Saw EW&F at The Venetian in Vegas. I danced the night away. Loved how they ended with Let's Groove, Boogie Wonderland and September (my absolute favorite of all time)...and their encore was In the Stone. Wonderful music and great energy...Can't wait to see them again!

It was my first show by this majestic tribe of African consciousness raising Kings. With ancient Egyptian symbols and cosmic images emblazoned in the back ground of their stage set, I was taken to another level spiritually by the well known harmonious synchronized voices and sharpest horn section in music history. After 45 years together Earth Wind and Fire is still the best band I ve ever seen and heard, both on record and live, they still got it y all!! A must see!!

For post-middle age guys, these two bands rocked the house and had the energy of those much younger than they are. Timeless classics from both groups. Great though it was, there were a few moments when the guys just couldn't hit the notes like they used to. Even so, it all sounded great

This was my 1st EWF concert and it was a great 50th bday for me. EWF played everything they could from timeless classics to their most memorable songs, "Devotion". I loved every min. Fans of all ages were up on their feet dancing & singing during the entire performance!! The sound was awesome as it filled the theatre and Philip Bailey didn't miss his falsetto range. The KALIMBA was that special solo worth every min as it was peaceful and beautifully played!!! EWF is a must see concert if you love music with a message. I hope I can see them again in the east coast! Memorable milestone for me.

They still got it. Saw them with Chicago in St.Paul MN last year and thought they were great. This show at Treasure island was even better. Small venue, eight rows back and danced by our seats all night. The only problem was there casino did not have our room ready till 15 minutes before the concert. Missed our VIP food and drinks before show. I had a talk with front desk next day and they made it right.

Wow! We knew we'd have fun and were just hoping it wouldn't be "sad." But Earth Wind and Fire are still smokin!' While Verdine doesn't bounce around with his bass quite like he did before, Philip Bailey's high notes put the Bee Gees to shame! And with a little "youth" in the sizzling band...including Phil's son, it was sooo good...and fun. See EWF if you get a chance.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to catch this show. There were three generations of music lovers there; grandparents, parents and children. My first visit to Covelli was a total surprise! Small efficient place with plenty of parking right outside the door. The acoustics were perfect. Plenty of ushers kept people moving. Skip the floor seats past 10 rows. Convenience fees were absurd, and $20 to park was ridiculous... Ticket was 63, fees and park added over 50% to that price. Earth Eind and Fire NEVER disappoints! Run to get tickets every time they are near you! I enjoy more their shows where there is no co-liner. Prepare to stand and dance and sing. If you aren't sweaty and horse at the end, you just weren't listening correctly! Love love love this group. High energy the whole time from guys in their 60s. Philip Bailey is a true gift from God, hitting all those high notes that we've come to love over the years. They sound better live than the records. The horns are top notch.

If you've never seen this show before you better hope they do it again soon. Both bands of course have many top hits that they always play in their shows. When they play together both bands "up their game"! Special Kudo's to the sound engineer at this show. Soundboard was dialed in. Both bands sounded fantastic. Phillip Bailey showed off his powerful vocal chords and I could even hear some subtlety from Jeff Coffey's vocals. Both bands have lineups that have been playing together for quite a while, and they are tight. This is like 2 shows in one. They played for about 3 hours plus a good intermission sometime in the middle

Yes, aging a bit, as we all are, but both EW&F & Chicago were superb! Chicago fell a little flat when they opened the second half following intermission, but within a short while the pace picked up, and then EW&F rejoined the stage and the Providence DD Center was rocking! The final song, 25 or 6 to 4 capped off an awesome evening.

Both bands started the concert playing a couple of songs together. Then EWF took the stage for their set. Then there was a short 15 min intermission and Chicago took the stage. Both bands then finished out together with a few songs. Both bands were extremely tight and very entertaining to watch. The sound system was terrific and there were a lot of good live camera shots being displayed on the big screen behind the stage. Overall it was a great night of music that went close to 4 hours from start to finish - although it didn't feel that long because the time flew. It was a good crowd as well. Something to be said for buying a ticket the day of the show - apparently, a previously unreleased seat - because I got 4th row CENTER! And this was from Ticketmaster, not a broker! So, with that awesome of a seat, how can the show NOT live up to my expectations? In fact, it exceeded my expectations! Earth, Wind & Fire had me on my feet from the first moment. Outstanding show by two veteran bands. They were very tight. Both in their solo performances and when the bands played together. They created a "wall of sound". The crowd was, understandably, a bit older. But they rocked like it was 1975 all over again. What a terrific show.

Earth Wind And Fire was on FIRE! The Music was tight and Phillip Baily just hitting that falsetto like he was still in his 20's. Verdine White still the best Bassist I have ever heard and the energy he still brings to the stage, all I can say he is amazing and Ralph Johnson still killing the percussion and vocals. I hope Philips Baileys son who did a great job on vocals keeps the band alive for generations to come. And For Chicago..OMGoodess, cant ask for a better band to collaborate with. The guys were amazing...Horn section blew me away...LOL! If you can see these two band together I highly recommend it.

