Deftones

I've been seeing the Deftones since 1995 and there was a phase around a decade ago where they just weren't sounded great live anymore but this tour they sound GREAT, Chino sounds AMAZING and theit set lists are phenomenal! They closed the show with Teething, a song I've NEVER seen them play in 22 years worth of shows so that alone was worth the rediculous ticket price and the obscene Ticketmaster surcharge.

What an amazing concert! Went to see Rise Against, but Deftones killed it! Would absolutely see them again.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, I can not hold any of the acts accountable for the fans! They were pretty rowdy at this show. THIS WAS A GREAT SHOW. The first opening act (Three Trapped Tigers) was really cool, and the second opening act (Thrice) was also refreshing. Rise Against gave an amazing performance. Their stage presence is so great, they performed hits that really got the crowd going as well as newer material. Deftones definitely was an experience for me, from the first to the last song, I did not want the show to end.

It was amazing to see them it was GREAT had lots of fun!!!!

Crowd was wild........there was a pit everywhere you were standing........music and ambiance match perfectly.

Best concert i have seen in a long time. The Deftones had to of played for almost two hours. they played so many songs and were full of energy the entire time and the crowd was just as energetic. near my top 5 of best shows i have been to. right under manson

This show, while lacking in quality opening bands, was truly a great show for a longtime fan. Set list of old and new, covering all bases, and still sounding every bit as good as the first time i saw them nearly a decade ago! Awesome!

I hadn't seen Deftones since Ozzfest '99, and they were great then and even better today!

DEFTONES!!! First time in Corpus. Loved the wind off the ocean. It's pretty nice when you're breathing the same cubic foot or air with about 9 people.

This was the best show I've seen in a while. Of course the Deftones always put on a great show. Missed our brother, Chi, but he was there in spirit. The venue is a great place to see shows. I traveled from Austin to see this show and will do it again to see one of my faves play there.

a great show put on by a great band. played for almost 2 hours while playing 5 new songs from their new albume. cant wait to see them back on tour and hopefully in san antonio next time. we miss you chi.

the opening band wasn't to my taste but the deftones put on a good show. it was worth going to.

Great show...If you are near a town that they are playing you so have to go...

This was my seventh time seeing this amazing band. Opening up with recent single diamond eyes and closing with and roots. It was definately worth the three hour road trip it took me to get to corpus. Venue was amazing and securtiy was in top form. In all the whole experience was superb and ticket prices were amazingly priced. Can't wait to pick up album on Tuesday.

I have to admit I wasnt a diehard deftones fan - till well I started dating my girlfriend - their show was great -- I'm definitely looking forward to going to see them again - the crowd was going nuts and we got lost in the crowd - it was amazing - Chino rocked it. Melissa.

This was probably one of the best shows ive seen, i was a little bit dissapointed, due to the fact that concrete street said their would be no moshing, and i took my small girlfriend to her first concert and had to keep her protected the whole night.

I was in the front besides all the dumbasses who push. It was awesome. The Deftones sounded great and Chino was amazing. This was my first concert ever and I had a great experience. Deftones for life!!!

The show of course was great. The venue was awesome. The night was bright and breezy. Something about the people though. I've been to shows in Houston, San Antonio and Dallas and the closer to the Rio Grande Valley you get the meaner they are. The people are really cool especially in San Antonio. But last night in Corpus Christi as people were trying to get in and out of the pit, other fans watching the show took it personal so they pushed and shoved back and a couple of times I saw a few fights that could have been, where as in other cities people simply get out of the way and don't want to fight. Just an observation. Overall it was a bad ass show. Can't wait to see them again tonight in Mission, Texas

Deftones opened up with some of their new material and just played non-stop for over an hour and a half. It was a show worth watching!

Been a huge deftones fan since around '96. Saw them at a Warped Tour back around '98 in Houston at the Astro Arena, so it was a massive venue. Had to crowd surf just to get to the front. Absolutely blew my mind. Years later, they came to Boston at a tiny venue called Axis (since torn down and melded into the House of Blues) for their White Pony tour. While I wasn't a huge fan of White Pony at the time, their show was off the hook. They always play their old songs (e.g., Teething) for their old fans. Since the venue was so small, they completely fed of the crowd's energy and threw and absolutely incredible show. Whenever I get a chance, I always see these guys. Even if you're just kind of a fan, you need to see them live; it'll throw you into being a big fan. Old fan, new fan, barely know them... doesn't matter. Always an amazing show.

