I'm in my late 40's and came of age with U2. Interpol has knocked U2 off the top of my favorite band list. Interpol is an awesome, talented band. Great concert!

I bought the Fast Access pass and paid for 1st in 1st out parking. I think it was worth it. I arrived at 6:45 for doors open at 7 show, and the line for fast access was about 25 deep. They let us in at 7 and that gave enough head start to get a beer and take in the layout of the Ritz. It very open with a mezzanine and bars positioned around the edges. i chose to take a stand just right of center stage and was one off the rail with a very nice couple in front of me. The opening band came on pretty soon, and sounded good. Interpol came on on schedule and played a lot of favorites. The crowd response was good and The sound quality and volume were very good in my opinion. I was surprised that midway through the show I was able to easily go to the restroom, in that corner of the building, and to the bar nearest us, maybe 40 feet away, and get a drink with no wait, and maneuver back to my spot without out having to elbow my way in. This was first visit here and I look forward to coming back. Great show, great fans, polite and helpful staff. I have read complaints about the temperature, but on that day it was sunny and 75 and I was perfectly comfortable . I got some great picks of Interpol and will enjoy the memory.

I was really pumped for this concert going into it. I love Interpol. I saw them at Virgin Fest a couple of years ago and they put on a fantastic show. I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately there were a few problems that I experienced with this concert. 1. The venue at Crocodile Rock is HOT there is no ventilation so we were crammed and dieing in there. 2. The set list was disappointing. I really like their third album and they may have only play one or two songs from that album. There set list was disappointing but they put on a good show. They are a well oiled machine and there was only one point where the bass player messed up but that's understandable since Carlos D. left. I'm glad I went.

It is my favorite band, so I am easily impressed by a live performance by them. It was a suprise to see that they were playing only 4 shows in the states, and one of them was at the Croc' Rock which is a smaller venue and close to me. This is the second time I have seen Interpol and they played songs from their first 2 albums, when I last saw them it was for their third album. So I got to hear almost every song I love between the two shows plus 2 songs from their upcoming fourth album. GREAT SHOW WITH INCREDIBLE ENERGY!!

Overall show was good, except being sooo hoott inside and prices of drinks a bit high for quantity. Music was good and Interpol really can sound like Nirvana sometimes :) but also as mellow as Smashing Pumpkins, deep as Joy Division...but they have their specific sound so lets not compare them to anyone; they can do it on their own and will go far with new members. "Lights" sounds awesome! Can;t wait for more.

This concert was awesome!!! What made it so great was the small venue it was held in & the fact that I was right up front!!! The only problem with the show is that they needed to bring the volume down on the guitars & the volume up on the microphone because you couldn't hear the lyrics very well. One other things that would have been nice would have been a larger selection of t-shirts. Overall though this concert was just plain awesome!!!!

I went all the way from NYC to Rochester to see Interpol play, and it was beyond worth it! It was their first show in a long time and they were on point. They played songs from all their albums(which are all great), and sprinkled in some of their new stuff. The band was really into it, Daniel Kessler put on quite the show, and Paul Banks was super cool and friendly. All in all they played the best show I've ever seen and I was beyond blown away. If you have a chance to catch them, take it. Better yet, take it twice.

Despite troubles like their founding bass player Carlos-D leaving the group and the partial collapse of their tour with U2, Interpol projected ease and confidence as they started their own tour in Rochester NY. Water Street Music Hall was packed, and sweltering, with an enthusiastic crowd that knew well the Interpol opus. They pulled from all 3 albums, with 3 or 4 from their up coming, to build a varied and exciting program. A couple of my favs that weren't in the program were Heinrich Maneuver and Roland, but, hey, who's on trial. The somewhat on-edge group I remember from their stop here in 2007 was not evident as the boys took the heat in stride and were friendly and engaging. Must see for even the most diffident Interpol aficionado

Interpol's members are masters of their craft. They have a enigmatic presence rivaled by none and have the crowd going from first song to last. This was their first show in two years and you could see they missed the stage as they were beaming with smiles, uncharacteristic from such a stoic band. This was also their first show since completing the new album due out in September, so us in attendance were the first to hear some of these songs which is a great feeling and experience. The absence of former bassist Carlos Dengler didn't at all take away from their sound. Openers, Athens, GA natives,Twin Tigers were also very good and a suitable match up for an Interpol show.

It was a terrific show. These guys haven't toured in a long time, so it was great to be at their first show on their new tour. The replacement bass player fit right in and the overall sound was bang on. The venue was really great (medium club), but it was ridiculously hot inside. We really had a great time at the concert and want to see them again. The acoustics were okay and it wasn't so loud that the sound was distorted, as they have been at other concerts I've attended, which spoiled it for me, but Interpol was fine. We really enjoy the music they make and hope they'll come back to Los Angeles next year. If they do, we'll be there to see them again.

