I love watching hockey, mainly when I'm sitting at the game! and on the glass. The game was fun, the seat is what I call the best worst seat in the house. It's behind the net. Your view of the game isn't great (quite often), but, you are right there! You can almost feel the players on the other side. You actually feel like you are a part of the game, not just watching it. The stadium employees do a great job of entertaining you while keeping you safe. If you ever get the chance,,,, sit on the glass at least once!
Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver, BC - Sun, Oct 3, 2010
for each player and for each manager.. goalie coach, coaches, trainers.... I felt the need to walk out of the game... I had not seen such a game in a long time... I am a true Canucks fan ... that was left disappointed in the events during the game.. I loved the team spirit during warm up skate.. players tossing pucks to the youngters in the crowd... I ended up with one and found the closest youngster to me and handed it over to him... That was the high light of the game of Vancouver Canucks vs Chicago Blackhawks on November 20, 2010

Although quite disorganized compared to previous season ticket appreciation events. But for true Canucks fans the chance to meet our players and get autographs is worth all the waiting and confusion. Thank you to Canucks sports and entertainment for showing appreciation to season ticket holders.

If you're not a big fan of the Canucks/Hockey, this event may have seemed a bit boring. However, as a fan it was fun to see the Canucks practice and the fan involvement. I think there should have been more free giveaways to everyone there. This is probably the only Canucks event that some people could afford to go to so I think they should have done a bit more for the people in attendance. It was fun though, and I would probably go again.

Second year I've attended this event and found it very exciting and great family entertainment. A great way to expose kids to the Canucks without having the huge ticket price. Extra special because the money goes towards the Canucks for Kids charities. It is so wonderful to see the guys bring out their children and great to see them interact with each other and the fans in a relaxed atmosphere. I live on Vancouver Island and 50% of the people on the ferry going back to Nanaimo were Canuck fans returning from the event.

We were pleased overall, but very very dissappointed about the seemingly ridiculous excuse that the Stanley Cup was lost in transit. This was quite a silly excuse as the Cup travels with at least one attendant . The main reason our family of five attended was to get a photo with the Stanley Cup , therefore this was a big dissappointment. ONe of the Hosts named Rodger an elderly man of about 60 was extremely rude to 2 of our youngest children when he impolitely asked them not to stand in the aisle, they were simply walking down to ice level. I am a lifelong fan of the Canucks so there is no bad game watching the Canucks, just losses and wins. I specifically went to this game to see Evander Kane. He had 3 great opportunities to score however Luongo held his ground each time. I think Atlanta is very fortunate to have Evander. He's going to develop into a solid first line performer in another year or two.

I LOVE going to the Canucks games (mostly for the other team, sorry!). It's a wonderful arena with great employees. It's easy to get into. Plenty of parking, hotels and eats around it. This seat was not my favorite because the pole that holds up a camera is right there at your knee. BUT! It was still on the glass and that was a tough seat to find. I'd go again in a heartbeat!!!

This was my family's first time at a sports event. I purchased the "Family Pack" deal which included 4 tickets, 4 Cineplex movie passes, and a "voucher" for 4 hotdogs and sodas for $22 at the Arena concessions. The wife and kids are avid Vancouver Canucks fans and were extremely excited to go to this. We decided to take public transportation to Rogers Arena to avoid the rush hour traffic in Vancouver and parking fees. One bus ride and two Skytrain rides and we were within walking distance of the Arena. It costs us total $8.50 each way because it was a weekend and we had two children. Not bad, considering we probably would've spent more than that in parking alone plus fuel. Besides, my kids are young 5 and 9 and actually enjoy taking the bus and Skytrain! It was a great game and went into Overtime with the Canucks winning. The seats we got were in Section 318 which were up higher but not too bad. I would have liked to have been close but it's just too expensive and the event was almost sold out when we purchased the tickets. The view was good and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Of course I am a die hard Canucks fan. Flying all the way back from SF Bay to Vancouver ( that's what I call my home city, where my heart is...). Man oh man, despite the 4-3 win for the home boys, the atmosphere at Rogers Arena is just phenomenal -- especially the pre-game production "This is what we live for" right before the team take on the ice. OMG, fantastic job the broadcasting crew! And the O-Canada national anthem, the entire Arena was rocking! Also the street booth for various marketing campaigns right outside the arena are also fabulous! Lots of free gifts and great crew. Now, it's up to the Canucks -- Let's Go Canucks! Bring the Cup back to Van City!

The tickets were $10 and the proceeds apparently go to Canucks' charities, so it was money well spent. We even found a great place to sit (keeping it secret) if we can ever afford to attend a real game. Hats off to Ticketmaster, which seldom gets positive reviews about anything, for not gouging patrons by charging a fee to a charity event, and to the Canucks for going out of their way to make people welcome.

What an unforgettable night. This was my first NHL hockey game. Turns out it was the final home game of the season and final game for the legendary Sedin brothers. The arena holds around 18,000 and every seat was full. The game went into Overtime and the Sedin twins scored the game winning goal in OT. A true storybook ending for the Sedins. We partook in the 50/50 raffle which ended up being over 1 million dollars! We weren't winners but fun nonetheless and supports good community programs. The lines for food and drinks weren't very long and had many choices. That is a great perk with 18,000 people wondering around. Everything was clean. The staff, especially ushers, were very friendly. I'm definitely going to more Canucks games in the future.

