What an excellent show! Seeing The Strokes together was a treat! Albert Hammond Jr rocked it out to open up the show as well! What a perfect combo!!! Only thing that is wild is The GA floor of The Chelsea is bouncy. Feels like you're falling into the floor. Your body adjusts, but still wild when the crowd starts jumping to the music. GA better than the seats which are like theatre style seats around the floor.

One of the craziest, coolest concerts I've been to. Julian Casablancas such an amazing voice and it was awesome to see Albert Hammond's band. They were all absolutely incredible and I'm so happy I got to see them. The crowd was amazing, the sit list was perfect, and the talent brought by all of the band members was unforgettable.

The row of seats we were in, in the 200 section next to the stage was bouncing. The Strokes played most of the material from their first album with a few from later records. It was great. I was happy to see them finally achieve this level of success. Selling out MSG is something any band aspires to do.

The Strokes were one of the greatest concerts I've been to. I've been a longtime fan and have always wanted to see them concert, so it was a dream to be able to do so. I had seats kinda far from the stage, but they still were mind-blowing. Seriously, any seat would have been great! If you're a Strokes fan and have the chance to see them live, you won't forget it!!!

The Strokes are one of the best bands around. They are consummate professionals and strive for excellence in their music making and live performances. They are the real deal! It was my 2nd strokes show and would see them 100 more times if the opportunity presented itself. It was amazing to see them play to a sold-out crowd at the most famous arena in the world. The Strokes were so awesome! I don't think they've ever played at MSG or a similarly large venue but their use of lights and the awesome disco ball was so cool. I was pretty far away so it was hard to hear what Julian Casablancas was saying in between songs and he forgot up the lyrics to "I Can't Win" and had a false start in "Last Nite" but all the songs were great anyway. They played mostly older stuff, maybe because their new album isn't very well-received? Anyway, I LOVE The Strokes and would pay just as much or even more to see them again!

Absolutely fabulous show, even though I had real bad seats. The only down side was that The Strokes didn't come on for an encore, not even one song! That was really disappointing. But, they're true rock stars and give a real tight performance -- it almost sounds like their recordings! Very fun.

The Strokes put on an awesome show. This was my fifth time seeing them and it was one of the best. They were all pumped up and looked genuinely happy and excited to be on stage. Julian was loving the crowd and jumped into the pit twice - during "Juicebox" and during the closer, "Take It Or Leave It." Even Nikolai was head banging and got up on the drum stage with Fab to jam out. The setlist was perfect, although I wish they'd played 12:51, but regardless all of the new songs sounded great live. Elvis Costello surprise set was pretty cool, as was when he came out and played during "Taken For a Fool," though his mics were a little off.

The show was absolutely incredible! The five opening songs would have been a sole set in and of themselves. I was so jealous when Julian jumped into the pit...twice! And when he walked over to his "weak side" and sang in the crowd. I wish I wasn't caged in behind the GA Pit section. :( All in all, The Strokes put on a PHENOMENAL show. This was with out a doubt the best show I've ever seen. They were all in great form, sounded AMAZING. Julian was chatting up the audience, which was great, and even joining the crowd during two songs. The show was phenomenal. I got to Devendra Banhart's set kind of late, and I missed Elvis Costello, but when The Strokes came out, everything was just so perfect. Julian Casablancas is literally the best frontman ever. His conversations with the audience and the band were just so hilarious and he's so weird but it just adds to his personality and character. Also, he went into the audience twice! And the band, ugh just so perfect. Fab, Nick, Nikolai, and Albert are so talented. Nick really knows how to shred and Fab killed it on his drum solos. And then they had the disco ball on for several songs, and it just made the concert so much more intimate and special. Plus they had some killer light effects. And then when Elvis Costello came out for "Taken For A Fool", it was like a April Fool's Day surprise! All in all the band did 20 songs and I had a great time. They're one band that you should see before you die, because they really know how to put on a show.

My stomach felt like I were on a roller coaster from being so excited and I had a smile on throughout the entire concert. I am at a loss for words right now, there is a lot I want to say but it all just wants to come out at the same time. I would have loved to be on the floor, I tried to get the best tickets possible but I was in class at the time. The Strokes are my favorite band and being able to see them live meant that I could cross one thing off my bucket list. These guys were outstanding! It souned as if I was playing one of their records but 10 times louder, and I love that. The show is an unforgttable expepericence, however, the security at the venue was disappointing. They did not do anything about the disorder at the show. I had to make my way to the back of the room because I couldn't breathe and the people around me were pulling my hair and tugging me down to the floor. I tried giiving my hand to the man at the front but he did not care to help me. The next morning when I woke up, I was sore and had bruises on my body. Other than that, it was ab amazing night. I would see them again anyday!

It was amazing from start to finish! When they locked in with Barely Legal I completely lost my friends but I didn't care. It was just awesome to be there. And I didn't think I was going to be close to the stage. The crowd kept swaying back and fourth and we all could have kept falling and there was so much sweat after the show everybody looked drenched but it didn't really matter because everyone had a great time including me. I will talk about celebrating my 18th BIRTHDAY with my favorite band in the city that I lived in. It was cool because I could just walk home. I didn't live far from the strip.

I attended the only Strokes concert for NYC in a while at Madison Square Garden on April 1. Their opening act shall remain nameless since the majority of the audience that was walking in decided to walk out and get drinks and snacks because no one was interested. A second mini performance happened 45 minutes later by none other than Elvis Costello himself...the only problem was that no one knew it was him until later on in the evening when he appeared with Julian to sing a song. The Strokes appeared soon after Mr. Costello's performance and they played all their hits and some new songs from their new album Angles, which had been released a week earlier, and about 3/4 of the crowd had already learned the songs to. MSG was sold up to the roof, and the fans sang to every single song. Julian had some comedic moments and I was led to believe that he wasn't drinking water out of the little red cups he carried ever so often across the stage. Several times he jumped into the crowd, and he never lost a note. The sound was amazing! It's not often when you hear a band play and sound as good as their albums since many now depend on reverb machines and technology to enhance their sound...which was not the case here...this was definitely rock and roll at it's best!! My only complaint was that after 90 minutes it was over and no one knew it until they turned the lights up. (According to MSG rules, events end at 11:00 or the band has to pay a hefty fine). This left everyone wanting more but overall, they sang all their hits and favorites and this was definitely one unforgettable concert....I wish they were playing another one here soon.
