear. My son who is 17 .....and plays guitar was about as excited as I've ever seen him! If six stars were available?......This Concert would get it! Who would have figured that we'd be alive long enough to see all of these Bands at the same Concert! The Music was performed better than the Studio version, and the Band's all looked great!

What a great show! Kansas started things off, and although the crowd was slowly arriving played a great set. Foreigner was up next, and a larger crowd had arrived, and their setlist included crowd favorites, as well as some new music. Mick Jones still can play and he had several awesome solos. Styx was the final band of the night and they really got the crowd rocking, singing so many hits! Been a long time since I have seen these bands, but they still play with alot of enthusiasm! Was able to share with my son, who now is a Styx fan.

Amazing concert. Kansas sounded great. Foreigner did an awesome job. Lead singer is full of energy and I was not disappointed at the vocals. Original Mick Jones was phenomenal. A couple of new songs were played too - one called "pieces" or something like that was really good. Styx defiinately stole the show tho...I was totally brought back to the late 70's. They absolutely rocked...Loved the background lights for all 3 bands. This concerts was the best sing along concert I've been to in a long time. All the bands were into it and so was the audience! Foreigner Meet and Greet was a little lame - no handshaking aloud and no signing anything. Just line up and stand in front of the band for a 2 second picture. But having VIP passes gave us accesss to the boathouse with clean bathrooms and a quick beer between bands.

These three groups have always been special to me. They have shaped and influenced my style and taste in music over the years. When I heard they were all performing on the same stage on the same night, I couldn't believe it. I had no choice but to roadtrip, traveling through three states to get here. It was everything I thought it would be and more. Nothing has been lost over the years. The music and performances have the same energy and quality as before, and have truly refined with age. I was not quite prepared for the flood of emotions I experienced, as it was truly amazing. It is not the first time I have seen these groups, so I was delighted it lived up to my expectations. Everyone sitting around me agreed that the biggest surprise was Kansas, performing all of their hits. Styx and Foreigner kept the crowd into it, doing what they do best - rocking the world.

Saw Foreigner in Bristol, Va. with Styx and Kansas and they stole the show !! I went there expecting Foreigner to be the worst of the three, but to my surprise they were better that Styx and Kansas. This new lead singer Kelly Hansen has got some great pipes and he sounded as good as one could expect, seeing that he is replacing one of the all-time leading vocalists in Lou Gramm. The only thing I could suggest to the group, is that they turn down the guitars a little and highlight the vocals of Hansen a bit more. The music was really blaring and it was hard to hear the vocals at all. That could also be due to the fact that I think I'm going deaf these days, but really the volume on the lead singer's mich needs to be turned up some. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion of the concert.

My 13 year old son & I drove a total of 8 hours for this concert and we were not disappointed. Any one of the three bands could have been the headliner and in our opinion are as relevant today as they were 30+ years ago. The musicianship was phenomenal and the energy was contagious. Almost 4 hours of music, covering 3+ decades in a fantastic venue is worth every mile we traveled!!

OMG! I cannot express how great this line up is! I love it! The years have only made these guys better! You could tell they were really having a great time! They audience danced and sang all through the concert. Kansas was awesome! Next Foreigner came out and knocked everyone's socks off! They blew the roof off! Amazing! Then Styx came out. They have always been my favorite band. Tommy Shaw, J.Y., and Chuck Panazzo are the original band members of what everyone knew as Styx. They have added Todd Sucherman on drums, Lawrence Gowan as keyboardist and Lead vocals, and Ricky Phillips on bass guitar. The chemistry between these guys is unstoppable! I hate to admit, but I didn't miss Dennis DeYoung as i thought I would. Todd who replaced John Panazzo after his death is an incredible drummer! I think John would approve of his replacement! They rocked the house! Sounded better than ever and looked better than ever! I highly recommend this show! It is hard to believe that we were rocking with these guys and these songs 30+ years ago. These are timeless bands!

