If you have followed the TPB s on Netflix, then you MUST see them live. It s an entirely different show with audience participation as the boys integrate their fans into the various skits. Also, the Paramount Theatre is a georgous venue and its staff was welcoming and professional. Just an awesome evening at at great venue.

We bought our tickets right away, without hesitation. We had no idea what to expect, but knew that it would be a good show no matter what. And it was! Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles were all on fire. They did the usual character stuff that one would expect, plus so much more. Bubbles really came out with some new facets of his personality. The theme for the show we saw was that Bubbles was trying to put together an audition video to get himself into the new Jackie Chan movie, and the whole show consisted of them trying to make one worthy video to send in, as well as a whole bunch of other funny stuff. There was quite a bit of audience participation, which was mostly great. There was one really obnoxious and SUPER-annoying woman, who somehow managed to get herself on stage THREE times! Anyway, the entire audience was really tired of her by the end, and she got seriously booed. She kind of spoiled the show a bit because when she wasn't being obnoxious on stage, she was yelling all kinds of annoying stuff from her seat. But seeing her get dissed by the audience (and TPB) made it all kind of worth it in the end. I will definitely be keeping my eyes and ears open for another show. I love the boys. Oh, and by the way, the people sitting behind us came all the way from St. Louis, just to see the show! A lot of people traveled from varying distances to see the show. It was awesome!

This show was terrible. I loved the TV show, but this was the worst. Boring, bad, not funny. Horrible venue, crowd out of control. Somebody 2 seats away threw up, nobody took action. I told a venue person about the vomit, he said "Yeah, we know".

Ricky, Julian and Bubbles were amazing. Such funny and talented fellows. We didn't know what to expect before the show and were were very pleased with what we saw. We had a great time, laughed a lot! I look forward to their next show but hope they keep the Trailer Park Boys alive and do more shows and movies. Don't miss them if they come to your town!

Pretty sweet show. Bubbles is clearly driving the bus and Ricky and Julian are somewhat along for the ride. I think it's probably just that Julian's character doesn't lend itself to improv-type situations. Ricky was fairly strong, though, and clearly can adapt to changing situations onstage. Interestingly, although the people the boys got out of the audience just about completely tanked, they still made the bits work. Bubbles is brilliant in this type of situation, unsurprisingly. Nice long show. The boys did seem a little surprised when the crowd turned on one of the people they brought up on stage, which provided some pretty funny lines.

I went to this show without really being sure what to expect. We loved the series and knew this show was likely to be a bit eccentric. Overall, the show felt pretty amateur. For the most part it lacked the originality and humor of the series and felt a bit like watching a high school play. The sound system wasn't all the great and much of the dialogue was "fuzzy" and hard to understand. Much of the crowd seemed to be "into" the show which was a mixed blessing ... the energy was up but we couldn't hear the actors over the yelling much of the time. The bottomline is that I think you would come away disappointed if you went expecting to be entertained and you would come away happy if you thought you were the entertainment. You can tell which camp I was in.

The crowd was super amped for the Boys to get on stage, so the energy in the room was good. It was great seeing Ricky, Julian and Bubbles in person but the show really lacked direction. I wondered what they were going to do for the entire time and I guess the answer was use a video camera on stage to create a show. It was lame that they resorted to so many TV spoofs like American Idol and Smarter than a 5th Grader. Also, Ricky and Julian did not do much. It was totally "the Bubbles Show"; he did all the jokes and skits were led by him. It definitely was disappointing that given they are only doing two US shows that no special guests tagged along. The crowd thought for sure that Randy and Mr. Lahey were going to appear on stage. The Boys did do a long show and made sure that people got their $35 ticket price worth. However more is not necessarily better: the people I spoke to were ready to leave at the intermission.

We had such a great time at the show. I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised at how funny it was. These guys are just friggin' hilarious. I would go back to see another one of their shows in a heartbeat. It was worth every penny. The only downfall was the annoying drunk chick that was selected to participate in both audience activities. She was annoying but they did a great job of making fun of her.

We attended the Trailer Park Boys show and had a good time...the guys were funny and the audience participation stuff was great. BUT......though the Pantages is a beautiful place....the audio quality was TERRIBLE! We couldn't understand what was being said on stage half the time because the sound system was so bad and there was so much distortion it distracted from the show itself. This was our first time at the Pantages, so I don't know if this was a problem with the setup in the theater or what but it was disappointing to say the least. We had decent seats too so the sound SHOULD have been excellent, but it wasn't. Bottom line, the show itself was good and entertaining, but the venue was a huge disappointment, only because of the crappy sound system!

