Game was a lot of fun....even though Pelicans lost. Event staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. Be prepared for the usual high price of concessions...paid $4.25 for a 20 ounce Dasani water...no water fountains to be found. Parking in the garage costs a whopping $20. Team t-shirt in gift shop was $35.00. Be prepared for the high cost of extras.

I wasn't sure if my seats in section 317 row 6 would be good ones being so far off the court. They were decent for $35. I would rather get higher seats than sit end court, much better view. The Hornet fans are so into the game which makes it so much fun. My daughters 9 and 12 years old had a blast too.

The game began with a bang and ended with the Hornets on top. The game was a showcase for Chris Paul (CP3) and his unwillingness to let his team fail. CP3 scored 30 points and 19 assists to lead the Hornets to a win. The high pace energy and fanfare was a site. The fan giveaways at the game were well worth the participation and the commentary during the game and timeouts were very interactive and fun. The overall game experience is a shore fire family fun night or an excellent hang out night with friends.

This was my second game to see the Hornets. I had friends from Israel who wanted to see the Kings' Israeli player. He was hurt and did not play. I appreciate all the creativity and efforts that were made to entertain the audience during the game. There is no lack of effort made by the team and the arena to involve the audience. Lots of nice honest attempts to create an entertaining experience. Good luck and continued good wishes!

The game was awsome. This was my son and I first game at the Hive. My son could not stop talking about all the way back home to Zachary, LA. As you know was a 1 1/2 hour drive. I would like to thank everyone involved in the Hornets home opener. I took my 11 son and 5 of friends to the game. It was his 11th birthday, and he had a blast. We arrived early to enjoy the pregame festivities and stayed to the end to do the after game free throws. The entetainment was awesome too. The boys really enjoyed themselves. I can't even begin to explain how exciting the game was. There was never a dull moment. Thanks again to all of you for putting together a wonderful night of family/ friend fun.

The in-game presentation was way too much. There were no pauses between songs during the game. The fans never got a chance to enjoy the game, because there was always someone telling us to clap, make noise, chant, stand up, dance, etc. The music is generic, the same tired old samples that they use in every other culture-less NBA arena. In New Orleans it's a tragedy that they can't get some local music in there.

This was my first real NBA game. Although it was a blowout, i loved getting to see Harden, AD and Boogie (first game as a Pelican) play in the same game. The seats were great. The "perks" of the ticket package (4 free beers) was a little disappointing because I had to find specific general concession stands to redeem the vouchers for a very small beer...although there were many other concession stands around. That is the only reason for the reduction to 4 stars (would actually be 4.5 if i could only reduce by 1/2 star). The rest of the experience was great. The image is the view from Section 124, Seat 4. The pic does not really do it justice. The seats had a great view.

We had a great time at this event! We did the guys night out ticket package which is well worth it! Two tix for the price of one, plus four drink coupons. We had seats in Section 124, row 7 (really row 4 off the floor) for $190 bucks! What a deal!!!

We bought lower arena seats thinking we'd have a good view of the floor. Our view was blocked by cables hanging from the ceiling. We think they were left up after Big Blue Madnessbecause we go to many UK games at Rupp and have never seen those hanging.

Access to the stadium was very easy and parking spaces were available if you arrived on time. I would recommend arriving early, you won't get bored, there is lots of entertainment outside and inside to keep you busy. Going into the stadium was very smooth. It is easy finding your seat and there is enough staff to guide you around. There is lots of food variety. The Pelicans fans are the greatest so you will enjoy their company. The entertainment throughout the game is very good. I just wish we had won.

I thought the game was of very good quality even though it was preseason. The guys played great and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was great to see so many come out and support the teams even a few of the Jaguar players were in attendance. I think it would be good to have a regular season NBA game played here as well from one of the neighboring cities Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, New Orleans or Atlanta. I think the fans enjoyed getting close ups of the teams members and taking pictures and getting high fives. Great Job City of Jax!!! DUUUUVVAALLLLL ROCKS !!!!!!!

Win or lose the Heat always amaze! We drove in from AL. We attended the Heat v Pelicans at the Smoothie area. It was amazing and exciting from before u walked in the doors. There were outdoor activities to watch, food and great music. Everyone was professional from parking to seat attendants to food services workers. Seats were great bathrooms were above standard. The game was a thrill for my whole family. Catch a game or event there wouldn't take a second thought.

The game was fine for a pre-season game; but the Rupp Arena ticket gate entry was a mess. We got lucky and only missed the entire first quarter. The security blamed it on NBA rules but it was clear they were unprepared. The crowd was only 18,000 which is 3/4 capacity, and Kentucky games are always at capacity, so clearly it wasn't too big. At tip off I estimate 10,000 fans were still in the lobby Lexington Center waiting in a "line" to get to security and ticket takers. Ridiculous. Very disappointed as was my 9 year old son.

It was good to see former UK #1 draft picks! The game itself was mediocre. The pace was pretty slow. Trying to get into the stadium was awful. The line to get in was backed up about 500 feet winding through the Lexington Center.

By having Club seats we were allowed early entry to see pre-warmups. At this time the players are willing to sign autograghs and chat with fans. The game itself was fantastic as we are LA Clippers fans and the Clippers won!

I would recommend going to the New Orleans arena to anyone!! They always had something going on at halftime which actually kept people in their seats! Also the food was great expensive but great! They had actual New Orleans food not just regular game food! Bad part- our team lost! :( We aLso went on Guys night which was suppose to include 2 drinks or beers and 2 hot dogs but instead we got 2 beers bc they wouldn't let use get drinks. I was really looking forward to those free hotdogs that we did not get. Instead we got a free pint glass.

