Although the Orpheum Theater is an older theater with poor acoustics and compromised viewing from the balcony, Yes was still amazing after all these years. Jon Anderson s voice is still magnificent. Trevor Rabin s voice sounds similar, in some ways to Jon Andersons and his guitar solos were fantastic. Rick Wakeman played a great pipe organ sounding piece that was incredible. I highly recommend everyone to go see them.

The show was fantastic- we had front row center seats. None of them have lost a thing with a little age. Jon's voice was as smooth as ever, Trevor on the guitar was wonderful and what can I say about Rick? He is as good as ever. The show was great and the meet and greet was worth every penny. The only thing I was disappointed in was about half way through, I was asked not to take pictures with my SLR camera. I was not using a flash and not taking any video, unlike most other people. I don't know if this was PAC or the group.

The show was about 2 hrs. without an intermission. They love what they're doing and it showed. Even though it was not the complete YES lineup each song still sounded good.

Closest thing to a Yes concert I've seen in years. Trevor Rabin was a tad rusty, but that's OK. As a guitar player myself it was fun to see that I'm not the only one that screws up occasionally. Jon Anderson was in excellent voice, Rick Wakeman was fabulous as well. Whoever the bass player was, he deserves a medal...a real student of Chris Squire, and playing A bass strung for right-handed players flipped over and playing left-handed!!! All in all a wonderful night that I've waited for years to see.

Show was splendid! A blast down memory lane. I have loved Yes since I was 12 years old. 80% of the play set was from their triumphant trio: The Yes Album, Fragile, and Close to the Edge. Just what I hoped. Sound was excellent. Venue is perfect. The guys were a bit sloppy with the beat at times, sounding more like a jam session. But this (A) may have been intentional, (B) due to Orlando being the kick off for the tour, and (C) me too much comparing the studio recordings to live music. And truthfully I actually prefer it when the live rendition does not match perfectly the original recording. Otherwise why bother to hear them live?! For all of them their stage presence was terrific. Anderson hopping around stage. Wakeman with his trademark cape lording over the whole show. I don't know much about Rabin, but he and the other guitarist were fine. For all Yes fans, don't walk but run to your online device and buy tickets. Hard Rock was virtually sold out which adds to the fun. I could go on and on. The only fav of mine they did not play was Close to the Edge, which is understandable due to its length. Acoustics and sound quality were very good, which is important for this band. And they played a full two hour set including encore. Loved it. Long live Yes and 70's symphonic/prog rock. Thank you ARW for getting back together. You have an adoring fan base. Enjoy your tour. You kicked it off in grand fashioin!!

There are 2 versions of Yes touring now and this was the better - Jon Anderson's voice was strong and he hit notes like the old days. It was fun to see Rick wearing the cape like the old days. The band played well together, even tho no one could ever replace Squire...

One of the best concerts I've seen in a while. With Jon Anderson back at vocals and Rick Wakeman on keyboards along with Trevor Rabin on guitar, the band played all the classic Yes songs along with some big 80's hits. The band has not missed a beat after all this time! Would highly recommend YES to even the novice fan.

I ve seen both Yes touring versions and this one has the most amount of Yes-ness going for them. Jon Anderson is in fine form and still can sing pretty darn well. Rick Wakeman prancing around in a cape is almost worth it right there. Trevor Rabin as one would expect performs his songs from his Yes time with the band very well. He also however does a pretty god job with Steve Howe s parts. The bassists does a decent job - he s no Chris Squirer buts that s not fair. The drummer is more than adequate. If you want the closest thing to a Yes experience go see this version. You will have a great time. I know I did.

Yes in its various incarnations remains my all-time favorite band, and every show I've seen has been great. Once again, they did not disappoint. This was my second time for this particular lineup, after seeing them last year near the beginning of their tour. If anything, they've gotten even better. Jon's voice is holding up great, and if anything, Trevor has gotten even better, more expressive in his solos than last time. Rick - well, Rick on a bad day is better than many at their best, and he was not having a bad day at this show. Enough changes to the setlist too, so it wasn't merely a repeat show, Notable additions not performed last time were Heart of the Sunrise and South Side of the Sky. The audience was definitely into the band, and not just there for the 'hits' like Owner of a Lonely Heart.