Maybe this "show" would've been funnier had there been some thought given to set design, audio levels or how to handle hecklers and overly zealous fans who forgot to take their adderall that day. The first half of the show was unintelligible and lack luster, to say the least. The second half was much better, but that's only thanks to Bubbles' performance of "Liquor and Whores." I was hoping he'd riff off of the success of that songs' performance and sing a couple other songs. Alas, I was forced to settle for his impromptu, yet astoundingly amazing, performance of Rush's "Closer to the Heart." Too bad that only lasted for one verse, as it was a truly mind-blowingly accurate rendition of it. The most redeeming part of the show was the fact that the audience made me feel like a Mensa caliber academic. Way to blow it, Minneapolis! You d-bags owe me and my party the price of admission + event parking for ruining the experience via your lack of impulse control. In other words, keep your outbursts under wraps as a means of respecting the performers, if not for the sake of the rest of the audience. It was painfully obvie that you ruined the comedic timing of the boys on stage. Take your ritalin next time, aaiiight???

My friend and I traveled from San Francisco Area to see this show and we would do it again in a heart beat. I laughed nonstop, start to finish. The further we got into the show the harder I found myself laughing. And by the end, yep, you guessed it, I peed alittle. At one point the audience was throwing money on stage for these guys. Hilarious! When Ricky became re-crippled, that's when I peed. Wish they'd come to the Bay Area.

Let me start with the bad: It's only Ricky, Julian and Bubbles; and the plot of the show is hard to swallow. Having said that, these guys are FUNNY. They have great chemistry together and they keep you laughing as well as involved. Lots of audience participation makes for a truly unique experience rather than a show. They don't try to pretend they're anything they're not and each of their personalities and characters has many moments of brilliance. See it!

A real crack up! The Boys were really on, and their show was even better than last year. Second row center seats didn't hurt either, but I was there 6 hours before the show to get them. The crowd was wild, and I got to meet Bubbles (Mike Smith) behind the theater near their bus. You can't be a real fan if you don't go to their show if it comes anywhere near where you live.

Wow - great show! Was a bit like an overlong episode of the TV show, with some audience participation thrown in. Frankly, a bit TOO MUCH audience participation IMHO. The boys can carry the day on their own, and the bits with Julian selling hot dogs to the audience and trying to get cash for the kisses was hilarious. Bubbles is the MC of the event, and Ricky, well, he's the Ricky. Not to be missed when they return to the US next year. Also really liked the sneak preview of the new series TD&ODHFTH. Looks pretty damn funny, and also stars Alex Lifeson of RUSH!!! NOTE - This show was totally oversold - many people had to stand, not enough seats for all tickets sold - LAME JOB ALADDIN!

The Trailer Park Boys are a terrific group of actors with deep improvisational talents, but the drunken Oakland audience created such a disturbance of drunken fools, that the show never got off the ground. The management threw out several people who just couldn't and wouldn't behave. People drinking alcohol before entering the theatre, then smoking pot inside the theatre was out of control. The actors just had to shout over the noise, and very little order resulted, so the show failed to gain momentum or timing. It stumbled all the way to the end. ALSO, the Oakland location is dangerous. I was warned by the box office staff NOT to drive into the city, and not to park in any of the nearby garages, because of the likelihood of cars being broken into. Come on, Oakland, stop protecting criminals and restore law and order for god's sake! A disgraceful city with a beautiful landmark theatre, The Paramount. A jewel.

Trailer Park Boys is part of a tradition of lovable-idiot-based comedy, along the lines of Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin, but with more liquor and drugs, and the occasional petty (or petit, because they are Canadian) crime that lands the main characters in the local con college. Added to the mix was the malevolent park manager Jim Lahey (now deceased IRL) and his boy toy Randy, and craziness ensues, filmed in the reality style of, say, Reno 911. Because they are live "actors," they have the ability to do live stage shows. This one featured the main characters of Ricky, Julian and Bubbles (as the MC) along with Randy as an antagonist. The premise of the live show is that the appearance of Randy upsets Ricky so much that the "nice show" planned by Bubbles can't proceed until the beef between Ricky and Randy is settled -- by a cheeseburger eating contest (funnier than it sounds), a ball squeezing contest (ditto), and a game of Sunnyvale (the name of their trailer park) Feud -- which was actually hilarious. Add to it a gut-measuring contest (Randy has a male belly fetish) featuring audience volunteers and a couple of musical numbers, the night was very well executed -- since it was meant to feel disrupted and ragged -- and very, very funny.

