Kevin Nealon

We've enjoyed seeing Kevin on SNL and various TV talk shows so seeing him in person was very similar but even better. His stage persona is very engaging and he improvises easily with the audience. He is very tall and his photos with fans are both generous and genuine.

We enjoyed the Kevin Nealon show, including the fact he greeted those of us waiting in line before the show. He was typically funny, engaging and self-aware. The two opening acts were solid as well.

I have been to Cobb's Comedy Club many times. Rarely does the MC, the opener and the headliner all bomb. Well, they ALL did that evening. The MC was bad enough, but he is only on 5 or 10 minutes. The opener guy was a disaster. I don't think I laughed at all. He just wasn't funny, and he knew it. He kept commenting on the "quiet audience". There was still time to salvage the evening with the Headliner. I thought Kevin Nealon was funny on SNL. I never saw Weeds. I had heard he started out as a stand up. I have seen other ex-SNL people at Cobb's in the past, and its not a sure hit to be sure. Kevin Nealon has lost it. He was completely unfunny. The audience laughed a little, but the club wasn't nearly as boisterous as other shows I have seen there. His humor just seemed tired, worn and "dumb observational" humor. Three comics, one night, and you couldn't have strung together a good 5 minute set between all of them. And the tragedy is, I had invited two friends that night who said they didn't like going to comedy clubs. Believe me, after that evening, it is going to be a decade before anyone will be able to convince them to go again.

Very funny. Our seats were excellent and drinks were reasonably-priced. Would be 4.5 stars if that option was given.

Not as hilarious as some comedians I have seen, it probably fell a little below my expectations, but was definitely enjoyable.

My side was splitting the entire show. Lots of classic Nealon deadpan humor with some interesting crowdplay. Kevin always pleases and takes pics with everyone after the show. What an awesome guy!

This was a great show. Kevin delivered great laughs, His openers were hilarious too. The ex-girlfriend and I went together and finally shared some much needed laughter.

I've seen Kevin Nealon 4 times now over the last 8 years. I am never disappointed. I can't say that about all the comics of seen. And I have seen hundreds. I highly recommend him. He's laugh out loud funny till your stomach hurts.

A group of 12 of us went to see Kevin in Sacramento. We all had a great time. Kevin's set was funny on all topics, he has great timing and delivery. Kevin has a very cool presence on stage and his delivery is very casual and comfortable. He had us rolling. I would recommend this show to anyone looking for a good laugh.

This was our first time to the Punchline and it won't be the Last. We loved the opening acts for Kevin also. We absolutely loved the entire evening. Thank you :)

Maybe it was the high expectations, but this fell way short. Even with the two minimum drinks I still wasn't really laughing.

Extremely funny in a great venue. Kevin does a great job of engaging the audience. I haven't laughed like that in a long time.

We had a fantastic time! Kevin was extremely personable, hilarious, and surprisingly clean. It made my day when I got to meet him after the show and get a picture. I have never known a star of his caliber to do that. thanks Kevin!!!!

Great show! A geniuely fun time. The whole room was rolling. He even did my favorite character, which is Mr. Subliminal. The opening acts were good too. Met him outside before the show and had us laughing before we walked in the building. Later, we got pictures with him after the show. A really nice guy! Would definitely see him again.

Kevin Nealon was as funny as ever. His opener, Kira S, was great too. A good combo.

Love Kevin Nealon. Most bits very funny. Have seen his standup several times... But this time he went on way too long regarding grown up versions of "potty talk." Really? Do we really need to hear about your enemas? On and on. Not something I want in my head when looking for a fun night out. Maybe because he has a potty training four year old at home, he is becoming anal, literally. I view potty talk jokes in the same category as mean/bullying sarcasm: not very creative, an easy way out for a cheap laugh, and just plain annoying. Other than that, the rest was great. Everyone in Tahoe still talking about it & quoting show...that is probably exactly what you want.

Super funny. I mean I wasn't busting up, hysterically laughing the whole time but I would say it was a consistent chuckle. If you like kevin nealon then you will like his stand up. It's exactly what I expected-dry and sarcastic. He started out pretty slow but totally warmed up and I found myself hoping it wouldn't end. He did subliminal man a bit and at the end he did some improv which was fun and involved the audience. He was on for about an hour, which I thought was perfect. The opener was weird.

