Our Lady Peace went out in support of their new album "Somethingness" by beginning their concert at 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids, MI with Hiding Place for Hearts. They also followed with some fan favorites. But my favorite songs were Angels, Maps (cover), One Man Army, 4am and Papermoon. This concert also included a fitting tribute to Gord Downie with Ballad of a Poet. Lead singer and lyricist Raine Maida remembered the last time they were in Grand Rapids, at a rain-soaked Fifth Third Ballpark. Their headlining appearance was delayed due to thunderstorms, which lead non-interested attendees to indulge in ethanol while waiting. This resulted in a non-typical OLP crowd and an overall miserable experience. He sufficed to say that they would not be playing any ballparks in GR anymore. They will return to GR.

Our Lady Peace put on another great show! The crowd was teeming with excitment. Obviously, they should never again let 7 years go by without coming to Dallas. There are only two things that I was disappointed with: 1) The opening band was awful and I really hope OLPs label does a better line up on the next tour 2) They tend to let the crowd sing a lot of 4am... this annoys me. I understand getting the crowd involved is good, but I paid to hear the band not the out of key people surrounding me. Other than those qualms, OLp put on a fantastic rock show!

They were absolutely unbelievable!! It was the best concert I have ever been too! They sounded incredible and the setlist was great! It was a perfect mix of old and new songs. Well it's been 7 years since OLP visited the Dallas area, and did they make up for lost time!! They played every hit imaginable, and a few new songs from their most recent album. The crowd was very much OLP fans and very enthusiastic. It was a great show!! The sound was amazing!! They saved "Starseed" for the last song of the night, after an encore.

The show was great, it's always great to see one of your favorite bands in a smaller venue like HOB. Played a healthy mix of old new, Superman's dead, 4AM, Is anybody home? Clumsy, to Innocent and Gravity, to their new CD, Monkey Brains and Paper Moon. See them if you have the opportunity.

This was my first time seeing Our Lady Peace in concert and it was an intimate showing in front of a sold out crowd of only 500 people. Being surrounded by 499 OLP fans was awesome! Even greater was the band's performance! I flipped my lid and went nuts! They played a fantastic selection of songs from their new album and the previous six albums! These guys know how to put on an incredible rock show! I hope to see them many many more times. But take into account that I'm a bit bias. They are my all time favorite band!

What an uforgettable experience and big part because of The Troubadour. They played some of my favorites from the Gravity album as well as new ones that rocked and moved my soul. Don't miss an opportunity to see them live. You will not regret it. I took a couple of OLP virgins and they fell in love. I'm sure that Michael "Raine" had something to do with it since they were women but they soon were rocking out to the songs and not just looking at him. All I have to say is WOW!!! MORE PLEASE!!!

The venue was AMAZING. OLP sounded fantastic! I snagged some great seating at the top of the venue and in the middle of the concert Raine Maida climbed up and over the sound booth and sang for us all on the top level!

I've been searching for an OLP concert date in LA that I could go to for a few years, and finally found this one. It was awesome - everything I had hoped it could be and more. The crowd wasn't too pushy, nor too large. Everyone was fully into the music and the band and yelling/singing the words to every song played - people were keeping track of the playlist on their iPhones as well. The lead singer kinda poked a jab at the balcony people sitting down so he went and climbed up there! They of course all stood up the rest of the night. OLD just seemed like a real friendly band and let the crowd sing, but not too much, and they rocked the house the whole playlist. It was a darn good time had by all! The Troubadour is an awesome place to see any band, so small and cozy, there's no bad seat and everything is right next to the stage. I had to drive back to Ventura, then to Santa Barbara, got home about 1:50am, totally worth it.

This was a huge band in a very, very small club. They came out and Rocked from the start. Audience knew the songs . the sing-a-longs were great . Raine climbing in the rafters to get to the upper seating. The Set was great . they went through a lot of their songs old and new . Great show .

Rippin guitar riffs and sharp angsty vocals is how Our Lady Peace sucks you in. I loved the cozy crowd setting at the Troubador and when OLP struck a familiar riff, you could feel all the emotions their music brings out of their fans and then screamed straight back at you, getting it all out. I think that must be why people love their music. Singing the emotional lyrics at the top of your lungs is a catharsis for whatever you're going through. It's not 'happy music' but you could tell the band was warmed by the feedback they got from their fans.

I have been a fan of OLP for many years. I think this was my fourth live show. The last being in Philadelphia probably in 2002. They are back rocking it even better than before. The Troubadour was an ideal venue. It was cozy and the audience was filled with fans who, just like me, knew the words to every song. They played at least a song or two from every album as well as their brand new one, Burn, Burn. I had a blast the entire time. It was an excellent show and I recommend every one going if they have the chance to. This show was sold out and I am really enjoying their new cd that I received from buying the VIP ticket. I will be framing the autographed portion to hang on my wall. Our Lady Peace's was and still is my favorite band.

