Queen Latifah

Queen latifah puts on a great show of standards. She engages the audience and the band to create a great ambiance.

She was the best I have seen and the venue was perfect for it. I had no problem with the cost of the seats and the crowd size will definitely see another show here.

It s truly an amazing opportunity to watch and listen to her! She has the unique ability to slay every genre- blissful show!

The Queen still got it!!! I Love this woman! She is absolutely amazing, and such an inspiration to sooo many young black woman who truly want to succeed in there lives!! She makes my believe that you can do anything if you really truly want it bad enough!! She gave an outstanding concert that showed that she still does it from her Heart and not just for the Money!! You can always tell at the end of the concert because if they are just about the $$$ when the concert is over, it's over & they are out!! When her concert was over, there was such an outstanding ovation & applause for so long that she ended up coming back out again, actually twice, and performing a couple more songs, AND, giving a very Real & Hopeful talk about the worlds current Political situation! Sending a message to not get frustrated & look for the good in people, and that we are gonna get threw this!!! I Love this Lady, and all I keep bragging about is that "I saw my girl, I saw her in real life" Xoxoxoxo Yesssss she is on of the Real Ones!!!!

The Queen Latifah concert was a great concert. However, the concert was only hour and half. I wanted to see more from her.

Queen Latifa really does deliver. I'm glad I am a fan because the advertising in Seattle made us think she was doing a Jazz/Blues concert. The music was still amazing. The venue was very disappointing. There was little to no traffic control. The building itself was not made for high-end talent. No sound proofing, no padding, or buffering....and apparently not much of a sound-check. We had to really focus to hear Queen Latifa because her band was overwhelming her voice....and she has a very powerful voice. Emerald Casino should really invest in their venue if they are going to keep bringing in high ticket-priced talent.

She was interactive, engaging, witty, incredible performer! One downside was at times the sound guy drowned out her and the band.

What a fantastic night ! She was amazing !!! One of the best event I have ever been , she truly brought the jazz in the house .

Roy Ayers opened with a great set of familiar and some not so familiar to me (but still excellent). Latifah came out and blew a the bowl away with a show that was somehow intimate and grand at the same time. She made you feel like she was there with old friends. Can't wait for the next time she is in Los Angeles again.

She was awesome! Did a mix of her old stuff and new stuff (including some from her Dana Owens CD). She even did a couple of rap songs! Roy Ayers was great also...still has those great jazzy notes. The evening was overcast but we avoided rain! Overall loved it all!

Her smooth voice was appreciated in every selection. She was confident, She was smooth. She was fun to watch, and a joy to listen to. Thanks for bringing the Queen to the Hollywood Bowl

This concert was by far way better then the last I attended. She n Him was some what of a disappointment. With out M.Ward that group is super weak. Roy Ayers n Q.Latifah was a night of Veteran jazz with a modern twist bing Q.Lat. Great show would go see them again!

Queen Latifah was awesome. She puts on an amazing show. I was unfamiliar with most of the body of her musical works though I am a huge fan of her acting career. Her persona on stage seems to reflect her true self. As such, she is generous, kind, has a huge voice, incredibly entertaining and had wonderfully sensitive moments in her performance as well.

Excellent show. Latifah is a great singer. If you can see her performance go and enjoy!

Queen Latifah FABULOUS .... I personally would have preferred a few more of her rap songs however she has transitioned from rap to jazz WONDERFULLY .... Roy Ayers hmmmm well I just expected more not so hot maybe KEM or WILL DOWNING would have been a better choice

The show was fantastic ! The place was packed and the energy in there was unbelievable . This was my first time seeing Queen Latifa in concert. She should do more events like this. The final number with he choir from Chicago was very moving.

Enjoyed her Dana Owens voice. I would recommend and totally see her show again!

Queen Latifah is a shining star - she sings with style and has her wonderful life story to tell. I like that she brought the Chicago teen group to LA to sing for the concert. Keep on keepin' on Queen!

Loved this venue and loved Queen Latifah even more! Played several of the Jazz standards and even rapped twice! Love her! Can't wait to see her again.

GREAT show! Really eclectic selection of music and lots of fun. Queen Latifah has great personality, stage presence and an amazing voice.

Roy Ayers was the perfect opening for Queen Latifah. The Hollywood Bowl staff is also so accommodating and helpful.

Easily one of the best performances I have attended! The full range of the diversity of Queen Latifah's musical talent was on display. I made a special trip from New Orleans to attend this event, and I would easily do it again--awesome!!!

Absolutely fabulous and refreshing. She was funny and entertaining. Her voice was primo. The renditions of the songs were tastefully arranged and executed with virtual perfection. Although performing jazz which tends to mellow you out, she kept it lively. She acknowledged her audience on the floor and in the nose bleed seats. She looked amazing and she knew it but never did she focus on herself. She made us feel it was all about us and our enjoying the music. She was the perfect host. Loved it! Didn't want it to end.

Great concert! Her voice was beautiful; her sense of humor was spot-on!

Queen Latifah did covers as if they were her own. She sounded great and look fab. I will see her again.
