We have seen their show many times (Discovery Ctr, Laughlin, etc.) and you need to invite them back next year for this "get you in the mood" for the Christmas Season program. Beautiful videos correographed to the music and excellent music selections with additional heartfelt narrations!!

My wife and I had the chance to see Jim Curry and band perform John Denver's music with the Dallas Symphony in March. It was excellent, fun, and brought us back to our high school dates at John's concerts . They did a great job and brings you back to great times. Thanks Jim for helping us remember why we have always loved Johns music. Keep it up.

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to see Jim Curry and band with the Dallas Symphony and we were not disappointed. I believe John would be proud and happy that we are still able to enjoy his music live because of people like Jim Curry. It's fun to be part of the audience when people are singing along and enjoying the concert so much. His band is talented and add much to the show. Jim has a wonderful voice that sounds so much like John Denvers. You can tell they all truly loves John's music. If you ever have the opportunity to see them - GO! You won't be disappointed!

John Denver's songs are all so uplifting, and Jim Curry and his band perfectly capture not only his music, but also the spirit of his compositions. Every musician is right on, and it's very clear that they are all enjoying the performance. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra added a grand element to the evening, as all of the scores were the originals created by Lee Holdridge. Mr. Curry's voice resembles John Denver's in pitch and timbre so much that he was asked to be the voice of JD for the TV movie about Denver's life. The anecdotal elements between songs added greatly to the enjoyment of the performance; and getting to "meet and greet" after the show is extra special, as Jim, Anne and the rest of the band make themselves available for chatting, autographs and photographs. All together, a wonderful evening!

What an amazing show! During the concert, I closed my eyes and it took me right back to seeing John Denver in concert. Jim Curry does a super job with John's music, along with his wife and the band. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and was so glad to have even been able to meet and greet afterward. They were all so generous with their time, going out of their way to sign autographs and chat with each guest. Looking forward to their next visit to central Florida!

John Curry looked and sang like John Denver without looking artificial. I think he feels John Denver's songs as John felt them when he composed and sang them. Great performanc!

We have seen the real John Denver many years ago. Jim Curry is as close to the real deal as humanly possible

Well done. Back drop of slides added to the performance. Back up players were excelent, and his wife was very good as well. Would have liked to hear a bit more of John Denvers history. Frankly I had forgotten a lot of it. Music was very good, and the sights and sounds were wonderful

My husband and I attended the concert hoping to hear some of John Denver's hits that we had enjoyed and still enjoy. We were not disappointed. It was a wonderful evening of good music. It was remarkable how much he sounded like John. Also the musicians were excellent. It was too bad more people did not attend. They also added some good humor.

Jim and the band did indeed do a wonderful tribute to John Denver and I believe that John himself would have been proud. They performed a wide selection of John's hit songs, spanning John's full career. During the show, I was able to look around the audience and see the people really getting into the music, in much the same way as they did years ago at John Denver's concerts. After the show, Jim, his wife, Anne, and Diane Ireland came out and graciously met with the audience and they were very personable and down-to-earth with their conversation. All in all, a great show and tribute to the great singer-songwriter John Denver. I would go to their concert every night if I could and I can't wait for them to come back to Daytona Beach!

I was very disappointed! The only reason I didn't give this concert a Zero rating is that its not available to give. I have seen John Denver. Mr. Curry is alas, not John Denver, (not even close) despite his very obvious attempt to look like and sound like the immortal Mr. Denver. Mr. Curry s introductions rather than anecdotal, were maudlin and poorly veiled pandering to sell his own cd s. From what I can gather he makes his living imitating John Denver. The high notes, rather than soaring, were screeched. The guitar playing was in general, not up to an average high school backyard strum. The drummer (who obviously thought he was the star) BOOM CHUKKA, BOOM CHUKKA, BOOM CHUCKA D (apparently the only rift he knew) so loudly it made every song painful to listen to. When he played the bongos, every song took on a decidedly calypso air. His band included his wife (a touching addition) a base player, a flute player, a few members of The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (I thought it was an orchestra concert when I bought the tickets) and a former member of Mr. Denvers band. ( I guess everyone has to eat). Don t waste your money seeing Mr Cury. Spend it on the recorded works of John Denver. You will be glad you didn't waste your time or money on this pale comparison.

Sat in front row - could barely hear vocal of lead singer. Band was to loud, drowned out some vocals. Lead singer trying mostly to sell CD's for him and other band members after a short show. Lead singer longest picture on the screen was his wedding picture. Don't recall one song where just the lead singer and his guitar entertained us - he is very talented, but to bad he did not demonstrate that to us - he always felt he needed a loud band on all songs. Would have like to hear This Old Guitar and/or For You; vs. songs that Denver was thinking of recording. I rate it a 2.

I saw him a couple years ago in Renton with a very small audience, glad to see the ballroom was full, that will hopefully mean he'll be back. Great line up of songs, it went exactly 1 1/2 hours, would have been nice if it were a little longer.

Was amazed how much Jim Curry looks like & sounds like John Denver! And then, to find out his wife's name is Ann...just like John's ex-wife!! What a coincidence! My only complaint is that I wished the show could have gone on forever...but, 1-1/2 hours was well worth the price of the ticket!
