Cartel

When I think back to the early 2000's, the first thing I remember is riding in he car with my parents listening to Chroma. My family LOVED Cartel. Like a lot. Anytime they played in or near Atlanta they were there. It was cool to see such a great band that came out of the same area as us. I never got to go to any of the shows because I was too young. So when I saw they were doing a 10 year anniversary tour, I had to get tickets. It just happened to be coming up on my mom's birthday, needless to say, she was ecstatic. So my parents, my uncles, and their, well now, wives, and me bought tickets to the show in Atlanta GA at the Masquerade. It was so cool cause that was the same venue they saw Cartel play at many years ago. Anyways, on to the concert. It was AMAZING!! I didn't even get puked on. But seriously, all of the fans there, singing along to the songs, it was incredible. It was my first 'real' concert, and all I can say is, it was worth the wait. If you have a chance to see Cartel, please take it. You won't regret it.

What a night! All of the bands were simply amazing. ESPECIALLY Hit The Lights & Cartel! My mind is blown!

Cartel has been one of my favorite bands for many years now, and they did not disappoint at their concert on Tuesday night! They put on such an energetic and lively show that makes you want to sing right along with them; and the crowd did! I wish they would come back on tour more often. It's always such an incredible time!!

There were a few tech problems at the venue which really haulted the show, however, it qwas to no fault of cartel. Once the show started they sounded great and their performance was awesome. It was the first time i had seen them and will definitely see them again, i really recommend their concerts.

I have seen Cartel in concert twice before this event. I was very happy and impressed both of the previous shows. This event was less stellar however. They did not engage the crowd very well and the sound was sub-par. The speakers were way too loud; my ears are literally still ringing and the concert ended about 20 hours ago. I was unable to hear Will, the lead singer, over the instrumentation. Also, as said before, I would have liked them to involve the crowd more. One last thing that put me off was the three girls standing in the background onstage and off to the side of the stage at times. You could see them looking out into the crowd and making comments to one another about some of the people in the audience. They were even mocking some of the fans and their actions. I am not sure who the girls were, I am assuming they are wives or girlfriends of the band members. Either way, it was unprofessional and a bit rude. Cartel is a great band but they need to step it up a bit in my opinion.

I'm so used to the venue that I know exactly where to be so I can see everybody at once! This concert was so amazing! All Bands that played killed it and can't wait for them to come back soon

The Cartel concert was the best concert ever! i enjoyed all the bands so much! I had the best time ever!

Great space, go to the Basement for a concert if you can! Every band was good, Cartel was great... my only complaint is that I didn't hear my favorite song. Just have to go again next time and hope!

The show was absolutely AWESOME. What a great mix of bands that each put on a GREAT show with their own unique style and sound. Can't wait to see them again!

I have been a fan of Cartel since they first started and have been waiting for both their new album and a full on tour for almost two years. The show was AMAZING...a great mixture of their old and new stuff....great crowd response and relationship with the band. Although the venue was packed to capcity it was all worth it! I am a little biased but for people who haven't seen CARTEL it is totally worth it...so catch them next time their in town. Also the opening acts were fun and entertaining as well. My personal favorite was This Providence...great band out of Seatle. But The Bigger Lights and The Summer Set were very entertaining as well!

the show was awesome! Although this providence is my favorite band, cartel most def stole the show. THey were amazing and the lead singers vocals couldn't have been better! AH! AWESOME!

Cartel was once again one of the best concerts I have EVER been to! They rocked hardcore. The guys were very personable with everyone, as they always are! The venue was small but made it feel more like the guys were there for "you". The opening bands weren't too shabby. I have become a new fan of The Summer Set. Overall pretty frickin' amazing and can't think of a better way to spend Halloween!

This was the 2nd time I've seen Cartel--the first, 2 years ago, they were fronting the concert. This time, as the main headliners, just as amazing. GO SEE THEM & BUY THEIR STUFF.

This concert was amazing! Even though will was sick he still sounded AMAZING!!! They are one of my favorite bands and I hope they come back again soon.

