American Girl Fashion Show

The show was amazing! The girls had an awesome experience!!

My little 8 year old girl did not like it , because the models were not similar to the dolls. the theme about american girl is to buy a doll similar to the girl. first half was better since they gave history on the dolls but second half was boring for her and she made us leave the theater.

What a great way to raise money for an important cause and still have fun! The girls were beautiful and brought smiles to everyone in the audience! Cannot wait to do it again next year!

Excellent event, highly recommended for any young lady who is into the American Girl scene. The lunch is pretty good, too.

Very elegant event. The tables were decorated very nice.

The show and the events that surrounded the show were wonderful. The staff at the event were very helpful especially the Crown Center Ticket processor at the front door. It was a very cold raining day and we were able to get out of rain in the lobby.

We were very impressed. My daughter had such a good time. They had vendors selling doll clothing and accesories, and they have salon students who will do your daughter's nails and style the doll's hair. Just arrive early and bring some extra cash for it. There were door prizes and my daughter won a door prize worth $28! The drawings were a little disorganized but worked out in the end. The meal was a girl's dream. Popcorn, cotton candy, chicken tenders, carrot sticks, pudding and pink lmonade. The girls also got an American Girl paper dolls kit to take home. I recommend buying tickets early. It may sound pricy but it is a good show and all goes to charity. Looking forward to next year's show!

What a fun and exciting event to benefit the Child Advocacy Center. My daughter was one of the models for Isabelle, the girl of the year, and the whole experience was wonderful!

My daughter had a blast! The decorations were lovely. She enjoyed not only getting her hair done, but also her dolls. The show ran smoothly! All in all it was a wonderful experience. The only suggestion I have...if you have dirt cake again, please use regular gummy worms, not the sour ones. They made the whole dessert taste sour.

Fun event. My granddaughter really liked it. Any child who is into the American Girl doll scene would likely enjoy going.

My daughter, age 7, and I went to the American Girl Fashion Show and had wonderful time. They had vendors outside the ballroom to do the little girls hair & nails for minimal cost (all going directly to Child Adovacy). GET THERE EARLY!! The fashion show was first rate and it was so much fun for my daughter to get to see all the dolls come to life as models. The room and tables was beautiful and the message of the American Girl was so great for girlsand mom's alike. It was a great time for us.

This was a fun & exciting event that all little girls should attend!!!

The fashion show was good. The food was not good and not what I expected to receive. I will definitely go next year. We really enjoyed it.

We loved the food and the fashion show. We wanted to buy some American Girl doll stuff there but it was only available through catalog. Loved all the vendors. My girls and I have a great time. We can't wait until next year!

I brought my seven-year-old daughter to this event for some special mom-daughter time. It was really well done. We enjoyed the fashion show so much and the paper doll goody bag at the conclusion was the icing on the cake. It was also lovely to support such a good cause. My only complaint was that the food was absolutely dreadful.

My daughter was one of the historical American Girl models this year, portraying "Kit," and so it was an extra special time for us. There was a great turnout and everyone had a great time! You can get your hair done, your doll's hair done and even your picture taken before the show or during intermission. I would highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the show. We've been going for 5 years, and it's fun meeting new people.

It was gorgeous and well done! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves.

The children done a spectacular job and were beautiful. It was fun to watch and fashionably educational. The vendors were also nice to visit and buy products and services from at such reasonable prices.

I would like this event to be offered in another part of the state.

The whole event was wonderful and benefited a great cause, preventing Child Abuse. The tickets may seem expensive but it all goes to benefit victims of child abuse. At the table (which was decorated very nicely) you had a choice of water or pink lemonade. My daughter is 9 and she felt like a princess! They had popcorn in a decorative bag and cookies available. The show started with girls dressed like the AG Dolls with matching doll and narrated to describe the era. At intermission, you can attend booths to get face painting, hair and nails, pictures taken, and various other beauty products are available to look at (if you arrive earlier than the scheduled start time then you can visit all of these booths with more convenience). All of the profits from the booths went to preventing child abuse. There was also a souvenir shop for AG. Inside, you could have your AG doll's hair done by miniature booths (a big hit with the girls there). After intermission was over. They served icecream which was delicious!! And a fresh fruit cup. Very good food. They also give you the most current AG magazine and a program (at the start of the show). The girls continue with a show of sleepwear and then all of the girls come out at the end. When you leave they hand you a goodybag with lots of fun things for a young girl to do. Overall I would definately recommend this event for anyone interested! Especially if your daughter loves American Girl

This was the 2nd time that we attended this event and it was fabulous as usual! Kudos to all those involved in its success! This year, my daughter got to be on stage after Intermission and so it even more special! We plan to be back next year!

This was our first time attending the American Girl Fashion Show to benefit the Child Advocacy Center in Fayetteville and we were delighted! Everything from the decorations to the photo opportunities to dessert selections were very well done. My 6-year-old daughter loved seeing the new fashions, and in fact, wants to be a model next year! Happy 25th Birthday, American Girl!

My daughter loved the fashion show! She enjoyed all of the fashions and stories. We felt that it upheld the standards that we had seen in NY at the American Girl store and Cafe. Excellent Value!
