EDBD 25 was rockin'! I've been to this festival several times and it just keeps getting better! WJRR, LT & Mel Taylor, are the hardest working women alive. They never fail to please with the EDBD Bash, year after year. Shinedown rocked the night, but it was a full day of amazing bands and good times with friends. Can't wait to see who they bring to Orlando next year.

Shinedown rocked the house!! Three Days Grace amazing! Seether fantastic! Was a great time.
While the line up was not as stellar as usual, Sevendust definitely rocked the house! I wish they would have let them play longer though! Not a big fan of all the fat chicks that got body paint, I could have gone my whole life without seeing that!!! Hollywood Undead is the worst thing I have ever seen! I have no idea how they made it to the mainstage at EDBD! Nonpoint was great though! They should have totally been on the mainstage, they're too good to be a Side stage band.

Of the 4 Earthday Birthdays I've gone to, the lineup for this one was my least favorite. I understand that the radio station is at the mercy of the bands that are touring in the area at the time, but WJRR did its best. Sevendust was awesome. Coheed & Cambria was alright (no crowd interaction), Psychostick was awesome. Nonpoint Rocked. VIP tickets were definitely worth it. Good Food, Good Bar, Nice Toilets. Had a blast. Hopefully next year some better bands are touring.

Great weather, great venue, a few great bands. This years lineup was not my favorite. It was less metal this year and more light...sort of popular rock. Finger 11 and Coheed and Cambria put us to sleep. All That Remains, Drowning Pool, and Sevendust were amazing. Hopefully the lineup improves next year!

Everything about Earthday Birthday 18 rocked. A Day To Remember's performance was, well, unforgetable. Jeremy McKinnon went all out when he crowd surfed in a giant inflatable ball.

It is about time to see them as headliner, they have always been there every year, and are soo soo good..... Loved Drowning Pool and Non Point......... some others not so hot, but I am getting older, and love the older rock and roll...

While it was super hot, the line up was fantastic and the headliner, Sevendust put on a perfect show. I would have liked to listen to him sing more and less the crowd but they interacted well. The native noise sound was also top of the line and I found some phenomenal local bands that I will certainly hear again!

First of all, I am glad to hear about the return of Taco Bob and Pat Lynch. Second of all, I wish you would get rid of LT. She is all around annoying and whenever I hear her on the radio I immediately change the channel to Q96 Classic Rock 96.5. Third, the bands were awesome, however I think Drowning Pool was clearly not happy to be there. There was very little energy. And Finally, I am a non-smoker with asthma. My boyfriend and I paid for VIP tickets and yet were spent the day practically in a cloud of second hand smoke and are both now sick. We would love to go again next year and the following years as my boyfriend has been going to your Earthday Birthdays since they began, but unfortunately I don't see that happening unless you can set up smoking areas, ESPECIALLY for VIP. I figure if we are going to pay that much for VIP treatment, the least we should have to worry about is being stuck sucking on second hand smoke all day. Other then that, the bands were awesome, and everything else was awesome, and we would really love to go again next year. P.S. Review seats, we had VIP and it was okay except for all the smokers, yuck

Drowning Pool needs to headline EDBD. There fan appreciation was awesome and music rocks. Pop Evil was great as well as Finger 11. I would love to see better bands. All that remains was a huge disappointment to me. When he wasn't yelling and screaming his regular singing was distorting and hard to understand. Sevendust was good as expected. Over all my VIP experience was great but most of the bands were not worth seeing again for me. I plan on going to EDBD 19 if some better bands are there and a killer headliner. Disturbed would be awesome with Avenge Sevenfold, and Shinedown.

Solid A-list of bands but the line-up didn't flow quite right. Coheed and Cambria cannot play as direct support to a headliner as hard as Sevendust. The crowd was falling asleep after a long day of bands. The show has to build in power. Overall, the bands were great and the crowd was definitely into it!

This was the best EDBD I have been to the weather was amazing and the bands were awesome. The only thing I think needs to be changed is that I don't feel water should cost $3 it really needs to be $1 it is to hot to charge that price and to many people don't drink enough water due to this and I know they are making a big enough profit on it as it is.

