Even though the venue was less than desirable The Dropkick Murphys are worth seeing anywhere.

First time seeing Dropkick Murphy's... brilliant! Great show. Can't wait til they come back again!

Music fantastic, high energy, venue awesome, one to beat this season

Drop Kick was great, they always put on a fantastic show. The arena was way too hot and so was the beer but it doesn't matter because the people were cool and the music was top notch.

Murphys were a good time. Good energy and well played. The second band wasn't bad, Time Again, but I wasn't feeling the first band at all. The venue pretty well sucks though

You think you know what to expect from the Dropkick Murphys. You think you're ready for great songs and a great performance. You think you know, but you have no idea! The anticipation of the crowd waiting for the Murphys to go on was contagious. It would be virtually impossible to be part of that family of fans, and not have your fist punching the air shouting "Lets go Murphys" while you wait for the band to take the stage. You will sing along to all the words, even if you don't know them. You get bumped into by the guys in the mosh pit and may be annoyed at first, but then you get into and start pushing back because the energy just takes you over. Before you know, the time has passed and the concert is over... or is it? The lights dim, and a lone shadow walks across the stage. You know the possibility of an encore is more of a reality at this point. You even have your guess at which song they will open the encore with. But they surprise everyone by playing the opening riff to "Baba O'Reilly" by The Who! Yes, the Dropkick Murphys appreciate the classics and have a great understanding for the music from which their genre began! They closed the encore with "Shipping Up To Boston" and "Kiss Me I'm Shitfaced" and left the crowd wanting so much more! I can not wait until the Dropkick Murphys come back to Pittsburgh. They will never fail to get the crowd jumping!

The Murphy's are a band not to be missed...the show was amazing. one of the best ive ever seen. The venue was bad. No ventilation. EXTREMELY HOT. I did like how they had the no drinking on the floor tho...kinda kept things under control. All in All...FABULOUS NIGHT!!!

The consert was great. The venue itself was hotter than Hell.

It was one of the best shows I have went to in a long time! I would recommend everyone to see them some point in their life time.

The opening bands could have stayed at home, but Dropkick Murphys knocked our socks off!! The arena was not that great of a venue, but it did not matter once Dropkick took the stage!

Show was awesome! Crowd very much into it. Not that great of a facility & was very hot inside but performance more than made up for any negatives about the location.

The show was incredible. DKM played a lot of their old, but not forgotten songs, a bit of the new from Meanest of Times and everything in between. They are just an amazing band who put on a good show no matter where they are, because they truly love what they do.

If you are a fan of the Dropkick Murphys, you need to go see them live. I've been a fan of theirs for 7 or 8 years. Missed their first show in Grand Rapids because it sold out. Got the tickets early this time and I'm glad I did. There was a great atmosphere and energy at this show. Most of their songs are the sing along type. Everyone gets into it. This was one of my favorite shows ever and I've been to many. Hope they stop here again soon.

If you have never seen DKM in concert, you really should. They put on a great concert and there are no dull moments. As long as they tour in the midwest, I will keep on going to their shows !

I stood in many places during the night. There is not a bad view anywhere. The show was great once I got inside. Dropkick never fails and Flogging Molly were terrific! The downside was parking. I arrived at 5:50 for a 7:00 show and all local lots were full. I parked at Sugar House and walked over half mile. I will arrive earlier next time.

The show was awesome!!! Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphy together was one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Was a really good show. Both flogging molly and Dropkick played a good mix of older and newer songs.

First time seeing both bands after being a long time fan. Flogging Molly played almost every popular song in their set. DKM played more songs popular with their hard core fans. Both bands extremely high energy. I would absolutely recommend going. As for Stage AE, it remains a solid venue. This was the most crowded I ever saw it. Only criticism, and it is minor - it was hard to see DKM as the stage was dark, their clothing dark, and basically no overhead stage lights. That was the case even when we tried to get closer. But, overall one of the best shows I've seen in years!

