Chris Young always interacts with the crowd and always puts on a superb show! Sung a lot of my favorite songs and everything! Loved that we only had to pay 5 bucks for the ground so even better view of chris than our normal seats which were great even then. Not happy with the crowd I was with... the security guy wasn't doing much especially when beer was being dumped and thrown. Otherwise... amazing night!!!!

The horses that are cowboy ridden to rescue the bronc riders are really fantastic;Their horses are really trained well. The rythm of the Rodeo was smooth and went from event to event, only delays were when a steer or horse was uncooperative. Fantastic show, my very first full rodeo. We had friends from England with us and my brother in law from western Colorado and it was impressive to them.

Tracy was great! His voice is crisp and sounds just like his CD's. He is personable and laid-back. The unfortunate part of the concert was he was treated like a newcomer. The big screen that was used for the rodeo was turned off, so people in the back of the center didn't have much to see, I'm guessing, without going to the floor. We were fortunate to have good seats and didn't need to move for the concert.

The rodfeo was fantastic -competition was fantastic - annoiuncers were very very good- timing of events went off like clockwork - no boring lapses in entertainment. As for Tracy Lawrence, my companion and I did not care for the 1st set of songs - we were not familiar with them. We got up to leave early and as we were leaving he started singing songs more familiar.. By this time we were tired so left anyway - all in all it was a lot of fun to go to the rodeo and the singing was average.

This year's Ricer City Rodeo was a fantastic outing for my family.. The pace of the event was perfect, with few pauses between events. The announcers and displays explained the scoring of each event, allowing my family to understand what was happening and even hazard some guesses on potential scores. We had great ring-side seats that allowed us to see just enough of the behind-the-scenes activity to keep us engaged and entertained. Even my jaded 16-year old son was smiling throughout the evening. I felt bad for the artist performing after the rodeo as a large portion of the audience left after the rodeo events. This really distracted from the ambiance of the concert and made it feel rather bleak, in spite of the skills of Mr. Lawrence.

The sound system has degraded horribly at the Qwest/Centrylink Center. We sat in the first row of 203 and had to struggle to hear what the announcers were saying during the rodeo. The acoustics for Tracy Lawrence were just as bad. I felt bad for Tracy, as he deserves better from event centers. We left after just a few songs :(

The performances in the rodeo were fantastic! And the cowgirls were super-attractive! But . . . the sound volume was overwhelming and, along with the constant talking one the sound system about each contender, detracted from an event that could have had wonderful audience participation. If I'd know it was going to be that loud, I'd have worn earplugs. But - I'd go again (with earplugs) to see the rodeo and all of the side demonstrations!

he is an extroardinary singer... very talented.. and knows how to entertain the crowd... when he left the stage and the crowd asked for an encore... he retrurned and did an excellent job of singing and entertaining us.... more than just 1 or 2 songs he sang for abot another 30 minutes... wow... what a performer... omaha nebraska loves you clay walker!!!

Rodeo was good...But the concert had a lot to be desired. it was not the musicians, I think what I heard was Clay Walker was great but the amplified sound was so loud how could you tell. It was just way out of balance and I don't think any concert has to be that loud. We finally left as it was just piercing to one's ears. I don't think I wll be back until some that is not deaf is running the soundboard. TH

The River City Rodeo is a great opportunity to see some of the worlds most talented cowboys in action. An all around top notch event. The cowboys, announcers and clowns are all first rate. Great fun for all the family. The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because of a parking misshap. I'm not sure if it was the fault of the event organizers. We tried to use the free off site parking at Physicians Mutual Insurance and no shuttle transportation ever showed up. Some folks waited there for over an hour before giving up. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

Fabulous rodeo & concert! The Sheplers/Justin vendor was very rude. My daughter wanted to buy a belt buckle & they refused to serve her because they had to close up shop. This was before 7:30pm. Please, make these vendors stay open until 8 or 9pm. People who don't get off work until evening have very limited time to shop around. I was shocked 2 years in a row now on how early they closed. Not fair to your customers who have to work 8-5.

The rodeo was great. Chris Young was great also, except he didn't sing "Neon". The sound was so loud our seats rattled. The lights were so bright shinning in our eyes. The people several rows back never quit talking. Their kids with them were hanging over the railing, which made me nervous.

The contestants came to compete and earn their spot at the big show in Vegas! Great rides, good times, great venue. The rodeo was high energy, the concert was a great added bonus, the buckle presentation was a fun way to see the winners of Friday's round. My only suggestion is regarding the buckle presentation. It was very hard to understand what was said by the announcers and the winners. The volume was definitely loud enough, but hard to make out what was being said, muffled sounding.

This was my first Rodeo! It was very exciting. I was relieved that no one sustained an injuries. I would recommend this experience to a friend. River City Round-up comes every year and I always plan on going but something always came up. This year I not only planned on going....I actually went and had such a good time. The skill it takes to ride a horse let alone rope a steer while riding a horse. Truly amazing! Diamond Rio's concert was awesome! Their style of music is one all of their own totally unique! I am so glad I stayed for it. Whereas one concert didn't make a true fan out of me I would consider strongly going to another one. I hope they come back soon!

