This is the best concert I have ever been to and the best band that I have ever seen live. I love Hillsong UNITED's music but it does not compare to seeing them perform it live! It's an amazing worship experience!

The Michael Jackson impersonator was a really sorry act. The background dancers were not professional. After only 5 songs, I don't know if there was a technical problem or other, but he never returned which was not that big of a disappointment. The next act was Elvis. I thought because of the credits attached with performing in Vegas the show would get better, but it did not. After every song he followed it with "lord have mercy" and was facing the band, not the audience. It was almost comical. The best acts of the night was Tony and the gentleman who followed him. I wish we had more performance from them. Little Royal was okay. It was a strange show with very little performance professionalism or stage professionalism. Almost walked out after the Michael set to get a refund. Bought as an early Christmas present for elderly parent and was really disappointed. Just glad we did not pay more for the tickets.

This band is amazing. I see them every time they come to town. The singer's voice is fantastic and they always put on a high energy show. Never a dull moment. I will see them every time they come back!

Chrissie Hynde

I have seen the Pretenders- Chrissie Hynde probably 4-5 times over the past 30-years, I know that she is with a new band now, but I felt that she didn't have the same energy that she usually brings. The overall set was only about 90-mins total, she did do a few of the old stuff, but not enough of the great hits. Her focus seemed on telling the audience/paid guests not to have their cameras on and she didn't want to sign my old Pretenders album that I had with me at the front of the stage. Don't know why she didn't want us to take any pixs? I thought the more exposure the better? I can't understand why she really didn't want to warm up the audience more?

We went to this Dec 1st to kick off the Christmas season. If you're going in hopes of a Christmas show....don't go. Not much to do with Christmas or Christmas songs which is really what we were hoping for. Also, the set decoration was lacking tremendously. The Christmas tree they had on stage, the lights went out during the performance and on during intermission and that was the only holiday decoration on the stage. They could have done something to brighten up the blah dull stage. Yes, they're good dancers and it was entertaining....but not what we hoped for so we left disappointed. We wouldn't go again.

Out for the fifth night in a row, this time to see Cory Branan as the opening act at Mercury Lounge. Mercury Lounge is one of my favorite venues intimate and great sound. And Cory Branan is one of the best storytellers you ll ever hear. He started with one of our favorites, Prettiest Waitress in Memphis, and then pointed out a small group from Oslo who came to the US just to see Cory. They had also traveled to London to see him, handed him a set list, and said, Don t fuck this up. They gave him a set list this time, Cory looked at it, and asked them if everything was okay since all the songs were sad songs. He did some songs from the list but he also did songs that he wanted to do including three new songs, which is always a bonus for the crowd. It was a short set but it included his fast fantastic guitar playing. Country-rock band The Band of Heathens was the main act. They are Ed Jurdi (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Gordy Quist (vocals, guitars, harmonica), Trevor Nealon (keyboards), Richard Milsap (drums), and Scott Davis (electric bass, vocals). They have a very dedicated crowd, who sang along to every song. Minutes after the set was over, the night s recording was available digitally at the merch table. Kid Rock has recorded their song Shotgun and they have since become friends with him. The music was pleasant and harmonies pretty. It was made prettier when The Trishas joined them onstage for two songs.