It's funny seeing "old" Rock & Rollers during the course of their career or "our" lifetime. Had you seen Yes, back in the day (for me the 70s) and then now, they seem, well, like an old friend. "Yes" as you may know, sadly like many other Super Groups has had their share of personnel changes and even more sad, deaths "Chris Squire." The group now, broken down into 2 touring groups. 1- Steve Howe, Alan White, Jon Davison, Geoff Downes 2- Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman and Trevor Rabin (know as AWR) have each been touring and each doing their own respective sets of Yes music, not many songs if any were repeated in either show, of course, Roundabout their all-time greatest hit was. As of course an Encore in both shows. I was fortunate enough to see both "local" shows this year. The one with AWR was (in my opinion) far better. Maybe it's because I was a keyboard player and when I had hair fancied myself, Rick Wakeman. Maybe it was Jon Anderson's ethereal voice literally driving the music. Although he seemed tired his voice was strong, unwavering and as magical as ever. Or maybe it was the arena and the fact we paid for the "meet and greet" Something that I would highly recommend doing for your lifelong favorite performers. The Santander Event was fun, intimate and worth every penny. The meet and greet exceeded expectations and the seats were awesome. 2nd row center. Best seats in my life! We had a blast, maybe because it was "Yes," my "old friends" even Wakeman joked about being on the road as an "old" Rocker. Maybe it was I was with my "Old Friend, Kenny" who was with me the 1st time I ever saw yes back in 1974 and what a way to celebrate Kenny's retirement some 43 years later. Anyway, awesome experience from ticket purchase to the Encore of Roundabout! Thanks, Ticketmaster, Thanks, Santander Performing Arts Ctr. Thanks, Jon, Rick and Trevor! Fabulous show!

This was the most amazing experience. Though pricey, the meet and greet package was SO worth it. We had 2nd row and we got to meet Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, and Rick Wakeman; listen to the soundcheck; we got a bag and hat; we got appetizers in a lounge area. It was AWESOME. They are all super nice and funny and they put on an AMAZING show. Jon's voice is still phenomenal. I would recommend this show to ANYONE who enjoys music.

Iconic songs from an exceptional classic group, delivered in a performance that is not a "concert" but more as a tight group of artists, performing their life's work as a true artistic expression of sharing and pouring their hearts into it. I liked YES before seeing them, but after experiencing their performance, I have to say they are truly exceptional artists, so differently unique than other groups, and I have been binging enjoying their music since seeing them!

It was so great to see Jon Anderson sing with a full band. I am a longtime Yes fan and have seen almost every version of them, nobody sings it better. Trevor Rabin is a great guitarist. Awesome set list that featured many of his time with the band during the 90125 and Big Generator releases. He handled all the Steve Howe leads just fine and then some. Perpetual Change and Awaken were fantastic as these haven't been played in many years. Wakeman was his usual amazing as on display with Heart of the Sunrise and South Side of the Sky. The Tilles Center is a good venue, but some mentioned that toward the back, the sound was not loud enough. I was fortunate to be in the fourth row. I recommend to any YES fan to catch this version of the band.

This was my second time seeing them recently with the first being the San Jose show in November of last year. That show was a little disappointing as the majority of the band was sick that night and they cut three songs out of the set list which unfortunately happened to be some of my favorites. I originally vowed to not see them again but after my mother died recently I adopted a "life is too short" approach and decided to spend the $500 on the Meet and Greet package. To say it was well worth it was a HUGE understatement. After being somewhat disappointed with the Joe Walsh package from a couple years back (which basically consisted of getting my picture taken with him and that was pretty much it) my expectations were somewhat lowered for this one. Boy, was I ever wrong! The experience started off with getting to sit in for the sound check where they played two songs. This was an interesting experience in and of itself as I was a little surprised that after playing together for as long as they have, they still needed to make several adjustments to how they wanted things to sound. After that Trevor, Rick and Jon came to the front of the stage and answered several questions that had been written down in advance on little white cards. I initially couldn't think of anything to ask but was able to frantically write down a question for Rick, asking him if he knew anymore dirty jokes which was in reference to the couple he told at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. To my delight and surprise it was the first question they pulled and Jon ended up telling one of Rick's jokes. This surprisingly went on for about 20 minutes and to one of the roadie's dismay, they ended up taking a few questions directly from the audience. Next up was the autograph session which I wasn't even aware of in advance, otherwise I would have brought something for them to sign. Thankfully however they had no problem signing my VIP lanyard and baseball cap we had been given as part of the package, which was very cool as I've heard other bands only wanting to sign show-purchased merchandise. As I got to the front I mentioned the November show in San Jose to ask politely if they were all healthy now. I was initially hesitant to ask this as I was afraid they might take offence to my bringing it up but Rick's response was a super polite "Yeah, that really knocked us all back" response. For the picture taking session the band was incredibly patient and polite as some of the people wanted more than one pose. When it was my turn I got to shake Trevor's hand for the second time (I've always been a huge fan) and then while we were getting ready to finally take the picture I looked to my left and Jon just casually puts out his hand and goes "Hey, how are you doing?". All in all I had the time of my life and it was worth every penny.