I have been a fan of Deftones since 1996....I first seen them live in 1997 in Houston at general admission show with Quicksand and it was one of the greatest concert experiences. Since then I have seen the Deftone 3 more times live and now will be seeing them again in Corpus Christ, Tx. GA venues are the best way to see Deftones. Not at festivals where the sound production sucks, but at smaller indoor venues because you get to totally absorb the energy Deftones pumps out. Highly recommended.

I haven't been to any of Deftones shows! I would like to real soon! I know their shows are great. Deftones are the greatest band in my life. They will always be!

Deftones as always puts on an amazing show !! The energy on stage is 100% & they sound amazing !!! I see them every time they come to town !!!

The weather was perfect for a outside concert ! The crowd was rockin ! You could walk to any side , to get any angle you wanted to watch the show ! Deftones rocked the amphitheater!

Deftones on the water at Concrete Street Ampetheater. Weather was awesome Baroness opened for the show. Any sound guy has a tough time with a 25-30mph El Niño wind blowing in off of the Gulf of Mexico...but about the third song in the Deftones began to sound incredible. They played several songs off of Gore, but preferring Koi No Yokan I was stoked to hear Rosemary and Swerve City. Knife Prty, Change, Diamond Eyes and Rocket Skates were great as well. The Deftones put on a great show. I'll see them again.

4th time this year seeing The Deftones and each time is a new awesome experience.

There's a good chance I met the perfect soul at this show. An the pit was killer.

To start off, if you haven't had a chance to see the Deftones live at any moment in their career, you should treat yourself. Being around the music scene and staying relative for 20+ years is quite an accomplishment. The Deftones have a unique stage presence and it was further noticeable by their show at the Greek Theater, in LA. Their shows have reached a new level with their latest release, GORE. The outdoor atmosphere and surrounding of the Theater make for a great show none the less but a lot of the Deftones songs, such as Digital Bath, Change (in the house of flies), Rosemary and Passenger (all were played this night) seem to really connect with the living surroundings. You feel that connection with the earth while listening to these songs. Chino Moreno's stage presence only seems to grow more and more as the show goes by, whether it's interacting with the crowd (lending the microphone to a touring fan in the pit to sing along and acknowledging that he knows who he is because he's at every show), or having his moments with every band member on stage. Their harder hitting songs like the opener, Rocket Skates, really get the crowd pumped up and unfortunately, and i really do mean it, it's tough to get into the show when you're surrounded by seats. There's nothing like experiencing their live show in the pit as i have for years. It almost seemed alien to be bound to the small seat area, but that is life. Their new songs, Geometric Headdress, (L)MIRL and Gore, fit in seamlessly with the rest of their set. Gore was particularly fantastic since it incorporates a great groove, which the crowd seemed to enjoy, and headbanging at the same time. For an LA crowd, they seemed to be having fun and were particularly loud for their heavier, fan favorite songs like Knife Prty, Kim Dracula, Engine #9, Swerve City, Diamond Eyes and a fantastic rendition of Rickets (from Around the Fur). All in all, the Deftones still have it (not that they never have) and will continue to create a great atmosphere for the crowd to enjoy.The sound in the venue is great anywhere you sit so there is no audio loss due to particular seating. The venue was fantastic as always and the crowd seemed pleased once the show ended, leaving with huge grins and lots of merch on their way to their vehicles.

It's been a while since I've seen a Deftones show, I think this was the first since Chi passed ... The band sounded great, Chino's voice was excellent. They started the show with the new material but threw in a few of the older hits at the end with a Rage Against the Machine finishing the set. The only reason I didn't give the show 5-stars was because I wish the venue had given the option of reserved seating. We had to work so, by the time we arrived, the only place left to sit was the lawn. I would have preferred to pay a little more for tickets and have proper seats.

Had the best of time at this concert!!! The venue was breathtaking and perfect for this event. I can't wait to see another show here in October.

