I went to this show as a casual fan and nothing I saw will change that. Fuel performed the required hits and seemed to be having a good time doing it but were not overly inspiring to watch. The singer (sorry, don't know his name) was having a rough night out of the gate but got better as the night wore on. The performance was more than adequate to satisfy the fan base but if you did not know many of the songs and focused on the performance itself it was a bit lacking. I gave my 4 star rating as I really enjoyed the opening act Jaded. The first opening band was an all female rock group called Jaded, they were the best example of a club band putting on an arena style show that I have recently seen. They are a band that understands image, from the clothes to the stage presence to the songs it was a visual as well as a sonic feast. They are definitely inspired by the 80's so if you do not like hook laden songs and great guitar playing look elsewhere, for anyone else look no further.

I have loved Fuel for a long time and love their older music from 2003-2004. They played most of their old music which was great, but I was hoping for at least a couple of their new songs, which they didn't do. They did however, do such a great job on their older music that it was hard to feel disappointment in the end. It was definitely a great show, and I'm glad I finally got to see them. Would highly recommend seing them.

Bretts voice was in great shape for the show, I don't think he missed a note all night long. It was my first time at Bourbon St. and I thought the sound crew had the sound dialed in perfectly. Great Show!!

Trapt was amazing. 1st time seeing them in concert. Couldn't stay for fuel. My friend wasn't feeling well. So, we bailed early. The sets were all pretty short the opening bands were alright. "She pulled the trigger" was defiantly the best one. Though, they need to change their sign. Nobody could read it. It looked like "shepulled the trigger". I didn't like Mecho Nism but my friend said she liked it. All in all Id say four stars; because, Trapts set was a bit short and I really just came to see them. For $20 though, it was pretty good deal. I would def do it again.

I have been a fan of this band for a long time. Although there has been a change of band members, they still sound awesome. I am so glad to see that they come to Ft. Brett Scallions recently played in San Diego at Brick by Brick 2/5/15. I loved the acoustic performance, his story telling and the cool pictures he shared. He came out after the show and I got to say HI and get his autograph on my Fuel CD and got to take a picture with him. I was lucky enough to see Fuel perform back in 2001 at 4th & B in San Diego, CA. Saliva opened up for them. Since Fuel is my favorite band, it was the best performance ever. I wish the band would perform in San Diego more often.

Seeing Fuel live was amazing, they played old and new songs. Undoubtedly these guys are talented musicians who deserve a lot more credit then given. Meaning while there were true Fuel fans there I also think there were posers who did not give the band enough credit or appreciation and for sure the guys thought that. I felt so lucky to see them, that they came here and the tickets were an awesome price!! But honestly I hope these guys made way more money then that - they are legends and rock and I hope they come back. This was my first time at Culture Room. I love it. It is a very nice place, clean, and the staff is great. Definitely checking out more events at the Culture Room! Thanks

Took me back to the good ol early 2000 days! Good bands, great songs! Hoobastank brought the house down!!! Lots of energy great, songs, they were the best!!! Alien Ant Farm, I knew 2 songs, Fuel I knew about 8 songs...but there was no energy when they were on stage. I found myself checking my phone often during their sets. Also looking around, I seen a lot of upper 40s couples hanging out. Nothing wrong with that, but I see these bands are more for the much older crowd :-/ Great to say I can now mark all these bands off my "To watch" list - however I'd only check out Hoobastank again! Quick side not: During the hoobastank set, they were having Mic issues. The singer kept a smile on his face and didn't turn into a drama queen, he kept his humor up about the issue

Alien Ant Farm left the show at the last minute so that was a bust but Hoobastank more than made up for it. Doug Robb got the crowd into the music and is an excellent performer along with Dan Estrin and the rest of the guys. Fuel was good too but Brett Scallions talks a little too much.

I thought the show was great and the bands played some great tunes. Hoobastank was great and Alien Ant Farm stole the show in my opinion, Fuel was good but made us wait while they played the rock star we'll come out when we're good and ready card. LIT canceled their performance and bailed on the tour about 3 days before the show. I have to say the Paramount let me down with no offers to it's loyal customers for this LAST minute cancelation by LIT. Overall it was still a great show and the bands that were there were great and sounded as good as they have ever sounded.

Brett Scallions and the band were absolutely outstanding. They put on a show that could not have been any better. Brett's voice - omg that voice - was impeccable. He sounded AMAZING! The whole band played so well together. Highlight for me was when Brett sang a cover of "Daniel". Their hits were also so great because hearing the whole crowd singing together is fantastic. I wish I could go to this show again and again. They killed it!