This was, both, my first event at Stage AE and my first Dropkick Murphys concert. Both DKM and FM were amazing performers who really interacted with and entertained the crowd! Venue staff were friendly and as crowded as the venue was, it was still pretty easy to move around. I'll definitely be back!

Fans were great, venue was awesome, the bands even better.

Jake Burns started the music promptly at 7:pm, as advertised. Flogging Molly was into their set by 8 pm and got the crowd fired up in an hour-long set with older and new songs, especially appreciated by their long-time fans. The Dropkick Murphys kept the crowd involved until some rowdies up front interrupted the show. They came back to the stage and finished strongly with crowd favorites. The crowd particularly appreciated the appearance and strong performance of Ken Casey, who was recovering from recent neck surgery. The pleasant weather enhanced the outdoor experience. One big negative was the lack of sufficient sanitary stations to handle the large crowd.

I have been a huge fan of Flogging Molly and the Dropkick Murphys for years to the point that my 11 year old son has by default become familiar with their stuff. I had always wanted them to go on tour together since they complement each other so well and when they announced they were I got tickets as fast as I could. My son having never been to a concert didn t know what to expect and was somewhat reserved when we first got there but five minutes after Flogging Molly got on stage he was all in. We had a great time with great music and memories for a lifetime. My son went from casual listener to die hard fan that night.

This concert was everything I had hoped it would be. Both bands left nothing in the tank and put it all out there. You can tell that especially Dave King and crew truly enjoy playing for their fans.

Never really listened to Irish punk before. One of the best concerts I've ever attended. Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys are awesome. If they come back through, I'll definitely be attending

Best show of my life so far, epic evening with 2 Irish punk bands, Great entertainers that respect their fans and want to give them a memorable night. Music is always loud, fun and brings out the onerny side of the crowd-lots of fun.

These guys always put on great show, and they played all their hits. You will not be disappointed !

This was the second time I have attended this event promoted by Murphys Boxing. Overall, the boxing matches were moved along and handled efficiently and were generally entertaining. The acoustic set was just right for the event, although it was unfortunate that Al Barr had lost his voice and was unable to participate. The show went on! The only negative was the extraordinarily long line to get into the event due to security searches. Needs to be done, but improved, as many were standing outside in the cold for nearly an hour.

First time at venue, great sound, weird seating.... I mean who sits at a Dropkick show? (This crowd I was about to find out) And they're fanatical about keeping people in only the places th ey have tickets for, even for the bands encore. Lighten up

The State Theatre is a great old building from the era when we invested in artistic public works and businesses knew aesthetically interesting features were important to their bottom line. Dropkick Murphys played there on March 14, 2018 and I was there. We had a lot of snow just before but the place was packed. Great crowd of fans. Numerous men in kilts, nice to see. What do I say about DKM? They kicked ass, of course. They played a great mix, newer stuff and early ones. I need to mention their lighting. Amazing. The best lighting I ve seen in forever. Very audience oriented, different, truly brilliant colors. Their lighting people are certainly highly skilled. All in, it was a great concert with Stigma opening for them, a band that s been around just as long as DKM.

The Dropkick Murphys continue to be high energy, non-stop, musical geniuses. Delightful to see them in a venue outside their hometown, but on a direct line west. Loved opening band Bim Ska La. HATED Agnostic Front- bad rip offs of Rancid and the Ramones, believe loud is more important than talent. Wished I had brought earplugs. Glad I did not arrive late because Bim Ska La was great. They really put a damper on the show. Funniest photo all night: lines to the men's room.

Great show! So great to see Roger and the guys from Agnostic Front. Dropkick Murphys put on a great show as usual.

Mohegan Sun is a great venue for all concerts. This concert was charged up as any show Dropkick Murphys have played. The only complaint, it was little to loud to the point of distorted singing. otherwise a real good show...

