I am an experience concert goer and not many actually made me excited. I decided to buy these tickets because my girlfriend is a fan and I never listened to her. Day of the concert comes and I was blown away. I would have never expected to get touched and feel her emotions through her dances and angelic voice. Now I am a fan, thank you for the unforgettable performance that I will always cherish in my memories and most of all made my girlfriends dream come true.

Florence Welch's stentorian voice peerless. Perfect in small venues like the Bowery Ballroom, where her passion really gets through to every single member of the audience. Simply unforgettable.

Florence + The Machine were SUPER! What a marvelous entertainer Flo is! I would highly recommend this show to anyone. Such a phenominal singer, and wonderful entertainer! It was a joy to watch this performance! Such a great show for all ages! She loves children, so my 9 year old son got to be upgraded to the rail, and she waved to him! He was so stoked! Thanks Florence+ The Machine for such a wonderful show!

I've seen lots of shows. Sir Paul McCartney, Roger Waters-The Wall...Florence blew them away and they are the top of the top. I couldn't believe how into the show and into the crowd she was. She looked like a dream and the show was impossible to beat. We drove almost five hours to see her and would do it all again. Today. Her voice was spot on and she was so happy just to be there. We were second from the front in the pit, but she made that show about every single seat there. She was so close and so THERE. It was remarkable!

Florence has an amazing voice and she gives a great performance. In addition to that - the stage setting was stunning. But the concert itself was too short, lacking some of her great songs. I thought the crowd was also disappointing, a lot of them didn't know the songs, so the energies could have been better.

First of all, let me preface this whole review by saying I am a HUGE Florence fan and have been since 2009 when I heard her on BBC Radio One. Secondly, let's state the fact that neither she nor I had ever been to Red Rocks prior to this. I am new to Colorado and I wanted to save my Red Rocks experience for something special...I'm so glad I did. Florence even chose not to use her typical stage backdrop because she couldn't imagine covering up the rock jutting up from behind the stage with her lighting effects involved. I was nervous, initially, since she had just come off vocal rest but she sounded incredible. Twirling and spinning, ethereal and heavenly, even going into the audience. My friends had never seen her live and described the concert as "face melting." I found it to be soul-enhancing. It was like church...but the VERY best kind.

I traveled from North Carolina all the way to Phoenix to go to this show and I have ZERO regrets! Florence + The Machine are awesome live. The band sounded wonderful, Florence sounded like an angel (as always) and she brought so much energy to the stage. She performed flawlessly even while fluttering about the stage. I'm a huge FATM and love all their material, so I have no complaints on the setlist or the length of the show. I also really loved the venue. It's one of those places where you really can't find a bad seat. Even if you are far away (like me, in section 201) you can still see the stage fully, and there were two giant monitors (one on each side of the stage) to give you an upclose view. Florence talked between a few songs, and even spoke about having time off in Phoenix and having to wear, as she put it, "sun factor 4000", to survive the desert, which was really funny. She also introduced all the members of the band. My one and only complaint is that most of the folks in my section remained seated for the show rather than standing. They apparently weren't as psyched to be there as I was. Because of this, I plan to be in the pit at my next FATM show! Great band, great performance, great venue. I definitely would recommend you see them!

I wasn't really sure what to expect from Florence & The Machine, but their concert was exceptional! A very pleasant surprise! The musicians are excellent (they even have a full size harp!) Florence has an awesome voice, and easily transitions from beautiful pure vocals to a truly rocking performance. I can't think of any other performer that even comes close to this kind of energy and excellence. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind band, and I recommend it to everyone. Next time they come to Vegas, just go see for yourself! In addition to the band, the venue at The Cosmopolitan Boulevard Pool is almost surrealistic! You can look down at the traffic on the Strip, and see all of the surrounding casinos. The pool is covered by a floor that can accommodate hundreds of people jumping up and down through an entire song, so no danger of it collapsing!

