If you are interested in artistic, harmonic, multi-instrumental, progressive and emotionally genuine music, go see Cloud Cult. Words are inadequate to describe the experience, but if you go, I'm certain you'll be glad you did.

These guys put on an excellent show.. They get the audience into it and the live paintings were very cool! Love this band and was happy to see that their live show impressed and made me like the band even more!

It's a large and multi-talented group, with unusual instrumentation (Bass played doubles as trombone, keyboard player also played french horn and trumpet and percussion, also great violin and cello players). They take all of this complicated sound and pull together something very exciting and cohesive, and are both fun and hyponotic at the same time. I highly recommend their new record "Light Chasers" although seeing the songs live did a lot to make me love listening to the record even more. Highly recommended!

For those who have not seen them before, you're in for a remarkable show. The music is outstanding -- a short list of the instruments include the standard bass/guitar/drums, but also includes a cellist, a violinist, keyboards, a trombone, french horn, trumpet... and two amazing mural artists on either side of the stage that create a painting during the show. It's very interesting to watch how the music and the crowd influences the painters, and the crossover of visual art with music is something you won't experience with any other band.

This show rocked my world! So much energy and stage presence. I've seen a lot of live music and this show was one of the best I've seen. Ever. I love their recorded stuff, and live I loved it even more. I could have watched them all night, I didn't want the show to stop. Amazing.

The Cloud Cult show in Denver blew my mind. The Bluebird is an intimate setting but it was packed. They played a few tunes from their new album, Light Chasers...totally amazing. The energy in the room was so incredible because the band puts everything they've got into their performance. The musicians are conservatory quality but they have this incredible creativity that marries many different styles. Also, they are tapping into some deep stuff with their lyrics and it all comes together for one of the best live performances I've been to in years. Get the new album and go see this show. I flew from Memphis to Denver to see it and it was sooooooooooooooooo worth it!!!

I'll admit that I was a little worried that Cloud Cult might be one of those bands whose albums are fun to listen to, but sucked live. I couldn't be more wrong! They are talented as well as theatrical. The paintings happening during the show were awesome.

This band, combined with this venue, was amazing. They performed two sets, and acoustic set and an electric set. Despite my misgivings about an acoustic set, it was even more amazing than the electric set. The place, combined with the beautiful usage of the instruments combined to form a harmonious almost tear jerking performance. Everything combined brilliantly.

Seeing Cloud Cult live is not just a concert; it's a spiritual experience. Their whole show included instrumental and lyrical art; visual art, including a light show and a cosmic background scene; ennthusiastic dancing from the band, and as always, fantastic vocals. Cloud Cult is never just a concert, but more of an all-encompassing art experience for the soul. From the drop of the first note in their acoustic set to the break inbetween sets, silent tears were continually streaming down my face. The experience was so beautiful, so real, so human - my heart needed this healing experience.

I've been to many Cloud Cult shows and will keep going because each show is unique and brilliantly executed. I loved that they had two separate sets: one acoustic and one electric. The acoustic arrangements were absolutely beautiful, especially "The Ghost Inside Our House." I brought my parents to this show. They hadn't heard Cloud Cult before and still loved the show. I definitely recommend it for any age or genre preference.

I have seen Cloud Cult many times. For years, I had hoped they put together an "acoustic" experience, since their talents and musicianship would meld so well with Craigs songwriting and create a whole new "sound". I was amazed when they did put together the acoustic tour and EXCITED when they recorded the mpls shows for an album! It is everything I imagined it could be. I was lucky enough to see a small intimate show in Rochester, MN ....and immediately wanted more. I vowed to get to their ST Paul shows at the Fitzgerald, since i knew it was a fantastic venue! I was lucky enough to get tix to the sunday show. I paused briefly on purchasing saturday show to find out how many tickets and if friends wanted to go.....waiting on reply, the show sold out, in minutes. Sunday it was! I decided to just get my tix and let others worry about their own. I decided to bring my 18 yr old to her first CC experience. She loved it, we got close seats and were in the front row for the "electric" 2nd set. Absolutely amazing...and i know she will be talking about it for a long time! As i told her....I could watch that show EVERY DAY! Absolutely amazing show!

The first set was all accoustic and it blew my mind. I breathed in the music and felt every note played inside my body. The second set was electric and pumped me up but lacked a certain level of emotion that the accoustic set nailed. I would give this show a 5 out of 5 stars if it was just the accoustic set, but even though the electric set was good, it was not good enough to be a 5 start set. This is why I gave this event 4 out of 5 stars.

I have seen Cloud Cult once a year for the past 6 years, and this show is by far the best. The acoustic set was so moving; fresh takes on some of their classics. They had the amazing ability to make the audience pay close attention to the small sounds, and then blow the place up with the loud ones. I cried 4 times, no shame. The electric set was a bit more "jammy" then I have come to expect from them, and just knocked everyone on their ass. I cannot recommend this band enough. As close to a religious experience as I ever expect to experience.

Great show, nice crowd, good venue. First set was acoustic, beautiful, then the second set was electric and they rocked the house. This band is the greatest, they have painters on each side of the stage, doing live art during the show, they come forward and sign in a couple of the songs, really a warm, friendly band. I will go see them again, and of course I love, love, love the Fitzgerald Theatre. We had general admission tickets, and we did not get there early so we were in the 2nd balcony, but still good seats.