Overall, it was a solid show. The one thing I had an issue with was having the two stages so far apart, and the sets overlapping. They could have been closer together. Other than that, it was a great day. I took my two nieces, it was their first ever concert!
I attend alot of concerts. Probably like 3 a month. I always enjoy the ability to see 10 plus bands on a givin day. The venue was solid, the lineup was solid, the audio was great as well. All of these factors played a part in the experience as a whole.
Thanks wjjr for another great day of rock n roll loved nonpoint,Seether, three days grace and had a great time with powerman 5000. Can't wait for next year
I received many emails before the event about what to expect, they left out the most important information, how to get into the event. We went through the gates and security with our fast pass like everyone else. Only to arrive at the VIP section and told to go all the way back out. There was only one UNMARKED tent outside the gates for VIP. There were 50+ people in line in front of 3 overwhelmed young girls. MASS CONFUSION!! Even after they found our name and shirt information on the list they were unable to find our "event bags". This went on and on with over 1/2 the people in line and took us over 40 minutes! How hard is it?!?! I understand that people requested different sizes of shirts but there are better ways to handle crowds!! DEPLORABLE!!! Once they find the information, get the correct shirt and put it into a pre-made bag! How hard is it?!?! The manager got so frustrated she started yelling at everybody and gave out her personal email so she could resolve problems later. UNBELIEVABLE!!! VIP tickets are not cheap, I have come to expect a little more, but this ruined the experience. How hard is it?!?! WJRR really needs to get their s*%t together!!
When we got to the venue no one knew where the line for general admission was. Finally they all got on the same page. Then when we got into the event we were told that you had to purchase tickets to buy food and drink. Any time you asked a person who worked at the venue, whether it was security or someone at a booth, they would redirect you to three other people till you were able to get an answer. The speaker on the main stage had some issues. I felt it was very unorganized and although the line up was great I don't know if I'd go to another one.
Me & my best friend were visiting from New Mexico & had a major blast!! A lot of fun, cool people, & all bands were awesome!! Wish I got a tee shirt haha.
Seether, Three Days Grace and Shinedown were amazing! All the cigarette smoking in my face was nasty. No food trucks or drinks open after the show. Would be nice to grab a bottle of water on the way out. Helicopter rides over our heads for hours was also sort of annoying. Parking was weird, had to drive through a million fences and fields, it was easy getting out though.
The concert compared to last year seemed to have fewer bands. The only downside to the EDBD concert experience is food and drinks were pretty expensive for what you got. It would be nicer if food and drinks were a little more reasonable price wise.
Long time listener of 101.1, first time at Earthday Birthday. It was amazing and would definitely go again. Also the VIP tickets were worth the cost. The perks of free food, drinks, separate area, more private bathrooms, broadcast area and viewing area made my experience top notch.
The evening was a blast. Had a great time. Only thing I would change is the ability to leave and come back in. It got cool as the sun went down and it would be nice to go grab a jacket from the car. I would also have better traffic control leaving the grounds. It was chaos.
The concert was great. The venue was great.Only thing not so great was alcohol choices and having to but tickets to purchase anything. Never know if you get to many or to little. Luckily the end of the night I had extra and found someone who wanted more so I sold them.
The entry for VIP was different than in the past and was a very long wait. As normal, entertainment was absolutely incredible. Unfortunately the food was almost inedible. I have never seen so much food being thrown away. I realize Hard Rock was trying to be more healthy but it was NOT good. We actually had to buy other food which kind of sucks since that is part of the VIP pricing. Don't know why we did not have Porky's again (their food is awesome) but we do hope you can get them back next year. All and all, we had a great time, but are really looking for better food next year.
That's truly amazing was the second time I've been will definitely go back the bands are absolutely amazing the vendors are awesome everybody so friendly Stacks are awesome bathrooms cool food was awesome so much to see so much to do definitely worth the money will definitely come back will definitely bring more people will definitely tell everybody thank you birthday birthday 25
when we finally got there in time for Fozzy,it was going well...did NOT enjoy $20 parking fee...BUSH,3 Days Grace,Seether,(especially Seether) were the bomb...also overpriced watered down drinks and ran out of event tees early, should be more than one trailer for tees also...overall just fine...music was great
The venue is just as you would expect an outdoor venue to be. My biggest complaint is the stupid monopoly money they make you use to buy food and drinks, none of the vendors take cash or card and the ATM takes a $5 service charge. As well, alot of the drinks are odd prices in hopes that you have leftover tickets that you don't spend. This was my first and probably my last time going.
This was the first year in 11 years I did not attend VIP - sold out quickly. The bands were amazing! Bush's Gavin Rossdale comes out into the crowd, not once, but twice! Seether, first time seeing them, rocked the entire time leading up to Shinedown. AMAZING!! The food trucks this year were delicious - highly recommend BYOB - Bring Your Own Bowl's food. They had an Asian bowl, all cost $12, and it was the best thing I've eaten there in a long time. This is one of best rock shows in Central Florida!!
This was my first EDBD and it will definitely not be my last. The lineup was incredible. I would definitely recommend VIP tickets because the free food, soda, water, and location of the VIP tent to the stage was well worth it. I did make my way up to the front of the stage for a few of the acts and that was awesome even though people can get a bit pushy up there. It s worth it if you can handle it though. I wanted to see every band so I didn t have time to enjoy the other activities like the camel ride, helicopter, or the chill zone. Maybe next year.
This event was the most fun I've had in a long time! All of the bands were on point! Three Days Grace, Seether and Shinedown were amazing!! I was really impressed by the energy that Powerman 5000 brought! I loved that Jesse from 10 Years was crowd surfing and leaned on my friend to get to the crowd!! I will definitely be going next year!!
Concert and lineup itself was awesome!! Great lineup for sure! We always love EDBD, but this year when it came to sound and the VIP food choice, we were just disappointed. Especially after dropping over $300 for VIP. Sound/audio quality for the bands though was horrible. I think the sound finally was on point when the headliner performed, which was at the end. Venue is meh. We got VIP again, but this year the VIP food offered wasn t good. The food trucks offered a fresher wider variety then the VIP food. Which were burgers for lunch, then sliders (aka mini burgers) for dinner. Only thing good was the mac n cheese. And no dessert offered this year. Not really a variety, and the quality wasn t the best. They should ve stuck to BBQ, cause you can t go wrong with that. I thought it was cool that the venue had a variety a food trucks versus your typical carnival food. If you don t care about VIP, or any of that, then NBD. Still a great time.
The vendors that sell the drinks and alcohol are all great however the margaritas served in the buckets should be sold at the vendors stations to the public not just in the VIP area last year 2016 it was sold to the public.
Every year is amazing. WJRR puts a lot of effort into making the event a special unforgettable day. I will be returning as long as they keep the shows coming.
This was my first EDBD and i have to say it was phenominal!! All of the bands sounded great and the people for the most part got along. I am 53 yrs old and I took my 2 sons and we had a great time! We will be back next year and hopefully many years to come.
As always a great event. Glad to see no waiting lines for food, beverages or restrooms. The fair rides were a blast and the people watching was VERY interesting. I had never seen FROM ASHES TO NEW. They were the Best! Loved hearing Flyleaf singer solo acoustic as well. All the bands were great and showed up to perform. Thanks JRR for another great time! See you next year :)
I frequent many concerts each year and I must say this one was great. It was the oddities offered that made it stand out. A free midway of fun carnival rides, helicopter rides, body painting and lots of vendors. Come to find out there was a third stage which was acoustic in the "Chill Zone". Motorcycle in the ball-wild. The band lineup was well chosen.

