Terry Ilous should have left the talking up to mark or Michael. As I m writing this I hear he is being replaced which is probably a good thing for this version of great white. The energy was just not there the show was stale in comparison to Slaughter which was the opening band and should have headlined in my opinion. Good luck to Mitch Malloy hopefully he can turn things around for Mark and Michael and keep the fans in their seats instead of heading home. As far as the venue the sound was good but the seating outside was questionable I m not sure if they were able to see or hear anything. The outside seating seemed as though they had to look into a big garage door or watch on the Jumbotron to watch the show.

Sorry but the Great White has lost the rock edge. The fact that the lead singer has health issues should be a clue. The band still can Rock, but it is hard to stay in the head banging mood when the lead forgets the words. As far as the venue it is a nice idea and could be alot of fun. But they need to ventalate the place !! It was way to hot in there. You could not drink enough to even take the edge off. Not very enjoyable.

It was overly loud and distorted. There is no crowd control, hot and there are sand fleas in the sand at the bar. Never seen Great White it took over 1 1/2 hour for them to come on, it was 1030 when we left.

It is time for Great White to give it up and tell stories of the best the new band members at least moved around. They turned the pa up too loud, feedback through the microphones almost popped my eardrums. I had to leave early

Bad feedback throughout the show. Lead singer said he had broken bones, but put on an aweful show. Would have been better to cancel until he was more up for performing.

Club 131 is a new and amazing venue. With it's beach style decore to the beach sand on the floor. Fast service from the waitstaff. Firehouse took the stage first and put on a great high energy show. Great White then went on stage and although Jack Russell was hurt from an accident earlier in the week, he did not fail to provide a great show. Both band played songs from thier latest albums but made sure to play everyones favorites from the earlier albums. Fox 101.3 put the show on and did a wonderful job.

Awesome concert, only issue I had was Slaughter was way to loud!, don't get me wrong, I grew up with the petal to the metal with volume, but they were way to loud!, Great White was more enjoyable because the volume was just right!, Wish they would have played some more of the hits that made them as great as they are, Still an awesome show!

Two great bands that sound amazing! Slaughter is fantastic, great energy. Mark Slaughter interacts with fans and even goes into the crowd making you feel apart of the action! Dana Strum is electric, Blando is excellent in guitar and vocal, Zoltan is a beast on the drums. They have the total package!

Was not what we expected ,there is a reason Motley Crue went out as they did . Slaughter tried but the vocals were distorted horribly , the drummer tried to be funny but was aweful if your thinking of booking this band for a county fair don't! Great white sounded better but just isn't great white without jack period . Money spent seeing Elton john was better deal .

Nothing beats first row seats.....to anything! I walked away with 2 guitar picks, made a friend, and even got engaged while Great White played "Save your love". Slaughter rocked! The combo of the 2 bands made for an amazing night! I may have been the youngest person there, but the energy way great!

We have been to 15 concerts in the past year, some of them at this same venue, and this was the only time we left in the middle of the show. We are fans of a variety of music, we don't mind good rock played loudly, and we had good memories of some of the music by both of these bands, but unfortunately, we did not hear any of it. Mark Slaughter spent most of his time on stage screaming unintelligibly, and the drummer was jumping around like a hyperactive child to the point that we were actually laughing, and wondering if it was some kind of joke on the audience. Even this would have been entertaining, if it weren't for the fact that the sound was turned up so unbearably loud that it was physically painful, and we couldn't understand any of the words or enjoy any of the musicianship. Several people around us made similar observations...some actually had their hands over their ears for much of the time. We stayed through Slaughter's performance, and were sure that they would make sound/volume adjustments when Great White came on, but it was actually worse....like the volume had been turned up even louder. It was brutally loud....like your eardrums were being pierced with razor blades....seriously....just an overwhelming thunder of discordant, screeching sound and static from the equipment......we couldn't believe how bad it was. How did their sound guys not realize this and make adjustments??! We pay our hard-earned money for tickets, and we love music, so we have never left a concert early before this one, but we did, and we were not the only ones. Totally disappointing end to what we thought was going to be a fun evening of 80's hair-band rock.

Both Slaughter and Great White were on top of their game. Both still sounded great and I couldn't stop singing along all night. Great White playing songs like Desert Moon and Big Goodbye were a real treat for me. I hope Slaughter tours more because I love seeing them live. They are a lot of fun and their energy is infectious.