Cloud Cult is the best live performing bands I've ever seen. This was my seventh time seeing them. My only complaint is that the Fitz, or maybe their sound guy, made the bass entirely too loud. We were sitting far from being in front of the bass amp and it was a little bit ridiculous. For me it was a little hard to enjoy the second half electric, which is usually my favorite part.

Cloud Cult was absolutely incredible. The venue itself was ok (good luck finding parking) but the performance was unlike anything. I'm a long time CC fan and this was my second time seeing them. The first was jaw dropping but I expected the awe to wear off for the second round. They are almost overwhelming in the intimacy, the emotion....it's like they're singing to YOU. At least I felt that way, and it sounded like everyone else in the audience felt the same. Do a favor for your psyche and soul: see this band!

This band keeps improving. This is sixth time I've seen them and this topped all previous shows. During several songs I thought, "This would be perfect for a Grammy show performance." If Arcade Fire can take the Album of the Year award, then there is hope for Cloud Cult to break through to a wider audience. Comparable songwriting, playing, and stage energy. Some revved up fans boosted the energy level at this show.

This is my son's favorite group and I was amazed by their performance. Each song was brilliant and the sound was perfect - not so loud that you were deaf the rest of the week but still vibrant and full of energy. (Yes I am showing my age :). This was an experience you don't want to miss if you have a chance to see them. Their songs are inspirational and poetically define and remind us of what makes us human.

Cloud Cult are an amazing act. they pull off their live show of the new material as if they have been playing it live for years. But, with the energy of it being new material. The older songs were played with just as much vitality and energy as the new. This is the kind of band that should be seen everytime they are playing in town. I, and I'm sure many others, feel extremely fortunate to still be able to see them while they are still playing in clubs like First Ave. Seriously one show on my "all time" list.

Cloud Cult always comes off as a loving, inspired, creative family that welcomes it's fans in with open arms. Craig's musical genius is apparent by his hard work on stage, the emotion in his lyrics, and his overall presence. The show is always put on with as much love as if given to a full house. Unfortunately, I feel Cloud Cult must be lacking in the marketing department, because it always baffles me why they are not huge by now. I hope for everyone, and Craig's new baby Nova's sake, they get all the recognition they deserve.

The first 1/2 of the show was a screening of a film (theSeekerFilm) that the band wrote and released in 2016. There is no dialog, only the music and lyrics of the band. It is heart-wrenchingly fantastic. The film is a journey of one woman, from her birth on, through joy, heartbreak and growth. It is stunningly beautiful (and only 60 min). The second half of the show was exactly what I've come to expect from a CC show: Brilliant artists (musicians, painters and storytellers). Plenty of deep cuts and some never before played live numbers that were energetic and poignant. See them if you have the chance.

The beginning of the show was very heavy. The movie was super emotional but amazing and the live soundtrack made it that much more impacting. The intermission was not too long, a good amount of time to unwind from the movie and stretch the legs a little. The following set was much happier, much more uplifting and the band showed that they actually enjoy playing in Seattle very much. They're not just a group of musicians on stage, they actually act like family up there while they sing.

Second time seeing them. The first time it was 2 years ago when they were doing the acoustic set. No acoustic this time but still amazing. They can convey such emotion without having to slow down their songs. The whole set was amazing. It's obviously not "hard rock" as another review said. For people that don't know this band: Still go see them. They are such good artists. The Sinclair is always a good venue. Some of the band members were hanging around after, which is always kind of cool. Can't wait to see them again!

Cloud Cult heals with their music. Their music frees the soul from the cage of oppression. Craig's songwriting is some of the best that exists and gets better with every new piece. The performance was tight, EXTREMELY melodically accurate, and mixed flawlessly. The venue provided amazing sound quality. I could actually hear myself when I sang along. Not because it was quiet, the band was plenty loud... perfect volume in fact... but because the sound floor was stunningly silent, I could hear myself as I sang along with song after song--which I did without inhibition, because Cloud Cult and my fellow Cloud Cult fans are both so respectful to every being's right to express themselves from the heart.

The show Cloud Cult put on at the Historic State Theater was a wonderful surprise! Although the vocals got a bit swept away by the guitar and violin a couple of times, overall everything was pretty tight. Gained in momentum, enthusiasm, and warmth as concert proceeded. Early in concert the bass (guitar sustain was too much) swamped the upper register and the harmonies and instrumentation - improved as concert went by. There really is nothing to compare with a CloudCult concert. They function and project at a high level throughout and really stay fresh and attuned to each other and the audience. Awesome new songs and just enough old familiars for longer term fans.

I have been to several Cloud Cult shows, but this one tops the list of of best shows of all time. Cloud Cult opened for themselves with an acoustic set and then took a break and came back and did an entirely different electric set. The acoustic set helps you experience the music in a whole new way. The intimate setting of the Synagogue really helps to put you in a mental space to feel the emotion behind the music and connect with it in a way that is more powerful than one of their regular shows.

When I first entered the acoustic set of Cloud Cult, I was not impressed. I felt the music was forced and the ambiance of having painters working behind the band contrived. As the first set moved on though, the quality of the performance seemed to intensify and make a very tangible connection with the audience. By the end of the first set I was hooked and sad to see them move on to their "regular" venue. The second set was great-ill fitted to the Sixth and I venue-but totally enjoyable and fresh. As lovely as the Sixth is, I didn't feel that it allowed for much "release" of energy from the crowd (there are pews.) In the end, I would definitely return to The Sixth and I Synagogue or to see Cloud Cult, just not the two combined.
