Third Eye Blind

Third Eye Blind

Third Eye Blind Concert Schedule Having emerged from the late-90s post-grunge scene, Third Eye Blind is known for their brighter take on grunge sounds, often borrowing themes from classic rock and pop chords. The band, which debuted their single 'Semi-Charmed Life' in 1997 to critical acclaim, quickly rose to fame and eventually went on to win the 1997 Billboard Music Award for Best Modern Rock Track. Building on their impactful initial success, Third Eye Blind released a number of singles following 1997's 'Semi-Charmed Life,' three of which reached the Top 10 charts. They also toured with bands such as U2 and Oasis before their Bonfire Tour across the US in 1998 and releasing their second album, Blue, in 1999.

I have been to many concerts, but ironically for being such a huge fan of Third Eye Blind I had never had the opportunity to see them live. I am so glad I finally had the chance. And to experience the last time they will treat the fans to performing the entire first album was icing on the cake for me!

The opening act Town Meeting was actually really good, and engaging. I immediately went and purchased their album online. The second act was totally forgetable, and boring. Third Eye Blind themselves were outstanding. The first CD I ever purchased was their self titled album when I was 17, and I have loved them ever since. This was my first time seeing them in concert, and I had a blast. They somehow connected the audience and brought us on this magical journey where everyone left as friends and left happy. An awesome mix of old and new music brought just the right tone. I will be seeing them again anytime they're around my area. It was magic.

The show was unbelievable! The theater only hold about 750 people so it was a small tight box as Steve would say. And who doesn't like small tight box? The set-list was great and Steve interacted with the crowd. I would recommend the theater to see any show. mant bars easy to get to.

This was the 6th time seeing Third Eye Blind and as usual they didn't disappoint. The venue was the size of a high school gym so it was extremely intimate. We were literally 6 feet from them!! This was my 4th time seeing 3eb in concert, spanning almost 16 yrs between the first time and the last time I saw them. They have never disappointed in their energy, consistency, or their unique set-list and arrangement they have played at each show. I actually just saw them this past Summer at The Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre and with the exception of the staples that are played (and we all want them to play those); they were able to change things up enough on the same tour to provide another awesome and unique experience. These guys rock.....still.

Third Eye Blind put on a fabulous show last Thursday night at the Arlington. I was concerned that the theater would be too loud, but it was just right. Stephen Jenkins was on! Full of passion and energy and sounded great. The set list was a good variety and the Bowie tribute was a fun touch. Stoked that they came through town only 9 months after having been in Paso. This show was better, bigger and a more straightforward rock show.

I listened to the Album "Dopamine" a few days before the concert and it failed to impress me the first time. The second and third time, I appreciated it better, but when Stephan Jenkins sang it live, it was awesome! How did I not like it before? Of course the music is catchy, but the lyrics are authentic. I was waiting for "In the Background", but I couldn't complain, the setlist was excellent enough! It will be a memorable experience for my 14 year old boy and 10 year old girl. Their first music concert outside St. Bartholomew (excluding Broadway Shows). Stephan Jenkins said towards the end of the show, "... New Jersey, thanks for loving us". Not all rock stars are appreciative of their fans. Third Eye Blind, thank you for your music and lyrics and coming to Wellmont. Hopefully, 3eb will still perform in New Jersey in the future despite Dopamine as their last Album.

