The Revivalists never disappoint. No one - and I mean NO ONE - took a seat during the entire two-hour show. If you re debating whether to see these guys, do yourself a favor - and GO!

The band was great and the show was incredible. It was nice to hear the covers they played, Prince's Purple Rain, and The Who's Baba O'Riley (Teenage Wasteland).

This was my first time at the Teragram Ballroom. It's an epic new venue to definitely check out! Open space and three bars. And to top it off one of my favorite bands was performing.

What an amazing show! Trombone Shorty's guitarist made an appearance and added luster to an otherwise amazing show. The Terragram is a beautiful venue. Can't wit to go back.

I've seen The Revivalists now 4 times, and plan on seeing them another 400 times. They are simply amazing. They sound incredible live. David Shaw is a star, his voice is amazing and loves interacting with the fans. They are always on tour, find a show near you, go see them and thank me later. I hope this band blows up huge...i just love them. Thanks guys!

FROM THE FIRST NOTE PLAYED TO THE LAST THIS BAND CAPTIVATES THE AUDIENCE WITH THEIR SOUND, LYRICS, ENERGY AND SHOWMANSHIP AND HOLDS THEM UNTIL THE FINAL NOTE IS PLAYED. THIS WAS A PHENOMENAL SHOW FROM START TO FINISH

Concert was excellent, Revivalists played several of their new songs that were awesome. Bowery ballroom is a great place to see an event. Would recommend it to anyone.

They played with endless energy!! Great playlist mixing in favorites with their new songs from new album, only negative was venue allowed smoking ......this would be a reason that I would NOT see them at this venue again

We first heard them at the New Orleans Jazz Fest two years ago. Seen them many times since. A very talented and dedicated group of musicians. Energy plus !

The opener wasn't my favorite and didn't excite the crowd much, but as soon as The Revivalists came on they had an energy that lasted the whole show. Everyone is so talented.

The explosion you heard on South Street Wednesday evening, November 19, was the roof being blown off the TLA by the 7 piece music machine, The Revivalists from New Orleans. Although they've been together for 7 years they are rather unknown in the major market Philadelphia area. Well...that's about to change real soon. They have a non stop touring schedule and have created quite the buzz wherever they play. I have been seeing this band live for the past few years, and wether they are playing for a crowd of 30 or 3,030 they play with the same high energy from start to finish...and leave the crowd wide mouthed and wanting more. Entering the venue early and securing my favorite spot front and center I waited with great anticipation for what I knew was coming. I always enjoy talking to the people around me and know who has or hasn't seen these guys before. The ones who have all share the same enthusiasm as I...The ones who haven't surely feed off my energy and excitement. I tell them they are going to be in for a real treat! As the band took the stage you can tell they were as excited as the crowd, and when the first notes were played you can tell it was gonna be a fun action packed ride. The energetic yet passionate vocals of David Shaw were complimented all evening by the bands tightness and full spectrum of sound. With Zack Fienberg on guitar, George Gekas on bass, Ed Williams on pedal steel guitar, Rob Ingraham on sax, Micheal Girardot on keyboard and trumpet, and Andrew Campinelli on drums they played flawlessly, often interacting with one another and feeding off the enthusiastic crowd! Let's not forget the many time David Shaw jumped off the stage, danced, sang, and interacted within the crowd! When the show ended I turned to the people I spoke with prior who had seen them before and you can tell they were pleased and satisfied! Then turning to the ones who were enjoying their first live performance by The Revivalists the reaction was what I expected...amazement and anticipation for the next time they'll see them again!! Dave gave me his set list and without hesitation I gave it to the female first timer next to me who couldn't have been more thrilled and appreciative! Having met the band and become friends with them in the past years I can honestly say they are as kindhearted and passionate as they are talented...and they are VERY talented! It's been very gratifying witnessing the progression of their success and they a well deserving of everything good coming their way!

Best show I've seen since May, and I've seen at least 20 acts since then. These guys are electric on stage, and the Sinclair is an awesome venue!

The Revivalists is our FAVORITE band! This band hits the notes of many genres, and you can't beat that New Orleans energy. Bring them back often!!!

Revivalists recommended. Lead singer very good, enlivening the stage, and engaging the audience. Original lyrics. All 6 members of the band highlighted. Words flowed well, not repetitive. Mike for the secondary singer never worked, who is primarily an excellent saxophonist. Sound too loud, even with ear plugs. Venue at The Sinclair not recommended.