The standup was as good as the show. Bubbles started trying to make a tape for Jackie Chan and from there it only got better. Even Mr. Lahey and Randy popped in on video. I know my daughter would have liked to see Julian come out of his jumper sooner. It was a good time and definitely adult entertainment. I loved when Ricky went through the audience and Julian sold sandwiches. I do have a favorite Bubbles and he was fantastic as always trying to get the boys on track. Loved the start of the show when Mr. Lehey came walking down the aisle. The Kings Theater is a hidden gem in Brooklyn, with gorgeous decor and grand staircases and beautiful sculptures. Trailer Park Boys gave an outstanding show. Loved when Bubbles played his guitar! The only negative was that the theater allowed people to come in late, so we had constant traffic of people trying to find their seats. This was very annoying. There should have been a cut off time where they should not let anyone in.

I don't go to many comedy shows, so my review may be a bit bias from lack of experience. I'm a huge fan of the Trailer Park Boys, and I jumped on the opportunity to see them live because they mainly tour Canada or most of the northern states. They stayed in character the entire time, and with truck ton of jokes about drugs, booze, and casual profanity. The audience was a bit rowdier than usual, but they made it work and didn't lose their cool. Laughed my ass off.

Great show! Bubbles, Julian, Ricky, Mr. Lahey and Randy (topless in an elf suit) were all in sync. The action was displayed to a large screen behind the stage as Ricky carried the live source mini-cam through the whole show. The thin plot line involved Ricky accidentally finding out that Santa was not real. Ricky's walnut-sized brain couldn't grasp this and the gang decided to make him believe in Santa again. After a line up of bad drunk Santa's failed to convince Ricky, Bubbles dressed as the fist-fighting Santa that fought under Ricky's tree last year (a misunderstanding about gift theft). Their description of this hilarious fist fight was way to crude and detailed to write here. Mr. Lahey stole Julians rum, drank 2 bottles at once, in one take. Julian was mad his booze was gone and started a 60/40 raffle with the audience (later the 80/20 raffle), so Bubbles called him the "Christmas Liquor Grinch" over and over. Bubbles was swift-swearing at hecklers, bringing the whole audience to tears. He also changed his caped Green Bastard costume to be the Christmas Bastard (just by changing the duct tape GB to CB). Bubbles picked up a guitar and ended the show with a powerful rendition of "Liquor and Whores" while swiveling his huge eyes behind the thick glasses while the huge video screen showed Randy dancing in the background-- a close up of his massive gyrating oiled cheeseburger belly.

Well, it was the Trailer Park Boys up there on stage. That's about all I can say about it. There was no set or scene, they were just hanging out on stage. Theater seats were broken. Sound was less than mediocre. It was nice to have something to do that night I guess, but the time probably could have been better spent.

Perfect blend of comedy and music makes for a great live show experience. Worth the extra to see them at the meet and greet after the show too. A must for all fams of the show, great improv and interaction with the crowd.

I was worried the show would have no point and be nothing but curse words. I was pleasantly surprised by how funny and entertaining the actors were. The interaction with the audience was fantastic. I would see this show again!

Def a great show! You have to be a trailer park boys fan to appreciate but it was awesome! I love how interactive they were with the crowd and hope to go to another show one day. I'm really hoping that seeing the success of these shows will encourage them to start filming the series again!

I love the Boys, and this show totally delivered. One of the great things was the high [heh] audience participation factor.

The show was fantastic better than I could have imagined. I worried how it would play out fearing a let down, I couldn't have be more wrong. I never laughed so hard it was better than the show and to see them live was crazy. Crowd involvement was huge and really helped make it an enjoyable show. I can only hope they are back next year

The Trailer Park Boys show was something that we had been looking forward to since the moment we found out they were coming - and the show was totally worth it. The boys are hilarious (as always) and I would absolutely go back. The only issue we had was with the security at the show. Our friends somehow did not get stamped and they wouldn't let them back in. When they got upset and started pleading with them the security officer was very quick to pull mace out and put it about 3" from his eyes. Totally unnecessary and made me incredibly uncomfortable.