An absolutely unforgettable experience! Third Eye Blind was magnificent along with Dashboard Confessional and Night Terrors of 1927. Many weren't familiar with Night Terrors, but they did well! When Dashboard Confessional came on though, it was ON LIKE TRON!! Singing, dancing, screaming, cheering, and celebrating was the doctrine that night as hit after smash hit was played by both Dashboard and Third Eye Blind. The bands themselves laughed, talked with, and fist-bumped the audience members close enough to the stage; Very humble gesture in my opinion! The ONLY reason I wouldn't give it five stars is not because of the bands or venue, it was the security... FAR too 'secure' in every way... Nobody could be standing in front of the stage, even if their assigned seats were in front. They started removing people who didn't comply, even after the bands told them that they want the audience to be able to come to the front to cheer and take pictures. It got bad to the point where you couldn't even dance in certain areas! I understand getting WILD in the walkways was a hazard, but people were just 'jamming out' around the walkways and the security was on them like white on rice. Like I said, if it became a problem with people swinging their arms and trying to develop a mosh pit, I get it. But there were sensible people, myself included, that were trying to move to the music and had seemingly overbearing security make sure it was minimized. Whether that was there intention or not, it was how we (Myself and MANY others I talked to) felt. Other than that, it was a STELLAR performance that few can argue against as being such a great experience. You can't just get this ANYWHERE. Good combinations of vocal screams/cleans, guitar shreds/Chords, and a couple drum solos in the mix, too!

After seeing them 9 times they only get better. This had to be the best concert they have done! They were so in sync and seemed to have such a good time. A flashback to my teenage years, this concert was highly anticipated for me. Dashboard Confessional was good, about as good as I would expect them to be live. Third Eye Blind, however, was amazing! The only request I had was that they play longer and expand their set list to accommodate some more of their older tracks. Otherwise, I was disappointed in the turnout for sure. It was sad seeing so much of the floor left empty.

I've seen so many great bands in my short 23 years alive, but Third Eye Blind had to be the best band I've seen yet! Came into the pit right before Dashboard Confessional came on. I had only been a mild Dashboard listener before this event, and now I cannot stop listening to them. I don't know what I was thinking before. Chris Carrabba, the singer for Dashboard, is completely adorable. He was so smiley and genuine the entire set...kinda endeared me to him. When Stephan Jenkins came out for Third Eye Blind, the sound wasn't as crystal as it had been for Dashboard, but it improved throughout the set list. Stephan was engaging and played a lot of his new songs, as well as his popular ones. Was a little disappointed that the amphitheater closed down so early and that Third Eye Blind didn't play more songs. The set list dropped a couple songs compared to the concert they played before this one. I was shocked when I was walking out and it still wasn't past my bedtime. Overall, a great show and a great experience. Loved the band and amphitheater fun-loving crowd atmosphere.

This was the third time I have seen Third Eye Blind in the last 18 months and it was hands down my favorite show! They played the perfect mix of songs from their new album and fan favorites. Stephan Jenkins energy and presence is amazing! You feel like an integral part of the whole music experience. We splurged on Pit tickets and it was so worth it! Dashboard Confessional sounded amazing! Chris is so full of energy and it was a great way to hype up the crowd. I've missed seeing them in the spotlight. A great way for them to "reimerge" and get back out there! Augustana opened for the show and they were a ton of fun. Great music!! Red Hat Ampitheater is the perfect size for an outdoor venue. The area isn't so big that you feel like you paid to watch the concert on big screens. Again, the pit was great! Sound was amazing! I could feel the music pulsing through my entire body!

I was skeptical to see this band, as I've listened to them since I was a child. I feared that Third Eye Blind, after being out for so long, would be tired of performing or simply wouldn't have enough left in them to give the kind of show I was hoping for. I was so wrong. Dashboard Confessional is a band I dabbled in listening to in 2007 and was fond of, but not ecstatic about. However, since I came into this world in 1994, I've been listening to 3EB with my older sister and I have never found a band that I felt more in tune with. The show was amazing and I can't imagine having a better night than I had at this concert. Stephan and the band are still very much enthusiastic about performing. Given that the venue was semi-outdoor, I was surprised that they performed so well; he still hit notes like he did in the beginning and the band sounded just as good as they do recorded. I am still in awe three days later.

