Every band (all 5) was exceptionally talented. Black Dahlia and White Chapel were amazing! The band that stood out the most, and definitely most exceptional in every way that's great, was FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE! They were MUCH better than I thought... and, I knew they'd be PHANTASTIC!

Alterbeast kicked off this event and they were amazing. They would have stolen the show if it was not for Eddie and his Suicide Silence band mates. Chelsea Grin and Black Dahlia Murder were good too, but wane in comparison IMO. I was basically unfamilar with Alterbeast's stuff, only having heard a tune or two before, but THAT is going to change. Suicide Silence.. We had a somber moment as their stage was being set, missing Mitch and all, but Eddie, as was done on You Can't Stop Me, showed that he is the PERFECT new singer for this band. He was flawless. He did NOT miss a lick on ANY song and Mark, Alex, Chris and Dan were in fine form as always. I wish I could follow these guys around on tour and see them every night. EVERY night. C'mon POWERBALL! lolz

Dahlia continues to be one of the greatest bands I've ever seen live and the energy from the crowd was insane. The venue is perfect for metal shows and I'd love to play there myself. Everything was run smoothly, security were nice people and The Black Dahlia Murder tore it up as always

BDM are the best at what they do, enough said. From Trevor's screams and growls to Ryan's technical solos to Shannon's blast beats. Pure perfection.

if you are a metal fan you know TBDM destroys it live! Obscura (from germany) opened just before them and killed it too! Perfect size venue!

The performances were awesome. Augury exhibited a suprising personality and live aptitude (bassist was phenomenal!), Obscura did a very good job, and Black Dahlia Murder KILLED IT!!

The Black Dahlia Murder show was an overall good experience. From the opening bands to the main event was good. The venue was not big and it was a standing venue but I enjoyed it. It was nice to be able to be so close to the performers and meet them.

Black Dahlia Delivered as usual!!!! They put on a great show and the pits were sick!!! Super nice guys too!!! Kalakia opened up as the first band and they were really good! Gonna go see them again with Deicide 3/14. Next band up was Hatesphere and they were awesome too!!! That was my first time seeing them, loved it!!! Next up was Augury, not my kinda metal, didn't care for them much, no movement on stage, plus their mic's needed to be turned up, could barely hear the singer. Next up was Obscura, they were excellent!! Killer guitar playing!!! Overall, Dahlia was the best of course, and I'll see them everytime they come to town!!!

Although I missed half of Fleshgod Apocalypse, what I caught was so good! White Chapel and The Black Dahlia Murder were good but I went for Fleshgod Apocalypse. The venue is always great, validates parking, and is at a convenient location.

Shadow of Intent and Fleshgod Apocalypse were phenomenal openers for The Black Dahlia Murder. Everyone was on their a-game that night. Hope Jannus Live hosts them or bands like them again. Didn't stay for Whitechapel, though; I'm getting to old for late night shows.

If you're reading this, I'm assuming you have been to a metal concert or have the intent on seeing one. You should then know already that crowds and fans get rowdy. Really rowdy. When the fans see one of the most beloved bands of the current era live, they go absolutely nuts. They were circle pitting, screaming along, headbanging at impossible speeds and having the time of their life. The band was spot on live and did not skip out on making this a blow off type of concert. They put their effort to the max here and the end result was unforgettable because of it. The masquerade did their part and made it sound as freat as possible. I've never had a bad mix at this venue so it was a great choice for these guys. Everything clicked during this show. It was one to remember.

Badass show from The Black Dahlia Murder but I'm not a fan of the other bands really so I didn't care so much for them but Dahlia was well worth it.

The Black Dahlia Murder is one of the best Death Metal bands out there today. Not only is there music is amazing but they put on an AWESOME live show!!! They are an incredible band to see live!! If your a fan of this them do not miss them live if they ever come near you. Also Skeletonwitch and Hour Of Penance were awesome bands!!! I was a little disappointed with Nile but they're still pretty good.

I went primarily to see The Black Dahlia Murder and Skeletonwitch and both of those bands did not dissapoint. I also like Nile so seeing them was cool and they did an awesome job too but like I said I wasn't really there specifically to see them. Both of the bands I was there to see from the moment they took the stage were very clear that they meant business. I along with most of the crowd found myself singing (or screaming/growling rather) along to a good chunk of The Black Dahlia Murder's songs. I was headbanging the rest of the time when I wasn't singing including the whole time Skeletonwitch was playing being as sad as it is I don't know alot of their lyrics by heart. I really enjoyed this show as did my gf who hasn't been to many shows outside of the local scene. She and I both are huge fans of The Black Dahlia Murder and they are my favorite band period as well as one of her favorites if not the favorite over all. I hung around after and got to meet some of them and take pics and get autographs which was cool. They are not only amazing musicians but a great bunch of guys as well who truly care about and appreciate their fans. So to sum everything up if you even kind of like this type of music and want to see a great show you should go. SERIOUSLY DON'T MISS IT!

Overall, the show was spectacular. Hour of Penance was a really top-notch band from Italy to open up for the night's festivities. Skeletonwitch was a great blackened thrash band that rejuvenated the audience to build excitement to see Nile and Black Dahlia. Nile's set list was stupendous. Old-school death metal band that can still deliver a punch with veracity. Finally, black dahlia murder was the main band, and most enjoyable band of the night. I'm sure most of the hard-core Nile fans will admit that Black Dahlia's performance was deserving to be billed as the primary band. Their engagement of the audience, and willingness to play old-school songs from their first albums was very appreciated and well-received. If your an avid metal-head, then this show is a must!

TBDM & Nile were great as usual. No surprises from their sets. Hour of Penance is one of my new favorite bands now. I wish they had more time to play. Pleasant surprise of the night though was Skeltonwitch. I wasn't particularly looking forward to them but they were awesome. I woke up the next day audibly beaten. I can't wait 'til next time XD

I went for Nile and it was awesome! George is unbelievable on the drumkit. I had never listened to Black Dahlia Murder before but they put on a great show with some awesome songs. The pit was a lot of fun. The only complaint I have is that Nile's set was way too short. Hopefully they come back to LA as headliners and play longer.

whoever is planning these shows has a great idea but they are bringing bands that are not supposed to be there (the band that plays video games covers wtf) more time to the bands ,dying fetus six feet under should have played longer sets

When a band couldn't play, I had no idea until I got to the venue (which is what happened with Fleshgod Apocalypse). In the future, an email notification about event mishaps like that would be nice. But aside from a few bands I didn't like, it was a solid show whenever I was seeing the bands I loved.