The Revivalists are my absolute new favorite band, bringing a funky and fresh sound out of New Orleans. First time to the Civic Theatre and was very impressed, beautiful venue. Would love to see this band, and venue again!

I've typed several posts, blogs, comments... Whatever you want to call them, prior to and leading up to this concert and in every one of them I purposely asked "how many times have you ever been guaranteed a Great time? We'll here is another one!" And I couldn't have been more correct. Folks...if you haven't seen these kids live you are really, really missing out. Do yourself a favor and look The Revivalists up, see when they are playing near you (these guys play every where) and go see them.

The Revivalists are an absolutely amazing band. The way they interact with the audience makes us feel a part of the show. Their own songs as well as covers of others' songs moves you down deep and out through the toes. There is no way to stay still when listening to these guys, I'm constantly dancing! I am so ready for a new album from them!

Local 662 hasn't shaken it's gutter punk roots. Its a dark and dingy venue filled with cigarette smoke. It was not very fitting for the Revivalist and the crowd they attract. Also, the sound guy was horrible. He has no clue what he is doing and needs to work on honing his craft. Also, the opening bands were HORRIBLE!! Ranging from solo electric guitar screamo, to some kind of sublime rock , to some kind of throwback to Michelle Branch singer-songwriter style. I came to see a New Orleans funky soul band, not these other genres that have no relation musically. By the time the Revivalist took the stage, i felt defeated by the evening of subpar music and could not enjoy myself. One last note, a headliner band should not start 4 HOURS after start time. The venue was clearly trying to get people in the door early to see their own local bands that had no relation to the actual headliner. Maybe it would have worked if the bands were of a similar genre but they clearly the furtherest thing from it. Just a bad venue with no vision on how to run good shows. It takes more than a space and a bar.

I heard these guys on Satellite Radio, Jam on station. Tight grooves, they don't fit the jam band mold. The show was awesome.. I will look forward to their return to Baltimore.

This is the second time I've seen The Revivalists. They're great musicians and put on a fantastic show... I highly recommend them. For them, it's about the music, not a complicated stage production with technology and video distractions. Still, I do expect the lighting to stay with the performers: at least three times, the lighting didn't keep up with the show... one of them would be out on a stage extension with no light. And the sound in The Masonic wasn't as good as I remember the sound in The Fillmore being for these guys. I would see them again.

The revivalists put on a greatest show. New songs. Loved them. The sound was absolutely awful. All mid range and highs. Very tinny and rally loud. It hurt. I had to leave during the encore because it hurt. Even one of the bartenders said it much louder than normal. Loud is fine but the quality was poor.

Everybody should experience a Revivalists show at least once in their life (this is my fourth). The energy they bring to the stage is incredible and they are one of the most talented groups of musicians I've ever seen. Run, don't walk to the next show!

The Revivalists never disappoint, but the show would have been better in a different venue. The Masonic's acoustics are not the greatest. The vocals were overshadowed by the horns.

I always enjoy watching The Revivalists play. And, the Saenger Theater never disappoints.

What a great performance! Everyone stood for the entire 2 hour concert. The Saenger is a beautiful venue. Lucas Nelson (Willie's son) opened, which was a surprise as no opening act was mentioned. This was worth traveling from Washington State to New Orleans to see.

These guy deserve a larger venue. They played a great set and as always were very energetic.

I had the pleasure to see these guys for free thanks to phillys alternative radio 104.5 & all sponsors. these guys put on an amazing show, they sounded just as good as they do on recordings, they were very interactive with the crowd & their sound is very unique! Love the sexaphone(yes, I meant that!)<3 Hope to see these guys again soon & I so look forward to new material(: if you only know a few songs by these guys, you are seriously depriving yourself of amazing tunes! check out all their songs & Ill bet you can't find one you don't like.

What a fabulous show. Great performance, energy, and sound. Loved that it was general admission in the balcony. Great way to spend NYE. The mirrored flying dancer was impressive, as was the Michael Jackson cover, and the Neil Young one, too! All in all, a solid performance, just like the one we saw at Jazz Fest. Can t wait to see them again soon.

What an unforgettable night! I have seen this band 7 times now (Rev Head status) and this has to be my favorite show. They brought the house down!

Awesome way to spend New Years Eve! One of my top 3 shows of 2017. David Shaw was electric and the entire band rocked the Orpheum.