After watching all the episodes and movies, I became a huge Trailer Park Boys fan. I read several reviews of their stand-up shows before attending and bought tickets to a show in Houston (2 1/2 hours from my home) and it was AWESOME! It was hilarious and I loved every minute of it! If you like the show, you'll love the stand-up!

I have never seen an entire TPB episode, but I have seen snippets on YouTube. It was on the strength of those clips that I bought those tickets. My husband had never seen the snippets, and went in cold. It was a very funny show, with goofy exchanges, a funny musical performance/singalong and silly situations. Being from Houston, I appreciated the astronaut bit and the Patrick Swayze satire. I would have appreciated knowing in advance that for $40, I could actually meet the performers after the show. Had I known that they only took cash for that meet and greet, I would have brought more cash. I hope they add more shows in the deep South, because I have personally promised a friend of mine to take her to the show if they play in Atlanta or South Carolina.

The show was absolutely amazing and we had really great seats in the front row. They engaged the audience and it felt like we were all back in Sunnyvale. I can't wait to see them again. Plus, after the show we got to meet Bubbles... He was so nice and just sat outside and talked to us for about twenty minutes. I wish I could say the same about Ricky and Julian. Oh well, maybe next time.

I am a long time fan of TPB, having seen every episode at least twice and all of the movies. I couldn't wait for this show to come and it actually managed to blow me away with how funny they were. I just wasn't sure how it'd be live ya know? But they pull it off. They play their characters so good, and were able to twine in Randy and Mr. Lahey, as well as another character who I will not mention. They did an amazing job with what they had to work with and I would go see them again in a hearbeat. I went with two other fans and one person who had only seen one episode before and she agreed that they were really funny.

I five it a solid 5/10. It's running into the same problems the show is. It's the same jokes over and over again. There were a few good chuckles though. I'm not mad I went, but I'd not go again.

Great show. Very funny. Loved it. All the characters were true to form. The audience participation was just the right amount. This was a better live show than some of the ones I've seen on Netflix.

My boyfriend and I were very excited to see the boys in person and in action! We quickly could tell it was the EXACT same show as the one they put on in TX earlier this year. Maybe I'm not sure how tours work, but I expected a different show. It was funny, don't get me wrong, and it was awesome to see them in person, but it was like a live version of a rerun. Ryman was also very loud it seemed and I'm no stranger to concerts & live performances. Better luck next time hopefully!

The show was great and at the Ryman the experience was awesome. I would definitely use Ticketmaster for another show and I would definitely return to the Ryman because everything went smoothly. The show with the trailer park boys was great, plenty of laughter. They were exactly how they are on Netflix! We felt safe in Nashville with with all security measures the Ryman uses.

If you didn't see the Drunk, Stoned & Unemployed tour a few years ago, definitely go see it! If you saw the first tour, this is the exact same show. From the Jackie Chan/rocketship video, to selling food for 15 minutes (hamburgers, not hot dogs this time), to the exact same video of Randy & Lahey, it's the same show. It's awesome to see the Boys whenever you can but I wish I would have known it was no different. As a heads up, hold on tight to your merchandise. Some low life stole my buddy's Green Bastard shirt at the Atlanta show.

If you have seen any of their live shows on Netflix then you have seen this show before. It's pretty stale and slow. They use the same videos as the ones from the TV recording as well the issue is that they don't match that old video anymore. Their looks were abit different so that was a turn off as well and the piss jug was brand new and in the video it's crushed.. Then they sold their cheese burgers as they do in every show and it was old McDonald's burgers . The crowd was not feeling it that much as well. Not many cheers or laughs except from the drunk folks. Over all I would avoid this one and maybe if the boys were brighter they wouldn't have the same live show on Netflix. Brought my wife to this show it was her 1st live comedy/concert/event she's ever went to and man is she disappointed. We ended up leaving at their half time break since it was so bad.

Ricky, Julian and Bubbles were hilarious! A lot of the skits they did were new. They did a lot to involve the audience, although they did charge $10 for burgers off of McDonald's dollar menu... but hey, that's Julian, and it's not shocking. My husband and I had a blast.