This was my first time seeing a show at The Lawn at White River State Park, and I have to say that the venue was incredible. The lines looked ridiculously long, but they moved quickly. We purchased seats, but having lawn chairs available for use (FREE!) was a nice feature that we'll take advantage of in the future. And Florence....well, she was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I'd been looking forward to seeing her for a long time, and she did not disappoint. We weren't close enough to the stage, but I ran up a couple of times to snap some photos and it was magical.

The producers of the show had the sound levels turned WAY WAY up to the point of distortion. I've been to loud shows before and it wasn't the level, it was just everything was distorted and muddled. From reading other reviews, I think some people mistaken their venues for this problem, but the Fox is a premier venue in town and I've seen many many shows here. None of them had this problem. From the moment we walked in during the opener the sound was deafening. We thought it was just the opener's style and didn't care for it. The sounds were in the higher pitches and resonating in a very bad way. When Florence and the Machine came on it became apparent. Her voice stayed in the higher pitches and very loud at that. Vocals were indiscernible and combined with the more energetic musical segments it was a hard to make out anything. We were seated in row z and thought maybe it was our seat but we moved around and the only place that sounded ok was the lobby. Looking around at the energy of the people I think a lot of other people thought the same thing. They didn't seem very into it, a performance that was amazing in every way but sound quality. Florence Welsh has an amazing voice and her unamped voice could have projected the entire auditorium on her own. The energy of the show was amazing and true to their music, they had a very dramatic style. I only wish it wasn't ruined by turning the amps to 11 and distorting the whole show. Shame on the sound techs and producers. Overall we were seriously disappointed and actually left early, before she even got to Dog Days. It wouldn't have mattered, I wouldn't have been able to make it out anyway. We wasted $80 on tickets and a Friday evening.

I just saw her in concert a few days ago and she is absolutely and utterly amazing. Homegirl knows how to give a show, the stage unique to her with a flower-pattern and twinkling star backdrop and cages with lightbulbs. She is absolutely crazy with a beautiful voice, occasionally twirling like a ballerina, and screaming at random times. To add, she's so sweet and funny too. Her concert was a complete transcendental experience that will make you feel and fall in love with her even more than you already were.

This is one of the few concerts where the artist sounded even BETTER live than on the album. Florence's stage presence was amazing and even though I couldn't see very well, every glimpse that I got was amazing. The stage setup was amazing and the backdrop for 'Cosmic Love' was magical. If you have the opportunity to see Florence + the Machine, there is no excuse for you to not go!

The only thing that messed me up was the actual location of Festival Pier. I originally thought it was the stage in the middle of Penn's Landing, but Festival Pier was actually several blocks from there. I had to move my car and had to pay more for a closer parking lot. But other than that, the venue was great. Sure, it was standing room only (spare a couple of bleachers here and there), but the breeze from the river and the view of the bridge added a nice touch (Florence seemed to like it too, saying that Philadelphia's Festival Pier is the first place she's played where she was able to have a view of a bridge). The food/drinks were overpriced (as expected). Overall, I would definitely recommend this event/venue again. The only thing I'll stress is to wear comfortable shoes if you're planning on standing the entire time!

This was the first time I've seen Florence, and I have to say that hands down, she is one of the best singers I've heard live ever. Haunting and mesmerizing. I remember standing in the crowd almost being brought to tears by the power and emotion that shines through her vocals. A girl standing next to me during the show said "I don't want to sound stupid, but i've almost been crying this whole time." Don't worry friend, I think most of us were. While she's on stage Florence seems like a fairy amongst the flowers, spinning and dancing around with the general whimsy of a carefree child. Her outfit and the mic stand covered in flowers further portrayed to me this same imagery. I'd go see her again in a heartbeat, and suggest anyone who missed it does the same.

This show was extraordinary. The band, stage, and lighting were all a sight to behold. Florence sweeps across the stage, spinning and smiling and then belts her voice across the galaxy. When she speaks, it's a treat - the huge sound she emits while singing is absent, and a sweet, child-like voice takes its' place. The songs are brilliant and her stage presence unmatched. This is what Stevie Nicks would sound and look like if born forty years later. Pure, unadulterated heaven. Do whatever you can to see them! The only con is the venue. The sound is fantastic, but standing room only behind people much taller (and drunker!) is not the best way to see a show. Come on, Festival Pier - get some decent seating!