My first time to the River City Roundup.. it blew me away! I was amazed at all the extra activities tied to it. It was like the State Fair on steroids. Awesome exhibits, animal shows and an amazing rodeo! I've been waiting my whole life to see Diamond Rio and it was well worth the wait. I will def go back more than once next year!

The rodeo was great! The concert was less than expected. I, like many others, left the concert within the first 15 minutes because the acoustics were terrible and the background instruments were so loud you couldn't understand the words in the songs. Thumbs down on the concert.

I would recommend seeing this rodeo again in a heartbeat as it was a blast. Was rather disappointed in Diamond Rio. I love their music but they only played for one hour and the advertisements said they would be playing for 2 hours.

This rodeo was very comparable to the actual finals in Vegas!!! HIGH quality! I think the only reason there wasn't a bigger crowd was because of the big Wisconsin/Husker football game. :)

I attended all three nights and absolutely loved the venue and the event. The only problem I have is that after the event was over, I found out that I could have bought a season pass which covered all three nights instead of the three individual tickets I purchased, and that the season tickets were much cheaper. I really wish this would have been brought to my attention sooner. I won't let that happen again next year.

The rodeo events themselves were good but the organizers did not put on a super spectacular show for the second biggest rodeo event in the US. It was definitely blah. The concert was OK but Rhett focuses more on drinking in every song than musicianship or entertainment for our die-hard traditional and contemp country family. We saw several leave after the rodeo and then again in the middle of the concert.

River city roundup was a fun event for the whole family. Championship rodeo was fun of great cowboys and we got what paid for. Thomas Rhett was ok, a lot of the songs played needed to be more familiar and less talking by the performer. The event needed to be scheduled about an hour earlier. Most people went home before the concert. There was a lot of empty seats in the arena that were not listed on ticketmaster. Secondary markets need to be considered illegal scalping. It does not give people that want to go to the event a chance to go because the tickets on the secondary market are marked up 100 to 400%.

Rodeo could have been great. However there was obviously something wrong with the dirt floor with one horse after another stumbling resulting in several re-rides. Talent was there to be an outstanding show. I felt cheated to some extent. Thomas Rhett was a disappointment. Was expecting a c&w singer. Opened with a old rap/rock overly loud song. Wife and I got up and left. If it would do any good would ask for a refund.

Event was okay. Not much entertainment, just one after the other rodeo. Very expensive and almost half the seats were empty. A $32 ticket only gets you into the deathzone from where everything looks as small as Venus. Unless they drop prices, not worth going.

disappointed with pre-rodeo, Thurs., Sept. 25. Gate attendant did NOT let anyone through until 6:15. We missed seeing our grandson in the "Stick horse" contest. We & a lot of other people were very upset. No excuse for it!! I called & left a message, but NO ONE has ever returned my call. POOR PR on your part.

The River City Rodeo was awesome!!! Kids had fun watching all the events and the announcers were wonderful!! Great family event!! The concert afterwards however...not so great. I expected Jerrod Niemann and his band to play their songs. Most of the songs they played were cover songs :( We left half way through the concert with unhappy children.

I've been wanting to attend the rodeo for quite some time. Thanks to recently marrying a country man this came true. I attended the Thursday show with no concert, no problem. Needless to say we both, along with my new father-in-law had an amazing time. There was a true variety of competitions. The children riding the sheep were very cute. Watching the cowboys riding the bulls in person was 100 times better then watching them on television. Funnel cakes, beer, and rodeo perfect combo. Recommend this show to all ages. Truly a family friendly event.

Just wish no adult drinks or beer was served. my son was scared because of this drunk lady (pissing everybody off) had a loude, nasty mouth. so its NOT FAMILY FUN- wait till the international show jumping, NOW THATS FAMILY FUN. gave it fair becuase DRINKING IS ALLOWED.

This was our first time at the River City Rodeo. It was an awesome rodeo. We always go to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas so was a bit leary as to how it would be. Being it is one of the last rodeos before the finals it draws top cowboys and cowgirls. We only went one night and should have gone to all three. Next time we will.

This is the best!! Real rodeo--Seeing competitors from Nebraska is a bonus. Thursday evening is the best bargain, plus getting to see the 4-H and FFA members bringing in their best for the stock show is just an added bonus. This is our vacation day every fall.

Rodeo was great, action packed and well timed. Concert following the building emptied out, the sound guy had the band drown out the singers and you should never charge to go onto the floor to stand for an hour!

The rodeo was fantastic. It had been so many years since I attended a rodeo that it was ALL NEW for me. I absolutely LOVED the young kids riding the sheep--what a riot!!! and the comic announcer saying that "it was the only form of legalized child abuse"!! lol lol Thanks for a great show. Sue

We took our son and he loved watching the little kids Mutton busting. We were totally thrilled by the Rodeo and not having any time between events to be bored.
