The show started promptly at 9pm (shocker) and La India playes all of her classics and sounded better than ever. The show was held at a great venue and the crowd was well behaved. I highly recommend this venue and the artists La India, Princess of Salsa

We really loved La India at the end of the '90s and were glad to see she was attempting yet another comeback. The concert started well with a couple of her old big hits but then got weird. The remaining of the concert was mostly about all the pain and suffering she had experienced in past 10 years presented by simple piano-accompanied monologue songs. She also talked several times about her problems and survival, and how she had been partly saved by the pole-dancing younger girl which was now part of the band. Most of performers and even wanna-be performers understand that audience comes to concerts TO BE ENTERTAINED and to have good time. Please please please, don't BRING YOUR PERSONAL BAGGAGE TO YOUR SHOW! We are there to have fun time, not to be your therapists! I wish we could have skipped this concert. We had beautiful memories of La India in the 90's (and had even seen her in Carnegie Hall in 2002, at the old Coba in 2003 and at Lincoln Center in 2010). But I don't think we will pay to go see her again, sorry.

The whole concert was stupendous. She was looking so beautiful. Just the way she sung, gave me goosebumps. I would go back again and again to see her. It is a shame that it was a short concert because if it would of been a longer, it would of made a difference.

Ever since I was a child I remember those Sunday mornings cleaning the house with my mother as she played her India CD's. This woman has been through a lot and you can see that with the power of her voice and with the prideful way she carries herself. Hands-down one of the best performances I've ever seen. She's funny, beautiful, charming, talented and boricua all in one! Definitely a must see! I can finally cross this off of my bucket list!