The night was one of the greatest I've ever had in my life. The weather set the atmosphere of the night and I knew the night was going to be awesome when heading to Pomona Fox Theater. Once Paul, Daniel, Sam, David, and Ben went on stage, the excitement was running through my veins. The theater was packed with Interpol fans and we all had the same experience once the first beat of the song "Success" was made. I was in the crowd right in front of the stage; singing my lungs out to all of the songs and sweating every sweat I had in my body. Saying the night was incredible is an understatement; it felt surreal seeing my favorite band for the third time on stage. Interpol will never disappoint me and I truly admire what they do. Thank you Interpol!

The last time I saw Interpol perform was October 2007 in L.A. That show was super great. As was this show. My husband and I live in Des Moines and drove to Chicago to see them, and it was well worth it, like I knew it would be. I was sad that this would be the first time I would not see Carlos perform, but was open minded to see what Dave and Brandon could bring to the table. And they did not dissapoint. They started the set with a new song, sorry I can't remember the title, but it sounded real great. Throughout the show they kept the energy up, and they have a new type of light show, which isn't my favorite, but nonetheless it was good. Daniel was moving around more than ever before, maybe cuz he was so excited to be there, but I like to think that he did this also to fill in Carlos' void, since we all know that Carlos would many times, take command of the stage, traveling here and there, and playing to Sam's drums alot. So I enjoyed that Danny boy was into it. Sam was perfect with precision as always. Seriously this guy knows how the hell to drum without mistake, and to perfect every sound and 'ting' and 'clash', I just love it. And Paul, with his unusually high pitches that only surface when the band performs live. But still, he also performed with enthusiasm, and smiles! He smiled alot! Which I liked alot. Better than the Paul that was touring during Antics. Im glad to see him without a hat, without shades. Even more, he wore 2 white Interpol sweatbands on his arms. Signs that he is truly about the band and less about his persona. So kudos to him for that, and to the band for sounding as sharp as ever.

Interpol was great, as usual. The opening band was okay (Postelle), but Twin Tigers was surprisingly good for an opening act. I hope to hear more from them in the future. Interpol played a variety of their old work and some new songs - the new ones were tough to judge since they were scattered throughout and not a familiar as their "classics". The encore was standard, but they were all professional, polite and rocked! The guitarist, as usual, was hyper kinetic and all over the stage - he is fun to watch. The venue was meh - 4 tiers of building with the tall folks pressed to the front really hose over the females and short dudes. Get their early and squat on a locale if you want to see the entire show. I'm 6 foot and lucky, but there were some 6 foot and above jack-wagons pressed up against the front totally hosing the females who came in later.

They also played a couple of songs from their new album, Lights.

I live in Michigan and I saw they had a show with U2 @ MSU but that was sold out. Then I saw they were doing a show in Rochester. I have family near Rochester so I planned to drive out with my mom. This was better yet for me seeing that this show was @ a medium sized bar, so it would be more intimate and hopefully I'd have a better chance of seeing since I'm in a wheelchair. To make matter even better, when I returned home from the show I read that U2 canceled their U.S shows so Interpol had to redo their schedule (MSU was canceled). So mom and I drove out to Rochester. I went to the concert with my cousin (this was my first Interpol show). The place was like a furnace but I soon forgot about the heat. I told my cousin to just try pushing our way up to the front, when a guy from the audience made a path by having people move so I could be up front. I was basically glued to the barrier and no more than 10 feet away from Daniel. He is sooo much more adorable in person. I did enjoy the Twin Tigers but I couldn't make out their lyrics unlike Interpol. I discovered Interpol back in 2002 and have loved them since...it's safe to say that they are my favorite band!!! I have to tell ya the guys were quite friendly with the audience...with Daniel waving to us and encouraging us to participate with the songs. Paul was talkative and funny. Like when they started to play Say Hello to the Angels I think it was a few seconds in they suddenly stopped and Paul said 'psych!!!' The whole show was amazing...a dream come true :) I'm addicted to seeing them now, I just bought tickets to see them @ clutch Cargo in Pontiac, MI.

Interpol was on top last night!! It was by far the best show I've ever been to. I saw DMB earlier this month and Interpol blew them away. The setlist was absolutely perfect and they played all the songs people wanted to hear instead of picking songs that aren't very well known or well liked. Their encore lasted for 3-4 songs instead of 1. The energy was amazing and the entire band seemed to really enjoy playing. It was an absolutely perfect show!

This was my first concert at the festival pier on the waterfront. I have seen Interpol perform at several other venues in the Philadelphia area, and until this recent show the Tower Theatre was my favorite. To my surprise, the sound was great. There is no seating, so everyone has to stand on the steps surrounding the stage. Since we arrived early enough to secure a spot near the front, our proximity and view were amazing. The bathrooms were clean and close, the beer was close, the water was close. The weather was perfect. Interpol was as good as I have ever seen, though I do miss Carlos D's stage presence. The band played all the old favorites and a few from their new album. Overall this was an excellent show.

The venue was changed at the last minute so it really made for a lot of confusion and extra walking because there was no address given. Besides that, the show was great, a couple of songs missing from the set list replaced by tracks off the new album which didnt surprise me as the tour was for the album but it didn't make me wish I had heard those certain songs any less. The band sounded great and had great energy, they were attentive of the crowd and seemed to be engaged which is always nice. They played for 2 hours and it seemed to be over in minutes, really going to prove that time flies when you're having fun. I was surprised by one of the encore choices as it was more of a mellow track but I left very happy and enjoyed my experience over all. It was my second time seeing them and can't wait to again.

