Ali Campbell's UB40

There wasn't enough time left for UB40 so it was very late when they went on and they had to rush through a short set. Since they were the act I came to see, I was extremely unhappy. The other acts were good but there was a lot of talking and not enough music by them and also by the woman who emceed the event. The venue doesn't have their act together. Telling people that doors would open at 6 and then making people wait outside on a long line in the cold until 6:45pm. This was followed by an inefficient security check that further held people up and then masses of people waiting in the concourse until they were allowed into the arena. This made buying food and eating difficult- not a good way to encourage people to spend money at the venue.

All the performers were good, but Shaggy and Berea Hammond top them allr When UB40 sang "red, red, red wine," the crowd went crazy. Overall, everyone did a very good job.

Beres stole the show. He is legendary. The other artists were good as well but I was there for Beres Hammond and my money was well spent . He performed all of my favorite songs. Although I am not west indian like Beres , I appreciate great music . I attended the event with my mother who is also a Beres fan. Overall I would do it again. The Barclay center is a great additon to Brooklyn.The venue is very clean. From security to restaurant employees and ushers everyone seemed to be on task. Overall Great experience . BERES HAMMOND ROCKED THE HOUSE! : )

The part I really hated was the amount of time we had to wait for the bands to break down and set up the new one. Too much time wasted on that. Then they never announced UB 40, the last band to play. I thought that was in poor taste. Otherwise, I am glad I went.

ALI CAMPBELL IS A GREAT SINGER BUT DIDNT FIT IN AT THE BARCLAYS CENTER IN NY. Show was lackluster and honestly the management of the show was horrible.Ali seemed pist rightfully so.Ali should of came on earlier with his softer contemporary sound would of opened the show alot better then close it. By the time he came on the crowd had been there for like 5 hours and everyone seemed to be spent by that point. Half of the arena was clearing out as ali was performing. but in all honesty the real ub40 is just better and knows how to please the crowd. Ali's ub40 is dull and lacking the spunk and personality that the real ub40 has. Idiots should of put shaggy last and kept the crowd a little more hype. dj was crap... no mc announcer was crap... WHOEVER ORGANIZED THIS SHOW NEEDS TO TAKE A CLASS ON ORGANIZING EVENTS BECAUSE THEY SUCK AT IT.

All the acts were awesome, but I can honestly say that Ali Campbell still sings like he did in the 80's and sounds just like he does on CD. I am definitely going to the Icons of Reggae Tour next year.

Concert was awesome. All the singers were amazing. If I could say something negative is that when Toots started singing, the sound gave a lot of problems and it took the guys forever to fix it

Was a great show minus the 15 minute delay for the sounds difficulty. I came to see Beres and he came to give a show.

Hot show Shaggy brought the audience to their feet............everyone was nice and I fuljoyed UB40......

Great Performances By All Artistes. This event should be repeated. My first time seeing Ali Campbell & UB40 perform and I loved it. However, Barclay Center needs to train their staff in public relations; they're way too crude.

The show was excellent. All the artists were good. Shaggy hyped the crowd, loved his brooklyn inspired tee-shirt.. Maxi sang well, UB40 closed the show on a good note. The ultimate climax of the show was the performance by Beres he was awesome..

it was ok but i was there for beres hammond. It could have been much better than it was.

THE CONCERT WAS GREAT SHAGGY DID HIS THING, MAXI PRIEST SANG THE SONGS WE KNOW BUT CHANGED THEM SO YOU WEREN'T ABLE TO SING ALONG, UB40 NOT MY CUP OF TEA AND BERESSSSSS DID HIS CLASSICS THAT SHOWED WHY HE A LEGEND. THE ONLY PART I NEVER LIKED WAS THAT UB40 CLOSED AND THE LINE UP ORDER WAS ALL WRONG. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN UB40 MAXI SHAGGY AND THEN THE KING BERES TO CLOSE. AFTER BERES DID HIM TING IT WAS LIKE A MASS EXIT WHILE UB40 PERFORMED. ANYWAY LOVE THE SHOW!!!!

