Friends and I agree that this was one of the top concerts --EVER! Liv represents what a performance and an artist should do when they get on the stage--entertain and amaze the audience with their talent. The NPG Horns and Mr. Crutchfield were also amazingly talented, too. It was a great evening of talent on display.

"Liv Warfield's" concert was "Simply Amazing, An Unforgettable Experience". "Liv Warfield's"..."Unexpected" cd is as close as it get's to her live performance. If you don't have it, you need to get it. You might need two. I'm going to buy another one just to keep in my car. I hope she makes a video of her live tour and packages it for distributiion so her fans can get it. The concert was all that plus more! This was my first time seeing "Liv Warfield" in a live concert. I first saw her on "Jimmy Fallen and Arsenol Hall" show ... she bIew me away...I most say... her live performance...Is out of this world...simply amazing, an unforgettable experience!!! Not to mention "Prince's "NPG HORNZ's" section and "Liv's Warfield's" band... "Incredible" truly the best musician on the planet. Pure live talent is what I heard all night. I was in a state of ecstasy when "Liv Warfield's' two young female background vocalist sung a duet together ...their voices blended so well together... I was sitting there watching and listening to these bird songs sing... thinking to my self "so this is what heaven sounds like "wow! These ladies brought it! They came out and made a statement and it was well recieved by everyone through claps, cheers and standing ovations all night long. From where I was seated I could look down on the floor. Crowds of people where standing with their eyes fixed on the "Liv Warfield" unexpected experience...for some who knew what to expect was happy to experience the "wow factor" again, and for others who had never seen her live in action ...they were like me "living the "Liv Warfield" unexpected experince, loving it and oh so happy to be in her company for the first time! I can't stop talking to my friends about "Liv Warfield's" two beautiful and extremely talented female background singers, their voices so perfect. They sounded like they just fell "straight from heaven". "Liv Warfield" had a cd signing after the "concert" she recieved her "fans" everyone was so excited. Their was plenty of hugs, and hand shaking going on. For me meeting her and talking with her was so uplifting. I even took a picture with her just another added highlight for my evening on the town. "Liv Warfield" is so charming her personality so warm and inviting. She showed so much love and gratitude to her fans. I was standing in line to get my cd signed, I could hear laughs and conversation coming from down the hallway and when I got close to the entry way of the Howard Theatre lobby I saw it for myself... laughs, hugs and kisses and picture snapping. Right then and there I said, to myself ... "Liv Warfield has taken the world by storm... look-out world..Liv Warfield has arrived". Thanks to "Prince"... "Liv Warfield"... is our new up and rising "Super Star" . When I had my chance to stand next to "Liv Warfield" and talk to her ...all I could say was... "Liv, Liv, Liv, I'm so glad Prince discovered you"... wow, what a powerhouse you are! I can't wait for the next "Liv Warfield Experience". LivWarfieldFan4life, Princediva.

Simply put, this combination of musicianship and showmanship made this concert one of the best entertainment experiences of my life. Warfield's voice is hypnotic and her energy infectious. Add to that the immense talent of her band, her background vocalists and the NPG Hornz, and their awe-inspiring choreography, you get a show you find yourself hoping never ends. Like Prince, I will definitely make every effort to see her again whenever possible!!

I purchased 2 tickets for my lady and myself as a Christmas gift. She did not know about Liv but I did and had been a fan for a while now. Liv literally sang 3 of her own songs and sang backup for 2 other young ladies that also performed for the rest of the show. The problem with that is I purchased Liv Warfield tickets not Liv & friends tickets. The show was only an hr and a half and Liv performed exclusively for only maybe 25 mintues of that. I PROMISE YOU THAT IS NO EXAGGERATION. I literally felt like I was sold a bait and switch, and for that I will never support her in that capacity again. Just wanted to share an artist that I really like with someone that I really love and felt ripped off. Lastly, I purchased what was described as gold rope VIP tickets and was seated in the back corner of the venue. I paid extra for that service only for the event to turn out to be just general admission. Overall a nightmare of a night. Never again!

Show: Liv Warfield/Juith Hill and Shelby J put on an amazing show. They were on fire. Wildly impressed with all three of them. Prince would be so pround on them. The show was a mix of r&b, soul and rock. The sound was great. Marva King and Darmaris was there too as special guests. People were dancing and having fun. Nice balance of high energy tunes and soulful ballads. Each lady had their time to shine and had great chemistry. Venue: Come early if you want good seats. At least an hour before the doors open, especially for the popular and well known acts. I got to the venue at 5pm and was given a ticket to wait in restaurant. I thought I got good seats, considering I had general seating and not vip. The food is pricey so pick wisely. I would suggest ordering appertizers and sides. I would also suggest to look at the menu before going, to get an idea of what you are going to order so you have an idea what your total is going to be before going there. I had nachos and Mac & Cheese. The mac was very good. I did not like the chicken and bbq sauce on nacos but sour cream and gac was good, it's not something I would order again. I ordered water for a drink and waitress refill the water without me asking her too.

Amazing show. I would travel to see them perform again. Shelby, Liv and Judith are amazing and so is their musical band! Marva King, also of Prince's NPG, did a surprise vocal in one song and I'd love to see her on the tour too!

Liv Warfield delivered a strong, smoking set with a special assist from the incredibly funky NPG Hornz. She showed off her rock and funk chops with several thumping uptempo songs. The NPG Hornz added monster horn riffs to these funk numbers. Liv also showed off her vocal chops on several slower R&B songs where she got to "sang". The show was a great live introduction to an obvious talent and a strong backing band.

This concert was really great. Warfield played with the 10 piece horn section, NPG Hornz. Frankly, I wish that more people had attnded and bought tickets. THe show was energetic and had fresh material. It's great to see great singing and great musicians. LiV met with the audience after performance and took pictures. Her accessibility was refreshing. I had not been to a concert in a couple of years. This was a good initiation.

An 11 piece horn section, a band, and two phenomenal background singers. A lesser artist would drown behind all of the instrumentation, not Ms. Warfield. She commanded the stage from the beginning of her set, to the end. Warfield's set, along with the horn section, should be required viewing for anyone who seeks to understand what real music is. GROWN folks music. Soul music. Rock music. Funk music. Jazz music. It's all there. Go. get. a. ticket. And if ya didn't know, now ya know.

Saw Prince first, show was amazing. So, when I saw Liv Warfield was doing her own show and she had the NPG horns, I knew it was going to be a great night. 10 horns, 2 background singers, rhythm section and Liv's ultra strong voice proved me right. NPG horns also had choreographed routines and dance steps. Each horn got a solo, background singers got solos, guitarist was a Prince disciple with blazing solos and Liv hit every note and then some. If you love live music, horn sections that will blow you away and amazing vocals - this is the show. This is the way to start off the spring.

I went to the Hollywood Palladium on Friday and the show was not billed as a Prince show it was billed as a LiV Warfield show. I can't believe the other review went to a LiV Warfield show saying they were only there to see Prince and then to give a negative review. LiV played a 90 minute set and Prince performed as a surprise. So to the idiot saying that they were disappoint that Prince did a surprise performance A. read the marquee it was a LiV Warfield show and 2. You got Prince as a bonus.

When I arrived at the palladium about 8:30, we were not allowed into the hall, be they were still doing a soundcheck. When Liv took the stage, she had energy and sounded great. She played a little over an hour and was pleasant enough. But I, as everyone else was there for Prince. Prince took the stage around 12:00 and put on a short but funky set which lasted about an hour. After one encore he was gone. I've been spoiled by Prince playing longer shows, so I was a little disappointed. The show on Saturday night was truly a better performance.