This is one of two different bands calling themselves Yes. The other band only has Steve Howe the original guitar player. The one we saw had original singer Jon Anderson and original keyboards Rick Wakeman. Trevor Rabin played lead guitar. He is unbelievably talented. He wrote owner of a lonely heart. They sounded great together.

Jon Anderson and Rick Wakmean were stellar performancees, had a difficult time hearing Trevor Rabln's guitar, it seemed under miced with most effects. Cymbal crashes and snare drum hits were non existent to me, so it seems the auditorium was overly absorptive. Still a memorable event for long time Yes followers.

I've been a Yes fan my whole life, and I actually skipped their last few shows as I felt I would never again feel the same way about their live shows without Chris Squire or Jon Anderson. I will say that Jon Davison did a good job on vocals when I saw the 3 album tour, but I wanted to remember them as they used to be. I was very excited to hear about the ARW tour, and I took a close friend and my 2 sons. My friend had seen Yes on their last trip through here, and said he felt like he was watching a Yes cover band. Not the case here, all the member played very well, Jon sounded great for someone in his 70's, Rabin's vocals and guitar playing were top notch, and of course, Rick Wakeman was himself...fantastic! A real surprise was Lee Pomeroy on bass. When Jon announced they were going to play Long Distance Runaround in memory of Chris, I thought it would be tough for Lee to try and do the Fish but his solo was maybe the highlight of the night and the audience was very appreciative that he stayed true to Chris's style. A nice setlist of songs you don't normally hear too often from 90125. Hold On was stellar, Heart of the Sunrise was another stirring number. This was a lot more of a Yes concert than a Yes concert. I would definitely see them again.

Wow, seeing Rick Wakeman live in concert is just stunning and hearing Jon Anderson singing my favorite Yes songs was great. Trevor Rabin was also very good, as were the bassist and drummer. Rick Wakeman stole the show though, with his signature cape and his hands deftly gliding around 8 keyboards, it was watching a master at his craft. I highly recommend this show! And the Orpheum is a great theater.

Have been going to see YES in various forms since 1978. YES has been one of my favorite bands since high school. Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman's performances were as memorable as they were back then. Trevor Rabin on guitar was fantastic but wished Steve Howe, and of course, Chris Squire, could have been there, as well. Chris was there in spirit. Nothing beats the sound of Jon's voice or Rick's talent on the keys. Seen Yes most recently in 2014 and 2011 - two great shows, but I believe this was the best of the three!

Starting with an impressive venue, with top notch sound quality and adding in some of the best of the best musicians made for a wonderful evening of Yes music. Rick Wakeman, keyboard virtuoso, Jon Anderson with one of the most recognizable voices in rock and the incomparable Trevor Rabin are the quintessential members from the band Yes in my book. A fan for over 40 years have never been as impressed as I was Monday evening in Nashville. The entire band were thoroughly enjoying themselves, which in turn made the experience enjoyable for the audience as well. My 20 year old daughter went with me and after listening to Yes over the years in my car and listening to Wakeman since she plays piano was interested in going, but admitted afterward that she was totally thrilled by the show. We also had meet and greet, so when she was able to ask Rick a piano question and all three were interested in her question, made it all even better. Next was an autograph session, followed by a photo op and the three remembered her name and more conversation followed and if management wouldn't have moved us on, I believe we would have been there for a long time talking. So, yes, if you have been a long time fan, go see ARW and if you have never heard them, go see ARW, you will not be disappointed.

Jon Anderson, at 72 years young, was in great voice and intonation! Rick Wakeman's playing was flawless! THE best keyboardist in the world! Trevor... great player. Over plays sometimes. Drums and Bass great players and good addition to band. Great personalities. Everyone in band seemed to enjoy themselves and had a great time. Overall sound was good. I thought vocals EQ could have been better. Lacking body and too much 1.6k area. Wished I was mixing the show... :-) I've mixed 3 shows in that same venue before. Challenging, but doable and fun. I would have loved to get meet and greet pass without having to spend $$$$

This was a magical evening. Bought tickets many weeks ago with lots of anticipation. The venue here in Nashville has awesome acoustics as it is home of the Nashville Symphony. The stage was simple but nice...had an opportunity to go up to the stage prior to the concert to see Rick's set up and it was pretty impressive. Jon was at the top of his game...did you know he is 72 years old? Rick really blew me away this night....as classic and nostalgic as if it was 1976! Trevor was having fun and had some great moments. I really liked the bass player although we all missed Christ big time. The drummer was fun to watch too. All in all it was a magical evening. They played for over 2 hours!

Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman are 20% original, 40% classic, and 60% more than 10 years in YES. YES is 0% original, 20% Classic, and 20% more than 10 years with Chris Squire. Jon Anderson is heart and soul of the band, Wakeman is a wizard, and Rabin covers Howe's parts with cool twists and shines on the YES songs he wrote. If you are a YES fan don't miss this.

This was 3rd time I've seen the "ARW" line-up this tour. I also saw singer Jon Anderson twice this summer withe Anderson / Ponty Band. Possibly becuz the entire ARW ensemble have only been playing together since end of summer 2016, & former YES members haven't re-united in a LONG TIME....but every show I saw, they got tighter & better (not that ANY show was not great & a pleasure). But ARW @ The Beacon Theater was the best of the 3 ARW shows I saw (also Friday 10/21 @ Toyota / Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT, & Monday 10/24th @ Wellmont Theater in Montclaire, NJ). The band was feeding off the crowds excitement, & they also seemed to be happy that their new band had sold-out in NYC! When they played "Awaken" (which they did at same point of all shows I was at), I have NEVER seen an audience act like a piece of music had such a strong effect on them. When I closed my eyes, I imagined I was a teenager again, at 1 of many YES concerts I saw in the 1970's, or the Big Generator Tour in 1980's.

I went into this show hoping they would be decent and that I'd get a nostalgic YES fix. Boy did I set the bar low. They absolutely killed it. It was like seeing a good old fashion YES show from the late 70's with a taste of mid 80's YesWest that was really good. Rick Wakeman was remarkable but looks unhealthy. Jon Anderson sounded pure as a snowflake falling in the forest at midnight. Trevor Rabin was dynamic. I prefer Steve Howe, but no complaints here. Lou Molino, the drummer, played the oldest songs like Bill Bruford and the newer material like Alan White. That was cool. He was tight, energetic and contributed back up singing. Considering how old and how much Alan White has been mailing it the last few tours I thought it was refreshing. Lee Pomeroy did an outstanding job on the bass and did a great job singin back up vocals. He nailed The Fish. I would suggest that considering how much YES's music is centered around Chris's bass playing that they feature Lee more for the good of the chemistry of the music. They presented him as more of a hired employee and I think featuring him more would go along way towards the overall energy of the music.

This event transcended being a mere concert, and became a two-hour celebration both on-stage and off. Everything about this concert was 5-star. EVERYTHING. Anderson's voice is finally back to its full glory. Rabin's voice and fingers seemingly never left, and he brought his energy and charm, in full. Wakeman was still the master of the keyboards, and how can you argue with a rocker who wears a cape?! To round out the band, the two gentlemen that they selected to play drums and bass were both masters of their trade, and very likeable showmen. Excellent choices. The stage and overall venue were simply gorgeous, and the sound was excellent. When they played the rockers from the Rabin albums, the bottom end was massively full and solid, making them the best live renditions of those songs that I've ever heard. I was VERY pleased about that. The setlist was absolutely superb and well choreographed. It simply flowed perfectly. They played for about 2:10, but I wish they had played twice that. And one thing that made it all the more fun, was that all five members on stage were having a blast the entire time. For me, this was a dream concert. ARW is now the actual Yes (in my opinion), and this is a concert that I'll never forget.

The show was absolutely fantastic. Jon Anderson's singing was great. His voice can still make you melt and he was able to hit all the high notes. I think sometimes, the music drowned him out though. This might have been a mike issue. Rick Wakeman was out of this world. Nothing slows him down and his playing is, as always, perfection. This is the first time I heard Trevor Rabin, Lee Pomeroy and Louis Molino. All great but I was floored by Trevor and Louis. Trevor Rabin has definitely made a huge fan out of me. We sat in the front row, which my husband needed since he is legally blind. We were told we could take pictures, no flash and no video. Unfortunately, I sat next to Mr. Anderson's wife and she told me I couldn't take pictures with my camera, only my cell phone. After a little back and forth, I did not want to start any trouble, I put the camera away. I proceeded to take crappy pictures with my lousy cell phone and got bad pictures. So my husband, who couldn't see them even from the front row, never got to "see" them after the concert through my pictures. What a disappointment. I was also a bit disappointed in the Meet and Greet package. They said you could not bring anything to sign so we assumed they would have a shirt or a poster in the gift package. When we got there, they said you could have anything you want signed. When I told them they said nothing brought in, she said that's an old paper they sent. Just give them your little VIP lanyard. So we proceeded to buy a poster and a t-shirt for them to sign after spending $750 on a ticket. They had us come at 3. We had our pre-party, meet and greet, picture and sound check. It was about 5:15, so they made us leave and come back at 7, get back on line, get our bags re-checked and than get in. Why not have the pre-party last so we could have stayed in the building?

