Bobby Vinton

BOBBY VINTON IN CONCERT:Legendary pop crooner Bobby Vinton skyrocketed to success in the early ‘60s with a string of wistful hits that established him as “The Polish Prince,” a nod to his Polish-American heritage. More than half a century later Vinton’s voice has the same romantic power that helped carry him to the top, especially on hits like “Mr. Lonely” and "There, I've Said It Again." Taking the stage with a nine-piece orchestra conducted by his son and dueting with his talented daughters, Vinton will treat fans to “Blue Velvet” and all the rest of his greatest hits on a highly anticipated string of 2014 tour dates.

BOBBY WAS UNBELIEVABLE! HE INTERACTED WITH HIS FANS AND I HAD THE GREAT PRIVILEGE OF GETTING TO HUG HIM WHICH HE RECIPROCATED WITH HUG AND KISSES. LADIES AROUND ME WERE J-E-A-L-O-U-S. CAN'T WAIT FOR HIS RETURN TO BILOXI..HANNAH, HIS DAUGHTER, HAD A BEAUTIFUL VOICE. HIS SON, ROBBIE, WAS VERY TALENTED ON THE BASS GUITAR.

I was expecting a very mellow older guy singing his old hits. Was I ever wrong. Bobby Vinton has so much energy I can't believe he is 74. His voice is excellent and the selection of songs was amazing. I was also impressed with his talent on the saxophone, clarinet, and the trumpet.

we took my father to see bobby vinton for his brithday and he still can't stop telling people how he enjoyed it! suprisingly, our seats were in my opinion, the best ones in the house. bobby was so charismatic and every song was as smooth as ever. if you want to be entertained thouroughly go see his show. with the song stylings of his daughter and son as a special treat the night was complete.

I took my mother to the show and some of his songs brought tears to her eyes. My mother showed feelings that she hasn't in a long time. She truly enjoyed the show, her hand was tapping along to all the music and she was smiling. Thank you Boddy Vinton.

I bought the tickets for my mother remembering that she loved listenting to Bobby Vinton growing up. Her friend couldn't make it at last minute, so I went. I am 42 years old and LOVED it. He is so personable and still has a great voice. I would go see him again!

The performance was outstanding and well worth the ticket price. Bobby Vinton and his daughter performed the theme from Phatom of the Opera and it was just beautiful. His daughters voice is exquiset. Vinton's all time favorites were as beautiful as the day he first performed them. We saw him in Branson at his theatre several years ago and he hasn't lost one bit of his appeal or voice. I would recommend him to anyone.

Bobby Vinton always puts on a great show -- not just a medley of his hits, but he covers the bases of what a great show is all about -- great energy, versatility, humor, heart, great musicality. Bobby Vinton "live" is more than the sum of his parts. As I told him backstage, "Wow!"

Once again, I was very thoroughly entertained by Bobby Vinton. Bobby Vinton is the best entertainer to ever grace a stage, so good that I have seen him perform 5 times in the last 3 years! He not only sings, but entertains everyone by playing many differant instruments, as well as telling little stories of his life in the business. The stamina of the man at his age is amazing as well as the fact he can still reach those high notes! I will most certainly go see him again when he comes back to the Tri-State area. I know I will not be disappointed!

Bobby Vinton was very good and I would recommend people seeing him. BUT, what I wouldn't recommend is Penn's Peak. This was the first time I was there and had no idea how the seating arrangements were, therefore picking ones that looked to be good on the chart. What we got for $56.00 (seating plus fees etc. ) was AWFUL!!!!!!! We were upstairs on the back row against the wall sitting on bar stools!!!!!! They were so uncomfortable!!!!!! Plus the big screens they had weren't zoomed in close enough and only one was used. I was so disappointed and mad at the nerve of Penn's Peak charging that kind of money to sit on a bar stool!!!!!!! I never did see Bobby Vinton up close on the screen. He was good but Penn's Peak stinks.