Truly one of the best stand-up's in the world. Hung onto every line, every punchline. Can't wait to see him in Lake Tahoe on the 2/26.

I love Kevin Nealon and was excited to see him for my first time. The opening act was very funny and warmed the crowd right up. Then Kevin came on stage and was slow to start. Mentioned the show Weeds and crowd went ballistic. But he never gave his super sardonic and witty humor. Instead we got a "I'm not really into doing this tonight" kinda show. I know comedians travel a lot and have good days and bad days. But he kept looking at his watch and never really delivered what I know he is capable of. I'm not saying he wasn't funny, but rather disinterested. When someone looks at their watch 5 times while on stage in the middle of an act it tells me they don't want to be there. Plus it was only a 1 Hour Set!!! :(

Kevin Nealon is much taller than I expected. I bought the cheap balcony seats and except for the scalp burn from the spotlight and the feeling of vertigo way up high, I had a great experience. Kevin's humor is deadpan, not raunchy, and full of topics I could relate to. I've read that the emotions connected to laughing are similar to those of crying. I'm pretty sure there were tears streaming down my face at times during KN's performance. Thanks, I needed that.

Excellent show! The show was fresh, energetic, and a constant string of laughs. Nealon did not rely on his older schtick, but rather had a ton of new material and kept the laughs rolling. I would definitely recommend his show to anyone looking for a laugh or 15...

Kevin Nealon, as expected, put on an outstanding show at the Wilbur in Boston. Immediately the audience felt comfortable with his stage presence...kind of like old home week. His routines were not completely new, but as funny as ever. His subject material was pretty much out of the daily lives of those people ages 35-60, not hesitating to make social commentary on everything from personal relationships to our sometimes daily routines. Like his stuff on "subliminal man", he seems to bring to the surface issues that may be touchy to talk about, but you know everyone is thinking. His show was fairly clean; its a show that you can take any family member to, but kids under 15.

Very funny. We had a great time. He owned the crowd the minute he walked on the stage. One of the best comedy shows I have been to.

He was not in his character as "Doug," but Kevin Nealon was pretty hysterical!

My title reflects part of his act. He is one of the funniest comedians hands down. His comedy seems to just flow without effort. His delivery is perfect, and he interacts with the crowd in a great way, without alienating them. I would highly recommend seeing him. He even does pictures, and a meet-n-greet with fans after. We took a picture with him, and he inscribed my book with a very witty comment based off what my female friend said to him. I give him 5 stars for sure.

Great show!! Saw him at the Hu Ke Lau in Chicopee, MA. Very, very funny night. The venue was nice. Food was average. I would recommend the show to everyone!! My face hurt from laughing so hard. After the show, my boyfriend met Kevin Nealon and I actually stood next to him!!!! Thanks for the laughs!!

Kevin Nealon is hilarious! I have never seen him before other than on television, and it was well worth it. The opening act with Brad Wollack was really good, and I have never heard of him before.

My wife and I both were disappointed with this show. Kevin Nealon was on stage for one hour and twice I saw him look at his watch. When I go to a comedy show I like to really laugh and Kevin did not do that for us. He made us chuckle but we never really laughed. You know how you watch a comedy show on television and you dont really laugh like you would if you were there live? Well that was how this show was. Like you were watching a comedy show on television. I heard one curse word and it was like it was a slip. Not that I need to hear curse words, but since I didnt really laugh maybe that would have helped. So bottom line is I would not recommend his comedy show.

Kevin Nealon's show was so funny! He takes real life situations that you can relate to and finds the humor in them. He didn't go for the cheap laughs. It was a high-quality performance. My husband and I are so glad we went!

Norm's style of comedy isn't for everyone, and he was clearly on the intoxicated side. For those who enjoy him though, he was hilarious, as always. Great material and the occasional slur of speech only made it funnier. I had never seen Kevin Nealon perform stand-up before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but came onstage with a style that couldn't have been more different than Norm's. He had a great stage presence, looking very comfortable and relaxed, and he was very active (and was noticeably sober), using all of the stage and interacting with different parts of the crowd throughout the entire set. His act was definitely geared towards the older audience members. Some of the bits had the potential to be "corny" and "hacky", but he did a good job of walking that line and never crossing it. Overall, it was a good show and I'd recommend it, especially to a more middle-aged audience.