I had never seen the opening bands before but they were all pretty good....cartel was amazing..ive only een them live one other time like 4 yrs ago before they were big....they are still the same fun guys though!

All the bands that played last night where very enjoyable. Everyone was out in the lobby after the show to talk to the fans at leisure. The staff was very polite, and helpful. Definitely recommend the venue and going to see the tour.

The sound was incredible. The drums had this edge that was unbelievable for a live sound. Everyone was on, no obvious mistakes. It was a spot on show especially for Will- being sick.

was beyond words, in a good way! it was well worth being out on a school night

Cartel played a great show. They played a great variety of songs from all three of their albums.

The band was amazing, as usual... the venue I wasn't impressed with though because, even though it was clean and nice, the concert was at least an hour late if not more, and when cartel came on the microphone for Will wasn't even working!! Will was a good sport about it, but that really sucks I felt so bad for him. So I think they couldv'e done a better job setting up, it seemed kind of disorganized and hurried. But Cartel is amazing live, this was my 2nd time seeing them in concert and they are just amazing, love them!!!!!! And I got the guitar pick!!!!

All the bands were really good. Ofcourse Cartel was my favorite, but I definately got turned on to some new great bands. The Summer Set was really good and has become another one of my favorite bands now. I was a little anxious to see Cartel so I got impatient in waiting for them to come on. There were 3 bands that played before Cartel went on and it seemed like it took forever for them to come on and i got really aggrevated. But- once cartel played, it all went away and I had the time of my life!!

This show was awesome!! All of the bands were great! The Summer Set was so much better than I expected, and This Providence totally blew me away. Cartel was incredible. I had been waiting for about 4 years to see Cartel live, and it was so worth the wait. I was so impressed by their ability to play so awesome live. Plus, they were great and totally didn't mind taking pictures with the fans afterward! All in all, a great show that I would totally recommend!

This show was good because every act was exciting and different from the last. The Bigger Lights started the show with great energy. The Summer Set's catchy, fun songs put everyone in a good mood and This Providence's ability to draw in the crowd helped the show really come alive. And of course, after waiting probably 6 years to see Cartel, I was NOT let down!! I was happily able to live out my grade school dream.

the show was awesome. the trocadero is one of my favorite venues to see a band at. the bigger lights, the summer set, and this providence opened up for cartel and they were all great even though i was there to see this providence/cartel :] but they are definitely worth seeing!

I went to see Hit the Lights and Cartel and they did not disappoint. The opening bands were great too. There was absolutely nothing about the show itself that I would change (except set-up times in between sets) and the venue was perfect - I loved how small it was, so it felt even just slightly more intimate than I'm used to. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely attend again.

Loved seeing my favorite band for a second time at masquerade. Awesome as always. Only critique would be for the venue to have better labelled entrances so we don't wait in the wrong line.

The home show for the Chroma Tour was amazing to see. Everyone was singing along and dancing. Played the entire album. Glad I went to the show. :)

I've loved Cartel since I was just starting college - I would have sat there all day to see them and they certainly didn't disappoint. That being said, I was less than pleased that the tickets said the show started at 6:00 when, that was only when the doors opened. While my boyfriend and I enjoyed a couple drinks before the show started, there were THREE opening acts and Cartel didn't come on until after 9:00. The first band, Driver Friendly, was pretty much terrible. TEAM* was good and I plan to look up some of their music. Hit The Lights could have halved their set and that would have been perfect for us. Again, Cartel was fantastic and it was worth sitting through the opening acts to see them. But, I would think twice before seeing them again or at least show up much later.

I have seen both Cartel and Andy Albert several times when Andy was in Holiday Parade. I'm so glad I could continue to support my favorite Atlanta band again. They have always put on amazing shows! And the Christmas show was no exception with Santa and Mrs. Claus taking pictures with fans during and after the show. Even though Will Pugh lost his voice briefly, he was such a trooper. I was so impressed.

Cartel rocked it. For the 10th time! I will never miss one of their shows.

This was the first time I have been to The Basement and the first Cartel show i been to. Cartel was amazing and i will definately be going back to The Basement soon!