I am 56 years old and have been to concerts all my life. The Revivalists concert was probably the best concert I have ever seen. You could easily tell they are an excellent group of artists who love what they do. They played for approximately two hours and left it all on the stage!!

Good music- disappointed at the long wait between the opening act and the start of the concert. Other than that, the sound seemed off - but a good band, great vibes. Much fun!

The Revivalists are a great blend of jam, pop, rock, reggae and more. Its a great band to watch while singing along and having drinks with your budddies. Theyll get you dancing too. Jannus Live is a perfect venue for an uplifting atmosphere like that.

I ve been following this band since I saw the singer touring with Galactic. They are amazing and get better every show. Always a fun time.

The band was fun!! Staff was friendly! A little slow getting started at 1st... very crowded but all people there were courteous no shoving or pushing. Leaving the event was quick and easy

In my opinion, The Revivalists' band members are obviously highly sophisticated musicians. This is the first show I have seen them and only recently discovered their music. Fantastic show and impeccable sound. Great showmanship and you can't really tell which members stand out. They were all stars and highly dedicated to the performance.

The Revivalists yet again outdid themselves! Frontman David Shaw led the band through two hours of incredible songs and rang in the New Year in Atlanta in the most amazing way ever! They blew the roof off The Buckhead Theater!

I love this band for so many reasons. The lyrics are relatable, profound and the words paint a picture. Each member of the band is incredibly talented and shine in their own unique way. The voice of David Shaw is soothing, soulful and magnetic on so many levels. As a whole, their synergy is positive, entertaining and fun! I am grateful to have experienced that!

Pound for pound, $ for $, they can compete against anyone on the stage!

These cats from the bayou state know how to lay it down proper on your ears. Saw em the night before in Raleigh & about 3 songs deep into their show was convinced I had to hit up the Charlotte show as well. Only regret was that I haven t seen them sooner. The Charlotte metro credit union Amphitheatre is a gem. Quaint & not a bad spot in the place. Will be going back again. Long live LIVE MUSIC!

I saw this band open for Gov't Mule and they blew me away! Now 5 years later they headlined the same venue! The Revivalists are definitely on their way up. Love seeing them in the bigger venue, but miss being just a few feet away while they're playing. This is one band you do not want to miss seeing live!!

I love this band, would have rather been on the Floor dancing. But the acoustics were good and we had great seats. But have seen them in venues with a floor admission enjoyed that more.

Second time I ve seen them in Charlotte and they did not disappoint!!

I've seen the Revivalists many, many times and they always BRING IT to every performance. This one was no exception. My only quibble was the sound. It was muddy, which is a problem with many venues and many performances by many bands. The folks at the Charlotte Metro Amphitheatre (and many other venues) need to go and learn from the people who do sound at JazzFest in New Orleans. I've been to JazzFest many times and the sound is always spot on. Band after band can rotate on and off the same stage and the sound is always great. Please. Go, learn, and fix this.

I knew maybe half of the songs they played, but the music they produced beyond their normal songs blew me away. I was able to jam and enjoy the sound more than most shows I have experienced. 10/10, would recommend!

What a great concert and the venue was just small enough to make it not overpowering and big enough for everyone to move around. I love that there are "real" bathrooms and craft beer choices. Great time!

The new material is really good., The adddition of PJ, has added a whole new deminsion to the band. I think Robb, Micheal and David have really come into their own, with the years of practicing and touring.

I have seen the Revivalists many times and have never been disappointed. However, the sound quality at this show was terrible. I could barely hear David's voice.

I love the venue but i love the band more. After 1 cancelled performance i was SUPER excited they rescheduled St.Louis. To say i am a fan in an understatement. I like everything this band does. They are AWESOME live and i can't imagine anyone not having a good time. Another great performance by The Revivalist.

First the sound sucked. I was gonna say its not the bands fault, but it is really. They have these things called sound checks?? Anyway...I'm sure people enjoyed the show( I know this because of the annoying loud girl that was screaming the whole time she wasn't yelling the words to the songs out so loud I couldn't hear the lead singer). Revivalists just don't jam/rock out hard enough for me. I went because a "girl'friend of mine wanted me to go, so I did. They are exactly that...more of a "Chick band". Revivalists are just not that talented musically speaking. If you are a musician you know what I mean. I've seen local bar bands that rip it up better and are better at their craft.