Kevin Nealon did a good job, but Norm stole this show. Norm just has a way of telling stories and jokes that make it very unique and extremely funny.

We were really looking forward to this but went away disappointed. Norm Macdonald was slow, and he was harder to understand than usual. He talked a lot about being old which I suppose is his life experience right now. Kevin Nealon was much better but still only got a good 3 laughs. He went on about some lame Jack Nicholson story for way too long. His best bit was doing a Mr. Subliminal thing involving the audience, so that doesn't say a whole lot.

Kevin Nealon was awesome! Super funny and impressive! Norm McDonald came out really drunk and was really not that funny. A lot of people left during his stand up and Kevin Nealon had to come out and sort of save him. I really liked how at the end of the show, they were both up on stage together answering the audiences' questions.

Norm and Kevin were both funny. Being there with other couples made it more fun--not sure if Norm and Kevin gave it their all or sorta "phoned" it in. It was nice because the jokes were bawdy and "R" rated without being raunchy.

Kevin Nealon is great, very funny. Norm MacDonald is not funny! They should dump Norm and just have Kevin, then it would be a good show.

Kevin Nealon was hilarious. I enjoyed his act immensely. I was expecting to like Norm MacDonald even more, because I have enjoyed his other work. However, most of his act centered around rape. The first half, I thought he actually handled well--I remember thinking "Wow, he's making jokes about rape that are not offensive!" His bits about Cosby and how people are more upset about the hypocrisy than the drugging and raping were great. Then the second half devolved into an extended rant about prison rape that pretty much undid all the good stuff from the first half. I was quite uncomfortable.

I love going to comedy shows...there were (4) of us and it was not good! Norm was either drunk or stoned! Kevin was good...he had to make up for Norm...he even answered the Q & A for Norm at the end.

Kevin Nealon was quite hilarious. Norm was funny, but I was a little disappointed. He sounded drunk or high or something. It was difficult to understand him and he kind of rambled at several points. I had seen him before and loved his show, so it was disappointing.

Awesome show from two comedy greats. Kevin Nealon was a pleasant surprise for me. His act works incredibly well live. I'm probably going to check out more stuff from him going forward. It was fun to watch a couple of pros in their element. Highly recommend!

I was star-struck. The audience had a chance to ask them questions at the end, and I froze. oh well, not meant to be.... Kirk Fox was their opener and he was fantastic as well! Look him up, FUNNY!! If you get the chance, SEE THEM ALL!!

Beautiful setting for a show but disappointed in the performance of the comedians. As huge fans of their work I guess we expected more and definitely let down by what we hoped would be a night full of laughs. Just seemed like both comedians were a little too under the influence to be on stage. Wouldn't suggest their tour! :(

This is the second time we have seen Kevin Nealon at Cobb's Comedy Club. It is a great venue. We always enjoy ourselves there. Kevin was hilarious as always. We will always return to see him here.

I'very seen a lot of comedy shows live and Kevin is right up there with the best of them! He has a stage presence that makes you feel like you're just hanging out with a long time friend and his delivery is perfect. I will be going to see him every chance I get from now on!

I didn't really laugh very hard once. I chuckled. The openers were not very funny at all, very amateur. Kevin nealon started out pretty funny, but definitely not side splitting humor. I loved him in weeds and on SNL, but never saw his stand up so I googled it and watched a couple videos. Don't do that, because you will ruin the show for yourself. He did all the same few bits. I think it was more of a novelty to go see him and he definitely was just riding on his tv fame. For the $80 we spent on 2 tickets plus the $75 we were forced to spend on crappy drinks and food, I am pissed we didn't just go out for a nice dinner and rent sabastian maniscalco's new showtime special. Now that's funny stuff. Pretty disappointing,

Kevin makes you laugh the whole time. Kevin just keeps it coming. He is just effortless. The other 2 comics were very funny too. I apologize for not remembering their names.

I have seen Kevin a couple times. Puts on a great show with mild language, which I appreciate. Very funny without the need of being vulgar, no F bombs. This is a real talent working the crowd and being connected to the audience, I really enjoyed him giving the audience some of the behind the scenes of the shows antics that he has starred.

Kevin was great. He engaged the audience and his subliminal messages were a hoot. I hope he comes back to St. Louis sooner rather than later. He stories were also great and funny.