The day was pretty awesome even though the Hornets lost. At least I got a chance to see the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony. That was my first time at the arena. I went by myself. The ushers were very nice and kind. They gave me all information I needed to in joy the game.. Made me felt Comfortable and wanted. The seats were great for a good price. Seat location was right in front of the cheerleaders so that was The icing on the cake.. Oh yeah wanted add I was pretty bummed When Andre Davis did not play due to his Ankle injury. Will definitely be back thanks Hornets. Seat The seat right next to the Entrance where the players came out for the hornets. The bad thing about this seat was if people were to stand in the black cushioned seats on the floor. I would kind of get blocked so I would have to stand. Best part about the seat I was located on the first row right next to the cheerleaders.

The Hornets home opner on Halloween night was great, despite the loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Anthony Davis looked impressive in his debut: 21 points, 7 rebounds, more importantly 9-for-9 from the free throw line. Austin Rivers looked hesitant coming off an ankle sprain, but he will improve. Robin Lopez was better then expected in the middle. I really enjoyed all the Halloween-themed entertainment, especially the Honeybees and halftime magic act. Plus a lot of people in the crowd were dressed in costumes. of course this being New Orleans that could have just been their regular attire. Anyway, fun night all-around.

The Hornets came back from a double digit deficit to beat the Clippers 97-90 in Chris Paul return to NOLA. Samuel L. Jackson introduced the starting lineups for both team, but his Pulp Fiction inspired intro for the Hornets was electrifying. The Hornets showed tremendous class playing a Chris Paul tribute video after the first quarter. The Clippers had their usual highlight dunks in the first half, but the Hornets were tougher - as proven by Jason Smith's body check on Blake Griffin. Jarrett Jack was clutch in the second half, and Chris Kaman was better in the paint than Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan combined. Loved the Honeybees two performances and the Hornets drumline.

The Hornets played tough Wednesday night, holding a double-digit lead from the end of the1st quarter until midway through the 3rd. But the Lakers chipped away at the deficit, eventually tying the game by the end of regulation and winning in overtime. Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol were great for the Lakers. Jarrett Jack, Chris Kaman and Greivis Vasquez were exceptional for the Hornets. Food at the Arena is great, although it is expensive. $7.50 for a hot dog, seriously? Trombone Shorty and the Orleans Avenue rocked the halftime show! Samuel L. Jackson was in the house! The Honeybees were sexy as always!

Awesome time to be had at this event! Besides the action packed game, there's plenty of entertainment for everyone. Great music, food, and fun! Hornets will amaze you! Entire crowd in the sold out arena sang quietly to the national anthem being played by clarinet. Such an emotional moment that burst out with cheers and applause at the end. Great game with lots of action. Love those Hornets!

The organizers put on quite a show. Pregame entertainment was plentiful. Despite the hornets lost it was a good game and fun to watch.

Game was awesome! Food was good! Definitely would recomment the club level seats and if you get club seats try the shrimp and grits! Kind of pricey but definitely worth it.

This is the first professional Basketball game I have ever had the privilege of attending! I had a blast and can't wait to go again! The Lakers beat the Hornets 101 to 95! It was an awesome game and both teams played really well!

The view is excellent for the price. The seats were across the aisle from the premium seats, so it's the same view for half of the price. The seats also provide a good view of the team benches and the scorer's table.

The Heat-Hornets game was unreal.The atmosphere was electric. The crowd was into the game the whole way and booing Lebron so loud everytime he touched the ball, you would have though he left New Orleans instead of Cleveland. I sat next to the only guy from Cleveland still rooting for LeBron and wearing his Cavs jersey. The Hornets led most of the way, the Big Three kept the game, even taking the lead laste in the fourth quarter. The Hornets

I drove my handicap son and his brother to see Labron,Dwaynne,and Bosh to play in New Orleans, we live in Pensacola, FL, Because we wore Heat jerseys we were constantly hecked with thunder sticks to the back of our heads, After the game an olderly Hornets couple apologized to us for the hecklers reactions. We won't be going back there again.

I paid almost $200 to watch Lebron James and Dewayne Wade play, I went in knowing that it was preseason and only expected to see them for the first quarter at the most. Apparently the millions of dollars they make isn't enough to play after having a cramp the game before? Neither James or Wade got up off of the bench the whole game, I guess they didn't want to take a chance on getting a real injury and... not be able to play? Seems like a sweet deal for them get paid more than the rest of the team combined and get the best seats in the house to watch the game. CP3,Peja and Okafor all played most of the game forthe hornets which made up for some of the disappointment of watching Lebron chillin on the bench for 48 minutes.

We loved being at our first NBA game. Especially, seeing UK alumni. The facility was awesome, except for way expensive beer. A little upset they took my wine opener and spy guy mini pocket knife. Common sense has eluded us all. A person could do more damage with their bare hands. And the fact, they didn't have a place you could store the items. They said they were just going to throw it away. Pretty crappy. Seats kinda sucked, but that is all on Ticketmaster. App didn't work, long wait on hold, tickets gone except in the rafters. Pizza was good, Convenient location.

We are Sixers fans, but live in Kenner. We decided to go to the game, and were able to get floor seats, which were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and plan to make this a yearly event. We also have decided that we may even attend more Pelicans games because the venue was so nice. An all around great night!
