For starters, it s an extremely well designed venue. The sound and viewing was outstanding. The Bottle Rockets opened up and were very good. Turnpike Troubadours and Cody Jinks are far and away the best acts in country music right now. Go see them if you ever get the chance.

I'm not a big country fan, but seeing as how an old friend from high school is in the band, I wanted to show my support. The opening act, the O's, were impressive and very entertaining. I want a huge fan of The Green Cards. But Turnpike Troubadours saved the night, and put on a great show! I'm now a huge fan, and can't wait to see them again. The venue was nice and the bartenders were super friendly.

Went to the show to see the GreenCards. They were as expected....awesome!!!!! Then the TurnPike Troubadours hit the stage. They were very, very good. Thought they outdid their last show I saw. I just wish the other concerts goers would have tried to move their loud conversations elsewhere. Why would you go to a concert and spend the entire show shouting a conversation, when you paid good money to see the show? You can talk at home.

This was my first time to see Turnpike Troubadours. I missed their last two shows in the Dallas area and I was not going to miss this one! They were SO worth the wait! Their music is fun as anyone knows from listening. However, their connection with the crowd was personal and the crowd was as much a part of the show as the band. From moment one the crowd sang every lyric as if they had written them themselves. I can not wait to see them again, and am not likely to miss them anytime they are in town.

Thoroughly enjoyed this band's show! Great energy and tons of great music. They love what they do and it shows. I am a huge fan of all of their albums and the live performance is even better! One small complaint I have is I could do without the guitarist RC's experimentation at lead vocalist but that is just me.......I love Evan Felker's voice but RC should stick to backup vocals and guitar in my humble opinion.

I've been going to live performances my whole life and these guys excel. Their sound was impeccable as it was clear and neither too loud or too quiet. They sound exactly the same from their albums to live performance. The whole cast is an amazing group of musicians. They know exactly how much energy to bring to every song performed and absolutely killed it. My fiance who is just beginning to enjoy parts of country music, liked the performance so much that she chose a song of theirs to become our music to our first dance. Which is amazing to me and well go prefect to our barn wedding. Which will be in 28 days, so I couldn't be happier. Thanks Turnpike Troubadours, you will forever be a part of our lives because of your amazing performance.

This band shows up to play. They hit the stage running and never let up. Good music, strong lyrics, and lots of personality on stage. The Pageant is a great venue and TT packed the house. Sidenote: People need to show up and listen to the music, not stand around and visit. You want to visit??? Go to the bar...across the street.

I have been a long time fan of Turnpike Troubadours, and this was the best concert of theirs I have seen. I could tell they were really enjoying themselves and pouring everything out onto the stage. The crowd was loving it. It was a perfect concert!

Great show, if you like the Troubadours music you will love them in concert. I wasn't sure what to expect from them live, but they put on a top notch show...lively and fun. I think the show title "Ones to Watch" sums it up because I think these guys are going to get big. Seemed like good chemistry with the opening act - American Aquarium

Turnpike Troubadours put on an amazing show a PRC in Boston. The venue was intimate and they were constantly engaged with the crowd. One of the (these days) rare performances when the live music is actually better than the studio versions. We were in awe of their musical talent, and their stage presence and energy made for an unforgettable evening!

TT put on one hell of a show!!! The Cambridge Room was hot and steamy but the Troubadours were hotter! Can't wait to see them again! Gin and smoke and lies!!!!! American Aquarium was a great opener/ co headliner!! Intense!! Good thing there were no seats! No one would have used them anyway!

When you listen to a TT album you hear one of the most unique voices in red dirt music. All you could hear at the HofB was the loud guitars and once and while the singers. Why must the accompaniment overpower the singer(s)???

Turnpike put on one heck of a show. Several of the band members stuck around after and mingled with the crowd which was cool. They did not have to do that and it is greatly appreciated. The Birchmere is pretty cool too.

These guys deserve a bigger stage and a bigger audience but I LOVED the Backyard stage and the intimacy of the whole thing! And it was only two days after a music festival at Suwanee so I had been doing this very thing for days before. My only suggestion would be to raise the stage a bit. Many in the audience were struggling to see over the vertically gifted.

I went to the show to see the Old 97's and was blown away with the quality of both American Aquarium and the Turnpike Troubadours. I had never heard of them before and was glad to be introduced to them. I left the concert with two CD's and have been listening to them since.

I really enjoy the musical talent and the songwriting this band offers. Their studio albums are amazing. The concert at the Uptown Theater in KCMO was a bit of a disaster. The sound guy had the volume so loud that my wife and I left with concussion like symptoms about 30 minutes into the main act. It was physically uncomfortable and made it impossible to enjoy the music. They played with American Aquarium, who was decent and The Old 97s who pretty much just played loud noise and screamed into the microphone. All in all I still love this band but want to see them in another venue. I am hoping this concert was just an isolated bad experience.

Turnpike has been my favorite band for a while, but this was my first opportunity to see them live. They did not disappoint. They sound exactly like their album. Lot of energy in the crowd. Everyone knew all their songs. The band mingled in the crowd during the opening acts and we're out high fiving and thanking them as they left. Just flat out awesome.

Mercury Ballroom is my least favorite place to see a show in Louisville. From the outrageously priced drinks to the horrible layout of the club, it's clear that this club is just in it for the money. Go figure, it's owned by Live Nation. The barrier in front of the stage is so far back, it squeezes people towards the out of place soundbooth, which also takes up a large portion of right-in-the-middle prime viewing real estate. Whoever designed this space was not a music lover, but simply a bean counter.

