San Fermin played a fantastic set! Ellis Ludwig-Leone's songs are terrific, and the musicians and singers executed them beautifully.

Had to have been my favorite concert i've ever been to. They have such great chemistry on stage and everything just flows together really well. They sounded even better than on their records. Get the ticket

San Fermin is consistently the best live band I've ever seen. I have seen the four times now and each time they bring their A game and each album they put out brings something new to the table. Their sound is full and lively, and their set is long and well organized. There is good flow between songs and their lighting and sound are great.

San Fermin brings something special to their concert attendees every time. I have not known a more consistently tight band; the songs are well-composed, the instrumentation is expertly crafted, and the songs are just darn fun! You WILL dance at a San Fermin show. And, to round everything together, the band members are down to earth, humble folks that mingled with the audience after the show. If you love music, I highly (highly) recommend attending a San Fermin concert!

What an outstanding show! To see such an amazing band in this amazing venue was incredible! San Fermin played a very energetic & skillful set then came back with a super encore. Just can't say enough about this band! I will see them every time they're in the area!

This was the third time I've seen San Fermin and they get better each time. (and I really enjoyed the first time) I love the energy level they bring to instruments that can be pretty tame in the wrong hands. Since this was their three year anniversary show they brought out a number of their musical friends for collaborations and they were all excellent as well. I love seeing them at the Bowery Ballroom because of how close to the stage everyone is. I will be looking to see them when they return.

San Fermin were incredible live performers. The venue was small and intimate, which helped to create a good overall ambience for the show. We got there when the doors opened and were able to be nearly first row, although there is no bad spot in the house. Every element, whether piano, saxophone, trumpet, guitar or violin, worked together in a beautiful tandem. Charlene Kaye and Allen Tate were also excellent. Would definitely see them again!

I've been going to San Fermin's concerts for several years now, and while they were amazing right out the gate... this was one of their best concerts yet. The music is unusual and draws you into some really interesting experiences. This new album is particularly powerful -- it feels like being drawn into someone's journey of self discovery, combining the confusing pieces of coming to terms with things you don't like about yourself ("No Devil") and love that isn't quite the right kind of love ("Emily") (and "Sonsick" from the last album). I keep bringing friends to these because I love the experience so much. I love how authentic the sound and the experience is -- no machines, no DJs playing tapes behind the stage... just live music and people doing exactly what they love. All the love and darkness and spirit of the band comes out, especially when they play at Bowery Ballroom.

Powerful music and passion! Best show i have seen in a really long time. It is amazing that Ellis, the piano player, wrote and composed all of their songs. The live performance is 10X better than the CD, becuase all of the instruments are "speaking" at the same level and the energy from the musicians is crazy. MUST SEE AGAIN!

Small venue, a ton of energy, and uber talented musicians. If you have listened to the album then you will know it has a low key vibe, but the show is anything but that. It is always a fun show when you have a group of musicians that so obviously enjoy performing and playing their music. The musical composition was air tight and the set list was chosen well. If you have a chance to see these folks play take it.

We were running late and missed the opener, however we arrived just in time to see San Fermin. All of the 7 (8?) musicians on stage demonstrated great musicality and looked like they were having a wonderful time! I would highly recommend them to a friend! Great show at the Sinclair.

Exceptional songwriting, amazingly professional musicians, and two wonderful vocal leads. I am still amazed at the amount of work that must have gone into writing the music for all of the instruments. Heard about this group on WFUV and I'm really glad that I did.

My boyfriend and I had listened to San Fermin's album before at the recommendation of a friend, but seeing them live was an unforgettable experience. Their talent spoke for itself. We both left the concert wanting to play their album on repeat for the entire weekend. Every musician in the group adds something wonderful to the sound -- if you decided to focus just on the vocals, or the trumpets or the saxophone, you would still have an amazing experience. Together, the experience was breathtaking. I would HIGHLY recommend this group and event to everyone I know.