The band lineup this year wasn't that great... there were a couple bands worth driving 3 hours for when you include the fact that Earthday Birthday is always just a fun place to hang out and party and people watch as well as check out some bands. This is the 6th year in a row I've gone and the lineups seem to have gotten worse. I didn't even stay for the whole thing. I got my ticket 3 days prior for free from someone on Facebook that couldn't go, otherwise, I would not have paid $90, considering the drive and gas. I had fun but I hope they have better bands next year. They offer a presale before bands are announced and tickets are half price. For $35 plus fees, I might just take a gamble on it next year. That would have been ok.

I only got there after 6pm due to having to work, but I loved every bit of my time there. Was my first EDBD and I cant understand why I never went sooner. Only one thing I didn't really like was the having to purchase tickets for buying drinks. I'm sure there is a good reason behind it but when I realized I would have tickets left over ($15.00) I just gave them to a friend cause I couldn't get my money back from what I could tell. Maybe I was wrong and could have but I didn't know about it. Other than that it was awesome!

Edbd was awesome. Great Bands, Great People. VIP was worth it. Free water and soda was priceless. The vip only restroom was good. The Vip food was good. The bud light golden ticket food was not. The food was looking too much in the food safety zone. The soda wasnt free on the bud light vip. Thankfully I had both vip passes. Otherwise was the best!!!! It would have been more awesome if the bands had signings. I got a picture with Adrian Patrick!!!

With a huge line up for such a cheap price it's a wonder all of central Florida wasn't there. Most of the bands were mainstream and sounded just as good live as they do recorded.... IF NOT BETTER. Hail the Villain had a fill in singer and still sounded great. I was impressed with the shows put on my most of the bands who asked for a lot of crowd participation making the event all around fun for everyone in attendance. The WJRR crew continued to come out in between bands to hand out free stuff and announce what was happening. Shirt prices weren't to bad with the norm about $25. Body painting was a bit hit however it was hit or miss as some not so nice looking women partook in it. It is open to both males and females which seemed to be understated. A general feeling for the crowd was very accepting and everyone tried to take care of each other in the Florida heat. During mosh pits if someone went down everyone stopped and helped that person up. There were signs that stated no moshing/crowd surfing but that was quickly overruled by the countless people(myself included) doing so. Rules are for fools as one man used to say. The only negative things are food and beverage prices which range from $3 a water to $6 a beer and $6-9 for food. There was also heavy marijuana use and just about every where you went you could smell the use of the illicit drug, however I feel that it comes with the territory and didn't mind it too much. Last but not least the set times were pretty much running Main Stage off Second stage on so you felt rushed walking about 200 yards to watch the other band. Off site parking which right across the street in a privately owned lot cost $20. Seemed like there was tons of space for parking available but it was open only to permit holders. Absurd if you ask me.

