Resolution

I have been to many raves over the course of two years. As many of the raver fanatics know, this obviously isn't comparable to Gorge events, EDC, music fest, etc. but it certainly is awesome to go blow off some steam and have a great time with friends and family for the holiday! Decorations are phenomenal and the line up this year was not half bad either. (not as good as last years in my opinion, BUT still great) I really enjoyed the staff as well, lenient yet firm when someone was going to far. Excellent service in my opinion. All around, this was a great set up they did and I hope to go back next year as well!

Resolution was lovely! amazingly fun! and beautiful. The decor was awesome, I enjoyed being greeted by four lovely steam punk angels. The line up was phenomenal. The only thing.. the Biggest concern I had and the most devastating new I received that night was my favorite DJ's, my idols, my gods, were unable to show. I understand the situation. The only issue I had with this was I specifically payed for my ticket to see Above&Beyond. I would have never gone or bought my ticket if I knew they were never going to show up. PLEASE take this fact into consideration and understand that hundreds of people were in my position. It is one thing if a side act isn't able to show, but the headliners? This will not be forgotten.

Amazing people and great music made my night only problem was security bugging u every five seconds if u sat down to rest ur feet

Resolution was fantastic! Between the great line up including Figure, The M Machine, Knife Party, etc., and the wonderful decorations, I could not have been happier with my New Years Eve celebration. The performers walking around are always fun to see as well. I highly recommend Resolution to anyone who has a passion for EDM culture and dancing. Thank you so much USC for the great New Year!

This show was absolutely fantastic and was a great way to ring in the new year. There were a couple of negatives which I'll cover in a moment, but first, the good stuff. WAMU theater is fantastic. From arrival and parking on, the venue is first class. And if you're a fan of good sound, look no further, as the sound here is fantastic. We bought VIP tickets and the VIP treatment was definitely great. The private bars/coat check and all the sitting areas were really nice for an 8hr event. We're not as young as we once were, so this type of stuff is a big deal. The center VIP platform was awesome too, as it provided a great view, a bar with minimal lines, and lots of seating. All the artists were excellent, although I must admit I wasn't a great fan of Emma Hewitt being chosen to bring in the new year. Her set came off a bit like an aerobics routine, and she just didn't seem to bring the energy I wanted for the turn of the year. The only other negative for me was a very big one, but not the fault of the event. Above & Beyond was unable to make it to the event due to weather issues, and of all the great artists at the show, A&B was who I wanted to see most. I was horribly disappointed by the fact that they couldn't make it through no fault of their own.

The headliners Above and Beyond didn't show up!! Went all the way from California. Definitely need some money back!

all the artists had great performances although i was disappointed that Above and Beyond wasn't able to play. security at the entrance was a breeze, but taking our shoes off? were not at the airport....

Obviously everyone else is going to complain about A&B, frankly that was beyond your control. +The multiple water stations was great, thank you for letting us keep caps again this time. +All the ushers/white shirts were great, very active at stopping smokers. +wonderful job with the atmosphere and decorations +I didn't use them, but I know people were stoked about the bleachers. also keeps people from sitting down in the middle of the dance floor. -bathroom lines were huge, I think the extension into the stadium like at freaknight would be a better setup because then you'd get a few extra restrooms. -entry line was a nuisance.

Above & Beyond didn't show. I'm expecting a partial refund or a large discount for when they are re-booked later this year.

The show was amazing overall. I loved the water stations and how easy and quick it was to fill my water bottle. By doing this, USC literally saves lives and I love it. The only problem was that the second headliner didn't show, and USC just didn't say anything about it. Pretty low if you ask me.

Finally show with multiple entrances and high volume water stations. The bathrooms will always be a disaster, this goes without saying with our typical concert crowd. But the layout always brings a new and exciting environment for everyone to cut loose and have an amazing time. Placing the VIP area directly in front of, and elevated in front of the view of the bleacher seating was a bit irrational. VIP should be kept off to the sides and let the real EDM lovers have their floor. Other than that the experience as a whole was fantastic and all the staff was very appreciated and helpful. The energy was so high in anticipation for above & beyond- not to mention the rest of the great line up. As 1:30 came to pass, then 2 came along a major sadness rolled through the event knowing above & beyond would not be making it. No announcement, no apology, nothing. That is disappointing. All we could do was take to twitter to get updates. This isn't right. Sure maybe they will play another show in Seattle, but Some of us drove hundreds of miles for this show. Please take in to account that another show may not be a possibility for all of us. Time to make things right.

Had the best night of my life!! I would definitely go again and recommend to all my friends!! The performances by the different bands was terrific and the overall setting was breath taking!! Would love to watch again!!

It was wonderful! USC killed it as always! I always enjoy going to Seattle and seeing what USC has to bring! I would recomend this to everyone!

AMAZING show! USC did a much much better job this time around. getting into the venue was a breeze. But, as always, there could have been more water fountains available in the venue so that there woul be less of a wait to get water.