Florence is as magical on stage as one would imagine; she floats around in her fluttering dress like a fire-haired vision. Her voice is just as powerful and brilliant as in her cd's, it mesmerizes and baptizes the audience. The minute she steps on stage you are in her world of wonder and mystery with harps, trumpets, electric guitars and flashing lights at her command. She is your goddess sent to captivate your full attention.

This was my first concert at the age of 34 and I drove 6 hours to get there, it was well worth it! I wasn't sure what to expect since I had seen live performances by her on TV that were not great. I was blown away by the level of talent shown by Florence and by the musicians traveling with her. Everything they did sounded just like, or better than, the album. The venue was good too...although I wasn't keen on the full pat downs and being forced to pour my drink in a plastic cup. Maybe this is common practice though.

Alas this is not your normal review, as I was not able to make it to the show... not for lack of trying though. Great energy, sound and set list. Florence didn't stop running, and dancing without loosing voice control when singing, she even went all the way back of the arena to sing for the upper level on the back. The band sounded great, the only down was on "what kind of man..." The guitar riff was not sounding as powerful as it sounds on the album. They even struggle at the beginning of that specific song. The total highlight "Dog days are over". All in all great concert

We were lucky enough to be at ACL just a week prior, she was so good at Austin City Limits, that being that we just live down the street from the Bowl, there was no way we were not going to see her again. However, totally different experience, after a summer of shows at the Bowl, we have noticed that people at the Bowl, tend to be really mellow, and want to sit in their seats, drink wine, and just take videos with their phones. It really drives us crazy, because we are people that like to get up and move to the music. Florence, is really good, and was able to get people out of their seats, and at one point she actually asked the audience to put their phones in their pockets, and just be with her, it was amazing to see and entire song with no cell phones, as that happens to be a pet pieve of mine. I get it, but take your pic, and 30 seconds of your favorite song, then put those phones away, it really helps the artist give you a better show. Anyway, overall she is absolutely magical, go see her.

Having just seen The Walkmen throw a helluva show down in Santa Ana, I was already mourning the loss of them as an opener for this show. The Weeknd s performance had a lot to live up to, especially since I wasn t impressed with the live footage I ve seen online. Sadly, I did think it fell short of being decent. I thought The Weeknd was going to be some sort of game changer for R&B, I thought Usher and Ne-Yo had to run back home and prepare themselves for the take over. But they don t have to worry about anything. Studio artists are cool and all for your iPod. but I could care less about MP3′s since they re free. And performing your own music, in a mediocre fashion that wasn t vibing like the trilogy The Weekend put out is just lames. I didn t find anything dark about the music, and I thought the setlist was weak sauce. His back up band was alright, the guitarist would have his moments, but it also fell short of other live R&B action I ve seen live. For only having a couple nights run on this tour, he should ve gone big, but maybe he doesn t need to since his young audience doesn t know any better. From sizing up the crowd, if The Walkmen had performed, I m sure it would ve ended up being the same deal with kids asking themselves a variant form of the ‘Who the Hell is Arcade Fire? question, just as I heard it was the case with their tour with Fleet Foxes. Sad, sad, sad… Especially when mixed with the the $12+ beers sold at the Shoreline. Having to pay for insanely over priced beer twice in a week, doesn t happen too often for me, especially if I m not like insanely wasted and buying some fancy-shmancy brew. Florence s performance on the other hand was pretty, pretty good. She performed almost all the songs I wanted to hear, and it was pretty packed with energy and showmanship from start to finish. Great stage set up, maybe too much white light since she s nice and pale and all, but still a helluva show. I was impressed to hear songs better live than on the album; Breaking Down had an larger range on the vocals, and Heartlines sounded more solid being an acoustic guitar/stripped-down version. Florence was constantly running along the sides of the lower level, spinning around, and interacting with the crowd. I mean, I was already glad being there, but she definitely made it feel special, and I d be down to catch live again, and again.

Florence and the Machine was amazing! I would highly recommend see them . Her voice was made for the Hollywood Bowl. I didn't realize how active she is on stage, she runs back and forth and jumps up and down while she's singing. Great interaction with the audience. She's worth seeing at least once!

