Maz Jobrani's show was very good. He is interactive with his audience, reacts on the right moments on things that happen, talks about different subjects and just very funny. You don't have to be Persian to appreciate the show and laugh...You have to see him live!!

Maz Jobrani is a fantastic comedian. His jokes are thought-provoking, as well as laugh out loud funny, and he's amazingly relaxed on stage. He interacts with the audience with ease and is spontaneously funny, so he's able to divert from his planned jokes and give a great show. He also exudes a lot of warmth on stage. The only comedians I've enjoyed as much live are Bill Maher and Billy Crystal, and that's a tall order.

Maz was a very polished professional comedian. He interacted very comfortably with his audienceengaging them often and never was mean or hurtful. the audience was made up of many nationalities which enhanced his rutine, something he must have come accustomed to based on his jokes.

My wife and I had a great time. Maz was hilarious and kept us laughing almost the entire time. Equal opportunity humor sparing no one. Very light hearted and clean language. We met Maz after the show to get photos and an autographed book. He's fun to talk to so don't miss the opportunity.

I bought these tickets because I enjoy Maz Jobrani on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on NPR. I was expecting the comedy to be more intellectual and educated - comedians usually take advantage of the DC audience when they perform here. Unfortunately, this was one step above fart jokes. I felt like I was in the Laff Factory in 1991 with a comedian making fun of how white guys can't dance. And, when one of the "warm up" comedians made a 9/11 joke, my husband shut down and was ready to leave. Yes, a 9/11 joke in a city that witnessed tragedy at the Pentagon. All in all, I couldn't wait to leave and am sorry I spent the money for the tickets. Maz Jobrani didn't even have enough material to cover the entire time - he was padding for time at the end and dancing around the stage. Not the level of performance I'm used to a the Warner Theatre.

Maz is so funny and brilliant! I'm not Iranian but I felt right at home with his humor in reference to Middle Eastern people. His opening acts were very entertaining as well. And I love that he's not crass. I feel that too many comedians resort to cussing and talking about sex.

I've never been to the Warner Theater before but it was a lovely venue with great staff, seats, and acoustics. But most importantly, the entire show was funny, from every one of the opening acts to the last joke Maz himself did. I only wish I'd seen him live before and had enough energy to go to the after party!

The show was amazing funny and the two comideans before the headline where really funny. The only reason I am not giving him a 5 star rating was because of the seats. They were not comfortable at all. They were regular seats you would find at a banquet hall or maybe even worse and they were really close to one an another. But that's was my only complaint other then that the show was axing and the theater was amazing.

I went to Maz Jobriani Comedy SHow in Boston, MA last Saturday September 6, 2014. Maz's show and comedy was one of best nights I have enjoyed! I have enjoyed Maz on "Wait, Wait . . . " and have seen his videos online. I wasn't expecting all the bigotry I saw in his show at the Wilbur--slurs against all kinds of ethnic groups, gays, etc. He doesn't have to engage in that kind of "humor" to get laughs; he's really so funny without them. I was very disappointed.

3 of 4 comedians were very funny, but the third appeared to be sleep walking through his performance . It is sad , because he appears to be Maz Jobrani's protege. I wouldn't watch him again for free. Maz was quite funny. I would have given the show 5 stars if I were Persian or Middle Eastern, because part of his humor is lost on westerners. But that is a minor quibble. I would recommend his show to anyone without hesitation.

There were 4 comedians leading up to Mez and they were all pretty funny as well. By the time we got to Mez, we were ready for the style of humor that he can only deliver. As expected, he was interactive with the audience and flexible with his comedy yet still managed to stay with the program I am sure he had in is head. We laughed the entire night and I hope we can returns in 2015 so we can see him again!

This was a great show, lots of laughs. Maz as well as the opening acts before him, were fantastic. There was never a dull moment. The audience was really engaged and the acts were hilariously funny. Maz used all new material, I have seen all of his shows on Netflix and YouTube and every single joke he did during this show was brand new. It is great that he is changing things up and not doing old material. My friend and I also had the opportunity to meet Maz in person, because we purchased VIP seating. We saw Maz Jobrani at Cobb's in SF the other night for at least the third time. He is ever so gifted at portraying cultural differences and family drama, especially where there are comical cultural clashes between the immigrant (mostly Persian, Arab, Mediterranean) and the American way of life. This time, he expanded his comedy to include the raising his two small children within a cultural diverse neighborhood in LA. He has an incredible ability to move across the stage and to use his body to imitate people and to embody the mannerisms of different cultures. He really knows how to work an audience and has instant rapport with the public. We will continue to be loyal followers and await Naz's next visit to the Bay Area.

When I heard that Maz Jobrani would be performing in Boston, I was ecstatic as I have always been a big fan. Before the show, two intro comedians- Dan Smith and Amir K- both of whom were really hilarious. I would be just as willing to see a show where either of them were the main act. After 45 minutes or so, Maz Jobrani came out and performed. He interacted with the audience a lot, make some good jokes about stereotypes and the audience members, and let everything take off. Finally, there was a meet and greet after the show in which fans could meet Maz, and buy his good/get it signed. I am so glad to have been able to meet Maz after the show, and the performance was truly hilarious and unforgettable.

Maz, as usual, never fails to impress with his unbelievable variety in topics. From immigrant families to more broad and widely relatable topics like parenting and stereotypes. With him, he brought some truly funny, young talent to open for him. To top it all off, he made it a point to come out and meet the crowd after the show, personally sign autographs, and take pictures. A very gracious and humble comedian. I had done my research before I actually decided to dole out $50 for a ticket to a live Maz Jobrani show. I saw a lot of clips from his previous comedy shows. I expected a good show. Usually, his comedy is clean. This sets him apart from his peers a lot of whom use raunchy comedy to rope in an audience. How many comedians these days have "family-friendly" shows but still manage to be hilarious? He used a lot of the same jokes, so I was disappointed. But, there was some new material. I would love to hear more about what he observes from a husband / father / son point of view. Toward the end of the show he talked about his experience of going to a movie with his son and another 3 year old. It was really funny. He's also done bits about how his culture is different to American culture which is funny. He picked on the people in the front row (a bit of a cop out) and tried to create a dialogue with the audience by asking people if they were from a specific country. Then he would say something about that country. Thought that was a bit lame. It's nice to hear an Iranian-American voice in the mainstream. America could learn a lot. He could be a good ambassador. Thinking of going? Watch the clips from his previous comedy shows and save your money until he comes out with new material.

What a fun family night out! He was incredibly entertaining and funny and we laughed non stop. Pure comedy, no swearing or cheap shots! I highly recommend it to families with young adults.