Charter One Pavilion is an awesome arena and one I would like to attend other concerts at. I was most interested in hearing Foreigner and they definitely did NOT disappoint. It was awesome. Kansas needed some Gerital, they sounded and looked tired. Styx's on the other hand R O C K E D. Tommy Shaw is still hot both musically and physically. The band sounds better now then they did 20 years ago, Foreigner still has the rock in them also with new (younger) members infusion they too are better then ever.

Grew up listening to these bands, and even played in a band in Denver that opened for Styx back in 2005. I had never seen Kansas or Foreigner live before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was completely blown away by not just one of my favorite bands, Styx, but ALL THREE of these rock classics. Kansas started the night with great sound and a lot of energy, and the other two bands to follow each took it up a notch from there. My only complaint, not enough time for Kansas! Foreigner may have an all new line-up, but I can't wait until they come back around the Twin Cities again. I will be first in line to catch these guys again. Very tight sound, extremely high energy on stage, and Kelly Hansen's vocals are awesome. Styx never disappoints. They played all their hits, including a great opening medley and Todd Sucherman on drums is a complete maestro ... he shreds those drums and brings an energy to the whole group. Tommy and JY never seem to age, and their guitar work is second to none, and I'm thoroughly pleased with Lawrence Gowan as Dennis DeYoung's replacement. Great, great show ...

While Kansas and Foreigner were great warmup bands, they paled in comparison to the show Styx put on. The vocals were ten times better than the previous two bands and they actually had a semblance of putting on a show. Also, it looked like they dyed their hair so at least Styx didn't look like an army of grey haired old men. Mick Jones of Foreigner looked like he was on his last legs.

Saw the show at the Target Center in Mpls 7/1/10. Venue is very nice, but not the best for sound. Kansas: 2 stars. Musically they are solid, but they have lost their ability to carry a tune. Vocals were awful. One of my all time favorite bands, but they either need to find a new lead singer or hang it up. Foreigner: 5 Stars! These guys rock! New lead vocalsit made the old hits come to life. They had energy and enthusiasm and put on a great show. Songs from the new CD sound pretty good, but not as catchy as the older hits. Seeing these guys was worth the price of the tickey. Styx: 3 1/2 stars. Tight, polished and very good overall. They looked great, and the band stills rocks. What I didn't like about Styx was their antics on stage. 25 years ago when their audience was 16-22 it may have been well received, but this was just stupid silliness. Apparently they don't realize their audience has aged with them. They do an awesome perfomance, but I recommend closing your eyes and just listening.

Kansas, Styx and Foreigner in one night. What a show! Kansas was crisp, clear and played the favorites. Styx played all the hits and was excellent, as always. I wish they played longer. Dennis DeYoung was missed - Lawrence is good, but no one can sing like Dennis. Foreigner played last and a lot of new stuff. They were too loud, so we went to the lawn for the rest of the show. Overall, a great night of music!

Though it was a rather slow beginning with Kansas opening, the show picked up wonderfully as foreigner shook the house with their eternal classics that bring everyone to their feet. Kansas was good. Nice to here their old classics. Foreigner was good but they had some technical difficulties plus I don't think the band has come together as well as I expected. Jones can still play but he can't sing and the sound board operator messed up a few times. We couldn't hear the sax solo on urgent!! That was disappointing. Now Styx on the other hand was terrific. They almost sound better live than on their cd's. They are real personalbe too and drew the crowd into the show. All in all it was a fun time. Resonably priced too.

Kansas kicked things off and got the crowd rolling. They played for 40 minutes and I thought that they were very good. Foreigner was next and they played for about an hour and a half. They played one of their old songs that wasn't a big hit, two new songs off of their new CD and the rest were their top hits. It was a nice mixture and they were unbelievable! They were very good at getting the crowd pumped up and their sound was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed every second. I thought that Styx would have a hard time trying to out perform Foreigner, but they came pretty close. It was like they turned the clock back 25 years. All of their top hits were played and the crowd was rockin'. I went with my wife and a few friends. They said that it was a lot more than they expected. I wish that I could go again. If they come back next year, I WILL BE THERE!!!