Bobby Vinton's show was fantastic. The 50's music afforded us the pleasure of words we could understand & something we could dance to or just sit, listen & tap our toes to. Bobby Vinton's songs will never go out of style. His band & family who accompanied him were enjoyable as well. I would go see him in concert again in a heartbeat.

This was our second time seeing Bobby Vinton at Penn's Peak. His performance and the overall quality of the venue made it a truly enjoyable evening. He is still as good as ever and his songs bring back many great memories of a time less troubling than what we live in now. It was a joy to be taken away to the songs of "old".

Bobby Vinton is ageless. His voice and stage presence are as great as always. Have watched his performances over the last 10 years and have never been disappointed He sings all his hits and makes it a terrific evening as long as he is on stage. However his son and daughter are part of the performance and add little value to the show. His daughter is not a skilled performed nor does she have a good singing voice. His son is just acceptable. This venue is extremely poor. All the seats are on the same level and are of the folding chair variety. Makes for a very uncomfortable evening jammed together with a poor view of the stage.

I saw Bobby at Dury Lane in Oakbrook for all 3 of his shows. At the first show I was so excited, I was shaking and tears came to my eyes. I have been going to see Bobby Vinton since the state fair days. I saw him when I went to college in Carbondale, Illinois and I have seen him all over Illinois. I'm sorry I never got to see him in Branson. He puts on a show that would outdo any of the young ones or the old ones. He still has it. I've never been on the front row, but I have gotten back stage. His songs are great. I've only given him a rose once, because I don't want to take advantage. This last time I saw him I was as old as everyone else. lol. That's ok. I wish he would have come into the crowd, but there were no stairs to get off the stage. I went back stage to see him and his daughter Hanna told me I coldn't, but Bobby recognized me and told her to let me back. There was absolutely no one waiting to see him. As a 62 year sold woman I felt very special and would go see him anytime he gets close to my area.

Given that Bobby Vinton is getting up in years, this was an amazing show. He performed for an hour and 45 minutes, with only short breaks for his daughter to sing. Near the end of the show, he still had enough in the tank to do a high energy, rousing rendition of Orbison's crying. Unfortunately, the stage set up at Rocksino did not allow him to come down into the audience for his trademark interaction.

Bobby Vinton has a new fan. I made plans to take my parents to Atlantic City for mom's 81st birthday and I knew they would enjoy Bobby Vinton. Great luck that he was playing on mom's actual birthday August 9th. My parents had a fantastic time, but what is most surprising, is that I truly enjoyed myself. I'm 48 years old and grew up knowing many of Bobby Vinton's songs. So, I wasn't surprised when I could sing along. But it's not just the songs that made this evening so enjoyable, it was Bobby Vinton's whole performance. The songs you expected were a blast and he intermingled the expected with the unexpected (I won't ruin any surprises). I didn't know how talented he was on multiple instruments, and was impressed by how he could "blow!" Add some classics jokes, walking through the audience, and you got the whole package (and he did it all even though he had picked up a bug in Canada). The show had a nice pace and wasn't too long or too short....very well done. I completely recommend this event to old and young alike....it was truly an enjoyable night.

