All three bands were outstanding and each encompassed a different genre of music! Really loved Consider the Source and their opening band, Armcannon though. Both bands displayed incredible talent and exuded camaraderie and fun. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Three guys -- each of them a virtuoso in his own right. The guitarist, with his double-neck fretless guitar, is mind-blowing, the bassist is up there with Vic Wooten, and the drummer is tight, very creative, and blends complexity with style in a way you don't often see. Together, they take their sound to a level that other bands can only dream of. The songwriting is great, the sounds are incredibly varied, and the style never gets tired. They definitely show off their skills, individually, but they're not "show-offs". Even during a solo, they support each other's sound with interesting background effects. Their influences span a wide range, including metal, prog-rock, jazz, and (most distinctively) a middle-eastern sound. They do acoustic and electric equally well. And, unlike straight-ahead metal bands, they don't pack a bunch of meatheads into the audience. Chicks dig it. They even get the crowd dancing once a while. Plus, they're super approachable and seem like really nice guys. This band is a must-see.

These guys are simply insane. So many words are needed to simply put a genre label on them because what they do is truly like no other band out there. With music that grabs influence from spacey psychedelic sci-fi sounds, jazz, funk, prog metal, and a serious knowledge of classical Indian and Middle Eastern musics- combined with face melting virtuosity- these guys will always leave you with your jaw on the floor.
