Jacksonville Giants

Giants basketball season opener was a circus with little basketball talent and all the buzzers and bells as distractions. Owner Ron Sholes, or the law offices thereof, assumes no one is there for a basketball game. (I wonder if the Florida Bar approved of his self promo advertising???) Even with the best team in the league, the noise, t-shirts, free tickets, too young babies, expensive parking made this a lousy night. Fortunately, I was still beaming from attending both the NCAA Jacksonville Dolphins win earlier in the week and the NFL Jacksonville Jajuars win the night before. Best thing about this Giants game was that I left early, before a lot of "fans" even arrived. No, best thing was that I know to not go again, until headache goes away.

All seats had great view. Woman who sang National Anthem was truly gifted and did an awesome job, did America justice by singning so beautifully. Really enjoyed the constant flow of entertainment. Music during the game and also the dancers were really good. Had fun watching Mr. Biggs dance and work the crowd. Thought the guy shooting for $10,000 should have got more than one chance, but fun nonetheless. Young man with mic (M.C.) you could tell has awesome potential in public relations but didn't know who he was? Had a great time with my sons and hope to enjoy more games....but only with lower priced tickets....

I attended my first GIANTS game with my twins sons - they loved it!

Didn't enjoy the game. Not fan friendly like the Jax Sharks games.

The Jacksonville Giants are two time national ABA Champions and to see them in action was an awesome experience. They totally dominated the score board Saturday night. The entertainment at the game was top notch. This is definitely a great family friendly event to attend. Go giants!!!!

Quality Basketball, with a very good family atmosphere at a very reasonable cost.

The game was a blast the players were high flying and Mr Briggs was the highlight lol!!!!

What made it most memorable...seeing my 6 yr old nephew and his friend excited and enjoying themselves. It would have been 5 stars if it hadn't started an hour late. Couldn't stay for the entire game. But I will definitely take him back again. Also the need more memorabilia suited for kids. Mini balls stickers, hats,

These games have been quite impressive and the Giants are extremely fortunate to have enough depth that these guys stay fresh and ready to play. The coach is a class act and it is obvious he has influenced these guys to act accordingly on the court. I have been to 3 games with my son this year and even my wife came to the last one. She actually wants to go again on the 7th of Jan (we are out of town on the 30th of Dec). All that said this is good family fun, above the rim basketball where pros actually play some defense. And if you saw the first game of the season you could see how Laetner's leadership experience became a staple for this team. Take your family, take your entire kids basketball team...you won't be disappointed.

Great team of players. They all have good sportsmanship and they come ready to play each and every game. GO GIANTS....

Overall night was great & enjoyed every minute!! .

Last season I went to all but four home games( one away) with family or friends, the energy level at the games were completely awesome! After the game there's a meet and greet with all the players and they sign autographs until the last person leaves. For the price of one NFL ticket, I took my daughter and we had refreshments( adult for me) bought a two t-shirts and still had change! One to one game and you will be hooked! AND the Giants are ranked number one in the ABA power rankings! What! I'm all over it this season too! See you there!

Definite sub par bball....to many turnovers and clock stoppage. Not much flow to the game. WOW...Laettner looks and plays old for the other team.

Game was fast paced, well officiated, and has a great venue. Jacksonville has a winning team!

Very passionate fan base and the Jacksonville Jewels put on a great dance performance.

My son could not talking about the talent and high scoring displayed. Seeing a center hit shots from the wing and corner was inspiring!!! Intense dunks and alley-oops were spectacular!!! Quality family entertainment and a good price....

I brought my children to this game and it was nice. I really did enjoy it as well as my children also. They want to go again this weekend. THANKS!!

What a team we have in Jacksonville. The ABA better watch out!

I recommend spending the money to come out to watch the Giants this season. The tickets are very affordable and the team is exciting to watch. We enjoyed this event very much and was a great family experience! Our 10 year old daughter and her friend had a wonderful time.