This band has continually rocked, all 3 times I've seen them at the Basement. BUT it is very difficult to hear the lead vocals unless I plug my ears. I try to make sure I stand in the middle or farther back, but each time I visit the Basement, my ears are almost in pain. I did wear earplugs last time, which helped. Usually my ears ring after concerts, but this is the only place I actually have felt pain. Either way, it's always been worth my pain.

Me ,my sister ,niece,and daughter had the most fun ever . Tha look on the girls faces were priceless . I will be attending next year. .

The show was great. My only complaint would be that at the end of the event none of the DJs came back on the stage to thank everyone for coming and thank the artists for being there. It just ended kind of awkward with Boys like Girls leaving the stage and the lights came up. It was just weird.

the concert was just sooo amazing.. not to mention I SANG TAYLOR SWIFTS PART IN TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE ON THE STAGE WITH BOYS LIKE GIRLS. it was just awesome. i loved cartel!

I most definitely loved this concert. It was extremely fun & entertaining, even between artist. It wasn't too crowded and the staff was very friendly. The parking wasn't bad & it was an overall great experience!

So, I went to The Maine's concert at the Masquerade in Atlanta and Cartel made a suprise appearance which was seriously epic! The were better live than The Maine and I am a mega fan of that band! I used to LOVE the song Honestly by Cartel but haven't heard anythng else by them, now I am going and buying their old music! They were so amazing! Actually it was the maine guys and another dude playing acoustic guitar and singing from Cartel! If they read this, THANK YOU! I love Cartel now and am buying your music! Much love from GA! Come back to another concert :)

Overall really good show. Got there a little late but was able to catch the danderous summer, there were actually quite good. Cartel came on and just oozed energy the while time they were up. The one thing I have to complain about is while their first cd was the most popular, it is still 6 years old. They should have played a lot more music from thier newer album rather than 3-4 songs. But overall, all songs rocked!!!

every single band that played at the crazy donkey last night were so amazing i was so impressed by every one of them! I know love big city lights and Artist vs. Poet! and cartel and stereo skyline were such a perfect ending :D

I saw Cartel with 30h!3 in Johnstown. I saw them at warped tour 3 or 4 years ago before the Cartel in the bubble MTV show. This is the 4th time I saw them and they still sound awesome!! Great vocals! 30h!3 had great energy but the vocals don't even compare. Great show!

Another awesome show at the Maquerade by Atlanta's Cartel! They played all the fan favorites off their three lp albums, and sounded flawless. One of their opening acts, The Summer Set, was equally impressive.

I drove up with some friends from Florida to see the concert. I was pleased that Ticketmaster was able to helped me out through some difficulties I had with making some changes with my ticket order. Overall the experience was fun and I learned a lot. Cartel was by far the highlight of the show. Thanks ticketmaster for helping me go.

This concert was one of the best I have ever gone to. All the bands had amazing performances and sounded great live. The added last show antics made it a little more interesting to say the least but it was an amazing concert.

The venue, Masquerade, was really unique and it added a lot of atmosphere to an already amazing show. Cartel and all their opening bands were very talented and high-energy and they interacted well with a crowd. They sound just as good live as they do on the CD, and they make a live performance unforgettable with quirky pranks and antics. Overall, totally worth my $25!

finally they came to town! The show was great, started with a small band from california who had some classic punk style sound. The summer set was good, I was pleasantly surprised. This providence I have seen 3 times now, and they don't disappoint. Cartel played for an hour! they were back to back songs, and he totally rocked it out. Sound was awesome, venue was a little large for the crowd. I will see them again when i get another chance!

Cartel really put on an amazing show. Would recommend any Cartel fan to see them live. Their CD's are very good but live they are stand out.

An amazing night, the opening acts were awesome. I think that Dave from This Providence might be related to Roland Orzabal from Tears For Fears? Which are one of my Top Faves for years now. Cartel Rocks and engages the audience to be a part of something so special and unique! The Troubadour is a great place to see musicians, the venue has so much history and one can feel the place oooozzzzzzzzzze with talent of yesteryears gone by. The FOOD at Soul Kitched was prepared with such care and precision, I thought that the chef ought try out for the Food Network.