They were so lovely. I must have heard the songs they played over a hundred times each at home. I didn't expect them to sound even better live! They have been my favorite band ever since I first started listening to them. Seeing them live for the first time was one of the most magical moments of my life. I will never forget it. Thank you so much Deftones. Your music has moved me unlike any other art has. You will always mean so much to me.

This show was AMAZING! Small venue, but it had great sound, and the staff were all great! The band tore it up! I was able to get up front the majority of the show, and had a blast! Even got a high five from Chino! Great night!

The show was fantastic and at a great location considering it rained. All seats except lawn are covered so you'll never be miserable. Definitely worth the money and drive.

This was my 8th Deftones show and the first show I've seen at Festival Pier. The venue is nice and open with a good amount of concessions. The bathrooms are just lines of portapotties but that's what I expected. There are no seats, it's all standing room/GA, which is awesome. The show was awesome. The two opening bands were good but Deftones rocked. They played for over an hour and the set was kickass.

Unbelievable energy and raw power/aggression. Saw them last year, this year and hopefully they tour again next year

For 22 years, Deftones have brought it relentlessly! They've been touring for months and still take the time to play the night away and on into the morning. They didn't stop until a quarter after midnight! Money well spent! So damn good!

Fantastic show, Deftones were great. Second time I've seen them and I was really impressed by their energy and the precision of their music live. Sands is a nice venue - not a bad view in the house.

Growing up in Panama listening to Deftones, korn, limp bizkit ,slipknot ,311,etc I always dreamed about experiencing these bands live and I have been able to see them all , I was very excited about this concert and walking in to the theater was amazing the place was very nice . The lights, the sound and the energy is unforgettable , I will get tickets to other shows on that theater . I just loved everything about it. Deftones rock!!!

This show was perfect. I was front & center for my favorite band. I have seen them before 4 years ago but not like I got to this time! Chino gets so involved with the crowd and I was able to hold one leg up while another lady held his other leg, up on the barricade. Then I caught his eye and he grabbed my hand and jumped right in front of me. Literally 2 inches from my face. Deftones has been my favorite for 13 years now and I was absolutely speechless at how amazing this show was! I'm seeing them again in August, I can't wait another four years to see them! Uptown theater is a great venue & I always get super close. Best night of my entire life !

Amazing, amazing, AMAZING show! Code Orange opened and they were amazing too. Chino sounded just as good live as he does on record and the band just as well. They are so fun and really know how to throw a good show! Would see them again and again! And I will!

This was a show for the ages, not only for me but the whole crowd. Pompano Beach Amphitheater is a relatively small venue but, man was it alive. Chino Moreno always leaves it all on the stage, and Steph, Sergio, Abe , and Frank do the same. Chino interacts with the then entire audience and especially the hardcore fans on the rail. The is all over the stage sharing his love and passion for music with everybody in attendance. I've never been to a bad Deftones, and this was not an exception. being from Pompano, I took it meant the world to me to have him put on such an amazing show in my hometown.

The band and sound was great! The view... Not so much. I am 5' 5" and I was on the floor near the sound booth and couldn't see anything but the lights above the stage. Even after moving to the slightly elevated area in the back, couldn't see much... And there were people even shorter than me. Felt bad for them. I would go back but may wear platform shoes.

Because this band means so much to me I flew in from Des Moines IA and drove 4 hours to see them! Well worth it. Me and my hubby are very longtime fans and will always be.

The Deftones Were Awesome I Really Enjoyed There Performance !. The Band Was Really Energetic Sergio Vega Was Fun To Watch & Chino Of Course Brought A Lot Of Energy To The Stage , The Whole Band Really Did A Great Job !. I Took My 15 Year Old Son To The Show And We Both Had A Great Time !!!!. This Was The Second Time I've Seen The Deftones Live & I Would Definitely Buy Tickets To See Them Again !!!! .

Deftones had a great mix for a set including songs from each album and they absolutely rocked!!