All I have to say was time capsule was awesome! the other stage sucked hard! no effort was put into it and all the mediocre artist played on that side. if your trying to gain a following or boost your fan base. Go all out! could've been much, much better for $85.50. almost one hundred dollars for what? a couple big names... probably wont go next year. line up was average.

Doctor P was great! I definitely had a great time. I appreciated the pat down search and ID check so that no stupid people carrying weapons or under 18 were able to get in. I was able to have some nice worry free fun because of that.

The New Year has never come in with such a bang!, boom!, wawa! or wobble! - or at least for myself. What a perfect way to celebrate the past year and a new beginning. Between all the bass bumps and all the energy brought by both artists and event-goers alike, the night was pure bliss.

The set from LA Riots to Rusko was amazing. They played a variety and were awesome with the crowd.

This was my first rave and I LOVED IT. The people were so amazing and the bass was unforgettable . If you have never been to a rave before better go ASAP!!! People are so accepting and everyone gets along with you!

Don't get me wrong, Rusko and Cosmic Gate killed it! They definitely made my show. Otherwise the music was decent, a bit too trappy for me. The event itself was way over hyped, white and gold? The only white and gold I saw was the sulfuric smelling confetti and midnight and the crowds overall attire. Speaking of which, if you attend one of these events with the intentions of hooking up with a stranger, gross, most parents would be ashamed by what they would see their children doing at these indoor rave events, particularly USC events. Otherwise the event felt very black, dark and trappy. It was certainly an experience, done with raves, too many sheeple, not enough individuals... Festivals here I come!!!

Best New Years ever!!!!! So much fun, good artists, and good dancing.

This was my first rave and it was literally everything I wanted it to be! I felt like I was in a movie because every single part of it was so perfect! I met a ton of people and at one point even went on someone's shoulders to dance! It was such an amazing night and by far the best way to ring in the new year! If you weren't there, you missed out!

The Stage setup, Lighting, Sound were so amazing and setup and operated very professionally. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I have been to several events like Resolution 2013 at the WaMu Theater and this one was amazing!

Great crowd, if its only have better Lineup i would love to give 5 stars.

Compared to the previous USC events I have attended, this was just ok. The music was not consistently good and for a new year event and the price of ticket, it wasn't up to the mark. It just proved that a great artist line up is must for this kind of events to be worth it. I'm not going to any USC event unless one of my favorites is performing.

The best way I can put this is over all resolution was amazing

For my first time at a rave this was the best first experience! Cant wait to go to more. Running on the Time Capsule stage was a bonus xD

Quick, easy security and entry, amazing artists, decent layout, prices for concessions werent too bad at all, sick lights, lots of people. great environment.

It was definally a night to remeber. The music was amazing i couldnt stop dancing. Best new year eve ever!

Resolution was an unforgettable event! It was my first ever rave and I absolutely loved it. The music, the lights, the atmosphere, and the lineup was great. Great ending to 2014. Can't wait to see what next year brings! :)

This was my first rave and it was absolutely unforgettable. The staff did a wonderful job of keeping people safe and were conscientious to everyone's needs. Although you had to buy the first water, you could get free refills thereafter. The artists had great energy and transitions were fast and smooth. My eyes were opened to another world, people were friendly and emoted such love for one another. It was a perfect way to start my new year.

so much fun. if you don't go you're missing out. absolutely the best time with friends. unforgettable

Overall a lot of fun! Quick and short lines for will call, security, coat check, etc. were appreciated. Women's restroom doors were taken off the stalls, and frankly I felt like it was degrading, especially after hearing that men's room stalls had doors. I would suggest double sided hinges/locks or curtains if not being able to access a locked door is a concern. Other than the bathrooms, the concert was great! Friendly people, good music, room to dance!

Great venue I love having two stages to choose from when you get tired of one stage or if you don't like what's playing. Sick artists. I want more!!!

I had a great time! However, there were a few things I did not care for. 1) LEAVE bathroom doors on! I had a full body suit on so to use the bathroom I needed to strip it ALL off/down. I do NOT want to pee naked as ppl walk by me. Also post NO phones in bathrooms. Ppl could (and were) easily taking comprising pictures of people because of this. 2) Stand by rules posted!! I read all the rules online before attending. Going threw security I had to throw out NEW sealed items that rules stated I could have. Exs: Chapstick! May seem stupid to complain about but my lips were raw by the end of the event. 3) Post in bathroom area or ANYWHERE that there is a cool down area. Or instruct ppl trying to sitting outside bathroom of the area atleast. I never once was told about the area by staff just to "Not sit down and get up". Forcing me to sit in bleachers which didnt help me cool down. By time a friend told me about the cool down area I was turned away because it was 15min till close! This resulted in me using a trash can to get sick in since I wasn't allow to use the bathroom to puke.. ? This really could have been prevented IF I had know about cool down area. Considering I was drinking tons of water and dancing/jumping around alot. All in All it was still alot of FUN! Just wish it wasn't overly monitored and more helpful staff! I could of just cooled down and been good 2 go.

My friend and I got to Resolution early, it filled up with very quickly. The Music and artists were great especially the ones in in the last 3 hours of partying!