Of all shows & entertainment I've seen in my 70plus years, I have NEVER BEEN MORE ENTERTAINED THAN BOBBY VINTON"S SHOW!!!!! Knowing what I now know & feel about this 78 year old entertainer.............I underpaid for the 4 tickets! I've seen shows @ the old & new Latin casino, Las Vegas, New York, Philly, and other casinos in Atlantic City. Seen great Broadway shows, with top notch talent & tickets that cost ten times more!!! Never been as good, let alone as entertaining as Bobby Vinton. If your reading this & thinking of going to his show,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,forget how much it cost, YOU WILL ENJOY HIS SHOW all you need is a pulse. I don't write surveys or reviews, I'm not related or Polish. Fact is I questioned myself for paying for and taking my friends to see a 78 year old guy, I was upset when I heard this old guy start to sing for the first couple minutes, Then WOW< WOW< AND MORE WOW!!! We were newlyweds in the 60s, when Bobby Vinton released his first recording. The rest is history, He rose to the top of the charts and stayed there. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't expecting the show to be that good. After all, the man is 79 years old! I figured he would hobble out with his walker, sing off key, and then forget the words for most of the songs. HOWEVER ... He was absolutely unbelievable! The show was wonderfully entertaining, fun, interactive and boy, can Bobby still sing!!! His energy level was amazing and not just for a 79 year old man. He has more energy than me and I'm 20 years younger. His songs brought back some great memories and my only bad remark about his show was that I wish it would have been longer. I could have sat there for a few more hours listening to this talented icon. My other regret is that I didn't have the nerve to get up and get a hug or an autograph, like some other women did. Other than that, I would love to see his show again!!

There is no other entertainer that runs around out in the audience. his voice is still great. he tells jokes & when he tells them, he puts succh expression into them, it makes you laugh. His son that performs with him is also talented & so good looking. The son sings with him & is in charge of the music & does a great job. Bobby is very qquick so if something comes up, he always has an answer. Would like to see Bobby more often in Indiana, Michigan & Illinois.

I saw him 2 years ago at the Blue Chip. He did a wonderful job then, and he did another fantastic job this year. I try to see him when he comes to the area. I've listened to his music since 1960 when I first met my husband and they played Blue Velvet at the end of the dance. His voice is the same as it was then. We had second row seats right in front of the stage. I loved how he came down and mingled with the crowd. The ladies couldn't get enough of him, neither could I. When his daughter and him sang The Phanthom of the Opera, it just took my breath away. They were great together. The same with his son, Robbie. I wish he would come back more often. I can't get enough of seeing him in person. My husband and friends think I'm nuts, but I just can't help it. I just love seeing him that much.

He covered his classic hits, medley of covers from bygone artists and wowed a Pennsylvania audience with polkas. His voice is as strong as ever and he showcased his musical talents by playing saxophone, clarinet and trumpet exceptionally well. He shared stories of his musical beginnings as well as humorous jokes in between his songs. He is a true gentleman and entertainer----no wonder he is dubbed the "Polish Prince".

Bobby was an incredible performer, and it was a great show. I'd always wanted to see him in concert, and I finally got my chance! I drove several hundred miles to get there and it was worth it.

We loved that Bobby went into the audience, shook hands with the gentlemen, and allowed the ladies to kiss & hug him and take pictures of him with these ladies!

Wow, what a disappointment. Instead of listening to one of the best crooners of love songs that most of us 50 and over remember fondly, we were treated to a uncomfortable, cheezy Vegas road show. The only highlights were when he actually stopped with the road show and sang an original number in full. Otherwise, bad jokes, other people's music, shortened versions of his best numbers, and a poor sound system. And this was on VALENTINE'S Day!

Great performance, on the artist level amazing and full of energy. On the minus side, the sound technology in Peabody was sub-par. Everything was by far too loud (including romantic songs), all the way to distorted sound level.

One of the best concerts I've ever attended! Bobby's voice is just as good as ever and the playlist included all his big hits. Hc came down into the audience and interacted allowing photographs, kisses, hugs, whatever anyone wanted, and did not rush back to the stage like he was scared of the public as so many do. Made you feel as if you were part of the concert too. Also, I don't usually like concerts where the "star" drags their offspring out to perform too ( Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson). I figure I paid to see them and not their semi-talented kids! I have to say that this was an exception. Bobby's daughter, Hannah, was an exceptional telent in her own right. An incredible voice and quite a personality! I would purchase her recordings no matter who she was related to. I would highly recommend this concert.

Excellent performance Great to be able to sing along with all the songs. Music with a melody, a classy orchestra, and I was amazed at his instrumental abilities. That was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful that his family was a part of the show.