Concert was really well set up and overall very enjoyable, ticket was worth every penny. However, there was about 3hours of opening acts for the show (First opener went on at 4:30, DKM didn't get on till almost 7:30) and I think it was a bit excessive. For a band who only played for about an hour, and although the openers and the band themselves were all good, I feel like the openers could have been much shorter.

One of the best shows I've ever seen. All their songs had the audience whether new album or older tunes. The place was sold out completely and packed like sardines. Waited years to see them again and it was worth it.

Dropkick Murphy's is one of the best bands to see live, and they keep their shows affordable. They always sell out, so buy your tickets early next time. Janus Live is a great venue to see a live band. The bars lining the streets are perfectly located so that while you're in line waiting to get in, you're actually at a bar the whole time!

Amazing concert, hard punk rock from start to finish. They give the crowd what they came for.

I've always loved the murphys. I even discovered a new song I love of theirs that I downloaded off iTunes

Once again Dropkick Murphy's was amazing and full of energy! I've seen them almost 20 years now and it's always a good show. The opening bands were awesome at setting the tone for the show too. Really liked them. However this was my first time at 20 Monroe Live and the venue was just as awesome! Definitely a close up atmosphere and bars galore so there is never a wait! Staff was friendly -- yea weird - and made the experience great. I'm so looking forward to seeing another show at this venue!

That was fun. But prepare yourself its a rowdy crowd! Don't wear anything you don't want beer on!

They played a great mix of old and new material and the light show was unexpected

For the amount I paid for the tickets I expected nose bleed seats. My wife and I were happily suprised to find our seats were to us in an awsome location mere feet from the stage. The tributes to the military were very nice. The young lady that sang God Bless America has an awsome voice. Loved the show.

We had an amazing time. Gambling, drinking and rocking out to some Dropkick Murphys. Couldn't ask for a better night. Mohegan is a great place to go for a concert.

I go to the Dropkicks every year, but this year, my 7 year old daughter wanted to join me. I had already purchased floor seats, so was a bit apprehensive, but since it was the BU show, I brought her. WHAT A GREAT DECISION!!! They put on another terrific show and she had the time of her life. She especially loved seeing the Irish Step Dancers, as she is about to start taking classes. Also, The Bruisers were great and Slapshot really got the crowd going. I somehow missed Fenian Sons going to the ladies room and concourse, so they must have had a pretty quick set. Overall, we had an amazing time and can't wait for next year!

Band was phenomenal as always! A Fantastic LIVE band. Interacts and gets personal with the crowd. Really got the place jumping. Really enjoyed hearing the new music that is coming.

Had such a great time! Spent our 10 year anniversary with Dropkick Murphys and great friends and wouldn't have had it any other way. Great crowd! Good peeps! (Lost debit card and someone turned it in in about 10 minutes). Venue was sweet. Only bad thing was needed water and A/E wanted to charge $3.50. So had to drink from the bathroom sink. Yuk. But besides the bartenders having a bad attitude all night, the rest of the night was amazing. Drop kick Murphys is one band you gotta see in your lifetime seriously.

Everything security-wise seemed coordinated really well. The bands were incredible. I absolutely adore Tiger Army and Dropkick Murphys so when I heard they were going on tour together my heart stopped. I woukd have liked Tiger Army to play longer than they did, however. The only thing I would really recommend improving on is if you're going to have two different merch tables set up, put up some rope dividers so we know which line to stand in. I also had an issue with two ladies that pushed in front of me at some point,which normally wouldn't have been an issue, people get pushed all the time, but I was standing against the front railing, so they ended up in front of that, where the security and press are supposed to stand. Security saw them and didn't do anything about it.

One of the best shows I've ever attended! I got there early so I got to the stage and was front and center the whole time. The tightness of the band is very evident in how well they perform together and play off of each other. I am a HUGE Clash fan (RIP Joe Strummer) so they're cover of Career Opportunities was the high light of the show until I was able to get up on stage with the band for Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced. If you've never seen a DKM show live, make it a point to do so. SOON!

