Southwest Louisiana Black Rodeo

This was my 3rd year attending and each year it s getting better.

RCA (Real Cowboy Association) always puts on a great show!

Had a great time.... My 6 year old son really enjoyed it. Now he wants a horse.

My seats were great but the show is getting less interesting. Every year, the same things take place. The only new part I ve noticed was when the two guys hopped on the horse together. Y all need to bring back the Louisiana vs Texas competition and/or the kids riding the baby sheeps. In addition, I wasn t a fan of J Paul s performance. Also, the food and drinks are so expensive!!!! I know that that s the price for the Cajundome but that is ridiculous!! However, I m uncertain if I ll be back next year.

Once upon a time this was the event to be at....not so much now. Riders can t stay on for 3 seconds let alone past 8. This is more to go to for the MC and the music and not the actual bull riding. It s time for RCA to step it back up or this event will be gone before you know it. Even the crowd has died down tremendously!

It s not like it used to be to short not really entertained no more

I enjoyed myself my family that travel with me this year they really enjoyed it so we will be back for 2018

Always enjoy the black rodeo. Its an awesome fun, family event.

As always, my son and I enjoyed the show. I believe that it need to start at least an hour earlier. The kids were sleeping before the event was over.

My children truly enjoyed themselves! It will become an annual family event for us!

I enjoyed the show! Fun for the family. My only problem was with the venue. There were no signs directing the people and started late.

I really enjoyed the show!! I attend it just about every year. The only thing I would recommend is to bring the little kids riding on the sheep back. I took my two year old son with me because he loves horses. I know he would've enjoyed seeing the kids riding. Besides, that part of the show was extremely cute!

We enjoy everything. The rodeo amazing, we feel like we was at the final all over again to start the season out right truly amazing.

My family and myself go every year and once again it was AMAZING.....my little boy is already excited and looking toward to next year....I jus wish the bands could play a little longer and I miss the whole Texas vs Louisiana sections....

We being going to the rodeo for the last 7 years. I fell like there are a lot of cut back.Performs from the riding to entainment. The sound of music you can't understand the words the artist is say,because of poor quality from sound in the dome.

We for starters it started 30 mins late. Then it was like a forced concert, they would have the rodeo for about 10-15 mins and then stop for someone to perform for like 30 mins. That happened 4 times. It lasted till almost 11:30pm

This was my first time watching the actual rodeo activities and I enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to next year!

The rodeo was great. The entertainment was amazing . The concessions were good also. I will be ready to come back next year.,.

I loved every minute except the performers they could have been better but the rodeo was great can't wait til next year

Gambling band was great! Despite the weather overall great atmosphere, I'm looking forward to next year!!

the rodeo was ok but the best time to me was the tailgating .the rodeo skipped some of the events the relay against the different states, an the kids events at the end where the kids get to ride the sheeps like bulls i had a friend that brought his son to to get in that event an he was very upset that it was cut out next year i think i ll just go to tailgate an skip the rodeo.

GREAT FAMILY FUN! PRE RODEO CONCERT WAS AWSOME!!!!

The pace of the rodeo was great, but there was a lack of varied events. Something should have been incorporated for the children.

My family and I had a blast this past weekend in the Flats especially at the tailgating. Can't wait until it roll around next. Will definitely attend again.

It was my first time going to the black rodeo and I enjoyed it. My family and I had a good time at the rodeo and enjoyed the zydeco music. I will go next year,if I'm not working. This is great! I'm glad I enjoyed myself.

Loved every minute of the show. Can't wait until next year!!!

Overall it was GREAT! Just wish J.Paul music would of stayed playing seems like the speaker went out!!