I have been waiting for about 8 years to see Our Lady Peace in concert and it was worth the wait. The Troubadour was a dream venue because it is so small you really couldn't be more than 15 people back from the stage. The guys sounded just as great in person as they do on their CD. Raine Maida has an amazing stage presence. You can hardly take your eyes from him. For a die hard fan or a casual observer, it was a great concert.

The Filmore is awesome but the band cashed it in again. 20 year anniversary of the album and only sang 1/2 the songs on it. Raine would rather sing the new stuff no one knows yet while the promotion is for the classic fan that bought the cd 20 years ago. They used to be one of the best performers I've ever seen but are going through the motions now.

I was very excited towards hearing Clumsy in its entirety. They played the entire album except for about 3 songs (Shaking, Hello Oskar, Let You Down). This was the first half of the show. They sounded crisp musically and Raine still has his unique nasally sound and hits the falsetto. The second half of the show OLP played their greatest hits and 3 new songs from their new/forthcoming Somethingness EP. My only complaint is that they could of played longer until the 11pm "curfew".I recommend you see OLP. Irving Plaza is a nice intimate venue to see a great band.

A great opening band, a crazy awesome word poet/rapper, two OLP encores, and a caught drumstick! What an amazing way to spend a Sunday night in Boston! I didn't even mind my hoarse voice the next morning at work. This show was spectacular! I have been an OLP fan since the 90s and this was my first OLP show. Having seen them now, I regret that fact that I was not able to go to any shows before 7/29. Raine and the gang put on an unforgettable show and I was left breathless. I can't get enough of these small venue tours OLP has been doing. Raine still has the fire and the passion, which has only grown stronger through the years. Steve was flawless on lead, Duncan and Jeremy (the backbone) were great as always. Still played many old hits and rarities. I only personally wished that Naveed (in it's entirety) and In Repair would have been played. If OLP would perform a 3 hour show, would definitely be down for it. Just double or triple the ticket price.

Saw them a few years ago at the Jubilee. I think that's actually a better venue for them, but I was thrilled just to get to see my favourite band in concert again. The first set, the Clumsy album, was a little sedated, though I fell in love with a few of the songs all over again. The second set, the entire audience was standing the whole time, singing themselves hoarse. Raine did call everyone into the aisles by the stage again, and climbed over speakers and balcony rails to walk through the crowd for awhile. I LOVE Our Lady Peace, and am so glad I forked out the money to go.

Duncan Coutts is an excellent bassist with lots of stage presence, Jeremy Taggart is an extremely creative drummer, and Steve Mazur is an absolutely captivating guitarist. It's been a while since Our Lady Peace played in Chicago, and it was well worth the wait. They played a few of their new songs, but not an over abundance as some bands do with new music out. Even after having to sit through the awful Electric Touch, who did at least pull out a ramones barrage at the end to win some of the crowd, Our lady peace came out, played "Monkey brains" off the new album burn burn, and singer Ranie immediately offered an apology during "superman's dead" and promised to deliver the best show that they could perform and it all starts right now" he quietly pointed to the crowd and everyone in attendance joined in on the chorus and the band rammed quite a bit of rock in an hour and a half. Songs from all the albums were represented well even with raine obviously holding back from some of the falsettos we had grown accustomed to, it was was still a commanding performance from the front man and the rest of the band. Even a suprise appearance from David Cook (he is admittedly a fan, and even did a cover of "Innocent" on his stay on American idol.) joined in for a powerful encore of "In Repair", "Starseed", and Naveed". An amazing performance and hopefully they don't stay away for so long!

This show was so worth the 10 hour road trip it took me & my two teenage sons to take. I am so glad that we took this chance to see one of my all time favorite bands in concert. This band's music has meant so much to me for so long. When my boys were little, I would play Our Lady Peace on my Jam Box everywhere we were. While I was cooking, when we were doing homework, just hanging out and even outside while blowing bubbles! They put on such an awesome show. Raine Maida's voice is so powerfull and moving. I could feel his pain and his joy. The drummer played his heart out and the base player and lead guitar blew me away even though they are relatively new to this 15 plus year band ! The audience showed them their love and I feel the band genuinely felt it! Please don't miss an oportunity to see them. You won't regret it. I'm glad we did.

OLP was fantastic as always. They really played a great mix of old and new. They played the most from Happiness... but they plated 2 or 3 from every album including their new one. The Troubadour is a great venue. Every spot in the house has good sight lines and it feels really intimate. Even the balcony feels right on top of the stage. This was my first show there and I would most definitely go see another there.

I've never been to a concert where every single person in the audience knew every single lyric to every single song, not just the singles. My voice was completely shot by the end of the night so I can only imagine what it was like for Raine! This concert was insane, where else do you get the lead singer climbing up scaffolding and traversing skinny precarious railings just to come say hi to people in the balcony and then proceed to belt his ass off and climb down the balcony into the crowd!? Amazing show, Raine even said it was the best he's ever performed!

