A 1972 graduate, this was actually my very first Buckeye game on campus, even though I live right here. Meeting up with an old roommate from Morrill Tower. And thought I had really good seats for watching action up close underneath the basket seven rows back. Turns out the view is inexplicably obstructed. Rather than having back boards store and come down from above, OSU athletics chose to use the equivalent of a home driveway basketball setup, and clearly made it big and heavy enough not to require sandbags. Fortunately, this was just a scrimmage with Wooster, so we moved to other open seats at halftime. Just not what I expected.

Ohio State University continues to struggle with creating a true basketball atmosphere at its events. Every single timeout is filled with an advertisement. It's never about the basketball experience. Arena music doesn't match the mood of the game. I don't need to be told that it's "time for Hang on Sloopy" - just let it happen organically. I don't need to be told that t-shirts are being tossed to the loudest fans and THAT is why I should get on my feet at tip-off. The cost of attending a game doesn't match the value. It just doesn't.

It was a nice experience except that the will call selection I made somehow got switched to a print at home type of tickets and I had to be escorted to a particular ticket booth to get them but the OSU staff was awesome giving us an escort through the arena. jjh

Any chance to see THE Ohio State Buckeyes is a good one; but to witness history in the making was amazing. I win is always great but a win that clinches the Big Ten's first Big Ten/ACC Challenge is about as good as it gets.

Buying the tickets online and printing them out worked very well. I was sceptical at first but when we got to the arena our printed tickets were scanned and we went right in. All around good expierance. Will do it again.

The atmosphere at VCA has gone down every year it's been in existence. Ohio State is awful at creating an atmosphere to meets the standards of modern-day college basketball. It's absolutely ridiculous when the PA announcer starts the Arena O-H-I-O cheer and announces Hang On Sloopy before it's played. Every timeout is a corporate advertisement that kills the atmosphere...JUST PLAY UPBEAT MUSIC. T-shirts are tossed out at tip-off. It's incredibly disheartening.

Bought tickets in mid-January. Upper level, behind basket, just a few rows from the front of the section. Great view. Buckeye NutHouse student section being on the sideline really adds a lot to the atmosphere at Value City Arena. Took 2 young children. Easy in and out of the arena.

My husband & I are both huge Ohio State fans. In all sports. I got basketball tickets for him for his Christmas present. an we had so much fun, an enjoyed the game so much; we went back for our anniversary! Both games we won!(of coarse!) It was awesome! We are really looking foward to go for the Spring game. Which is now a yearly tradition! We go early enough to watch the Lacrosse game too! We love the Buckeyes!! Go Bucks!

There is nothing better than watching the Buckeyes playing basketball or any other sport. Everybody needs to see at least one sporting event at The Ohio State University. It was even better than previous visits. I would recomend it for any Buckeye fan. The fans are the best in the Big Ten. Everyone was friendly(even the Indiana Fans) Had a great time and will go again.

William Buford from Toledo, OH was great. He is from our hometown and we were really excited to see him. The first time we saw him play was in Columbus for the state championship. So, both times we saw him play was there (as a player from Libbey High School and now with the Buckeyes. There was a lot of action and entertainment going on for the fans in between game playing. We would definitely go see another game. It was awesome!

Great experience, I was a little concerned with buying tickets on the 300 level, but was pleasantly surprised. Very good view and didn't feel like I was too far from the floor. Overall game and experience was wonderful and would highly recommend.

I am a Ohio State fan and I went to the Fairleigh Dickinson vs OSU game in December of 2016. I found seats that were $2 because Ohio State was 6-1 and Fairleigh Dickinson's record was 2-4. No one was there because they knew it was a blow out. But OSU eventually ended up winning 70-62.

The Buckeyes won, which makes everything easier... This is a nice facility and folks are friendly and helpful. I would add that we noticed that some of the restrooms and concession stands were closed in the 300 level. I understand why - they didn't think there would be a lot of demand - but it did mean more walking to find the facilities or grab a bite. Other than that, no real complaints...

We loved our seats! We couldn't believe that we only paid $20. plus $5. for each seat! Great view. I was able to walk down to the court and meet the tv commentator, Don Dakich. He's one of the best and a favorite of mine.

Wow. I am so impressed with the fans and the atmosphere at the Schottenstein Center. I am a die hard Terp fan and was born and raised as an ACC guy. The move to the Big Ten was heartbreaking. Years of being able to hate the mere mention of Duke and North Carolina would be changed. I am supposed to be a rival of Perdue? Northwestern? Well, business travels took me to Columbus and I was able to see my Terps take on the Buckeyes. I was amazed at the Fans. Little kids and senior citizens all got it to it. I was awesome. I was wearing Maryland gear and surrounding OSU fans politely made conversation. The scoreboard and shuttle system was great. Terps will always be my team but I will pull for OSU. Buckeyes killed us and I am hoping to see them again in March. Go to the NCAA tourney in Columbus. You will not regret!!!

The Huntington Club seat was a first row corner away from the others and the limiting leg room, etc. At 6'5" & 300 lbs. It was more than a tight fit. The usher urged me to go to the costumer service and he pointed to the ADA seats directly in front of me. They will put you there....I was having more problems trying to get up and down on the stairs without a cane impossible as their railing is inadequate if you have mobility issues. WRONG! They put me in the far end court with the back board in front making viewing of the game poor at best. I watched as the game went on. NO one was sitting in the ADA seats directly in front of where the club seat was. It was like having tickets on the 20 in football and being put in the end zone directly behind the goal posts. I have OSU season tickets but had sold them and purchased the Club Seating. My season tickets are Terrace Level, First Row, Center Court. though higher up the view is Amazing compared to the seat I was assigned by the Ohio State Costumer Service.

Buckeyes played great. Arena atmosphere continues to lack, though. It's just not up to college basketball standards. Too many promotions and announcements and lack of exciting, timeout music that kills the atmosphere.

everything was fine except for parking.. I needed handicap parking..i got there an hour early and they said handicap parking was full..so I had to go up the road and pay 10 dollars to park..as we were walking to the event walked right past the handicap parking area and it was almost empty...very upsetting

Most upset with OSU. There wasn't any handicap parking available(arrived 45 min early). Wasn't allowed to be dropped at the door so walked through part of a parking lot. I told person I spoke to that I would be with a walker as I just had 2 total hip replacements. I was assured that wouldn't be a problem as I could take elevator to section 300 and the seats were right there. NOT true. Our seats were in the very last row . If I hadn't been with my son and grandson I never would have made. I feel like I was very mislead. The best thing that happened was on leaving a Wonderful Columbus policeman stopped traffic so I could be picked up.

My boyfriend and I got our tickets at the last minute. Sat in I guess what people call the "nose bleed" section and had a blast. Great crowd, Great environment. We will do it again, but maybe get tickets a little earlier. lol :)

Our first time at an Ohio State BBall game and it was great . There's not a bad seat in the place and our son got to meet Brutus and get some pics on the court after the great Buckeye win to close out the regular season

The Ohio State Game was great and everyone there was great. My first Ohio State game! However, the seats were so o o high up and far away from the floor, even though I ordered tickets the same morning they were offered. While people on the street outside were selling tickets, that weren't even available the morning of sale. Anyway, it was a great experience and I got to see Aaron Craft work his magic live!!!
