Syracuse Orange Football

The Dome is a great place to see a football game. Tickets were reasonable and even in the second section we could see the field real well. Any event there would be enjoyable!!

The Carrier Dome is a great place to watch college football. Great atmosphere and great, friendly fans. Even though the Orange beat my Clemson Tigers, I enjoyed the event. I just didn't enjoy the final outcome. My only suggestion is that they sell various alcoholic beverages at all concession stands. I was seated in section 115 but had to go all the way to section 104 for cider and mixed drinks. Beer was the only adult beverage offered at the stand right behind my section.

I knew it was going to be a good game to take my grandson to as it was his first , he had the time of his life.

This was my first football game at the Dome. I have been to basketball games here where half the dome is closed off, and this was totally different. With the whole thing open and orange everywhere there is so much energy and it's really fun to be a part of that.

My friend and I were just looking for something to do on a Saturday and neither if us had been to an SU football game at the Dome, so we decided to go. We got the cheaper tickets - stairs are steep. I'd recommend spending more on tickets so you don't have to climb with a beer in your hand and kids running up and down the stairs. The beers, too expensive but hey it is what it is. It was kind of annoying that the dude opens the beers for you. Like hello I got 2 at once so I didn't have to climb back down the mountain. Bathrooms were great. The Dome was humid. Parking $15 at Sky. Shuttles were awesome! It was an experience. It was fun, but not for me.

We had an amazing time - the crowd was great - the game was great. We enjoyed the tailgating in the quad and will definitely do this again! Great family event!

Competitive game between #1 Clemson and overperforming Syracuse.Cordial fans on both sides added to the good experience. Dome is a great place for any event.Good seats on 20 yard line.

Awesome game, Cuse held close throughout the game creating a lot of energy in the stands. Can't wait till next year when they play Notre Dame.

I took my adult son with Down Syndrome to the dome for a football game. All of the staff went out of their way to accommodate us in navigating the facility. My only complaint is the same at all stadiums: my son, as with many physically disabled and elderly people, has troubling with the stairs.

Great atmosphere. Transportation between parking lot and the Dome was very organized and efficient. Fans of home team were friendly. Not enough replay on big screen.

Awesome game with Syracuse holding their own against a great LSU team for the entire game. Drove 4 hours and stayed in a hotel for the game, got to campus early had a great time. My seat was absolutely terrible, a total disappointment. Seat was full price($70) and did not mention that it was obstructed view.

Loved watching the Orange win their opener. However, the warm, un-air conditioned dome made it a bit sticky. Would've hated to see what it would have been like if the place had been full. First time back at SU for football since undergrad days before the dome, had a fun night.

The game was very fun. I have never been to the carrier dome. It was cold out, so it was nice to watch a football game "inside". The seating was bench seating, not individual seating. We got to know the people sitting next to us.

Great game cause FSU Kicked Butt. Syracuse fans were great and fun to be around. The Dome was easy to get to, easy to get around, and the event staff were very helpful. The only negative was the guy selling programs said something to my son about me not buying a program.

Nothing beats the pageantry and atmosphere of a college football game on a sunny fall day. I only wish Syracuse would build a football only outdoor stadium. If weather is a concern make it a retractable roof.

We had a great time at the Carrier Dome! We will definitely be back. Unfortunately we were near people who had too much to.drink.

SU played awful vs Loiusville. A high school team could have done better.

Wow, I can remember seeing this game when it started on August 13, 2013. It's hard to imagine that it lasted until September 27, 2014. Longer than an entire year! I blame all the TV timeouts and 'missed calls' being reviewed. It really slowed down the game. However, great game. Some of the players even graduated in May 2014 before the game finished.

I THINK IT IS GREAT THAT THEY PLAY IN FRONT OF THE CHAPEL. I WAS AMAZED THAT THEY PLAY AS LONG AS THEY DID. IT GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO SEE THE KIDS PLAY BECAUSE WHEN THEY ARE ON THE FIELD DEPEND ON WHERE YOU SIT YOU CAN'T SEE THEM UNLESS YOU SET THAT YOU CAN SEE THE MOVIE SCREEN. My daughter and I had a wonderful time with my niece Sara king. We went to a great game! They also honored Donovan McNab during half time. The fans were great and the students were polite and fun to be around. I would highly recommend seeing a game at the carrier dome anytime! Barb Coogan

This was a great game between Penn State and Syracuse to kickoff the 2013 College Football season. Everyone who goes to Metlife Stadium or any NFL stadium this year should be prepared for their new bag limitations but thankfully the parking team provided guests with clear plastic bags that were allowed to be brought into the stadium with our belongings.

