Although I missed the first comedian due to leaving my tickets at home SMH Lol. I came in as BruhMan from Martin first took the stage who was surprisingly funny! My first time hearing him doing standup. Rickey was DYING FUNNY! I was literally wiping tears from my eyes!!!!! LOL! It was so worth it!

My girlfriends and I were very excited about going to see Rickey Smiley in concert. We listen to his show every morning and we thought if he is half as funny as he is on the radio well then it was going to be a heck of a show. Well I'm sad to say that although it was a great way for the girls to get out, it did not reach our expectations at all. The jokes were half winded, it said Rickey Smiley and friends but there were no friends. The show started an hour late, and ended very abruptly. For me the highlight of the evening was when Steve Harvey came out and introduced Rickey Smiley. There was a few funny jokes here and there, but not enough to warrant the $65 price tag for the ticket.

Rickey Smiley and Friends was hilarious! This is my second year enjoying this show. This year the photographers were distracting, cameras coming out of the curtains and photographers walking around the venue during the show. I have visited this venue several times and never experienced that before. Didn't stop the laughter though, all of the comedians were fantastic!

My husband and I were very disappointed in the Ricky Smiley & Friends comedy show. We were expecting comedy without the excessive profanity. We bought the tickets based upon the remarks from people that previously attended Ricky Smiley stand up comedy shows. Most of the remarks that were provided indicated that the show was "clean" and that there were no "cursing". The type of music (cursing) that was playing prior to Rickey Smiley coming on stage was an indicator of what to expect. There were also a lot of vacant seats in the auditorium. Hmmm, I wonder why? We did not stay to the end of the show.

I've seen him perform before in a smaller venue and to be honest, he was much better then, than he was at this performance. Maybe he was just having an off night, I don't know, but he was just more silly than he was funny. It seemed as if he and the folks backstage had some kind of inside joke going on that he didn't let the audience in on.

Best show I ve seen in a long time! Rickey and the other comedians were all awesome. Very Funny and Real! Some of the material from the other comedians was a little racy at times but nothing like I ve seen with other comedians. At the end of the show, Rickey touched on the subject of the recent killings and he was very truthful and on point in his thoughts on how everyone needs to treat one another and how hate never winds. He's so down to earth and humble. I'm sure he must be such a blessing to his family and friends.

My friends & I was laughing from the time Rickey open the show until he ended the show. I laugh so hard my stomach was hurting I had to literally get up and walk out for a moment to calm down. The audience was laughing all over each other. The show was truly a blessing. My friend is waiting on a kidney again (Praying that the Lord will work this situation out real soon) and really did not feel good at all and wasn't going to come but she is so Thankful that I got her out the house because she laugh so much it was healing for her soul. She felt like she didn't need anything after laugh at all the comics that night. "truly a Blessing"

I never write reviews...Ever... but I feel compelled to do so this time. I listen to the Rickey Smiley show and yes it is a very funny show but the 3 hour show Rickey put on was the best I have seen since the Kings of Comedy in Charlotte back in 2000. We try to catch and support all of the comedians that come to Charleston but Rickey surpassed all of our expectations. I laughed nonstop the entire time and I had to take a Goody powder for my laughing headache when I got home. He is a true entertainer and a class act. After the show me, Rickey and my wife took pictures. He is a down to earth, straight up dude. Great show by a great entertainer.

But basically he did alot of silliness and correcting the crowd and promoting his "friends" a young lady from Miss; man from Atl and another from Detroit (who in my opinion) was the best. Rickey is a natural and he connects with the audience very well and he has fun and I love his music choices and the way he dances. I liked the way Rickey was like the MC of the show and did his comedy in between the other comedians. He just didn't do a few jokes and called out one the other comedians. He stayed on stage the appropriate amount of time in between the other comedians. And all of them killed it.

The venue was not great. Its like it had just been opened up after years of being closed. The show was funny. The female comedian, the second act was hilarious. Overall 3 stars.

Smiley delivers side splitting laughs that has made him a Master Comedian. Something special that leaves a lasting impression for this show is his real talk about issues that affect our current culture. Smiley is must see for me. Well worth every dollar I spent. They were really funny, jokes were realistic and about everyday situations. Didn't enjoy the others as because of all the profanity. Rickey's jokes were so funny he got tickled himself trying to tell the jokes. Wish Miss Juicy had come with him and that he did Sister Bernice. Next time decrease the number of "comedian friends" and let Rickey perform longer on stage.

I normally do attend Comedy Shows because the comedians do entirely too much cursing. My opinion cursing is not funning but a lot of people think it's funny. I DON"T! This was the BEST Comedy show I have seen. Every comedian was outstanding and performed well. Their expressions, story telling and connection with the audience was great. I will pay to see these comedians again.
