Langhorne Slim

Langhorne has the most soul of any artist I have seen perform live. He puts all his heart and soul into his shows. New Year's with him, Sassparilla and Jesse Adler was the best way to end a grueling year and start a fresh one. We see him every time we can!

The Sky s the Limit with Skyway Man. He immediately connected with the audience, and is an accomplished musician. He played , piano, guitar, and sang with an incredible range. He should have been the main event.

ever the consummate storyteller, langhorne slim effortlessly weaves personal tales with his heartfelt songwriting. langhorne slim drew widely from his catalog of songs, took a few requests, and did a beautiful cover of john prine s angel from montgomery. he welcomes attendees to sing along. he encourages us to take the love we feel and spread it out into the world, which is what we need. the audience at the birchmere was attentive and truly there to receive the gift of langhorne slim. great shows happen when both the artist and the crowd are invested. 10/10 would do again.

Langhorne was great as usual. He so better live . Even my Wife loved it and she is not a Langhorne fan, she said the same hes better live.

This is my third time seeing him, was as good as ever.

Amazing band to see live. Their energy is infectious. Could not stop singing and dancing with them. Will definitely be at their next show when they return to NY.

If you get a chance to see Langhorne Slim, GO! He is a beautiful songwriter and real, raw singer. What a show! One of the best live singers I have ever seen.

Fillmore was great; crowd was wonderful. Matrimony was favorite; but really enjoyed Langhorne Slim and Unlikely Candidate. Hope 106.5 plays Obey Your Guns a lot! Very strange when the governor showed up when Langhorne Slim was on stage. Looking forward to another show at Fillmore.

The Last Bison has a rich, complete sound. I loved that they brought some serious energy, but they also balanced and blended well. The quality was so high that it sounded exactly like the album at times. I will definitely go see them again when I get a chance. Langhorn Slim was OK.

I came for River City Extension, but loved Langhorne Slim as well! Only complaint is that my date didn't want to dance!

This was a high energy show, with a GREAT opening band. Langhorne, per usual, put on a fantastic show!

If you like humor, energy and guys who know how to play, this was your show! This was my introduction to Langhorne Slim and they did not disappoint. Sean (aka Slim) had the audience under his command by poetically straddling that fine line between passion and whimsy. His song writing capability seems to be well beyond his years. "The Way We Move" is an album that runs the gamut of emotions. It will have you tapping your toes and dancing and then have you crying. Shame on anyone who has the opportunity to see these guys live and pass is it up.

I haven't stood for a show in 10 years so when I booked Langhorne Slim I was expecting him to earn this sacrifice. In sum: it ended too soon. I'd have stood for twice as long. This guy's got it all - sincere music, stage personality and a band of terrific musicians to make it alive. I would go again, and yes, stand if I had to.

As always, fantastic show. So much feeling in his performance. Jackpot is a really cool crackerbox. Loved it.

I was first introduced to Langhorne by randomly searching iTunes looking for something different and found the most captivating band I have ever heard. The lyrics, the music, the stage presence, the energy and captivating performance make this band my all time favorite! I have seen them live twice and already planning two more shows in the next two months. They don't need a studio or any effects to make them riveting, unplugged without a microphone and they will have your feet tapping and your heart pounding.This is a band that deserves your attention.

Super sweet. Super, super sweet. Sassparilla kicked a ton of ass, and Langhorne Slim, was, well, Langhorne Slim. Energy in a can. Or a fedora and boots.

A perfect venue to spend New Year's Eve. Langhorne Slim is fantastic and The Law rocked it hard. So glad I went. His sad songs touch me and his raucous ones are great.

Best New Years Eve in years! Sasparilla is one of my most favorite bands, and they didn't disappoint at all!! In fact, we drove from Seattle to see the show and were SO happy we did.. They sang some oldies that they don't play much anymore b/c their past singer and drummer were visiting!!! I was in heaven. They rock. And, to get to see Langhorn Slim live was such an amazing treat too!!! They were incredible! I will see them again for sure... A great pairing too. I missed the first singer, unfortunately, but I'm sure she was awesome:) Overall a fantastic show, one to remember, and a great venue!!

One of the best shows I have ever seen. Amazing small and intimate venue and a great band. The opening acts were also some of the best opening acts I've seen in a while. Normally you are waiting for the openers to get off the stage, not last night!

Very good performer. Puts a lot of energy into his show and you can tell he really enjoys what he's doing. I especially liked how he talked with the audience and showed his good humor. Definitely will go to more of his shows in the future.

amazing show. probably the best show i've ever been to. he played pretty much all of the songs i most wanted to hear (except lord) and the set list was a good mix of old and new stuff. in short, they rocked. after the show was over, the whole band came out and just hung out in the bar area, meeting, talking, and taking pictures with everyone who wanted to. this was just a great show all around. i can't wait til he comes back around!

I wasn't sure what to expect out of this show, but to say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement! It was very crowd interactive and energetic. I would see it again in a heartbeat.

Langhorne Slim is always an excellent show!!! I've seen them 4 times now and would recommend them to everyone!! I can't wait for them to come back to the area. You better believe i'll be at the show :)

I've been to my fair share of concerts and have had some great experiences along the way. This show hands down was my favorite. The energy and crowd connection is amazing. The addition of the banjo and piano is perfect. I'm not sure really what else to say other than GO SEE THEM!! It is worth 10 times the ticket price. And also, they are just good people who don't mind chatting with you after the show. Don't miss them!

Show was great. Very entertaining! Dawes was just as kick ass as Langhorne!

I love the 3rd album. It just keeps getting better with Langhorne Slim :) If you don't know, now you know.