SMSHNG HRTS really surprised me. I hadn't heard of them before this show, and checked them out on Spotify prior to attending. They had far more energy than the music on Spotify might have indicated and did a great job during their performance of getting the crowd ready for OLP. They performed a cover of Deftones, which was really gutsy, and did a great job. Our Lady Peace really outdid themselves. Their setlist was extensive and impressive, going all the way back to Naveed. Raine was absolutely on point with his vocals, Steve shredded the guitar, Duncan was tremendous, and Jason was a beast on the drums. Their energy was fantastic and they involved the crowd quite a bit, encouraging some sing alongs. I would absolutely encourage anybody even a little bit curious about Our Lady Peace to attend one of their live shows. They are phenomenal.

The band far exceeded our expectations! The energy was awesome, and their sound impeccable and powerful. They have never sounded better, and gave a great mix of so many good one songs mixed with many wonderful new ones. Don't miss this opportunity!

OLP is clearly one of the best live acts from the 90s/00s out there and the Neptune is a great venue. Great show.

First time seeing OLP live and I was a bit disappointed. They didn t seem to have much energy except for the guitar player. The song selection was good but the performance was average at best.

I drove from Tulsa, OK 6 hours each way to see OLP! I have been a HUGE fan (some say obsessed :P) since their album Clumsy! I was so thrilled to know that they were touring in the US this year since I have yet to see them live. It was a great venue, great line up and overall AMAZINGLY AWESOME SHOW! I would definitely make the drive again if I had to to see OLP again. I love them and will continue to :) Awesome show, awesome band, awesome night!!!

I didn't realize how much I missed these guys until they came out with a highly energentic song off their new album. Then a bunch of the good ole stuff followed. Wow...I hadn't stopped to listen to their old stuff in awhile but it still sounded just as fresh and angst-driven. How those songs helped me get through some times! While I'm not a fan of some of their new stuff, they sounded great live and OLP can still rock after all this time.

This was an awesome show! The first time I've seen Our Lady Peace in concert even though I'm a long-time fan, and I was impressed. They put on a good show, were dynamic, and played a ton of awesome songs, at least one song from every album! I also really enjoyed Company of Thieves. I was surprised by this group at first, but I loved their show so much I bought a cd after their set! I would go to see OLP and/or Company of Thieves in concert again.

I liked all of the bands. I liked Company of Theives. I liked that they dressed up and thought they put on a good show. Their music was kind of scary. I liked it.

This was my 4th time seeing OLP over the years and every show gets better and better! I have never been disappointed with them and the songs never get old. I love the interaction with the crowd and how Raine lets the fans sing parts of songs. This time around I think was the best opening ever with the song Monkey Brains. It really set up the mood for a kick ass show. I thought the first opening band was godawful, which is a funny way of putting it cause they were Christian Rock. I think the drummer had major issues cause he was lip syncing one song that the lead singer was singing by himself directly behind him and it looked like he was going to cry. It was sad in a bad way, and they also had to do a tune-up during their set, which was sad. The second opening band was really good and I just downloaded their cd. They were called Company of Thieves and the lead singer was a little bit Bjork, little bit Esthero, little bit Kate Nash, and a little bit Adele. I loved her and the band and she really got into the music.

Good Show! The opening act Company of Thieves was impressive. OLP Rocked it out! Setlist was a little short though. They played for a little over an hour. Kept me wanting a lot more out of this amazing rock band.

The band sounded great, when you could hear the lead singer he sounded great too. I think maybe he has a hard time reaching the higher notes so they were drowning it out with the instruments. I love the House of Blues. By far my favorite venue to watch any band.

If you are a big fan on OLP it def. is worth going too.. Lead singer cant hit the "high" notes he once was loved for. Loved the selection of songs they chose to play. Wish they would have interacted with the crowd more.. SHOW some love!

Great to see a band that gets in, plays a song and moves on to the next one. They kept a great pace that kept the energy going the whole time. Great setlist, There may have been something wrong with the sound because Raine's vocals would fade out during choruses even though you could hear them during verses. Excellent no smoking venue and the show was done by 11. That's my style. Openers were very impressive. I'll probably be downloading today.

The concert was amazing and unforgettable. The light show in the back was spectacular and added so much more to the songs and group. The encore was unexpected but very much apprechiated and a very much special surprise.

The first band, We Are the Arsenal, was a local "emo" band. They sucked. Company of Thieves was really good so I bought their album. Our Lady Peace is my favorite band in the whole world and they were really good. I love how humble they are. And the guitarist is a lot better live. My only complaint is that this was on a weeknight, so there really weren't too many people there. I feel Our Lady Peace is a great band and deserves to have a huge audience in the U.S. I rarely get to see them because they are a Canadian band and play Canada most of the time. I got some great pictures and video!