Dropkick Murphys never disappoint. They're wonderful, hard-working musicians, and entertain with comical speeches and thoughts throughout the performance. They love their fans as much as we love them, and it shows! These guys are just over all amazing. Don't miss this show!

The opening acts were teenage garage bands and both were great! The Mahones were fabulous too! DKM as usual could not have made it any more fun. It was the best celebration of the 'Wearing of the Green" thus far until next year. Boston Irish are the Greatest!!!! I did not see Scruffy the bagpiper though. Where was he?

The 2 opening acts Blood or Whiskey and the Mahones both were really good and set a great tone for the night.Then the lights go off and the foggy dew starts playing..From this moment if you've seen the dropkicks before you know what you're are about to witness and if this was your first show you were in for a treat. They opened with the state of massachusetts and played for 2 hrs.The setlist was incredible playing songs that span their whole career.They even had a dartboard set up with #s that had songs assigned to them and had fans throw a dart and they played whatever song they hit. They played vengeance/iron chin and alcohol.All awesome punk covers that they dont always play.My favorite moment was when they brought out mike mcColgan(singer from first cd) and played 3 songs from do or die.Seeing mike sing with Al and ken was awesome.The fans were engaged the whole show and the whole building had great energy.For a encore they played worker's song and then a medley of skinhead on the mbta/taking care of business/american band/blitzkrieg bop.This all ended like usual with fans jumping on stage and all singing with the band(me included).This was the 23rd time ive seen them over the last 15 years and i can say this band still brings it and has never disapointed me ever...LETS GO MURPHYS!!

DKM in Boston, during Saint Paddy's Day weekend?!? EPIC. These guys always put on a great show and love interacting with the crowd! If you are close enough to the stage you may end up on it with the band!!! It is VERY energetic crowd. Be prepared!

I've seen these boys in Boston, Cleveland and all over southern CA.. The show in Riverside did not disappoint... AWESOME SHOW!!! If you get the chance to see DKM make it happen bc they put on one hell of a show.

Dropkick Murphys bring a party wherever they go. No matter the price their show is always worth the money. I have seen them 3 out of the past four years and will be there again next year.

I am a diehard Dropkick Murphy fan and always love seeing them live. I have seen them 5 times this year alone. Besides being in Boston for DKM St Paddys week this year (absolutely incredible as always), this was one of my favorite shows they have played this year. The venue was very unique and very cool. Being a diehard, I arrived at the venue an hour early to wait in line to make sure I got to the front. I had a 9year old with me and surprisingly the show was not rough for her because the awesome staff that was there. I was even able to get her up on stage, making it a concert she'll never forget. My friends were also on stage having a good time and jamming to my favorite band. If you have never seen or heard of Dropkick, definitely give them a chance. You will become a diehard like me in no time, I promise! :) DKM diehard forever and always.

As we all hoped and expected, the Dropkick Murphys came out with energy and brought the house down again. Ken appeared to be a bit tired at the Saturday afternoon show and Al worked hard to belt it out, but that is a tough weekend schedule. My daughter and I have been going to their SPD shows for 10 years and we're always mixing it up in the pit, so there was plenty of energy to get it going. Ken's daughter and friends always put in a great Irish Step Dancing show on a couple of songs. Ken also noted how much the set list was being mixed up for each show due to the number of fans who attend multiple shows over the weekend.

The show was fantastic! A great show with a great atmosphere.

As always, Dropkick Murphy's rocked from beginning to end! If you've never seen them live, you're missing out!!!

I got pulled up on stage twice to jam out with Dropkicks. Got to meet Ken again :) they played Do or Die to it's entirety plus other songs! It was a great night!

Sound Academy is a great venue!! The sound is clear no matter where you are and the bands they get are phenomenal!!! Easy to find and simple to get in and out of from the highway

The Dropkick Murphys came to town in Philly last night (OK, to Fairmount Park, anyway) with the Swinging Udders and Barroom Heroes opening, and they put on one hell of a show. Great outdoor concert under the stars at the Mann Center's Skyline stage - the boys certainly still have it and don't hesitate to lay it out on stage.