The show at the Laredo Energy Arena was shaping up to be a bit dissapiointing; with the doors opening by seven, there were only less than 100 people in line. I had experienced another show at the arena a few years back with Tool, and I recall VERY few people showing up. Irregardless, we were let in promptly, and the area was cool, clean, and although cut in half, this made for a very close view of the band no matter where you stood or sat. We had originally bought seats, but decided to trade them in for floor (which only took a few minutes, and went off without a hitch). The show began and we were floored by the starting band Lesser Key. When Deftones finally had their turn, we looked back to see the floor was full but not brimming, and many of the seats were occupied, which meant they would have plenty of audience members to entertain. Overall, the venue was great, security was kind and considerate of the crowd, and the show was amazing!

Chino ripped the mic with all of his greatest hits the whole band didnt fail to bring it. I was a lil bummed it was played on concretes small stage nonetheless it was an AMAZING show. But then again when hasn't Deftines not brought the pain to the crowd. I knew when I arrived at concrete I was in for the time of my life in which I shared with my 15yr old stepsonJordan Balboa. A new Deftones believer. Come get yo knife , Come get yo knife !!

Not bad location for event. Showed up about an hour late and had already missed the first band. Timing could have been better explained. Deftones rock anyway!

Like always......Deftones always delivers a intense performance filled with aggressive energy. I say this every time, but this was the best show ever. That should tell you how awesome their shows are.

The Deftones did not allow the cold weather to keep them from putting on a great show at Concrete Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. This was the second year in a row that this general admission ticket show was moved from a side stage to their main stage. Because there was no seating, you could move wherever you wanted. Pretty much, no matter were you went you had a great view of the band.

Tight, the best Deftones I've seen live. Blended better than ever, Sound guy nailed it., perfect acoustics in this GREAT venue, one of my top 3 favortite venues in FL. Hard Rock Cafe Orlando

Another awesome show put on by the Deftones, the sold out theater was full of energy and momentum. The band easily matching the crowd's excitement with a rock solid metal show. They are what music and moreover rock is all about, and have been proving that for the past 25 years. Anyone who hasn't come out to see them, I head to buy tickets now and experience music for the history books.

I've seen the Deftones a few times and this is one of my favorite shows by them. The song list was good. They played over 20songs! They avoided the Saturday Night cd almost completely. Played about 4 songs off the new album the rest of the sons were all there good old stuff like 7words, Shove it, Change. Great set-list.

This is my fourth time seeing the Deftones at the NorVA and what can you say?? They're unmatched in their talent and energy... Chino was extremely interactive and definitely "on", despite having been sick on few dates prior to this one... I'm DEFinitely a happy member of the Deftones Familia! I got two sweet, sweaty, hairy Chino hugs and I can die happy now! HAHA! Good job guys, as usual! ONE LOVE FOR CHI!!

This was my 4th time seeing the Deftones, my first time at the Norva, and it was by far the BEST experience of my life!!!! Front row with Chino all up in my face! I even got a handshake & got to hold him up while he stood on the rail and sang in the crowd...3 times! Absolutely AMAZING & an UNFORGETABLE night! I ♥ the DEFTONES!!

HoB in Showboat casino was a pretty nice venue. Audio was good, but not great. Security was good to. Deftones had a great set list and rocked with lots of passion and energy. Yes, I would go see again!

This is my third time seeing deftones and I thought they played a lot of great songs. It was very heavy on he new album, but the new album is a winner. The show ended abruptly after engine no. 9 and seven words with no farewell to the crowd. My guess is chino was too drunk to keep going, he seemed real wasted .

Venue: beautiful, clean, lots of bars, phenomenal sound.... wow sound great. Only con. Tickets and drinks a little expensive. Deftones: didn't fail. Great energy, sound, and selection. Will absolutely see again. Overall: little $$$ but great place, great band, enjoyed the show. Good time

Awesome show! I've seen Deftones 8 times now and this was by far my favorite show. Combination of the venue, fans, setlist, Chino's energy. I've never been to Electric Factory before, as I am from DC and live in Boston but I'd definitely go back to see Deftones or another band if I can make it to the area. Overall, hell yes. Deftones are an amazing band with an incredible frontman. They know how to put on a phenomenal show. :)

They're right up there with seeing Meshuggah and Periphery live. Unforgettable

As always, Deftones delivered a great performance. They have such great stage presence, especially Chino. The setlist had a lot of standards plus a few they haven't played for a while like Bored and Feiticiera. New songs are solid, looking forward to the latest album. I really like Leathers though, I'd like to see that live. I'm sure they'll tour again when the album comes out. If you have a chance to catch them I definitely recommend this show!