If you haven't seen the Turnpike Troubadours, get tickets the next time they are anywhere near you. Their red dirt rootsy country music is the real deal. Between Evan Felker's lead vocals, the fiddle of Kyle Nix and the guitars/bass of RC Andrews and Ryan Engleman, these guys are knockout good. I almost don't want to say that because if they get even bigger they will start playing bigger venues. They would shine there, too, but they just burn the place down at these smaller places.

Great opening act with Jonny Burke. Turnpike once again delivered an outstanding show with a combination of new songs and their classics. Energy was very high throughout the show and closed with an outstanding performance of Long Hot Summer Day. Full crowd participation on the last song and if there was ever a double encore that could've been the time to do it.

I've seen the turnpike troubadours four times in the last year. Their energy level drops with each show and it's so dosappointing. I don't know if they're burnt out or bored with the same songs but Evan has not been engaging the crowd half as much as he used to. I'll continue to be a loyal fan but have been disappointed with your lack of energy in 2015

The show was a blast! They played great, and you could tell they work hard! I love all of their songs and they played all of their best ones, and some of their new ones! The show was during the middle of a crazy storm that caused a power outage but they picked up exactly where they left off and were fabulous! I can't wait to see them again, It was totally worth driving up from Texas! ;D

The venue was incredible, weather perfect and all the bands were awesome! The Turnpike Troubadours were incredible, every song perfect and sang with energy & joy! I drove 7 hours and would do it again to see them. They were engaging and sounded better live than on their albums. It was my first TT concert, but hopefully not the last. The Old 97 s and Shooter Jennings were awesome too! Thanks for the great evening.

The sold out crowd for Turnpike Troubadours was clearly excited to see the band in person. They don't travel here very often. Even though it was sold out, the floor was not terribly crowded. The sound system was pretty good and the beer was delicious. We're big fans and were't disappointed.

Bogarts was a great venue! We are big fans of Turnpike Troubadours and have seen them several times. This concert was our least favorite performance, primarily because Evan Felker was pretty wasted, and not entertaining at all. Kind of sad, actually. His band was awesome and on point in spite of Evan, and got them through it. We had an good time being with friends and family, but will think twice before seeing another Troubadours show. I hope Evan gets his act together. Such a great band! But they need to bring their A-Game every time. They did not at Bogarts.

Love the Turnpike Troubadors; love the songs but even for St. Patrick's Day the lead singer was a little too drunk. He missed an entire verse of one song and flubbed the words on others. Still love the music and the band tried to cover. The sound at Bogarts could stand some work too.

This was my 1st concert at The House of Blue Cleveland. It was exactly as I expected having been in one in Myrtle Beach. Great atmosphere, plenty of restrooms, bars, etc. The Turnpike Troubadours were fantastic. I love their music and have been a fan for awhile. BUT!!! Just like the opening act, The Bottle Rockets, there was wayyyyyyyyy too much bass. Since both bands sound was overwrought with bass I'm assuming The House has their own sound man. Since we sat in the balcony perhaps that's why the bass was so overpowering, I don't know. It thumped your chest so hard it was like getting hit with a basketball. And it wasn't a distinctively sharp bass, it just sort of rolled and rumbled. I'm not sure I'd go back but if I did I may try the floor instead of the balcony.

First of all i was surprised at the venue. I had heard what kind of a mess the Ballroom was. Terrible bathrooms access and over priced beers and lines. Both were exagerated though, i didnt have any problems accessing either. Opening the night were the veterans Bottle Rockets. Was excited seeing these guys. They put on a stellar set full of driving songs that kicked off the evening of fun. Then came the headliners and boy they didnt disappoint, with hits like 7&7, Devil Knows and newer hits such as Something to hold on too Turnpike delivered with energy and a commanding stage show. TT are so much more than a "country" band. They remind me of early eagles. Tje songwriting and storytelling in their songs is so welcome in the days of bro country and nothing but repeated chorus lines. I reccomend both the Troubadours and Mercury Ballroom. Looking forward to catching TT in Madison Indiana July 7tj at the Madison Regatta Roostertail Music Fedtival!

There were no disappointments here! This concert lived up to all my expectations and then some! I really thought after my last concert at Concrete St. that I was finally too old to stand up all night on concrete for any band. However, I was prepared with new comfortable footware and sprung for the "pit" tickets which got us right up to the stage. All three bands were fascinating. Charley Crockett brought some New Orleans jazz/blues to the mix with his trumpet player and accordion. Stoney LaRue was very energetic, although he had a few technical sound issues. Then Turnpike Troubadors brought the house down! They played almost every hit I've heard and one new one off their new album. I only thought about my feet a couple of times, mainly to assess the spilled beer damage on the new shoes.

Red Dirt country played with passion and real energy these men are here to entertain. Amazing show where the crowd knows the words to almost every song and was belting them out with the band. Awesome experience. Convenient location with easy parking, fun & friendly staff, with a party atmosphere. Both bands sounded fantastic. Great, great show. Will definitely be back.

Third time seeing Turnpike in Boston and as with the first two shows, they did an amazing job. Their talent is obvious and they know how to work a crowd - I only wish they came to Boston more than once every 18 months!

Volume was turned up so high, that all the instruments sounded distorted as well as the lead singer. Had i not known the words to their songs, I wouldn't have a clue what he was singing. I realize this was a rock concert, but Jeez, can't we get the volume to a decent level so as not to distort the music? This is the first concert we have attended at Choctaw and probably the last.

The Turnpike Troubadours came on an hour and a half after the concert started. The crowd, made up of 2/3s of the area young drunks were well tanked up by then and enjoying their beer more than the music. The music was okay but the crowd behavior took all enjoyment out of it.

The Troubadours were just unbelievable. Fantastic musicians. But the backup band that started and played for 45 minutes, Bonham Brothers, was not good at all. I hate to put it down because they had young children singing and it was a family group, but it just wasn't up to the caliber that you'd expect to see as a band before Troubadours.