I hate giving this show three stars. Slaughter needs to get five stars and Great White needs one. The first half of the show was amazing. High energy, great songs and the band/Mark Slaughter were on point. When Great White got on the stage the atmosphere died. They let their photographer on stage to talk about how much he loves his wife and then had the audience sing happy birthday to the lead singer. I left shortly after that.

Great White was just like the old days. The beat was great and it sounded like they haven't aged. What can I say about Slaughter other than mind blown. Saw this concert last night and was blown away by just how good Slaughter still is! Mark can still belt out the songs the same as he did way back in the early 90's! After the concert he did a meet and great with fans where you could get his autograph, and take a photo with him! He was the coolest guy, and so gracious! None of this was at an extra charge to anyone! It was an amazing moment, one that I won't forget for a very long time! And of course Great White was fun as well. I especially enjoyed them playing "Save all your love," but they should also play "The Angel Song" as well.

We were only able to stay for Slaughter due to an early flight the next morning. It was one of my favorite concerts and I hope to see them in concert again soon. The band was amazing, singing was exactly as great as it was when I first saw Slaughter more than 25 years ago, and they did a meet and greet taking photos and signing autographs after their part of the show was over! The meet and greet was for everyone, not an extra ticket package fans had to pay for. The venue was perfect too. It was much smaller than I expected, so the view from everywhere in the theater was amazing.

However... This was a bit of an odd venue for rock and roll. Odd seating. More for say comedy or old Vegas shows. The sound was really horrible. I hate to say it because I love Slaughter and Great White. In particular Slaughter. But the sound was way too harsh...I couldn't hear a thing except for two songs by Slaughter and when Mark was talking. My entire group left after Slaughter. This is to dissuade folks from upgrading to the VIP concert option. I spent a bit of time in Vegas and SoCal, and VIP there was definitely different than VIP at the RoZone concert series. In essence, the concerts might be worthwhile, but any upgrade is definitely not worth it. 2 drink tickets were only good for coors light and some very limited mixed drinks. The $4 bar only got you the aforementioned coors light, the limited menu mixed drinks, or pinot gris. No red wine. Of course, none of this was itemized in the VIP description. If it was, I definitely would've passed. Even the "special viewing area" was silly. I spent the entire time outside that zone, getting bourbon and being closer to the stage. The VIP thing is definitely a waste of cash. Do not upgrade.

I don't know how they get off calling a band by it's original name when the LEAD SINGER is different. Homecoming for Las Vegas born Slaughter following digital release of lead singer Mark Slaughter's first solo album: Reflections From A Rearview Mirror. Best show I've seen from them in the years that I've been a fan. Great energy and emotion. Totally loved it from beginning to end. Highlights were their biggest hits, Fly To The Angels and Up All Night. Singer Mark is one of the best vocalists in rock history, who also plays a mean guitar. With amazing original bassist Dana Strum, awesome master of the lead Les Paul, Jeff Blando and the incredible human drum machine, Zoltan Cheney, they know how to rock the house.

We were not informed that Great White did not include the singer from their early days, so imagine our surprise when a lounge-lizard was singing lead for the band. We saw many people who paid a lot of money to see this band (I purchased 3rd-row center)...walk out after the first few songs. Additionally, this venue usually does an excellent job of crowd control at the front of the stage. On this evening, there was no crowd control, so I had a bunch of people who paid less for their seats in the back, standing in the aisle and crowding the first few rows. I was even threatened by one of the people standing near me... Not a pleasant evening at all! Again, I was incredibly disappointed!!!

Slaughter can still bring it! Mark was able to hit the highs and the drummer beat the house up with his energetic drumming. Nicely done. I believe they stole the show from Great White. The new singer, as good as he maybe, he just didn't fit. His tone and smoothness was just not Jack!

Awsome show, with blast from the past bands. They still sound now as they did then.

Good show.. If you like 80s hair metal then you need to see this show.. The venue is a little disappointing.

Loved the show, Great White did a great job on all their songs, They sounded pretty close to the original music, Slaughter was ok, but he did more screaming than singing, I was kind of disappointed in that.Loved when he walked through the crowd and took pics while he sang, matter of fact I think that is the only song he didn't do extra screaming in.