Excellent show, absolutely recommend going. We purchased the VIP tickets, essentially getting into the sound check for 3eb (awesome by the way, got to hear some music not played during the show from the new album), a VIP laminate, and a meet and greet with Brad and Stephan. Both guys were SUPER nice and it seemed they appreciated comments from the fans. The tour manager Colin was great too as he officiated the VIP packages and was really responsive via e-mails coordinating the sound check/meet and greet. Overall, fantastic experience, great seats, totally worth the money. Dashboard played their hearts out, really enjoyed them, but I really went for 3eb. I would totally have given this five stars if the band hadn't taken almost 3 hours to take the stage! Jostling to keep our awesome spot in the front against drunken fools for three hours was enough to make a friend just leave. I hung in there, and when the show finally started, it was amazing. The bouncers were pretty on top of things. We had a group of whiny teenagers right in front of us who were more than happy to tattle on the rabble every five minutes or so. Some ended up getting kicked out, which actually made things better. I also hate how the staff lets a line of people follow them up to the front when they're shoving through with drinks! The bottom line is- the band was awesome, but people who can't control themselves suck. And what was with Jenkins coming out wearing a hoodie? Lame. If he was cold, he should have put on some shoes and taken off the stupid hoodie. I didn't go there to see him shrouded in fog and wearing a hoodie! Once that came off, everything was perfect! They played an awesome mix of songs. Loved how he took an audience request. Left me wanting more; I'd probably go to another show.

This was my third time seein the band, and this show made me fall head over heals for them. Honestly the best concert I've been to this entire year. They played a handful of songs that they haven't in a while (palm reader, good for you). I tweeted Stephen earlier that week asking If they could play deep inside of you, which he did. He also dedicated motorcycle driveby to someone in the audience who's birthday it was. But the best part was the fact that there was not only one, but TWO encores. I've never seen 2 encores ever in all of the 50+ concerts I've been to. Definitely never forgetting this night

Third Eye Blind has always been a great band, however, with age all bands tend to start to fade. Not Third Eye Blind. They came out ready to rock, and really killed it! They played literally 15+ songs and some weren't played live in ages, such as God of Wine, Motorcycle Drive By and Deep Inside of You. They covered of course all the huge hits too! Semi Charmed Life, Never Let You Go, Graduate, Slow Motion LIST GOES ON! They played a new song from the upcoming album and had a sweet drum solo for about 8 minutes. Also, history was made at the Stone Pony for Third Eye Blind - they accepted a new member to play piano for their songs! Just amazing. Once in a lifetime performance and Stephan was funny as ever. Glad I got front row!

The concert was amazing : it was at a small venue so it felt so personal like they were singing to you and just you . The security as asbury park was so kind but a little much . I watched a young innocent girl be taken out by a 400 pound security guard within the first half hour . I wish they performaned longer they only played for an hour n half while they're opening show was 3 hours . I wish it was just them no opening band . However I suggest everyone see thrd eye blind they are great performers

Third Eye Blind was amazing. The light show was good, and Brad's drum solo is a good addition. The only problem was that I'm only 5'1" and couldn't see a thing from the floor no matter where I was.

My first 3eb concert and I can't believe I waited so long. The energy was amazing!! Stephen Jenkins and the rest of the band are awesome! Every song was great! I would pay more to see a Bruce Springsteen-like marathon show. I know they didn't have enough time to perform everything, but really wanted to hear Narcolepsy from the first album, Misfits and My Hit and Run from Out of the Vein and Sharp Knife, Don't Believe a Word and Can You Take Me from Ursa Major. Don't get me wrong though, it was still an amazing experience!

I haven't been to many concerts but this was by far the best one. The venue was small and personal and perfect for the atmosphere. The security guards could have used more training as there was a serious lack of communication between them. Before 3EB came on stage I wanted to step outside and smoke. There was even a sign on the door that said you had to have a bracelet, which I had, to get back in, yet they wouldn't let anyone out. Other than that little snag, the show was absolutely awesome. MDB, one of my favorites, Wounded, hell all the songs, the band played great. Stephan Jenkins sounded absolutely perfect. He had energy, bouncing around on stage, all smiles, got the audience on that high. Everyone sang every song with him. I will most definitely be going to as many 3EB shows as I can.