I took my two daughters, 10&12, for their first hollywood experience. It was all I had hoped. The hollywood bowl is the most wonderful venue. It makes you feel good inside and out. Then to see Florence and the machine, well magic!!!!

I mean, you cant lose when you are going to a Weeknd AND Florence and the Machines concert. The fact that these 2 artists did a venue together was almost as if it was just for me! The concert was UH-mazing! Florences voice is even more angelic in person!. As for the venue... CANT COMPLAIN! I love ANY outdoor venue! There is something about hearng one of your favorite bands play as the winds crosses your face. LOVED IT! ONLY REASON FOR 4 stars: Nothings perfect... I mean really. 5/5 thats a REACH I would push 4.5 maybe 4.75 but PERFECT? Dont feel bad I have yet to give 5 stars for anything.

This is the 5 time I've seen Florence & The Machine and it's always been excellent. Their latest album, Ceremonials, is fantastic. Florence bounded around the stage and interacted playfully with the crowd, and her voise was in top form.

Florence Welch probably has one of the better voices in music right now. Her performance is theatrical and full of energy. She rocks harder than her album and you will be wanting more once you leave.

The show was simply amazing! Florence has a voice that shocks! Her speaking voice is so quiet and angelic but when she sings? Wow! The band was also great! We sat right along the perimeter of the "mosh pit" area and had a perfect, close view. Definitely one of the best shows I've been to and a great way to start the summer of concerts!

Florence can sure sing. Her dancing and green leggy outfit also hold your attention. Set started upbeat, picked one or two spots to slow down and then finished with a great encore.

the opening act was good but played too long. I wish Florence played longer. she was amazing. i Brought a friend who is sort of a girl who is a big grateful dead fan and by the end of the show she was asking to barrow my cd. Florence is such a performer and her vocals are outstanding. Everything sounds just like the album and better. it was a great show. I can't wait for the new cd and to see her again.

I have never been as impressed with a band's performance as I was with Florence + the Machine. This band proves that you don't need lots of props and theatrics (like Lady Gaga's shows) to make a concert great - all you need is a good sound and strong vocals. While many singers get drowned out by the rest of the band, Florence Welch's powerful voice holds it own against the music. She belted out the lyrics with a strength that you don't experience on their album. The magnitude of her voice evoked intense emotions in me and brought me to tears numerous times throughout the show. Along with Florence's incredible vocals, the rest of the band played with a fervor that left me in awe. The heavy drums and fairy tale feeling of the harp complemented each other perfectly and created a dramatic effect that made the whole experience surreal. The smaller venue also gave the show a more intimate feeling which you don't get from many other places. Overall, I had an incredible night and will be waiting eagerly for their return!

Florences' voice was amazing. The sound at the greek was great, but there was a little interference in the mic. Florence looked whimscial in her yellow flowy dress. My husband commented that she look like an angel. He enjoy the show eventhough he didn't know any of her songs. The only thing that disappointed me was she didn't perform the "kiss with a fist" song....my favorite. She did perform a new song that is coming out on her new album. Overall, it was a great show, I would diffinitly see her again.

I was truly blown away, not only did she sound AMAZING live (voice and music) but her stage presence was astounding. She really made everyone feel welcome, and unlike most bands I've seen, she communicated with her audience and talked to a few people. I love her style, she's like a little forrest nymph, Truly an unforgettable show :)

She really knows how to work the audience and connect with her fans but at the same time is very gracious and humble about it. I drove 2 1/2 hours to see her and will definitely do it again. Florence was well worth the wait....from the moment I purchased my tickets to the moment I stepped foot into the Greek Theater it was magic! From her flowery backdrop to the birdcage lights she set up an earthy, fairie, magical feeling. At the first note of "my boy builds coffins" I knew that her voice was going to carry me into a musical escape! My heart beat faster, my skin tingled and I danced and sang harder than ever as each song played out. Her voice and stage presence is amazing! She floated around the stage dancing as she sang, beating her drum and interacted with the audience. I was happy to hear a couple new songs and ecstatic to hear a couple played acoustically - totally incredible! Her voice is mesmerizing! I highly recommend to anyone to check out her music & if you get the chance, please, catch a show! Phenomenal!!!! ♥