The energy was beyond amazing. They sounded fantastic and the crowd was raging. They know how to put on a show. I would definitely go again!

Dropkick does not disappoint... ever. The only issue with this show was that they went on kind of late because of the Bruins game, but they still did a full set and everything was great. They even did a cover of Baba O'Riley which was fantastic and a lot of fun.

Absolutely amazing show! The Mahones and Old Man Markley opened and were absolutely phenomenal. We had an amazing spot right in front of center stage and Dropkick absolutely killed it! It was my first show here in NY and was by far my favorite show I've ever been to.

The Murphys are a hard working, heart pounding, frenzy moshing, playground of excitement. Wow what a show. From a heart ponding set to a stage filled finale every one got caught up in the excitement.

Too many words to describe the show! Everyone that we saw that night was amazing! The Mahones were unforgettable and we can't wait until they are back in town. Beans on Toast was also an awesome set! There are just too many words to describe the awesomeness of the show! LETS GO MURPHYS!!!!!!

I had never heard of any of the opening acts, but The Mahones were surprisingly good, Old Man Marley blew me away, and Frank Turner was pretty solid. Then there was The Dropkick Murpheys. What can I say other than they were as high energy as their albums lead you to believe. Definitely a good time, and a great first live experience with the band. I highly recommend seeing them. It's definitely worth your time!!!

What a great night! I am still smiling even with sore and bruised legs from dancing. High energy from start to end. Fillmore was the perfect venue. GO SUPPORT BOSTON STRONG! P.S. don't forget your combat boots and fun friends

The show was great as always, but the Garden's restrictions take away the fun. The boys did their best to keep it fun. The acoustics in the balcony left a lot to be desired in hearing the songs better.

My 10 year old son mentioned to me that he liked the dropkick Murphy's I honestly had not heard of them. Well I have now and I'm a big fan this was my sons first concert and it was amazing. We arrived early and got to see the opening acts Jim lockey and the solemn son who were also amazing. My son also really enjoyed the band old man markley. Scruffy came out before the show spoke with my son and took a pic which made his night thank you scruffy. An amazing night and I'm now a big fan of both the dropkick Murphy's and Jim lockey and the solemn sun I love finding new music.

Just amazing live. I already loved them but now have double the respect. Also, can't wait for the new Christmas song to be released the day after Thanksgiving. New favorite for the holidays!

Seen them in the past and will again in the future, this event was SICK. Sweet Sound and totally on fire with the lighting!!! The Murphs are a FUN Band... love the Dropkick Murphys. My ears were ringing for a day and my voice took 2 days to fully recover.

Show began atleast an hour late due to weather. Opening band played for an hour. DKM closed out the night with a short set because of the noise ordinance. First thought was if the fish in the water to the left of me, or the homeless people in the abandoned buildings well to the right of me were going to complain as we were really isolated and noise was not really an issue. If anything, the opening band's set should have been shortened. They weren't all that great anyway. DKM closed with Skinheads, which they haven't done in the past 3 or 4 shows I've been to. Security was unaware of what happens with that song and didn't allow fans on stage at first until Al and Ken explained it to them during the song. Venue is in a great location and should be used for years to come. Food and beer prices were excellent when considering what other concert venues charge. Overall, despite a couple hiccups mainly caused by weather, this was a great show.

This concert was hours after the end of the St. Patrick's day parade in Huntington, so the packed auditorium was definitely in high spirits. A seven o'clock start time is a dead giveaway that there are opening acts. The first one was a sort of Dropkick Murphys in training. It was 9 before the band got going, but when they took the stage all was forgiven. They sang a number of songs from their new album "Going out in style," so I was familiar with those. I was surprised that the title track was sung early in the program. The SRO area was putting on a show of their own with bodies and clothes flying everywhere. In our area there were people who seemed to live their lives for seeing a Murphy's concert. My son, who was not familiar with their music complained afterwards that he could not hear the lyrics. They had a young lady playing violin in some sort of guest capacity - sign her up. She also did a wonderful lead vocal.