I am a huge fan of Third Eye Blind. I have been since the first time I heard them. Well, actually, I became a HUGE fan when I heard the last 4 songs on the first album, then I was hooked. This was my 7th time seeing them going back 11 years. I expected a lot from this show because it was New Years Eve. It turned out to be one of my least favorite shows seeing them. Here is why.. The mix in the room wasn't all that great. The guitar (sometimes guitars) were very low and the setlist could have been better. They did 16 songs in under 90 minutes and finished their set at exactly midnight and didn't even give us a countdown to celebrate the new year. I was very surprised by that. I was also confused, besides Stephen and Brad, who the hell were these other guys? For $75 (and the $30 to park) I expected much better than I got.

I was so excited to see that 3EB was playing in Lake Charles after having seen them last year at Verizon here in Houston. It's only a 3 hour drive from Houston so after checking out some concert videos on YouTube of other concerts at the venue, I bought the tickets and booked our hotel. The show was indescribable, but then i was leaning on the stage the entire night with a silly smile on my face because I was RIGHT. UP. FRONT! I am a live music lover and to be front and center for a band of this caliber was an amazing experience. I took one picture and then put my camera down because really, you cannot truly enjoy a concert if you're viewing it through a camera lens. I love 3EB, have for years, and I will go see them whenever they're within driving distance. They're just that good.

The Atlantic City show was the fourth and last time I've seen this tour and that's definitely a sad thing. This show got better and better every time. It never seems routine or gets old because the band has such amazing evergy and it's so evident that they love doing these shows. They love playing their music for their fans and get just as pumped and excited as the audience to be there. I took a friend who isn't very familiar with 3EB but she loved the show because of how well Stephan Jenkins performs. I'm sad this tour is almost over and I can't wait for the next one.

I have not been to a concert in a few years. And, since I enjoy TEB, my review may be bias. Regardless, the show rocked the house. Standing on the platform off to the side and being of the older set in the crowd, it took us a little to adapt the high sound level. I am only noting to point to the age range the fans of TEB has. The show was as much as I had hoped. Truthfully, Stephan Jenkins is quite the showman. He warms into the moment and brings us a great show. He displayed a bit more flamboyancy than I had anticipated. It looked as though he and the rest of the band really enjoyed themselves and the fans reaction to them. There was a connection. More than a 'Hey, let's get out and party'. TEB has always played more to the college set and that was quite apparent during this show. There was the whole deal with the hat. And, does he age? Anyway, DEFINITELY, worth the sleep I missed with the drive back to the Detroit Metro area for that office job the next morning. Oh yeah, couldn't wait to get to that when the alarm went off. We need Third Eye Blind to come back, again! ASAP!

The National Venue is awesome. Small enough to get up close and personal, but big enough to attract names like Ben Folds, 3eb, Tegan & Sara. If you eat at Gibson's Grill next door before the show, you get to go in 10 minutes before everyone else! That's what we did and ended up 2nd row! Joshua James was an amazing opening act. Definitely gonna get some of his music. I've been a third eye blind fan since the beginning, but this was my first time being able to catch one of their shows. I hope it won't be my last. High energy, played my favorites, and great crowd interaction.

Such an amazing time! It was my first time seeing them live, which I have been dying to do ever since their first album - I honestly thought someone was playing an April Fool's joke when I heard they were coming to town. I really enjoyed New Years Eve with Third Eye Blind. We did spring the extra cash for the VIP package. That allowed us an additional early accoustic set from Third Eye Blind. Both the early accoustic set and headline performance, later that night, were great. These guys may not have the popularity they had a few years back and I have no idea why. They are still an outstanding group. I really liked the new stuff they performed as well and will be purchasing the new CD and loading it up as soon as possible. Only complaint I have is of the hosting of the event. We paid for the VIP package, knowing we would get an additional performance from Third Eye Blind. When they came down to play, their was very little opportunity for viewing and enjoying the performance except for 20-30 people crowded around the "stage" area. (it was just a removable dance floor) A small raised dais could've made a big difference with out losing the intimacy. The promise of better bar service for VIP area was oversold. Just didn't have enough room or a good set up for easy access. It was an open bar, so maybe this was in the best interest of the Hyatt to not serve too much liquor. All in all, Two great performances made up for the disapointing service level.