It was fine other than 2 complaints: WaMu, I understand you have to make up for the freaknight death but removing stall doors was excessive. Also, the stages were so close the others' music was heard loudly by the other stage Other than that, good production

Resolution New Years Eve 2015 could not have been better! The entire show had big names and fan favorite locals. The entire Wamu Theatre was packed to the gills with fun loving friendly people. Took a coworker and she said the best part were the random strangers that would high five or hug you. The atmosphere was just that amazing, people were helping eachother out and making sure everyone was having a time. The entire show was crazy from beginning till end.

If you want to have a good time and feel the love from everyone and see the Gods and Goddesses of the world, go.

Resolution was absolutely fantastic. USC did a great job with the decorations this time around and the lines moved extremely fast. The line up was great and they did a fantastic job keeping people happy. It was sad Above & Beyond couldn't make it in time for their set...but, I think USC did a great job overall.

Above and Beyond didn't show. The headliner not showing up was extremely disappointing. Lines for drinks took 25 minutes. The bar tenders were extremely slow and incompetent.

Awesome event but the head liner didn't show that ruined it for me

I went primarily to see Nervo so all in in all it was good, but not $100+ for tickets good. On a side note- the smaller stage was slammen!! And the girls were pretty as always ( thanks lady's ). But overall experience was just average especially for a New Years Party. Next time I will save for Electric Daisy ;-p

The event was beautiful and it was a great NYE party but there are plenty of other NYE parties to go to. I picked this one because of Above and Beyond. If it weren't for them, i wouldn't have probably traveled else where. I've been to enough great parties and these days, am very particular about the DJ's i want to see. I hope they're will be a make up event for this as this was not the first time that USC has let me down!!!!! I will have doubts if i'll go to the next USC if there are other options.

First off I just want to say if I am paying over $100 per ticket for an event, I expect for artists to show up! This is not fair that the main headliner, Above and Beyond, double booked and/or weather conditions prevented them from showing up. I feel like some kind of reimbursement or a credit to our account for a future event is necessary for this incident. Besides from that, the decor inside and the countdown was a major disappointment. The timing was off and the balloons didn't even drop. Nothing special nor memorable. I expected more.

The headlining act, Above & Beyond, did not show up for the event due to bad weather. I chose to attend this event specifically to see them perform and am extremely disappointed that they were not there. Not to mention the fact that the tickets were fairly expensive for a show that ended up not having a headlining act.

Was such a great time!!! One of the best New Years Eve nights of my life!

was a little disappointed that Above and Beyond couldn't play, but overall had a great time. highlights of my night would have to be gladpvck, crizzly, and figure. couldnt imagine a better way to bring in the new year, when the countdown reached zero the vibes were amazing

I had never been to a USC event before and was very excited before hand. I was really worried that I built the night up in my mind and it would not be everything I hopped for but it was SO much better than I expected. Everything seemed well planned and organized. The security was fast and efficient, the water refill stations were super fast, the people were wonderful, and the music was excellent. I was excited to see Above & Beyond perform and was very disappointing that they did not make it but the night was still wonderful without them. I cannot wait to fly back to Washington for Paradiso this summer.

Came in at 9 and hung out at the Time Capsul all night. Every one there was amazing! It was a huge disappointment that Above and Beyond couldn't be there with us, but I thought Johnny Monsoon and Darrius did an incredible job closing the place down! Emma Hewitt brought in the new year beautifully, Knife Party destroyed us with lasers, and Lazy Rich and Adrian Lux killed it. Bummed that I couldn't see Nervo for the third time but I heard they did awesome as usual. All in all Resolution 2014 was an unforgettable night and I can't wait for Lucky!

Resolution featured the m machine, knife party, and figure, all of whom I loved to see. I especially loved the machine, though.

I was looking forward to this event for some time. My wife and I came from Portland, Or. to bring in the New Year. Overall a good event. I really liked Adrian Lux, M machine and Emma Hewitt. But, I came to see Above and Beyond... and that didn't happen. In the end... it was a disappointing evening.

Above and beyond was a reason I came. The rest of the sets were amazing but not being out to see these guys killed my night. Definitely will be more wary of buying tickets in the future but I'm waiting to see what USC works out with A&b

The reason I went was to see Above & Beyond. They didn't show up.

Headliners didn't even show. USC told me I could bring a fiber optic whip only for it to be thrown away at security gate.

Loved the event; however, the artist at midnight doing the live vocals ruined the mood, her voice was unpleasant. The absence of Above & Beyond was unfortunate, but I know USC is making it up somehow, so it's difficult to be too upset.

Above & Beyond 90% why I wanted to go, couldn't make it D: Although the local set at the end was an amazing standin!

While the obvious let down being Above and Beyond having flight complications, the rest of the night was fantastic for my friends and I! We loved M Machine and Knife Party, both were amazing, and Emma Hewitts beautiful voice! We are all very excited to see what you and Above and Beyond come up with for a make up show! Keep being awesome, and we will keep coming to shows. Every Production Company has outside circumstances they cannot control, and we don't blame you for the weather that night. Thank you for everything you do!