Syracuse kept it close but USC was simply the better team

Ryan Nassib as spot on with passes, but SU couldn't catch the ball or make a tackle to save their lives. On top of that, even my 10 yr old daughter thought the refs were S. FL fans for the horrible calls that were made. Still and all, it was my kid's first trip to the Dome with many more to follow hopefully. We had a blast despite our home team losing. Thanks.

I took my nephew to the Syracuse/BC game at the Dome. The directions for parking on the SU website were not very good and we got lost. Maybe our fault. We ended up parking about 5 blocks away in a business lot for $10. The walk was up hill but not too far...but of course Syracuse in November the weather was horrid. Cold and windy. We quickly made it to our seats once inside which were in the 301 level...row W. This is the highest level and roughly 4 rows from the very top but on the 50 yard line. The seats were still great! From that side we had a clear view of both scoreboards. I was a bit nervous for these seats since they are bleacher types at that level. I thought we would end up squished and pushed out of our seats but the bleacher seats provide ample room and are far enough above and below each row that you don't have someone in front of you blocking your view. The game was great and the food wasn't too overpriced. We got a slice of pizza, a hot dog, a pretzel and two drinks for $20. Not bad. Getting out of the stadium wasn't bad at all and it is very close to I81 so we quickly jumped on that and headed on our way.

Experiencing a football game at the Syracuse Carrier Dome is amazing! The excitement generated by the students and fans rivals many professional league events. If you are anywhere near Syracuse, you should go to at least one game per year.

Syracuse has been offering $15 tickets to home games in an effort to get fan support and attendance numbers up and IT'S WORKING. What a great game! First home win in I don't know how long. Its loud and energetic in the Dome, huge crowd and a great time! Not a bad seat in the house.

SU football is obviously still rebuilding its team after 10+ years of disappointment but even so we saw three quarters of exciting football played in one of the best stadiums in the nation. Built almost 40 years ago, SU's on campus Carrier Dome is a fantastic place to see a football game. Yes it is loud, even when not sold out. Every seat is close to the field. The third deck is a fantastic place to see a game! Its on campus location is the best part. The pre-game warm up on the main quad is not to be missed. There are party tents, cheerleaders, food, the marching band all having a good time. It is a nice on campus tailgate party. The Carrier Dome still serves beer and wine until the end of the half time break, maybe the only on-campus stadium to do so. Go early and find a parking lot near campus to the west and north of campus. Parking in the outer lots near Skytop and Manley is more of a hassle, you will have to take a crowded shuttle bus up the the campus. GO! ITS FUN!

Pretty good view at the 50 yard line in the high seats. Great value.

The Loud House was rocking for Syracuse's huge win over the defending national Champs

The upset win was a terrific and exciting game. The Ticketmaster staff made it possible be mailing physical tix so the gift could be presented. 45,000 attendees made the Loud House the loudest!

The Dome is just a great venue! Marshall Street, the campus, etc. THEN, AWESOME GAME!

Best game I've been to in years. Dome is a great place to watch football and basketball.

We travelled to Syracuse from Pennsylvania for a football game at the Carrier Dome. We found just the seats we wanted on Ticketmaster, booked a hotel a few miles from the event and were excited about the trip. There were a few challenges. What to wear? The Dome is an indoor event. We observed a giant thermometer display and for our event it showed "80" all the time. So - a bit warm. Parking? We called the University parking people and were told that for the event, all parking lots are first-come, first served. The ones close in are by permit only The best bet was the University Avenue lot. That one is most likely to have space available on arrival, and a 1/2 mile plus walk through town and campus. We opted for the University-operated Skytop lot two miles away with shuttle busses. That worked for us. The Event Experience? Ok, our lasting memory will be the unsportsmanlike conduct of the home fans - booing and heckling visiting team players injured on the field. The behavior was loud and could be heard throughout the venue. In our section, two fans were especially obnoxious. One annoyed fan objected, resulting in a large group of men ganging up on HER. Security appeared to calm the confrontation. It's never OK to heckle injured players on the field. Lasting memory.

Being a Syracuse grad and team member,many years back, all of us wanted a different end to the game-a victory. But, Syracuse team is young and FSU is very good. Bad combination. Dome still is an exceptional venue to see a football game Been many times since graduation and will go again, next season.