These are some of the remaining masters of the day and too soon be all will be gone. The sound of Yes music remains some of the most passionate and gorgeous music I've ever heard. The band was fully immersed in the experience of being there and sharing the night and being received so well. The immense power of Rick's keyboard work, not to mention unbelievable sonic Heights that Jon is still able to reach... if you can take this show in, travel any distance make any sacrifice. Do not miss it!

After attending the recent ARW show in Montclair, I must admit it was very, very good to hear these three X-YES members doing their own thing. For once, I did not seek out a playlist, or videos of prior shows. I wanted to be surprised at the song choices. I'm still waiting. Actually, that's not fair. ARW played mostly YES songs, and a single AWBH tune, borrowing from three of the four albums that Trevor Rabin played with the band on. Throw in the required classics, and you get the idea. Don't get me wrong, they all sounded great! IMO, Awaken was worth the price of admission. Stranely, the only "Solo" sections were from bassist Lee Pomeroy, who did a nice CS tribute with Fish, and also drummer Lou Molino III. To others and myself in the 95% sold out building, the lack of a Rick Wakeman solo treat was a disappointment. However, there wasn't a letdown in regards to Jon's voice. He sounded excellent. It brought a smile to my face to hear him still belt it out. I'd like to see this show again. A new CD would be cool!

Most enjoyable show! Great time, loved that they played Heart of the Sunrise and Awaken. Rick sounded real good, but I would have loved more solos from him. I thought Jon's voice was a bit strained the second half of the show (I thought he was much stronger at the two Anderson-Ponty Band shows I've seen the past year). And while Trevor was good, he's not Steve Howe. But I'm being overly critical. Definitely catch this show, if for no other reason, than to see Rick Wakeman (its been years since he's toured in the US, who knows when the next time will be?)

Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman are back! Trevor Rabin is good, original for Talk album but he is not Steve Howe. His different guitar technique is enjoyable for sure. When I went to Wakeman's solo show in 2006, he said that it was his last performance in USA. Since then I saw him twice more at PA. I wish he comes again and again. Rick and Trevor's jamming under the stage, walking in the aisle and interacting with fans were an exciting moments. Rick Wakeman made the songs of Talk album greater! I went to Yes' album tour last summer which was a great show. If there was not Steve Howe, it would be a tribute show. Currently Yes and ARW are two distinct bands who play the same Yes songs with different version and it's hard to say which one is better. I went to ABHW show in 1989 when there was another group called Yes lead by Chris Squire. 2 years later the two bands got all together, had a tour called Union. Now there are Yes and ARW, I wish they get together again and have a reunion tour someday like they did for Union tour.

Who knows how many more opportunities we'll get to see Anderson and Wakeman together. As for Rabin, whose career is more about creating soundtracks, than playing guitar for YES, this could be his YES victory lap. Long time YES fans will enjoy several Rabin era tracks that Steve Howe won't be playing anytime soon. Anderson sounded surprisingly good, and Wakeman made the job on the keyboards look like child's play. Enjoy them while you can.

It was an honor to see ARW together. I was in the 11th row from the stage and I witnessed greatness. Let me start with Anderson. He was the biggest surprise of them all, cause his voice was in top shape. Few years ago when he fell ill I remember that his voice showed signs of decline afterwards. This is no longer the case. He was singing in clarity and did not shy away from the high notes. Everybody around me was astonished at his performance. Rabin played well, and his guitar was well balanced to each song. Might I add that Rabin's voice was right there with Anderson in back vocals and lead. Wakeman who came out with a cape brought his A game. I have to give honorable mention to Lee Pomeroy who played bass, and to me is the Chris Squire replacement. Louis Molino III had more of a Bruford approach on drums rather than the bombastic Allan White. Anderson, Rabin, Pomeroy, and Molino III did excellent back vocals. Probably the best I have ever heard from YES music. The concert was refreshing, cause they did some songs from the 90125 band period which I miss so much. YES has disregarded the 80's and 90's catalog since Rabin left and it's an era that cannot be ignored. The arrangements of each song was reinterpreted to an energetic level. Also hearing songs like The Meeting from the AWBH album was a nice surprise. The bottom line is that ARW are more YES than the YES band. Without Anderson there is no YES. You add Wakemans wizard hands, and then Rabin's mastery in the mix what you get is a 21st century YES band.

