What a great ballpark. Weather didn't cooperate, but it's southwest FL in August, rain is a part of the late afternoon agenda here. Amazing folks working there, food was good, and cheap! And there are two for one specials on food and beer up to certain innings in every game. Ballpark is in excellent condition, not a bad view from anywhere in the park. Best deal on the planet for under $15!

even though the stone crabs lost, it was still a great game to watch. the tickets are very reasonable the game was very enjoyable. very nice stadium. the gift shop was a little pricy, but very clean environment. the fireworks display was jaw dropping and it was just a great Friday night event. glad my boyfriend got the tickets for it!

All in all it was great time at the game. There was some really bad calls on the field, but that is that part of the game. The fireworks after the game was the highlight for my friends son. I will say this. If that is the firework show for after a game? I will be planning on going for the fourth of July.

My husband and I just moved to Florida and our neighbors told us about the new stadium and the Charlotte Stone Crabs games. We decided to check it out. I ordered our tickets on line. It was quick and easy! I was able to select great seats, just behind the home team dugout. We picked up the tickets at the will call booth. The seats were great and the baseball was amazing! We had Philly Cheesesteaks ( almost as good as Pat's or Gino's in South Philly). The Charlotte Stone Crabs won in the last inning. What a fabulous night it was! We plan to go back next week for another game.

The new stadium lived up to our expectations. The atmosphere was that of a major league game without the trouble of parking. The concessions were good and the staff was very friendly. The cost is minimal and the teams are professional. We will be going back.

The game was delayed 90 minutes due to rain, and then the grounds crew decided to dump the water from the tarp in center field, thus making the field unplayable and unsafe. This is Florida and it rains quite a bit during the summer. I hope the Stone Crabs organization gets on the ball and addresses this.

Had the best seats in the house - right behind homeplate. Clean, new stadium - easy to get around - staff was excellent. Great nite plus Stone Crabs won in bottom of the 9th. PS Don't miss the $1 drafts and philly cheese steak sandwichs. If we didn't have children in tow, we would have partaken of the specials at the outfield bar.

My wife and I have five children. The Charlotte Sports Park is the most amazing spring training facility I have ever had the pleasure of watching a ball game. Besides being completely renovated they included a playground for the children to play when impatience grows from sitting. The grass berms along the left and right field lines offer a great place for children to get up close to their favorite players, this also gives the perception of a larger stadium. I will continue to watch games at this venue and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't already attended.

This was our first experience of live Baseball in the USA. The venue was easy to find and the staff very pleasant and welcoming. As the Stone Crabs had already qualified many of their players had been promoted leaving them at a obvious disadvantage. After an hours rain delay at the bottom of the sixth the game continued with about 20 die hard spectators left. Local staff gave a detailed explanation of how things worked with the club and wider baseball set up. Overall a good night out with friendly people.

My girlfriend and I like to change it up, do different things. Soooo I said let's go to a ball game. We started the night by having dinner on Englewood Beach then off to the game. It was my first time at Charlotte Sports Park and a Stone Crabs game. What a surprise. It was easy to get there and easy to get to our seats. It was a wonderful evening and the Crabs won. The evening was capped off with a fantastic fireworks display. It could not have been a better night. We will be back! Thank you.

For the first game of the season, there was nothing special. Most disturbing was the cost of a bottle of water at $3.75. Hard to bring a family to the old ball park and treat them. The parking lot is dusty and with a slight rain your clean car is filthy

Sadly the night did not turn out well which had nothing to do with Ticketmaster. The stadium seats are cramped and i'm no giant 6'1 200 lbs. The venue ran out of chicken in the 3rd inning and it was wing night so go figure. The kicker was that it took us an hour to get into the stadium due to a lack of police and stadium coordination with traffic control and we got to our seats in the 2nd inning. Leaving was even worse with no traffic control and obviously drunk drivers dashing for their cars, thats what happens when you serve into the late innings. The staff was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed somebody in management needs to get their act together I would like to give the place another try but it will have to be on a non event night.

Stone crabs played horribly, but watching the game was great! Seats were great, although I think there are probably very few poor seats. :) Only issue we had was with a young lady directly in front of us that repeatedly smoked her hukkah pipe, in spite of her being asked to stop (especially annoying to my 6-yr old son). The fireworks display was AWESOME!!

Considering that baseball is a sport where the players are just slighly more active than the spectators, it was a relaxing event. The stadium is very clean and the staff very courteous and helpful. The food is average concession stand fare. If they also offered high quality healthier food choices, I would go to games on a regular basis and would rate it a 5.

The stadiun is well maintained, comfortable (I am 6'4" and 300# and the seats were just fine!), clean, staffed with many helpful and friendly employees and volunteers and ther were great values to be had every day of the week for food and beverage. Parking was convienent, however, the only shortcoming of the day was the $4 parking fee. This was an amazing experience for my 5yr old and myself!

A great afternoon spent with friends getting close and personal while enjoying a baseball game. The handicapped seating allowed our companion to attend a sporting event in his powered chair and remain with his companions. It was our first trip to the ballpark to see a game. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the seats were comfy and the game exciting. We sat through a few innings of thunder and lightning. By the top of the 6 th we would give the experience two thumbs p but had to use one hand to hold our umbrella. It is typical weather for Florida but the event was very worthwhile

Could hear crickets chirp it was so quiet. Except for the nonstop advertisements by the announcer. The adds were tooooo toooo tooo tooo many. The stadium was empty, I was mad I paid for the expensive seats. No need. People that work at the stadium did a lot of the events that are meant for fans. There was no crowd participation for Take me Out to the Ballgame or "Charge". You could have fit everyone in one small section.

I was blowen away, what a great facility. I was really surprised at the team and how professonal they play. I would rather watch the StoneCrabs than the pro teams. They play for the love of the game and not just money. A great price for the Tickets and seats. I go back to ohio at the end of April but I want to see at least another game before going back. I have told everyone I know what a great time I had. I went on Dollar night and a couple of hot dogs and a beer for $3. If you bought this a a pro game you would have to take out a payment book. I am retired and can't afford pro teams games which makes the stone Crabs even more attractive.

The opening day celebration for the Stone Crabs was just incredible! The team was brought out in antique cars and the crowd loved it! You could feel the excitement throughout the stadium. Well it rained so we didn't get to stay for they whole event and that included fireworks (4th of July). Seating is cramped, knees hit the backs of seat in front of you. For two 22 oz sodas, a bottled beer (16oz), and a small bottle of water...be prepared to spend $16 per round.

Facility is clean and nice, great job by local law enforcement with traffic and getting fans to parking lots safe. Poor job by Stone Crabs letting folks know fireworks would still be held on time due to heavy rainfall. Most of us were all standing outside under cover and no one let any of us know what the plan was for fireworks, one of the main reasons a lot of us attended.
