Led Zeppelin II
Chicago-based tribute band Led Zeppelin II nails the look, sound, and feel of the legendary rockers' epic live shows. The uncanny likeness begins with charismatic vocalist Bruce Lamont, who’s perfected both the trademark wail and mystical mannerisms of original heavy metal frontman Robert Plant. Next up is guitarist Paul Kamp, who delivers his own impressive turn imitating the lightning fast runs and monolithic riffs of Jimmy Page. Reproducing the sophisticated synthesizers and low-end rumble of John Paul Jones, bassist Matthew Longbons maintains the group’s legendary groove.

Another great concert by Zep 2. They were "spot on" with their performance and a true treat for a fantastic Saturday night at the House of Blues!

Fun concert with very talented musicians re-producing the music of Led Zeppelin, memory music for me. Great venue at the Lincoln Theater. Aside from the embarrassing intixicated woman dancing in the front for a while, it was great.

We were not sure what to expect going in to the Classic Album show, but we had a great time! Band was really good and the crowd was having a great time. Almost felt like a real Zeppelin show, but for only 600 people! I will definitely be on the lookout for more Classic Album shows!

The band was spot on with every song they played. It was almost scary how similar the singer's voice matched Robert Plant's. There wasn't a single weak link in the instrumentals either. The only weakness this band has is the fact that they do not dress the part or have any other theatrics that people who saw the original band revered. But seeing as this is only a cover band, it really didn't take anything away from what I hoped to see.

This was a great concert. I didn't necessarily have high expectations going in, but I was blown away. The musicians were outstanding, especially the lead guitar and lead singer. We had a blast, would highly recommend this to Led Zep fans.

I was surprisingly impressed! This is NOT a Led Zeppelin cover band, this is a group that covers classic rock albums, and this concert happened to be a Zeppelin album. I was not expecting this to be as good as a tribute band concert (e.g., Zoso or others that specialize in Zeppelin only), but it was. The lead singer was great! When they played the opening notes to "Since I've Been Loving You," I said to my date, "If he can sing this I'm going to be thoroughly impressed." He did an AMAZING job with a very difficult song. They did the Led Zeppelin II album and then did a "best of" set. They played some deeper cuts that casual Zeppelin fans might not recognize ("How Many More Times" as the encore? Awesome!).

Wow, I don't know where to begin other than to say that this assortment of characters posing as the real 'Holy Grail of Rock' is a travesty. Wrong on so many levels, after the first few songs, the crowd became disengaged quickly. The sound quality was well below average, the singer had no range and wasn't even in the ballpark as he struggled with the lyrics. The fans were astonished! After they came back from taking a break after the 5th or so song, it appeared the other members of the band were creating fillers so the singer didn't have to sing. As a result, the whole set began to break down to the point of us guessing what song they were playing. This band clearly has no direction or game plan when hitting the stage and they certainly weren't the caliber musicians that should try to foot the bill for a world class super group like Led Zeppelin. At one point during the set, they actually broke into a ZZ Top song. They should be ashamed! Take my word and save your money on this one! Very disappointing and a horrid of a show!

I can't believe noone has written a review for Zepp II on here. This group of guys definitely capture the sound and mood of Led Zeppelin music. The Venue hardly had anyone in it for the show. I'm sure the band was disappointed but they rocked the place anyways. If you like Led Zeppelin music at all, you owe it to yourself to go see this band. They nailed every song. They even introduce themselves as Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, etc,. I would go see them again!