I stumbled across Florence + The Machine in the same way most fans did- I heard her record "Heavy In Your Arms" on the Twilight: Eclipse Movie Soundtrack. I was extremely impressed with what I heard and decided to download her entire album, "Lungs". I listened to her all summer and just about every day once I started school. "Lungs" had become one of my all-time favorite albums by any artist in the last decade. It was one of the few albums I could listen to every single song on the album. I found something to appreciate in every song. I bought tickets to the show as soon as possible. When the day finally arrived I could barely contain my enthusiasm. I knew this was going to be a great show, and I don't think anything could have disappointed me. My friends and I arrived and landed ourselves spots in the second row of the pit. She opened with my favorite song, "Drumming" and my heart went wild. She delivered the opening song with so much passion, energy, and magic and I knew that Florence was going to meet my expectations for the night. Many of the songs sounded significantly different than they did on the recording (as is the case with most live shows), but I might dare to say that some songs sounded even more incredible while being performed live such as "Blinding", "Girl With One Eye", "My Boy Builds Coffins", or "Heavy In Your Arms". Florence never stopped impressing me with her beautiful voice the entire evening, as she hit every note on the dot, and rang in some additional runs in the middle of certain songs. Most of the songs in fact, had a braver and more powerful arrangement to them which I found particularly exciting. In addition, the way in which Florence carried herself was so mystifying and hypnotic. The barefooted singer always looked and felt so free, from prancing around the stage to twiddling her fingers to the sounds around her, we were watching an artist truly liberate herself: a truly moving and inspiring spectacle.

I don't know how she does it but Flo sings even better in concert than she does on the album. We stood two people back from the stage and had the best time. Florence seemed shy and kind of embarrassed when everyone cheered for her. It's nice to know that she is down to earth. She sang her heart out and danced the whole time making the concert one of the best shows I've ever been to! I completely recommend seeing her live.

My one negative comment is about the lighting of the show, and as such, I'm not sure whether it reflects of the band or on the venue. Seriously though, the glare of the stage lights straight into the audience sometimes made it not only impossible to see Florence, but impossible to see, period. As for positive comments, well. From the first chords of her opening song, I was born up not only by the excitement of the crowd, but by the energy and strength that Florence and her music radiates. She seemed so happy to be there, and New York was more than happy to have her. She is a wonderful personality on stage--warm and playful--and her enthusiasm was more than infectious. I forgot my Halloween-related soreness and exhaustion in a whirl of jumping, clapping, singing, screaming, and generally incandescent chaos. Florence's voice is a powerhouse and a miracle of the highest proportion. Some of her vocal riffs and musical climaxes left me literally hyperventilating with joy. Florence and the Machine's music is about love as an overwhelming force, and nowhere have I felt that more strongly than at this concert, subsumed by her love for what she was doing and the audience's love of her for doing it so brilliantly well.

This show was truly an amazing experience. Florence is such a great live performer. The album is aptly named, because she has an amazing set of lungs. Her energy and passion for the lyrics and songs really resonated with the crowd. I went with a friend who wasn't a big F+TM fan and he is now an instant groupie! I was very surprised to see a lot of young teen fans there, but then of course there's Twilight, (heavy in your arms) so it made sense. My only regret is that I didn't purchase tickets for both nights she was in NYC for. I can't wait to see her again.

We got there a few mins after the doors opened and managed to get a spot close to the stage! We were like 3 feet from Florence, which was awesome! She really projects a sense that she loves what she's doing, she seems very genuine and sounds fantastic live (like the album but better!). Her costume was very cool--she looked like a mythical creature! My boyfriend and I had a great time and left with grins pasted to our faces. Go Florence--can't wait for the next album.

I saw the saviour...of music. A goddess and her machine performed her "Lungs" out last night and blew the roof off Terminal 5 in the city. No words can describe it. No concert I've seen can compare.
