Seeing Boingo play at a tiny club like the Canyon Club reminded me of the 1995 Clown of Death show at the Whiskey that I was lucky enough to attend. They played so many of our old favorites, and the best part is they aren't a cover band, it's the real Boingo! Johnny, Karl, Sluggo, and Doug with a great group of talented musicians filling out the rest of the band. Chris Paul did a fantastic job standing in for Danny on lead vocals. We miss Danny, but had a blast anyway. Rick was there too talking about Forbidden Zone II. L.A. really misses the Halloween shows gents, glad you chose to do this one.

AWESOME performance by several of the ORIGINAL Boingo members! I've missed that energy, nothing like Boingo and that night was truly special. To have so many members of the original band was beyond everyone's expectations but felt to the heart! CANNOT wait until their next performance! Do I have to wait until next year?! :(

even if you are not a fan of Oingo Boingo, you can not help but have a great time with this line up, which includes guitar virtuoso Woody Aplanalp. and as a bonus the opening band, Stolen Babies were pretty awesome as well!

It was all of Oingo Boingo minus Danny Elfman. The young front man was quite good and very enthusiastic. They performed almost the whole catalog of Only A Lad and Dead Man's Party along with a couple of other surprises. Incredible band for fans of Oingo Boingo. As for the venue. It was nice sitting in the pew though it was a little cramped for how many people they tried to get into each individual pew. The lights were difficult and aging right back into our eyes. Also, we were supposed to get drink servers but they never arrived once during the show. Still had the time of our lives

Fantastically tight band that sounds like they play together ongoing. Most songs played with original arrangements that we love and can groove with. The lead singer is a great fill-in for Danny Elfman and brings a ton of similar energy to the band. We would see this band several times a year if they played that often. I have no idea how they can play that well together in such a rare appearance. Just fantastic. Long live Oingo Boingo!

It was a long drive to Agoura Hills, but totally worth it. High-energy lead singer Brendan McCreary was wonderful, and the band sounded great! Loved every minute of it. My first time seeing them...brought back great memories of Oingo Boingo back in the day. Will definitely see them again!

Except for the people who knew nothing of the band and kept from the stage area so they could get thier Utube on...I had a rad time. Great venue. Brought back great memories of the times I saw Boingo back in the 80's. Hope they play here again really soon