Love their music, but had never seen them live before. The Bowery Ballroom was an ideal space....small and intimate, you can be right against the stage (like me) and really live the music. Interpol didn't disappoint and this was a gem of a show....the set list was a great mix of their well known material and new stuff. They're extraordinary, consummate musicians who deliver a tight performance without being mechanical. Excellent sound, a glorious event. Not a bad show, but if you look around at the rest of the setlists for 2011 you'll see that it certainly lacked any sort of uniqueness to it. The vocals could have been turned up slightly. The best location are those unobstructed: up front on the floor, upfront on balcony, on the steps on the floor, and the seats the the edge of the bar.

My husband and I live in SFV and drove up to see them like many that went. They were awesome like always. All tickets were Gen.Ad so we had to run for our spot. Thanks to my hubby we were up front. We enjoyed the show very much except for one thing. The drunk kids. My husband is 6'6 so the kids behind him had plenty to say about not being able to see over him, which he had to ignore. Being the adult is hard sometimes. We are in our 30's and you could tell that they were between 18-21. Loud, obnoxious and rude. They should of gotten there sooner. But we ignored it and enjoyed watching the band and the audience throwing panties and bra's at Paul Banks. I loved that I could see his freckles. I watched Daniel dance around the stage and girls scream for Sam before they played the next song. It was awesome and I will never forget it.

Interpol was absolutely unbelievable at the Warfield on Monday night. One of my favorite bands of all time, and one of the best shows of my life. I have no words, except wow. I will definitely be seeing them on their Sacramento date as well! If I had the money, I would follow their tour and go to every show.

Played a lot of material from Turn on the Bright Lights which was nice. New material sounds great live but really missed Carlos D.

My husband and I had a blast. It was our first concert ever and the fact that it was an Interpol concert made even more special. I wish we would have been closer to see them but the energy from the music and people made it a greatt experience. I plan on making my second concert another Interpol Event in Santa Barbara. This band is so gray and that is how I always feel. Their music is the theme music to my life. :) One of the greatest bands in my book. They are rock stars of past, present and future. No matter what time it is, they are that time. They are polished on stage and it makes for a great show.

i love the greek theater. staff are always very helpful. the venue is located in the heart of los angeles and in the middle of beautiful grifftth park. the atmosphere is very pleasing and makes the entire show experience a plus. interpol are very much loved and respected for their music and general live show. it is always a pleasure to see interpol live. they really put all their energy into their live performances. never ceasing to amaze me. did i mention the sound system is fantastic?! hearing their self-titled album live was pleasing to my ears and i will continue to discover the band's amazing talent. always changing but never forgetting their roots. they stick to it and thats what i like about interpol the most. thank you.

I had such a great time. It was amazing. When I pre-ordered the album on Ticketmaster and entered the contest for the meet and greet I had no idea that there was a chance that I would win, so when I found out a few days before the show that I won, I was ecstatic!!!! Meeting my favorite band was amazing and an experience I'll never forget. Paul Banks was sweet and I loved chatting with him for a bit.The show was also rocking and all their songs left me breathless. They prove themselves every time they've come here and I've been going to their concerts for eight years now. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves good indie music and wants to see an amazing show with moves you wouldn't expect from four guys wearing fancy suits.

Opening band Imagine Dragons were awesome, they should have been the second band! Wasn't too crazy about White Rabbits, they were a bit boring! Interpol was unforgettable, they sure know how to put on an awesome show!! I could do it again I would, had a great time!

I have seen Interpol twice before, but only in a festival setting. Because of my love for this band and seeing them perform in festival mode, I have been wanting to see them play their own show. As always, their sound was so CLEAN and amazing. They are one of the best live bands I have seen by themselves or during a lineup. There is nothing like seeing them headline, though. Loved it.

Interpol is such a great band and I'm pleased to say that they are just as good or even better live. The only reason I for the four stars is because some people in the crowd were a little too rowdy. Overall a great experience!

The band fed off the crowd's energy and played a good mix of classics and their latest hits! Only thing was that venue was rather small and oddly shaped, but other than that music was beautiful!

The Good: Interpol, the songs, the venue, the beer. The Bad: Being unable to hear Daniel Kessler's guitar. It's like hearing half the song. Don't know how the people in the soundboard could not tell, for the whole concert, no guitar sound coming from the speakers. The only place we could hear the sound of the guitar coming from was Daniel's monitors in front of him. Really bad experience sound wise.

This is the third time I've seen Interpol. First at MSG, then at a theater, and now at a club, and they are always great to see live. They should be playing bigger venues as they have a great catalog, but this was an opportunity to see them in an intimate setting and it was great.

Such an amazing experience with Interpol playing some of their greatest songs from all albums. First time seeing them live, have been waiting for 8 years to finally see them. Unforgettable!