Being able to park in a handicap parking space right in front of the entrance is great for me because of my hip replacement. The food we had was good, but at highly inflated prices. For the price we paid, the seats were great and unobstructed. Both bands were excellent playing all their famous hits. When they played together at the beginning and the end it was absolutely over-the-top. After the show, getting out of the parking lot is always a challenge as it seems everyone is in such a hurry to leave it creates a traffic jam, however once you leave the lot they move everyone along with ease. I highly recommend seeing both these groups if every you have a chance.

Seeing Chicago in concert has always been on my bucket list of concerts to see. Earth Wind Fire made the show even better than I had expected. I loved all of the old songs. I was frustrated with some of the technical difficulties that Chicago had with their microphones. But overall it was a good show.

this wasn't a concert, it was an experience! What a party, two great bands together, I thought I was going to explode! The HOTTEST show on earth! Love these bands together! I want more!

This joint concert with these two bands was epic. The format was outstanding with the two groups starting the concert performing a few songs together, followed by each of the bands performing their playlist, and concluding with the two bands performing together their best songs that we'd waited all night to hear. Very impressive!

The first part of the show opens with both bands. Songs about Beginnings but just a loud jam session with 20+ musician getting there time in the spotlight. Part Two was EW&F. Overall very disappointing. Songs sung that no one had heard of kept it from being a good progression throughout there time onstage alone. The egos of the old guys was also a turnoff. Part 3 was Chicago. Absolutely wonderful and fun and enjoyable. A near chronological walk through their greatest hits. Although we might not have all been stand throughout their performance, everyone was singing along with all of their song. Part Four brings both bands out together again singing the top hits of each band together. Although fun in its own right, I would have preferred hearing those great songs sung only by the group who made it. A little disappointing but still a good end to the show. No standing ovation to bring them back out on stage.

What a great show. Both groups are great performers in their own right, but together they made a powerhouse combination for the opening and finale'. Each group performed solo for about an hour, playing many of their greatest/favorite hits. As a long time jazz rock fan, I have enjoyed their music forever. The concert was a great chance to see them live and show they still can put on a memorable performance. It is obvious they all love what they do.

I wanted to see EWF and took advantage of the show with Chicago. They played their greatest hits and it works fine when the bands play alone and/or together. I can easily recommend for fans of Earth Wind and Fire.

Have to say this was one of the best shows I've seen. A great combo of both bands playing all their songs.

Take 2 super groups from the past and combine then and it was not so good. Earth Wind & Fire by themselves was ok... They came out and played 15 min of music you never heard of... Chicago did the same thing. Then the lead singer of Chicago just didn't carry it like Peter Cetera... He mouthed the words or forgot them and you could see it on the video screen, The finale where both groups sang together were awful. I left at this point for the super groups of old were just that old and tired,

Everyone knows that Chicago still has what it takes, even though they only have three of their original players...Guess what, so does Earth, Wind, and Fire! They opened the show with both bands on stage, and closed it the same way....incredible performances by both bands, I promise you, this is every baby boomers dream!!! Awesome light show, great energy, and music to your ears! And need I mention the amazing brass section? I have been to many of my old time favorites, but I feel this is one of the best, see them, you will not be disappointed! They work it, and it shows! "Saturday, in the park, I think it was the fourth of July..."

Have seen EWF numerous times and they always do a great show. They did 20+ songs in just over 90 minutes. The venue is a very old one in Columbia SC so the sound and acoustics were not good.

If you see one concert this year, assuming you like both of these bands, this is the concert for you! For 3.5 hours they played together, separately and then together again for a resounding rendition of 25 or 6 to 4! Phillip Bailey hasn't missed a beat and both bands had a sold out Mid Florida Amphitheater singing, clapping and having the times of our lives.

Both groups put on a fantastic, 5-star performance! I'm not sure if it was the venue or the groups' sound system, but the music was too loud at times & made it difficult to understand the words. Overall, I had a great time!

Earth wind and fire put on a great concert! No opening act, very little talking, just two hours of non stop high energy polished entertaining performing! There was a 12 piece orchestra on stage and they were amazing musicians, with everyone playing and moving the whole time. The three original members, the two lead singers and the bass player, were fantastic! I couldn't believe how great they sounded. Beautiful voices! And the bass player who embodies the energy and spirit of the group didn't stop moving for a second. The place was packed. Everyone was dancing. It's obvious that earth wind and fire perform because they love it, and we all loved watching them!

Decided to combine a roadtrip to see old college buddies and see this concert with my wife for our anniversary. (Largely because the tix to see them in Atlantic City were through the roof due to brokers!) Opened with a combined set for 30 minutes and the sound was mind-blowing! Then EWF played a one hour set, followed by Chicago doing a 45 minute set, ending with another 45 minute set with their combined bands. What a moment! I'm still smiling!