We saw ARW (Anderson, Rabin, Wakeman) at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, NC on Sunday 10/9. The show was absolutely unbelievable. Jon Anderson's vocals are still clear and strong, the musicianship was top notch and the acoustics were great. We upgraded to the VIP package which made things extra special. I would have liked more time with them at the backstage Meet and Greet but it was great to meet them nonetheless. I highly recommend you check them out on this tour. The setlist is heavily Yes. WOW, It's been 12 years since we have been graced with Yes music from Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman who were part of the classic Yes quintet configuration back in 04. As for Trevor Rabin it's been 25 years dating back In the Union days when Yes toured as an 8 member group. This ensemble breathes new life into those glorious Yes songs of yesteryear. We had front row seats directly in front of Rick Wakeman. We enjoyed the music and showmanship so much that we will be going again at the Hard Rock Live, Wednesday in Hollywood Florida. We thought the light show was very weak compared with what Yes had on their summer tour. The show scheduled for the sixth was postponed until the 12th because of the Hurricane. Very good for us. Check out this tour if it gets to a City nearby. Great interpretations of classic Yes songs from the past. Must see for real Yes fans. We appreciate having had the opportunity to experience all the various Yes configurations, over the years. This Group and tour is very special to those of us who have seen the perpetual change.

I went to this show with great expectations. Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman, once more confirmed to be the great musicians and performers that they are. Bassist Lee Pomery and drummer Louis Molino III were superb. Jon Anderson greeted the public in Mikey Mouse's gloves!!! The opening was whit "Cinema", then came "Perpetual Change", "Hold On", "I've Seen All Good People", "And You And I", "The Rithm of Love", a Jon solo with "Alone without You", "Awaken", "Long Distance Runaround", "Roundabout", Jon and Rick with a song from their album "The Tree of Love", "Heart of the Sunrise", "Owner of a Lonely Heart", and "Starship Trooper". As a "hard core"YES fan, I was blown away. Amazing!!!

Being that it was the first show of the tour and Jon, Rick and Trevor have some kinks to work out, the show was fabulous. If not for the hurricane, I would have driven to Clearwater to see them at Ruth Eckard tonight. I've seen both Yes/ARW and the recent lineup of Yes/Official twice. It's a complete shame that the two bands couldn't mend fences for their 50th anniversary, at least for a one-off Union II type tour, particularly after the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Sadly bitterness won over forgiveness. Especially ironic for Jon Anderson considering the lyrics he's written. I was stunned that the Yes/ARW show they cut out the Steve Howe solo acoustic parts at the beginning of "And You and I" and at the end of "Awaken." That's just so petty and an insult to the fans. The lineup: Jon Anderson is the heart of Yes of course, and his voice is central to Yes music \u2014 but I think like him less as a person than I used to. His hanging on to pettiness doesn t seem Yes-like. I like that Louis Molino s drum playing is reminiscent of Bill Bruford, something we haven t heard live in ages. Lee Pomory seems intent on proving he's a virtuoso, and he does. But lacking the charm and stage presence of Squire, there is a big hole in the Bass department at an ARW show. I like Trevor Rabin s happy attitude, and I like his playing on the songs from his era, but I wish he would pull out an acoustic guitar for the appropriate parts on the older songs. It bugs me when he plays them electric. Wakeman, I'm a fan, always enjoy him, his personality and his playing even when he's way over the top. I give Yes/ARW a slight edge over the current Yes/Official, but mostly I'm just bummed they won't make up, get together and give us a truly fulfilling Yes experience.

Let's face it, if you've seen the group before they split up...you'd feel each of the current Yes bands are limited, just don't have the sonic & emotional intensity and truth of the real Yes... But I've seen both bands a few times..I'd take ARW-Yes any day...the other Yes just sounds and feels like a cover band (and not as good as The Machine does Pink Floyd). You can not substitute Jon or Steve...for Trevor and the new Jon...such a disappointment each time.If Rick is not available we'll take Patrick Moraz...a totally new bass player needed too. Ans let's not have nine musicians on the stage.

If you want to see train wrecked versions of your fave Yes songs, go see ARW. If you want to see them played correctly, go see Yes. The only reason to go see ARW is to see Trevor Rabin, as he does not do solo tours anymore. He is a major talent. But Anderson and Wakeman are a spent force. Pomeroy and Molino are very talented but they've never been in Yes and there are lots of other cheeper cover bands to see which are just as good.

