John Cafferty

I've been a fan for years, but never got the chance to see them live. Great energy right from the start. The band was tight, the mood was bright, and the show was outtasight!

Sounds as good as he did in the 80's played for over 2 hours

Considering John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band been around for 40 years, they sound absolutely terrific. They had the whole audience captivated and even my wife who wasn t that familiar with their music loved the show. Can t wait to see them again.

I have a memorable experience of meeting John Cafferty in person. I was driving a limousine in Washington, D.C. to put myself through college. I attended classes (and studied) during the day, and then worked (and studied) at night. This was during the prime of Mr. Caffertys career. One night after a benefit show in Washington, D.C. - featuring Clarence Clemmons, J.C. and The B.B. Band, etc. I picked up J.C. to take him to our local Reagan National Airport..... J.C. asked me if I had attended the show the night before. I told him that I was unable to..... because of prior commitments. J.C. then got quiet, as if I had offended him or something. Upon arriving at the airport and helping him with his luggage, he crumbled up a single dollar bill and handed it to me as a tip. I won't write on here what I really think of John Cafferty, it wouldn't be appropriate. But hey J.C., thirty years later, I still remember you very well.... (-;

A step back in time, when Beaver Brown was a staple 'down the Shore back in the '80's. John Cafferty & Beaver Brown still know how to create a party atmosphere, with their now-famous "Eddie & the Cruisers" material and old-time covers like "Runaround Sue" and "Domino."

John is gifted with a voice that never gets gets old and still sounds like he did in 80's. I'm highly disappointed at Stone Pony where I got the VIP and not a darn person in the place knew where to direct me other than some stupid section in the back w/ tables. After the show nothing, no meet & greet! I at least got to talk to "Tunes" a bit to pay condolences for his loss in Clarence Clemons. (Ps. 37:29)

I wish they played more songs from the Cruisers movies but it was still amazing... THESE GUYS ROCK!!!!

Delta Generators were phenomanal! They should have their own show. JC was awesome, I hope you invite him back. I would definitely come back to see either bands.

The show was unbelievable he was interactive with the crowd and full of energy. If you are a Southside Jonny or Springstein fan this is a must see you won't be disappointed. You could tell the band was having a ton of fun and they sounded as good as the CD. This is a must see when they come around again.

The concert was a great example of how the old rock groups are still the best entertainment around. The band is still a treasure to have around the area when you want to view and hear a great night of music.

Great Show! In my youth, we frequented the Old Forge Tavern in Easton....JC was as impressive today as 30+ years ago. We sat in the VIP booths, and were skeptical about the view when we saw the dance floor roped off and people standing to watch the show. But then JC came across the floor; grabbed my wife's hand to pull her from her seat; he handed her his microphone as he climbed atop the wall behind us...instantly Front Row! Tunes came right after - and this time I held his sax as he followed JC. Made our night!

The Band sounded great with the fine acoustics of the venue. John Cafferty & Tunes rocked! The spirit in the audience was terrific. Go see them to have fun & dance! (Note: Eat before you go... food at the Showcase was not very good.)

John Cafferty was great. The band sounded awesome and put on a fantastic show. The only reason why they did not get five stars is because I did not know there was an opening band. The opening band was fine but I thought it was too much of a jam session at times.

Good Jersey Rock is dying out - and Cafferty is by far my most favorite to listen to and see in concert. His songs never get old. I hope someone can clone him because I would love a new serious of Cafferty & Beaver Brown Band

We met JC before the show on the escalator. We said hi and introduced ourselves, my daughter, fiance and I. He was very thankful and grateful when I told him how much and how long we loved his music. His show was great. Hi energy. John and the band are great musicians. I got to get a picture with him after the the show and he still remembered our names. Can't wait to see JC and the boys again....

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band still have "IT" after 38 years!!!!!!!

One of the best shows I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot!) You guys need to come to Atlantic City way more often. You have tons of fans down here! Thanks for the great evening.

This show was one of the best I've seen in a long time. The energy was insane he played a long show with mo breaks. I definatly would give this show the victory dance. I can not wait to see him again.

A sizzling hot, high energy band. They get down in the audience for some close up and personal fun. Not your typical bar band, they will mesmerize you with the songs from Eddie and the Cruisers and much much more. A must see.

Beautiful venue.. too much delicious food.. talented band with great audience interaction.. memorable night ..

I went for Barry Goudreau's Engine Room and was pleasantly surprised by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. They had so much energy and kept the crowd moving. I'd only listened to On The Dark Side before this show but now I've fallen in love with them. As a lifelong Boston fan (I'm 23) I HAD to see Barry's new band and I wasn't disappointed. Their new album is amazing and I enjoyed listening to some songs from Boston, RTZ, Goudreau/Delp, and even Orion the Hunter. It was a great night at an awesome and close venue. I would go again!

The new CD is fantastic with Barry's unique guitar style (Bostonish) and Brian's incredible vocals. Tim Archibald and Tony D. provide a strong rhythm/backbeat. The show was full of energy and warmth as Brian and Barry spoke to the crowd through out talking aBOUT HOW THE GROUP WAS RE-FORMED FROM RTZ in addition to a tribute to former band mate Sib Hashian. Would definitely catch them up at Tupelo if you can.

All three acts were beyond my expectations, and I was a ' Ernie and the Automatics' fan for years. John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band started it off getting the audience rockin. When Barry Goudreau cam out with his NEW band "Engine Room" we were ready for some great rock entertainment and it was incredible. The talents on that stage was over whelming and clearly professional to a fault . I can not wait to see them again !!!