This was a great show. My girl friend and I were some of the youngest ones there, We loved the being among everyone there. I am 54 and I grew up loving these songs and Bobby is still as amazing today as he was back then. He and his family put on a very good show.

I grew up listening to Bobby Vinton. When my parents were young, they travelled to Canonsberg PA (Bobby's hometown) to attend a dance in a Ballroom there. Bobby and his band played. He had just recorded Roses are Red. My parents came home at 2:00 a.m. and in the morning were telling me they thought they had just heard an up and coming star who was so versatile, he could play five instruments and sing a blue streak. At night, I would listen to Blue on Blue on the transister radio hidden under my pillow. Then Blue Velvet. In the 70's my mom would watch Bobby's Variety Show. I never dreamed that now that my parents are gone, I'd be so grateful for this show. It was not only amazing, the two empty seats in front of me (probably one of the very few empty ones in the house), I know were occupied by my parents so they could watch the show with me. So many nice memories.

Bobby Vinton performed above and beyond what I expected, he exceeded all my expectations. I did not expect to see and hear his three talented children entertain us as well - what a treat! I look forward to another opportunity to attend a Bobby Vinton concert. My wife has not stopped talking about the great time she had - ditto for me. Thank you Bobby!

Expected an older (78) guy singing some of his 50 year old hits, which I loved. Holy moly! Bobby Vinton put on the best show I have been to! And, that includes Styx, the Eagles and many others! He looks the same as he did 50 years ago, is in great shape, has the strongest voice ever, sang all his big ones and covered many others! His son leads the 9 piece orchestra that backs him and his 2 daughtsrs sing. And... he plays the trumpet, sax and clarinet like nobody's business!!! WOW, WOW, WOW!! And, he came out on the floor to greet and meet audience members for 20 minutes while he sang! He must have hugged 100 people!!

What a fantastic show! High energy, fast paced....and he can still sing and hold the notes! Truly a wonderful show. This was my second time seeing him and he was just as good as he was 3 years ago. Highly recommend his show to anyone who enjoys good music. He not only sings but plays 3 instruments which surprised me.

One of the best concerts we have been to. Bobby Vinton sang all of his top hit songs and sounded just like he did 50 years ago. In addition he sang a medley of top songs from the era by Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Lisa Minelli, etc. He also played the sax, trumpet and clarinet and did a great job with each. Who knew he even played an instrument let alone do it so professionally? During the concert he was accompanied by his very talented daughters and son and an excellent back-up band. His children joined him in singing several songs, including a fabulous duet with one daughter singing two top hit songs from Phantom of the Opera. Again I never knew that Bobby Vinton had such a range in his singing voice, and yes he still has a great voice. What also made this such a great concert was that he spent a great deal of time in the audience singing, joking and taking photos with those in attendance. You could see that he was having as much fun as we were. Again an absolutely great concert and can t wait to buy his greatest hits album.

The show was excellent, he sang some of his greatest hits plus other music I did not expect. Phanthom of the Opera with his daughter was exceptional, he still has a marvelous voice with a wide range. Both of his daughters as well as his son are fine performers. He showed his range of talent on musical instuments also. He had a lot of interactions with the audience.

1st time I have seen him---amazing and his children were awesome. I knew he graduated from Duquesne University as did my son and I believe he was a Gamma, as was my son. I have always wanted to see him, almost got to do that at Foxwoods. Just couldn't put it together. I would recommend his show to anyone----what a delightful evening! I took my 89 year young mother and she was impressed and loved it--she said she would go again and again---SOOOOOO Bobby you made her day!!!!!!!!!His voice has remained the same, others I have seen from that era have totally lost it and should not be on stage. I will be kind and not mention names, Thanks for a great evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 PS: Roses are Red song is written in my high school yearbook from my High school sweetheart next to his picture.. Everytime I hear that song I get chills.