This was my second time at Harrah's Voodoo Lounge and i went both times to see The Deftones. Deftones have the unique ability to range from heavy hard hitting aggressive rock, rap-rock, metal, all the way to the other side of the spectrum, baby making music. Chino's emotion and style is unmatched. Deftones music is both beautiful and brutal. THERE IS NO OTHER BAND LIKE THIS ONE. if you havn't seen them before and you are an avid concert goer you should take an opportunity to see them in an intimate venue such as Harrah's. 20+ yrs doing shows and these guys are still on point.

It was overall a bad ass concert both Deftones and scars on Broadway rocked.three only thing that sucked was how if you were 18 you had to stay in the balcony. I had a lit if fun can't wait to see Deftones again!!!

Awesome show! Small venue. It didn't matter where you were. You were always close to the action. I used to listen to Deftones back in high school so it was great to finally see them. Lots of energy!

I've never experienced a show quite like this. Deftones put on an amazing show and Chino Moreno has an unbelievable energy like no other performer that I have seen.

I had not been to a show in a very long time & I have to say this was one amazing kick off to a new round. Deftones were amazing!! Great energy, amazing stage presence!! The opening band La Butcherette is now one of my new faves!! They were fantastic!! & when Teri Gender performed Knife Party with Chino I could've died happy!! It was such an amazing show & the venue was awesome!! I loved it!! Best birthday ever!!

The total show was awesome and brings the Deftones to a new level of great performers musicians and one heck of a rock band and I have seen must all of the classic rockers. The Who The Led ect. I want to go to Atlanta , New Jersey . Like I said what a performance.

The Warfield is definitely a great venue. The Deftones were incredible and I would love to see them again.

Wow when the deftones come to your town everyone try to go to there show ! Chino puts on a performance that no one can top he gives his all every show . Seeing them live is something u will never forget. Oh yeah first band with the chick as the lead singer sucks ;)

venue is amazing, very heavy opening acts. dillinger isnt really my style, but he did alright on maynards part in 'passenger' chino, stef, abe, and bass guy were incredible as always! i woul drive anywhere to see these mofos.

As expected from Chino Moreno and crew, the Deftones never disappoint. In one of their fiercest, fastest, most amazing show's I've yet to see from this guys( this making my eighth time watching them live, 3rd in the last 18 months) the Deftones left little to be desired from their show. Playing most of their new material, plus a plethora of old songs, they rocked the venue like they owned the place. The opening bands were OK, which seemed right, because we were all ready for the main dish, and it was going to be one spicy meatball. Maybe it was the fact that ten years ago, my first concert ever was them, the Deftones, touring with their, then new, White Pony album, or the fact that their new album, Diamond Eyes, just blows my mind away, the Deftones really know how to keep the status of Favorite Band on my mind and the mind of those who went to the concert with me... this coming from someone who three weeks earlier finally got to see System Of A Down live and felt that it was the best show ever :P, and like i said earlier, then comes Chino Moreno and makes me his bitch all over again jajajaja

ive seen the deftones a number of times and once again they did not disappoint me. the joint is a great venue and the crowd for the most part were cool. the sound was good, chino brought great energy to their set and the band was solid all night.

if your a fan of the deftones and have seen them live before, then you already know they put on an awesome show. tickets were super cheap for this show so theres no excuse for anyone who wants to see them not too. they played for about an hour and a half i think, i'm not sure though. i was too busy having fun. i've seen them 3 times now and this is the first time i've heard knife party live. the deftones always like to bring out members of the other bands on tour with them to fill in on songs that require guest vocals. Le Butcherettes lead singer did so on Knife Party. awesome song. awesome show. just go!

This was my first Deftones concert I have ever been to and it was truly the best weekend ever. I have always been a big fan since I was very young, first heard them while watching dragonball z, and since then I could not get enough. Seeing Chino in real life and so close you can touch him is such a memorable moment and the opening acts were great. The Joint in the Hard Rock had amazing acoustics and I would definitely go back there for more concerts.

Me n my husband loved the show. Couldn't have asked for a better one. Definitely a must see. I recomend their music.....so.....liberating.