Event was great, Ali Campbell should have performed 2nd to last and Beres Hammond last. Overall experience was ok, disappointed they didn't have enough wine for sale.

Beres stole the show Ub40 was good.the show lacked in between entertainment while artists setup their equipment the crowd seemed bored thank god for Beres

My first time seeing beres in person. The show was great . The ushers were on point. Great viewing from my seat. All the performers were great and can't wait to jam with them again. Keep it up barclays

The show was great - lots of positive vibes and great music. Shaggy and Beres were the highlight of the night and they connected beautifully with the audience.

Beres is still the man musically!He is a god send to all of us.You have to see him to complete your list of reggae concert events or else you"ve lost out big time.His rythms gives u the shivers.

The event started late, constant technical issues delayed the performance even more and awful acoustics in the upper levels which made the performance unwatchable. It was impossible to understand what was being said and the music was just undistinguishable noise. The only consolation was that the staff handed out floor tickets for those who asked, but not after Maxi Priest had performed and half way through Shaggy performance.

I was disappointed that the show did not start on time, this eventually led to each artist having to cut short their time on stage. It was just a rush, rush to finish on time. I would have loved to hear more of UB40, even though the MC did not introduce the band.

The show was ridiculously unorganized. I brought 3 friends to the show and I was sorely embarassed. The MC was terrible!! They didn't have a decent DJ to keep the crowd rocking and engaged thru the band changes and if that was a DJ that was trying to play, he should honestly be reevalutating his career choice cause it was just awful. For a show as big as that and as expensive as it was there should hve been much more attention given to detail. I'm Jamaican and I am all got Jamaicans. Good bad and the ugly, but that was just really embarassing. Thank God Beres brought it!! If it wasn't for him, I would seriously be demanding my money back and just by listening to everyone who were there, they kinda had the same sentiments. Thanks Beres Hammond for not letting that night be a total bust!

The venue has comfortable seats..I sat in section 16. The bar drinks were watered down or forget the ice...I have to say Shaggy gave a great performance..he was second in the lineup. I came to see Beres...his performance was nice..he sang most of his hits...he seemed tired to me..IDK. I was hoping that the venue would have sold items with words Sounds of Reggae- 12/12 on them..or even a cup, t-shirt etc. Overall a great experience for my friends and myself,

the sound system for Maxi priest was very poor, Shaggy did not sing at all, only stripping and wineing...leave that for de trini dem, thank God for the last two Artist...and the worst MC i have ever seen in my life......

The performers were good for the most part, but the venue could use some improvement. None of the toilets flushed and the prices of drinks were outrageous. UB40 was the final performance and people were leaving in droves after their first song. It was empty by the time they finished their set. Beres Hammond was amazing, Shaggy was entertaining and I missed most of Maxi Priest.

The concert, food & pricing were all great! loved it!

This was an event truly not to be missed!! Incredible night from all the performers!!

It great to see and hear UB40. Beres was awesome as usual wish he performed a little longer.

The venue and atmosphere was great. I am definitely looking forward for more shows like this one. Way to go!

All the artists were great. But honestly, we were there to see Beres Hammond. Everyone else was just an opening act. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of respect to UB40. Everyone else was announced before they took the stage, but not UB40. That really make me think less of the hostess.

The cast was good,beras should have ended the show.with no curtain fall the host did not carried the show from artis to artis, to see crew members pulling wires running all over the stage looked so unprofessional. I thought I was there to see a well rehearse show

The concert was great although there were few delays when it came to set up each artist. I still enjoyed the moment.

Although the show got off to a late start, I did not regret one minute of it. I loved Maxi, Shaggy & Beres who I had especially came out to see. I enjoyed myself to the max.

It was very beautiful but i wish UB 4o was the first person and Beres Hammond was the last person to finish the concert.

Love All the lineup performances. Beres was amazing as always! Wish that UB40 came on earlier, because people started to leave due to the time period. I watch each and every performer. PLEASE have this next time on the weekend, so that other people could have the opportunity to come!

Band change sucks, so much time wasted! Find ways to entertain us during this period!

Very unorganized and wrong not a good host late show starting and many performers didn't stay on and give a performance.