These 80's Bands still play well and hard, both bands sounded great and got the crowd going. Great White & Slaughter played all of their hits, no solos just song after song. Highly recommend going when they play your town

Great white lead singer too showy. Needed some blue jeans and t-shirt to fit in but if you could bypass the look he had awesome voice and pulled it off. Many people left and didn't go over well but if you stuck it out was some great sound. Loved it!

I was very impressed with Slaughter....had seen them before years ago and they have always been a good live band....this time was exactly the same!!!! Great White on the other hand was one of the most boring shows i have seen in years! It is never easy to replace the lead singer in a huge 80's band that everyone knows...... and when the people in the front rows of the venue start to sit down and then just get up and leave in the middle of there set it speaks volumes!!!!!! Me and my wife have seen many of the bands we grew up with in the last 10 years or so..... La Guns, Faster Pussy Cat, TUFF, Motley Crue and so on and i would honestly say it might be time for Great White to just call it quits!! it's not as bad to replace a guitar player like Tracy Guns and still be able to pull off a great La Guns show but without Phil Lewis it's just a cover band!!!!!!!

Slaughter was ok but the volume was way to load for a indoor concert. The sound was distorted and coundn't hardly make out the vocals. Great White was really good but it would have been perfect with Jack Russel as the lead vocalist. overall I would recommend them.

Slaughter was excellent. Zoltan Chaney is an AWESOME drummer, WOW!!! The hall was only 3/4 filled max, after Slaughter played I notice the crowd dwindled to about half capacity. I now know why, Great White was horrible! Terry Ilous is the worse singer and performer I have ever had the bad luck of hearing and seeing. I suffered through 4 songs before we left the show. When we left the show there was a line of other people exciting, and no remarks made were good for Great White! I did not expect Terry Ilous to sound like Jack Russell, but I thought he would at least have the ability to sing. Bottom Line; there were many technical/sound issues [that were not fixed), the band as a whole looked as though they were in pain or suffering {join the club) and Terry Ilous sucks!!

The show was fine, but the sound was terrible. I wanted to go tell the sound booth guys to take another shot at what was going on but I let it be. Not all of the original members which is fine most of the time, but it was just not the same as it was in our glory days.

FIRST- VooDoo Lounge sells table seats on the 2nd level that are SCRUNCHED together & we bought TABLE #1 (left side). Bought these thinking we'd have a better unobstructed view than standing in GA on the floor... WRONG!!! Literally looking around speakers at the top of the bands' heads! IF you're going to waste your money there, at least buy 3-4 tables back from the front to have a clearer view & actually see their faces. For $80/seat, IT WAS A HORRIBLE SETUP & A WASTE OF MONEY. SECOND- The band Slaughter was the opener, followed by Great White... SHOULD HAVE BEEN REVERSED! Slaughter was almost all original except for the drummer, who was a show in himself! All that was excellent! Yes, of course Mark Slaughter doesn't have the same vocal chords as 30 yrs. ago, but who would? He gave it his all & did so with flare, style, and appreciation for being able to still sell tickets to those of us needing to escape back in time. On the other hand- Great White was pretty much a terrible show. Don't get me wrong... the REPLACEMENT lead singer can really sing. But, he is definitely not anywhere near a good fit for the image of Great White. He didn't even have clothes that remotely fit in w/ the band. All his body movements & positions didn't fit in at all. His 'limp-wristed' style was very awkward to have to sit through & watch while you are trying to remember yesteryear. All in all, he stuck out like a sore thumb in the group. Again, the 'boy' can sing! But he needs to find a different band, w/ a different image & maybe different sound where his voice could shine & his physical presence and movements wouldn't be out of place. BUT!!!... the guitarist on your Right... toothpick legs, big converse tennis shoes, ballcap on reverse, posture like he is my dad's age... WOW!!! That 'old' guy can Rif & Rip like he's still 20 years old!!!!! I apologize that I can't tell you WHO he is, but he is ORIGINAL! HE IS THE ONLY REASON TO THINK ABOUT SITTING THROUGH the GREAT WHITE SET. So, if you like Slaughter, it would be worth it, except for maybe less expensive tiks. After they finish their set, you should probably just go out and have some fun before you're persuaded to leave after the 2nd set (Great White) scratching your head and having an indelible 'question mark' etched on your forehead. ???