It is hard to pick a favorite band- because they were all great. Shinedown though was absolutely amazing.
Been attending EDBD for over 20 years and have watched the event steadily decline every year. Every year there are less & less bands, and very few headlining, quality bands overall. I've also noticed the concert ends earlier & earlier each year. No one goes to this type of event to ride fair rides so they need to focus back on a quality line-up instead of this carnival type event. It's starting to turn into a county fair with only one or two great bands that are expected to carry the whole day.
Came all the way from California for this one. Great venue- just needed more shade. Food was excellant and line was not to long for beer. Didn't like the tickets for food and drink. Used to paying cash or debt. Great line up of bands and could get as close as you wanted. Mix of younger and older people. Bring a sheet or blanket for sitting. Not to far of a walk between stages. Didnt think carnival rides and beer and lots of sun were a great mix.
If you're looking for a good deal to see your favorite rock bands, WJRR's Earthday Birthday did the trick. Plenty of your favorites like Trivium, Bush, Halestorm, Breaking Benjamin, etc. Plenty of space to rock out. The only thing is that it was outside so people who were filthy dirty to begin with became even worse as the day went on.
It wasn't quite the blow out event it has been the last 2 years but the bands were solid and rocked. Heard some new bands that I really liked New Year's Day, Dorothy and Cilver and all fronted by females. Halestorm delivered a great show and I am really glad I saw them. The main stage which was the Rock Pink stage was dominated by the B's bush and Breaking Benjamin who I think should have been the headliner . The fireworks were phenominal.
Bush, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin put on great sets. You could get within 15 feet of the stage so the view was perfect. I'm glad they switched EarthdayBirthday from Tinker Field to the Central Florida Fairgrounds because there is more room for the stages, crowd, and vendors. Keep it up WJRR!
This year I wanted to be in the pit for almost every band. They were all great! The problem was the set times overlapped and the stages were too far apart to go back and forth easily. Halestorm was one of my favorites, so I had to cut off the end of Bush to get there. Then I stayed till the last song so I missed the first part of Chevelle and couldn't get as close to them as I would have liked. I thought 311 was not as good as most bands before them. Breaking Benjamin or Chevelle could have done a better job closing. I also would have put halestorm on the main stage and dirty heads on the other stage.
Breaking Benjamin was my fav even though Bush jumped into the crowd and started rocking out with the fans! There was a lot more venues then last year and the new stage sounded bad ass!!
Another great EDBD. Great lineup and atmosphere. Got there around 1 to check out the venue the acoustic stage reminded me of a warehouse and didn't stick around long. Did a few rides and saw the motorcycle globe performers which were excellent. Then the bands. Bush started around 5 and were awesome! Then we missed Halestorm cause they were on the second stage and really wanted to to see chevelle again. Wasn't their best performance but breaking Benjamin and 311 rocked it and had a great time.
Had a great time! VIP was worth the extra money! Loved Porkie's BBQ that was served! Loved the Friday Night Fiasco, too! What a great deal & perk! Was VERY disappointed that they only took cash for food, drinks, etc....
I just can't say enough about how freaking awesome this show was, from the parking to the attendants and everyone there...fan-freaking-tastic WJRR sure knows how to host a festival. I had VIP tickets and will never go again without it!! Private bathrooms, two meals and free water all day...who could ask for more. Can't wait for next year....count down begins now.
My daughter and I had a great time at EDBD 23! We feel the opening act, New Years Day, is well on their way to being a headliner someday. We loved the staggered set times and were able to see most everyone we wanted to. The Chill Zone was a fabulous addition and we loved seeing Trapt and Drowning Pool doing acoustic sets. We especially enjoyed Trivium, Halestorm, Bush, Chevelle and Breaking Benjamin! Breaking Benjamin stole the show in our opinion. The midway rides and the fireworks made it fun!
Had a great time. I mostly went for Halestorm, Breaking Benjamin, and 311. The other bands were really good too. I have celiacs so I can't eat gluten. I was worried about the no outside food. I contacted wjrr and they were great about it. Made sure I could bring food for myself.