I've seen Jon, Trevor, and Rick 3 times and although we may yearn for the classic Yes line up you"ll find out that if you have Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman, you actually do have Yes. Sure I'd love for Steve Howe to walk onstage and miss Chris Squire but Trevor is more than capable of filling Steve's shoes. Lee and Louis fill in well at bass and drums. It's a show that obviously features the heavenly voice of the legendary Jon Anderson but Yes ARW really functions as a really tight band. Rick Wakeman is still the greatest keyboardist in rock history and I could watch just him play for two hours, truly. I so love this latest incarnation of Yes. I hope to see they many, many times more. Signed Bob A Huge Yes Fan

Two hours of joy. It was an absolute blessing to see Rick and Jon together again. Jon sounded great, cracked a couple jokes but kept the talking to a minimum. Rick is simply the best. Ever. It's never the same when he's not there. I'm a Steve Howe snob and have never had much use for Trevor Rabin, but he was nothing short of fantastic. I was very happy to see them do Changes, my favorite song from his era and he sang it superbly. No Yes show will ever be the same without Chris, but the bassist did a very nice job and the drummer did too. I don't know if I'll ever get to see these guys play again, but if I do I will jump at the chance. You should too.

I saw the other half of Yes with Steve Howe and Alan White earlier in the year. Put the originals together and find a bass player. It seems like they are making Chris Squire irreplaceable and therefore, their set lists are extremely limited. My companion described the concert as "mellow." That is not the band I first remember seeing. What they did, they did well. Anderson was in good voice and Wakeman can still play the Keyboards as well as anybody. But they avoid "Long Distance Runaround" because it leads to the "fish" and other songs that Squire played a major role in. Too many people own the name rights, and this band needs to put their personal issues aside and get together again.

My first sense of foreboding came when a bloated Rick Wakeman entered in a floor-length bedazzled cape and a Prince Valiant haircut. If there were a WWE scout in the audience, he'd have jumped for joy at such an unexpected find. Anderson's first order of business was to soak in all the applause and adulation. Humility? Bah! Such an over-rated commodity! They chose to "entertain" with their most obscure tunes...and not the short version of even one. Nope; we were going to get twenty minutes, minimum, of each song. After all, who wouldn't want to be dazzled by their amazing, unparalleled abilities to jam...and jam...and jam. At least Trevor Rabin performed with actual talent on his instrument. Wakeman scuttled the various collection of keyboards with his sausage fingers doing flowery runs that sounded more like Hanon warm-ups than actual musicianship. And Anderson? He clinked two finger symbols together while over-exaggerating facial expressions in an attempt to convey that he was a virtuoso. HIs two techniques on the 12" tall white porta-harp were equally fabulous: The Wax on/Wax off swipe like Mr. Miaggi taught the Karate Kid, and then a Lobster-Claw contrary motion jerk. Oy. Later, he strummed and strummed on an acoustic guitar with his right hand while his left remained clamped above one fret line and moved not one millimeter the entire time. The drummer had a turn beguiling us with a frenzied jam session, as well, and even the bass player had some solo time with which to anoint us all with his amazingness. Wakeman capped off the evening by actually coming down from his On-High position and allowing us Commoners to see him close up. Just magical that we could be treated to such an honor. We didn't bother with the Encore. The only positive was that we got our tickets at the Two-Fer rate...which, thinking back on it, should have been our first Red Flag that they weren't going to be the band we loved from decades past.

Jon A certainly doesn t look or sound his age. His voice is STILL crisp, beautiful and just mystical. The drummer was so good-Have been to 20+ YES shows and he just really stood out his time. Found the band appeared to be enjoying the audience and performing-They seemed to be thrilled they were still able to fill a venue with their unmistakable talent. My only objection is that in all the shows-At least the more recent ones that I can remember the entire show and set list: Starship Trooper has only been played once-The last song at Janus Landing in Tampa, Florida. It was absolutely wonderful hearing ARW live again (last time I heard them was the Union tour). Jon Anderson's & Trevor Rabin's voices soar as if no time has passed. I was in awe of the vocals. My wife & I took bets and yep, Rick Wakeman was caped! For 2 hours we were treated to tour of Yes history up through Trevor's tenure. We heard gems like 'Awaken', 'Heart of the Sunrise', 'Perpetual Change' & 'Rhythm of Love'. The finale & encore had the venue on its feet with ''Owner of a Lonely Heart' and 'Roundabout'. The playing was tight - 'backup' band of Lee Pomroy (Bass) & Louis Molino (Percussion) were superb. Yes.... Lee was playing a Rickenbacker most of the night, although left-handed ;) I was particularly curious how someone other than Chris Squire would fit into the mix. Lee did a wonderful job of paying homage to Chris's signature sound and style while also making the it his own. I was very pleased with his performance although it was bittersweet: I really missed Chris's voice. Lee sang many of his backing vocals, but there's something intangible with Jon's/Chris's/Trevor's vocal mix. Now did I mention that Jon's & Trevor's voices were amazing? I'll say it again. Pure WOW! I hadn't actually listened to a lot of Yes music recently. What struck me again that evening was the amazing, uplifting pictures painted by the lyrics. Rick's playing was astounding. I was reminded of how integral his keyboard sound is to 'classic' Yes. His Moog solos left no doubt who was playing - his sound is unique. I really enjoyed Trevor's take on Steve Howe's guitar parts. The spirit and key moments were there, but it was all Trevor. My only 2 complaints were that the sound was unbalanced during the first couple of tunes. The guitar seemed rather muted and the Moog too loud. I thought at first the issue was our seats, but the sound did improve as the night went on. My 2nd complaint is that, even at 2 hours, it was too short for the amazing catalog that is Yes. I would highly recommend this show to any fan.