CD release party for Barry Goudreaus new band was alive and full of energy! The new music is fresh and exciting. The song Time is now tattooed in my mind. The band played a few Boston songs, most memorable was Smokin where singer Marybeth Meas stopped the show! Brian Meas amazing keyboard solos and vocals were off the charts. Tim Archibald was having such a great time it was contagious and Old Tony Depitro was fantastic! Barry Goudreau hasn't changed he is still a legend and he did not disappoint! His distinctive guitar sound brought me back to me high school years.

The show was amazing, from the opening acts, Charlie Farren and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, to Barry Goudreau's Engine Room's new music. The new music is powerful and strong! It was great hearing music from Barry's past as well. The memorial moments to Sibby and Brad were such a great tribute. I'm looking forward to seeing them soon again!

I love these guys. Been seeing them since 1980 and they are still rocking. Great show. Nice mix of their own originals with a new one (at least to my ears) thrown in. Some great covers and nice interaction with the crowd. Sure they are getting old, but they definitely aren't going thru the motions. Consummate professionals.

This band always puts on a great show ....lots of audience participation John is the consummate performer and Michael is a fantastic sax player Always enjoy seeing them

Where do I begin?.. Incredible venue and great music!!! What an awesomely fun night of amazing music! So great to hear such oldies but goodies shall we say.... And listen to such talented musicians having fun ! It simply was a wicked fun night !! Loved the opening act as well! Only small downfall ..is tables are a bit small for food and beverages for number at tables but I suppose who cares ? Once the show starts! Looking forward to many more shows!

First off, I've never seen a show of theirs. So I was hoping & expecting a good rock & roll show. What I received was much more! To be honest, John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band is best known for their music from 'Eddie and the Cruisers' and their play around the Rhode Island circuit. So I was expecting an Eddie & the Cruisers show with some cover band stuff thrown in. What I received was so much more. They rocked! They clearly played well past their defined set list and were just deciding on the spot what to play next. It ended being a major jam session that nobody wanted to end. People were dancing in their chairs, in the aisles and in general it was a great show. So much fun! If you've never seen them -> go!

I've seen this bands on a harbor cruise at the town of dracut homecoming day at the Wolfe Den at Mohegan,at a nightclub in Westerly over the course of 25 years and now twice at The Blue Ocean Music Hall and they sound the same and just as entertaining now!! A great time was had by everyone in attendance.

Wanted to see these guys for years now. I finally got to go and they did not dissapoint. Over two hours of solid rock and roll. They got the crowd involved right from the beginning. By the end of the night it was a dance party. Had to call and tell the babysitter we'd be late they played so long! Will definitely go see them everytime they come to the area. Go se them. You won't be disappointed.

The performance and showmanship was amazing and it would have been 5 stars if not for the crappy sound system that crapped out in the opening act and proceeded to get worse throughout the show. These guys deserve better. Great show, great songs, Bad sound. My ears were hearing a shush....... sound for 24 hours and it actually hurt my ears during the show.

The most amazing show I have seen in thirty years... The way that Cafferty interacted with his audience was amazing... After the show there was a large line waiting for autographs, most entertainers separate themselves with a table to give autographs... Cafferty pushed the table back to the wall and took the time to greet each person and took pictures when requested Gary Wells.

IO can't wait until John Cafferty and his crew are back in the area. I'll go every time!!!

We had a fantastic time. The age range for this concert varied and everyone was there for one thing , to enjoy the concert, no obnoxious people just fun loving people enjoying a great band. Thank you JC and the Beaver Brown Band.

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band always deliver a solid fun performance. This was the second time I have seen them and just as good as the first!

This was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. He comes across as very down to earth. Even came out to the audience and stood on a chair by the second song. very lively with GREAT MUSIC. The sax player was unbelievable. The concert lasted two hours. As I heard from someone else "most bands only play a little over an hour - this one was one of the longest and best concerts ever". He actually came out to sign autographs after the show. This is the first time I've ever seen a band member (Let alone the main singer) come out and meet the fans after a show. Very best concert EVER!!!!!!

It was an Amzaing night. The Venue was great, and the Band was AWESOME, and really seem to be having fun just being there, which I think makes their show SO much better. I cant wait to see the show AGAIN!!!

Good venue - relaxed and comfortable. Non-stop music. Definitely a concert to return to.

Unfortunately we could not stay for the whole show due to medical problem, but it was okay.To us, the sound was off. Could not clearly hear Cafferty singing. He sounded better when he was on the hand held mic.John was clearly bothered by the spotlight and kept telling the lighting crew to dim it. Wish we could have stayed until the end, seemed the crowd liked the show.

For our first trip to Asbury park, we wanted to see a concert at the Stone Pony, John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band was an awesome choice!

What a good time , great to hear this music again, reminds us of the great shows at the fast lane years ago that is about to be torn down, too bad. Southside at the Pony a few weeks ago, now Beaver Brown, next Bruce????

As i felt transported back 30 years to the first times I saw Caffertyand his band, the sounds of Jersey echoed through this Narragansett based band as if they were raised on the boardwalks of Asbury!!! Caffertys voice was as melodic and sharp as ever and the band never missed a chord on all the favorites that put them in the spotlight. I am still saddened by the absence of Bobby Kottoia and Patty Lupo and their big grins as they banged out the keys and bass. Nevertheless, the show was a blast and three encores later I was sent back out onto the streets of Asbury to dream about my teenage nights in the Stone Pony and Fast Lane....

I've seen these guys numerous times and they are just great musicians, people and performers. They are fun, they get the crowd involved and they sound very good. John forgot the lines in "Garden of Eden" but made it funny and they broke into a jam and it was awesome! True professionals. Many people don't know who they are and also think Bruce sings " On the dark side". They are a don't miss!

Such stage presence. Such showmanship. He had it all and it was a night to remember!