The hockey environment is great That said, I sat with my wife in the 300 level and the seats are very close so it was uncomfortable to sit shoulder to shoulder. Also, not much foot space. Made our annual trip to Vancouver to see the Penguins and once again was not disappointed. Our seats were excellent, the food was great and, as always, the local fans were social and very friendly to an outside opponent fan! Rogers Arena has easy access, convenient parking and many food choices near the venue. We were really happy with the availability of parking and ease of arrival and departure because there was a football game, hockey game and Cirque de soleil show all located next to each other that started all at 7pm that evening. Right from the beginning during my wait in line I encountered so many nice people. The security staff was very friendly and efficient. The venue was easy to get into and to my section. The restrooms were very clean. The food service staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The seating staff were friendly. All the fans, both Vancouver and Philadelphia, were nice and friendly. Of course there was some friendly chiding since I'm a Flyers fan and was wearing their jersey. Rogers Arena was fantastic. The seating was very comfortable. There was plenty of leg room for sitting, but It was a little tight if you have to walk in front of someone sitting. The video scoreboard is top quality. The sound perfect. Great music. Of course the game was the best part! Well played and exciting. The intermission activities were fun. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Seats were not cheap but it was a great game. Canuck fans lover their team, many were dressed in team jerseys...which looked great. Our seats were in the upper section but view was great. We could see all the action. A well played, defensive match. The Canucks goalkeeper had a great game. Vancouver led 1-0 after scoring on a long slap shot late in the first period. Then there was a crazy ending. Calgary scored the tying goal off of a deflection with 6 seconds left, right after Vancouver had killed off another Calgary powerplay. Overtime started (only 4 v 4 on the ice) and the Canucks scored about 30 seconds in for an exciting 2-1 shoot out win.

Rogers Arena is great for viewing hockey. The game, unfortunately, was sub-par, but that happens. But the horribly loud sound system, with constant, REALLY bad "music" was totally annoying. Maybe because the game was so dull, they thought we'd like an amateur rap concert instead? Also, TV timeouts detract from live games. Can we dispense with them, please?

What a great game that was end to end and full of action. All that was missing was a good bust up fight.

I like the fact I was given unexpected passes for free movies and snacks that was a bonus.

This is the only time I have gone to a pro hockey game in person. What a fantastic thrill to see it in person. The difference in our local team and the pros is astounding. The whole experience was a once in a lifetime experience. This is also because the tickets are excessively expensive. I could never afford to go on a regular basis. But I am super glad I went this one time.

What a GREAT time! I took my parents to their first NHL game, and we all had a great time. Although the team we were rooting for (the Blackhawks) lost - and played horribly - it was still a fun event. Arena staff was friendly, fans were welcoming despite the fact that we were rooting for the visitors - all in all, a good time. Can't wait for the next game between these rivals in March!

Was in the northwest US and wanted to catch a hockey game. Got these tickets and the seats, venue and atmosphere in the arena was amazing. My gf who has never been to a NHL game was cheering and yelling and had a great time. It was definitely an experience to remember.

A fun time was had by all. The trip from Williams Lake to P.G. was well worth it to see the Canucks at practice. Would gladly do it again to see the up and coming new stars on the ice. Thanks to the fellows that signed autographs for all the kids that worship our local(B.C.) pro hockey team. Thank you very much.

Very first hockey. I chose to go to Vancouver. Wonderful arena. If your not from the area it could be hard to find. It was an outstanding game experience. I had some issue with getting my ticket on my phone. The event and security staff were wonderful in helping me.

Awesome game! First Canucks game and was not disappointed. Perhaps I would have been if they had lost though. Staff at the stadium were all very polite and helpful, especially the greeter at section 103! would be nice if the beer was a couple bucks cheaper, decent selection though. All in all, a very good night.

Purchased ticket to fill in time. I love hockey I came to Vancouver to see Nickleback and see the city and surrounding areas to get a feel for the city, get information about moving here. I grew up on hockey with many connections in the business. I'm from Detroit. Grandfather skated, father skated, brother played, and my son played, and was even scouted by Oregon high schools coaches at young age. The ticket prices are reasonable. It's a beautiful arena. The game was fun and exciting. I felt safe, and out of harms way. I wanted them to beat the Boston Bruins, a few years ago. Glad they beat Toronto.

I'm a big hockey fan, but unfortunately there are no NHL teams close to me. I've always been partial to the Vancouver Canucks so when I decided it was time to see a game in person essentially I went to Vancouver. The game was amazing, the fan were incredible... overall an unforgettable experience!

This was probably the worst hockey game I have ever been to in 3 years. Was a boring game with a slow pace tempo. For value of ticket was not worth it.

The game itself was awesome. I just wasn't happy about the seating. When I chose my ticket, I chose it thinking it was an aisle seat, because that's what it looked like on the map you guys have on your website. It wasn't an aisle seat. I was stuck between an old man and a father and his son. So, update your map or something, I don't want something like that to happen again. Thanks