We drove to this show from Detroit. Well worth the just over 4 hrs. it took to get there. Had been at this venue a few years ago for Jackson Browne, so we knew it was a good place for a concert. YES/ARW did not disappoint. They've improved even more over last years' excellent show, seemingly having so much fun together. You can tell that they've melded as a band. The setlist was a few songs different from last year, and everyone did their job perfectly (except once when Jon came in too soon on a vocal line, corrected, and then put his hands over his face, embarrassed). The rhythm section, Louis and Lee, are top-notch. Trevor seems much more relaxed, he and Rick have some good sections together. Jon is, of course, magical as ever. Hard to believe he's 72. So much energy, and his voice is as good as it ever was. After seeing the 'other' Yes this summer at Yestival, (disappointing show), it is truly clear that this band is by far the real Yes!

Never disappointed with Jon's performances. Terrific voice and stage presence still -- exceeded all expectations when doing the Anderson-Ponty tour. And Rick's keyboarding didn't miss a note -- awesome. But, given that just about no one in the audience was under 65, I thought that the boys would've 'played to the audience' a little more -- i.e., thrown us a few more of the 70's bones that got us all hooked on them and their original prog-rock sounds in the first place (e.g., "Long Distance Runaround," "Starship Trooper," "I've Seen All Good People," etc, etc, etc). Also, not being a guitar player myself, could've done with fewer guitar solos (we knew, after the first 2 or 3, that Trevor still has chops). But, I guess that when you have 3 'headliners,' you have to give each their fair share of the spotlight (both performance- and set-list-wise). Despite the 90's stuff, still worth the 200-mile trip.

Yes was amazing. Andersons voice was spot on, Wakeman was great and Rabin shredded. Amazing show.

I have followed YES on an amazing journey throughout the years from 1973 till the present. I have seen them in all their different phases and Line-ups. Including [ but not limited to their full Line-up back in 1984 {+/-}, when all Members from all the variations of YES took the Stage as one unit]. There were 11 people on stage I believe. It is a pity Chris Squire passed and Steve Howe didn't want to play. However, Trevor Rabin is a shredder [ surprise ] and can hold his own. Wakeman using the Bass Pedals reminded me of the concerts I had seen in the Seventies at MSG in NYC. How the whole building shook. And Jon, well, he's Jon Anderson, Musician and Vocalist extraordinaire. Whoever played Squires parts and whoever Drummed for Alan White/Bill Bruford, did an outstanding job. This was certainly a YES concert. Not a broke down shadow of a Band from the past. I Recommend if you CAN get tickets , do so. The only thing I was upset about was, they only did one on-core. BUT, they did play for 2.5 hours straight, no intermission and no extra stage talking to the crowd. They were there to entertain and that is what they did. God Bless YES. Last of an ERA that can never be matched in this lifetime. Going for the One say's it all. Salute' .

Never saw a Yes concert and they were one of my early favorites and always spin the Yes Album, Close to the Edge, and my favorite Fragile. Debated about going as it was pricey through Ticketmaster. Concerned also being 70+ years old and with that high range that Jon Anderson perhaps would be a shell or echo of that beautiful tenor. Figured maybe they were on a cash run and just trying to pad some bank accounts. Stand corrected. Anderson was in fantastic voice and his performance was wonderful. He was wonderful to listen to and his voice soared effortlessly the entire night. Mr. Rabin and Wakeman played great and Trevor is a much better guitarist than I assumed. Being a boomer I feel that without Howe, Squire, and Bruford you would be hard pressed to even come close to some of those classic songs but the entire band played great and with wonderful energy. A very captivating performance.

YES with Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman and band knocked it out of the part at the Palace. A perfect venue for this show. Lights, sound and band worked in coordination to bring us the music of YES in all it's majesty. Jon voice sung to the heavens. Great. Trevor was insane on lead guitar and Rick was the best as usual. Thank you.