Well.. We purchased these tickets specifically to see Alien Ant Farm... The other bands Lit and hoobastank were pluses. Kaleido went onto stage first and the sound wasn't very great... The band was sub par. While they were playing the gave a shout out to the other bands they were sharing the stage with... That's when we realized Alien Ant Farm and Lit were not going to be a part of the show... Hoobastank went on second, Great performance... Best part of the whole show. Lastly Fuel went on stage, the sound kept cutting out an even the sound guy flew past us to head backstage to try to fix what is happening. We left two songs ino fuels act... Not very happy with the concert. Hoobastank was the best part but not the band we initially went to see.

I was really here to see Fuel as they rocked it last year at the NC Music Factory but Filter had so much energy and charisma, it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. The opening band, Menew was one of the best openers I've heard. Fuel played an awesome set as I expected but Filter came out and just blew it away. Richard Patrick crowdsurfing and then heading straight over to the swag table to sign stuff after "Hey Man, Nice Shot" just added icing to the cake.

I must say for my first rock concert experience seeing Fuel at this venue was a really nice time. The band threw pretty much all of their leftover guitar picks into the crowd and even complimented the crowd on our singing. Besides their voices not sounding clear it was still a blast! I was lucky enough to meet Brett by his tour bus, by an Angel I'll call him, after the show! He shook my BF and I's hand and kissed my cheek hello and goodbye like I was an old friend!! Then signed my brand new Fuel t-shirt! Sooo very lucky! BEST night of my life so far!!

Lit was amazing! They played a lot of songs from their upcoming album and I cannot wait to get it! The band was really cool and was just hanging out by the pool while they watched Fuel perform.I even got to meet them and take a picture with them! Fuel was really good as well and although the lead singer was sick he didn't let that hinder their performance. It was an awesome night!

It was awesome to see Fuel perform the songs that I loved, even though it was not the original lineup. They were so energetic and its amazing to see how much they love their music and what they do, and then that energy is passed to you, and it makes for a great night. Ghost of Gloria opened up for them, a local South Florida band. They were amazing as well. They had an awesome stage presence as well as really catchy songs. I highly recommend checking them out. Overall, it was a great show, I could not have asked for anything better.

I Love FUEL, Always have. When I heard that they were playing with Original Vocalist Brett Scallions I grabbed a ticket as fast as I could. The Night of the show I was Pumped up to see them only to find that it was ONLY Original Vocalist Brett Scallions and not the rest of Fuel (Carl Cox, Jeff Abercrombie etc.) The show was awesome, don't get me wrong. Brett's Voice was in good form and the song choices were perfect. I just wish it was FUEL.

Granted it was only 1 of the 4 original members, however it was great having Brett Scallions back as the lead for Fuel. It was more like Brett singing Fuel songs than actually "Fuel" as we grew up loving them with Carl, Jeff Abercrombie and Kevin Miller in the band. He did a great job on vocals, maybe not 100% his old voice but still did great. Sucks seeing your favorite bands get older. I was really hoping Kevin and Jeff would be there, great guys and really made the band. I have to say Yogi sort of slaughtered a few of the solos. He really should have stuck to how the song should be played and not improvise so much. One thing Carl did very well was play every song how you heard it on the album which is what you expect. Great show overall, bit disappointed in the crowd, Ozone came on and I wanted to start a pit and everyone stood around like sticks in the mud. Have some fun people!

The show was okay I wasn't excited that two of the band members were there. I didn't realize that Brad Stuart has left the band. The new bass player kind of dull. The other bands who played I'd never heard of before. The venue was ok but there's no seating. Being able to get up on to the second floor and look down on the bands was okay. But going up the steps was not very easy for some with disabilities. We wanted to get VIP tickets but were told there wasn't any available. But at the venue they asked if we had VIP tickets. Didn't think that was fair or right seem like only if you knew a band member personally did you get them.

I wish 7:30 had been an accurate start time. Fuel didn't take the stage till 10 pm. A lot of standing around, waiting. Not my favorite thing to do at a show. On the plus side it was a small venue so the seats/standing area was very close to the stage and the sound was good.

first time seeing a show at a hard rock second time seeing fuel so chill, no peeps pushing and shoving and smashing us. was able to calmly go right up to the stage n not be blocked by security. we just loved it n had a great time