DKM as always rocked ... The Mahones kicked Ass & stole the show. Finny & Katie, Dom rocked New Orleans Green. The BEST Irish Punk Band Concert I've ever seen !!!! I got the opportunity to pick up some MAHONE CD's ... Love'em

I went to the show specifically to see the opening act, Frank Turner, and he was out of this world! I think the Dropkick Murphys crowd, ready to party, was great fun, and really enjoyed Frank & the band's music. Excellent venue.

Dropkick was absolutely off the hook. I'm so glad my husband and I got the chance to see them. The only disappointment was that they didn't go on until 10 PM, and we didn't find out until we were getting ready to go in the HOB.

House of blues AC was a good venue, good view from almost everywhere. Mosh pit was a little crazy, not as bad as some others. Dropkick Murphys were awesome, sounded great- decent mix of old & new songs. Amazing to think they've been around for like 16 years. Really good show

The Mahones & Frank Turner opened up and were GREAT! Dropkick did NOT disappoint! The Ritz Ybor was a fantastic venue... very intimate and reasonable.... Had a wonderful Time!

This sound was amazing! DKMs put on an outstanding show! Towards the end, they allowed the ladies to jump on stage followed by the guys. It was hype, loud, and good feeling all around! There was a HUGE mosh pit, body surfing which is always FUN. I will definitely see them again for the rest of my life!! Thanks!

Dropkick is fantastic! Only complaint I have is that they didn't play long enough. Overall, great show. The House of Blues (Orlando), however was a bit of a let down. Tragically overpriced drinks, insanely overpriced "special bar stool" seating which, if you're short folks like me and the misses, is a necessary evil. Also, using your debit/credit card to pay your tab is a huge mistake, the concert was Sunday, today is Tuesday and I'm still waiting for the double charges to clear my bank account. I think they run your card every time you order a round, then again at the end of the night for the total amount.

If you don't like high intensity concerts don't go near the floor! Crowd was very into it. The No moshing signs were completely ignored. Awesome.

Great show last Tuesday night. I normally try to stay away from weekday shows just because it's hard getting up on time for work the day after...but this gig had nothing but positive effects! It was a fairly short show for what I'm used to seeing. not sure if that was the lineup the DKM's were playing or if they were directed to be finished by 10PM...but they ended up their set about 9:45 and then played two or three more songs, all of which were great! So, Dropkick Murphys; if you're in to punk or the Murphs, go see em! As for shows at Houston House of Blues; not sure but they may have a cutoff time during the week. If so, you can probably expect your bands set to be over quicker than you expected! Call to find out first...so you won't have that to take away from your evenings entertainment!!!

Great show. Lone the Dropkick Murphys and they did not disappoint! They worked the crowd and delivered more than my money worth. Can't wait until their next tour. House of Blues Dallas is a great venue for a show. Not a bad seat in the house. It's small enough that you really feel connected with the performers. I have been to many large stadium shows, but none of them compare to this. Will be returning for the Social Distortion show in May. I had never heard of Frank Turner before, but he now has a couple new avid fans!! This guy was amazing. I have already ordered all his cd's. The Mahones were great as well. Rocking the house with their classics.

As usual the Dropkick Murphys put on an amazing show. The opening bands were great as well. This was my second time to see them, and I cant wait to see them a third time!

The whole night was great the mahones were class act to open for dropkick. Sound quality was great and the venue was a great pick. On the down side the bar ran out of guinness before 8 o clock. Plan ahead alittle better next time guys. Thank you

Amazing show. So much energy on the stage and in the crowd. The opening acts were great. We especially liked Frank Turner. But when the Dropkick Murphys took the stage, all hell seriously broke loose. The music rocked, the lighting with the songs amped it up, and the stage manager used a couple of curtains to help push up the excitement more by hiding things till the crowd was in such a frenzy you thought they would explode.
