I love their music and the energy they emit with it :)

Liked it. Loved it. Maybe less distraction would have been nice and better musicians.

The started a bit late though, also there was way too many people for the space. Since they are such a popular band, next time should be at a bigger place. Sound was awesome!!

The venue was wonderful. It was a bit hot but I guess it is normal due to the weather outside. The group started a bit late, one hour after, at around 9 p.m. They are amazing. The lead singer seemed quite tired but we know she has been touring all month so it is understandable. I also think her outfit seemed uncomfortable, a heavy feather jacket. Overall, I loved the concert.

Worst sound ever. Hard to hear some instruments. Too high some. It felt like they tried to cover lack of something. The band was ok and the whole event was really fun.

This was one of the most exciting concerts we have been too this year. They had so much energy and the Howard Theater was a spectacular venue. Don't miss them!

It has been the third time that I'm going to their concert and I absolutely love their music. The singer is incredible and they have amazing rhythmic! If you have a chance to see them, you should go, you won't regret it!

Most of the bands that play weren't that great in my opinion. The only reason I purchase the tickets was to see Carla Morrison. I was disappointed she only play 2 songs.

First time at the Fonda Theatre it was a great place with plenty of room and a nice stage. The bar needs to expand their beer selection, the only beer on tap was New Castle and they had Pabst cans, mixed drinks had a decent selection. The bands and DJ were phenomenal. They all did an exceptional job, got the crowd dancing and when the headliner came on (Bomba Estéreo) they really put on an amazing performance. Atmosphere was great, didn't see a merchandise booth...but i did see RBMA press and that was cool.

I love small venues!!! i feel closer to the bands, not to mention the almost free show. Its rare to be able to get such great bands on one stage for the amount paid. I'm going to dare and say that this was the best set that i have seen La Santa Cecila play. it only got better when Carla Morrison joined them on stage. i melted with their songs and look forward to more shows like this. The DJs from New York were awesome and i couldnt stop dancing. please bring more shows like this one!

I enjoyed Batala And Bomba Stereo! It was a great show worth going.

I've loved Bomba Estereo since the best beggining but never had the chance to see them live, experience was amazing, they sound so much better live, it's a concert u no one can't miss.

This concert was unforgettable. Powerful. Her voice is exactly as it is on the records and she keeps it during all the concert. They are tottaly connected to the public.

Bomba Estereo is really gathering a following. The first time I saw them several years ago they were the opening act at a free concert and no one really knew who they were. If you plan on seeing this band do not plan on sitting. Their music really gets into your bones and moves you. The venue was a perfect place for Bomba, intimate yet roomy enough to go crazy and dance. If you have never seen Bomba get tickets to there next show, you will not be disappointed. All they need to do now is put out another album.

My friend and i got there with glassy eyes. We found parking about 2 blocks from the place surrounded by a very friendly and well lit neighborhood. We got in after a quick id check and of course we were in some other dimension because they had warpaint''s "Undertow" playing at the bar!!!!!! We skipped the drinks and went straight to the stage and waited for the show to start. My friend and I are more rockers but today we decided to try something different. One of the biggest differences is the language; mostly spanish was spoken tonight but most of the crowd was bilingual so it wasn't a problem if you only spoke english or any language at all really. With my glassy eyed gaze i kept gazing at this beautiful green eyed sweetheart of a girl; the air oozed with such spanish fire and seduction, it didnt feel like brooklyn at all anymore! We were about 10 ft away from the stage when the lights dimmed and out came M.A.K.U soundsytem which consisted of a fiery bassist/vocalist, flaming guitarist(bachata like licks) and a horn section with a girl saxophonist. Everything zoomed in for me as they started playing and for some reason you cant really believe your ears the sounds that are coming from this group. I was in indigenous sound heaven and a sweet girl asked me to dance with her in spanish of course. So my friend and I grabbed a partner and started dancing with them even though we didn't know how to dance but the girls were having fun and so were we! The only thing though it would've been great to have come with a dance partner if your a little shy like i am. Bomba estereo then came out and whoah they just chucked their charisma and explosives at us!! Prepare to sweat, to sweat, to sweat and dance song after song. man.Estereo gave us a breather with their song "respirar" which means to breathe but after that more dancing! I just could not stop swaying to the beat( i never dance) but Bomba estereo made me move my feet, its just a natural reaction to their gorgeous mixture of music you cant fight it. Bomba estereo made a regular Wednesday night feel like an old spanish town where beautiful people danced in the streets and you felt like you were falling in love with who ever you danced to; it was romantic at its best!!!! Street gutter romance!!! We finshed the night drenched in sweat, ate some pizza at local store and went home thinking about our incredible night but also thinking that we had to go to work in just 5 hours. For $15 it cant get better than that.

AMAZING!!!! BEST CONCERT IV EVER BEEN TO!!!! The band knew how to get the crowd jumping! THE ENERGY ON STAGE AND IN THE CROWD WAS CRAZY. THE CONCERT SURPASSED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS!

First time concert experience with Bomba Estereo! Loved it! I really like the venue too -- been there for other concerts and have always enjoyed myself!

It was really fun !!!! The voice of the lead singer is just incredible.

Bomba stereo is as fun as it gets. The place was also very good although their people were having trouble putting the sound system together. It took them at least an hour after the first band finished.

Despite a smaller crowd than expected, the band played as if to a full amphitheater, and with enough energy to blow the place up.