Third Eye Blind put on a great show. Had a lot of crowd involvement, energy, and diversity in the show. However, I was NOT a fan at all of the opening band. Their music was fine for chilling at a cocktail lounge somewhere, but most certainly not something I would ever want to see at a concert again. I didn't think they were ever going to finish and get off stage so that 3EB would come on. Plus, their music wasn't really anything like 3EB, so I personally did not see it as a good mix.

it was nice to see them again after all the years as last time i saw them was the blue tour in omaha truly the opening piece (instrumental i was unaware of) as it cast the essence of the night with a bang of rock n roll for this being a new release tour of ursula major (5th release) the play list performed stepped outside of that being its sole theme...great compliment and more like a greatest hits composition with some new works mixed in. i was surprised with how many debut release favorites were played as if a grassroots connection was in play connecting in full circle to their 5th release barefooted stephan jenkins set an essence for the night of just being at home with us... his fans i'm really happy i got to attend

3EB was awesome! The sound was great- loud as it should be yet not overpowering at all. Changing colors of lights was cool, and the backdrops were amazing. I loved the "jam session", where a couch was pulled on stage and the guys sat around playing a few songs. Colors were flying all around for the drum solo, like lights were the drumsticks! I'd definately go see them in concert again!! I'm glad they're back after 6 years and can't wait to hear more from them!

Third Eye Blind is amazing in concert! Their passion for their music combined with their energy on stage made for a wonderful concert. If you're anywhere near the stage, watch out, front man Stephan Jenkins likes to pour the water from his water bottle on fans. Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend going to see one of their concerts. They do a good job of playing both old and new songs so everyone can sing along.

As always 3 E B put on a great show. I took my 28 year old niece and my 16 year old daughter. We are all fans and have seen 3 E B play many times. This show was a little more mellow with more acoustic renditions than previous shows. They played several crowd favorites: Jumper, Semi Charmed Life, Never Let You Go and Graduate. I personally would like to have heard I want you, but that's just a favorite of mine. I liked the new song Bonfire and the audience seem to enjoy it as well. The ambiance and acoustics of the National Theater in Richmond adds much to the enjoyment of the show with an elegant warmth and a crystal clear sound. The band came out for only one encore. In past shows they have played two or three. It did leave us wanting more of what we had experience in the past. Over all it was an enjoyable show. We enjoyed Blueskyreality and will purchase their new CD. It is great to experience new music.

From the moment I walked foot into the Palace Theatre of Greensburg, I knew I was already in for a surprising and enjoyable concert. The sight of grand chandelier as we passed through the front door gave light to the marvelous marble staircase that led to the balcony seating and, eventually to the aftershow area. The setting was quite intimate being that the venue was a small, old fashioned theater with intricate detail to attention and lavish decorations (regardless of the fact that the majority of the crowd was self-absorbed teens). Despite the more than typical audience of chatty and irritating teens, it was nice to see an older crowd that clearly came from the early days of the bands beginning in the 90's (before some of those kids were even born). It was a great setlist, however I can't recall the exact lineup. I really enjoyed the acoustics of the theater and the fact that almost every seat, even that last rows. were still quite close enough to see nearly all the details. Not much of a bad seat in the house honestly. The show was very nice and the flow was great with high energy throughout. Many of my favorite hits were played and we were treated to a song that was just finished that day as they were completing their albums last song en route to our show. All and all a great show, the acoustic session was a great touch when the band switched up instruments and sat on their old couch from 'way back'. Great to hear them still playing strong and happy that Third Eye Blind still carries the fan base that has kept them going for well over a decade now. Keep up the hits!

I've always ,liked their sound, but I had never been to a Third Eye Blind concert before. First of all Stephan Jenkins is amazing live, he really made it personal. The back drop was awesome, the stage was lit up CRAZY. They did a good job of putting a spin on classics like Semicharmed Kind of Life to reach viewers who weren't die hard fans, but also played the songs that only those die-hard fans knows and love. Good mixture, incredible band.