I always try and attend games such as these. As a lifelong SU fan I still enjoy seeing a nationally ranked team come into the Dome. Delvin Cook was everything that has been written about him. He talent was outstanding and he put on quite a show. Congratulations to him for his breaking FSU's record. Syracuse is in a rebuilding mode and if Coach Babers is given enough time we will see some exciting games in the next couple of years. Please be patient Syracuse.

ticket prices are high for families to sit in 101 tier seats, kids sat elsewhere, but otherwise great time, great day ,great venue, no complaints.

Had an awesome time even though my team lost. The seat was good and the game was fun and exciting. Would certainly recommend that everyone take in a game at the Carrier Dome at some point in their life.

The Carrier Dome was loud and a perfect place to watch a football game. Not a bad seat in the house, and a great ACC matchup between Virginia Tech and Syracuse.

First time at Carrier Dome, so I was excited. The location is clean - which isn't surprising since we're on Syracuse University's campus. The food/beer was great and the game, although we lost, was awesome none the less. Be warned though, that the stairs do not have handles. Not fun if you're short and have items in your hands. It's a climb up where my husband and I sat, but overall, great views. Would absolutely return again,

I thought in the first quarter syracuse was playing well by scoring 17 points in a row and holding south florida on dfence but what i think what syracuse orange need to do to improve their game is on defence pass rush the QB and put the safetys and cornerbacks on the wide receivers and tightends not take it and put the whole defence just on 1 person receiving the ball for the other team and they also need to rush the field goal and punter kickers when they kick to try to score that way and block better on kick off returns and anytime when someone is running down the field to help the person running the ball score and also on offence pass the ball more instead of running it up the middle all the time only run it on special occasions on short downs when yards are needed that my thoughts for the orange to turn things around to maybe be back one day in top 25 and maybe a champion again since its been 60 years since last. later steven hebert.

Nice to witness a true freshman QB Christian Hackenberg starting his first college season at an NFL stadium! Seats were AWESOME and I would definitely sit there again for another game. Penn State came out with a win, so all in all it was fun.

The game and seating were good. The security and ticket people are not friendly. The food prices are outrageous! $14 for a hot dog and bottle of water!

The seats were great and the staff did a good job of keeping things safe. The gates could have opned a half hour earlier. No peper towels in any of the holders of the first men's room we entered over an hour before kickoff. That is inexcusable. Too much too loud pumped in music. It was a college football game with two bands. Why not let us hear them? Also, when the pumped in music was plaaying, I had to scream to talk to the person next to me. Changed seats to get out of sun.

The stadium experience and the ticket value was extraordinary . I highly recommend college football at Met Life.

I am a long time, diehard Penn State fan and I was thrilled to watch the Nittany Lions in my hometown stadium (MetLife). I purchased my tickets as soon as they were available and had good seats on the 45 yard line. However, I was dismayed to see tickets available on Living Social during the 3-4 weeks leading up to the game with discounts up to 40 - 50% off. Ticketmaster should rebate some of the purchase price to the fans who supported their team by purchasing early instead of screwing us with overpriced tickets. Next time I'll wait to see what discounts come out before the game. Other than the price, it was a great game between two young, but highly talented quarterbacks. Both teams' quarterbacks will be in the NFL someday.

Good game time, fun hours tailgating pre game, wish the tailgaters would be more considerate with their garbage afterwards (bag it and take it home with you, put it in your garbage/recycling collection! Don't leave loose bottles and cans in the lots where cars can run them over and get flat tires becuz u r too lazy to pick your mess up!!...we are ALL better than that!) Really appreciated the shady side of the stadium! Teams have some adjusting to do before conference schedule begins....

Incredible game - even MORE incredible seats!! Didn't realize that the seats came with Club usage, which came in handy because it was crazy hot & humid!! All MetLife stadium employees were so friendly & courteous - overall a great experience!

Got endzone seats for the Penn State-Syracuse game. I usually go to 2-3 games at State College each year, but this was a real treat. The seats are more comfortable and generally closer to the action. The number of concession stands just dwarfs what is available at Beaver Stadium - not to mention the fact that you can get beer (that might have been a minus because there were some real drunk loudmouths - unfortunately wearing blue and white - around us). The best part was being able to take a train into the stadium. Very handy and efficient, and I'm not holding my breath waiting to see that in Happy Valley

Great venue all the amenities plenty of concessions and bathrooms. Only suggestion better signage to the escalators. We were on 300 level too but stadium is built up instead of out so we were right on top of the action.

SU football is still rebuilding, but a very good gameday experience. Good game topped off by the band playing at Varsity on M Street after the victory.
