When a band loses a member (or more) of the originals, no band can be EXACTLY the same as the original band when they start anew with new additions. Common sense. Besides the fact that Scotty Austin did a fantastic job with the material, he is a VERY talented singer, guitartist and an excellent showman. High energy all the way - as well as the band as a whole. The best props go to the hospitality of the band - again, as a whole. When there was a mix up with our VIP tickets and I contacted the promoter via email, it was within minutes that Scott Bartlett contacted me himself, arranged a meet and greet at their hotel prior to the show. The whole band showed up, ALL were very apologetic for the mix up. At the show, prior, during and afterward, the band mingled on the floor with the patrons, down-to-earth, completely humbled with thanks to ALL of their fans. They are dedicated to our troops and supportive to them and their fans above and beyond. Also, addition Steven Pulley on drums, awesome! Excellent, kudos to the whole band. When they come up with their first "new" album, no doubt in my mind it will trump the old and wave in a new - rockin'!!! - Saving Abel. Thanks guys... YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Saving Abel is a great band to see live! They sound the same in person as they do on CD and they engage the crowd throughout. Perfect mix of new material with the old & a couple classic covers added in. The Vinyl is fun room to see a show...Nice addition to the Hard Rock! With a maximum occupancy of 850, you're closer than ever to the action. Nice bar sevice as well.

My son and three friends attended the concert.. they loved it. (Age 15) The music was great. The building was beautiful. They said the bathrooms were a little dirty.. the floor was super sticky. The said that the band RED needed to fix the sound system. All they could hear was the guitarist.. couldn't hear the singer. They said Saving Abel was fantastic. They said Pop Evil was a new favorit. Bad moment for a mother to hear... There were a two old ladies that kept rubbing up on the boys... Like in thier 20's! Perverts... I didn't like that hearing that!

Saving Abel is amazing. That's all there is to it. We were on the floor which was awesome because we were so close and could see pretty good except for the times when Id get stuck behind tall people which was quite often. They really did great though. I drove five hours with my boyfriend to see them and it was so worth it! The opening bands weren't that bad either even though I had no idea who either of them were. All in all both me and my man had a blast!!

The event was pretty good. Emphatic and Hurt were amazing!!! Saving Abel is not one of my favorite bands and they really didn't do it for me this time so we left before they were even half way throught their set.

Started off great with the show of Emphatic...which was an amazing show (they're crazy!!!)...then moved to HURT whose show was somewhat uncaptivating (last few songs were great)...Then on to SAVING ABEL!!! they were so AWESOME!!! Showed great emotion and dedication for music....The lead singer even came down into the crowd!!

Thanks to Jared Johnson & Pepper Entertainment for bringing one of my top 3 FAVORITE bands to Sioux Falls. The lead singer ignites the band and Saving Abel . . ROCKS! Appreciate their military support. Nutty's North is a smaller venue than last year's KROO Fest; but what an honor to have these AMAZING, talented performers return to our hometown of Sioux Falls.

First time I have gone to see Saving Abel live. Only thing I can figure is that they must have some sort of sound engineer wizard at work when they record in the studio. Live, they are a disappointment.

Any Saving Abel fan that missed this really missed something special. I don't know why there was no one there, but the entire amphitheater peaked at about 60 people and 20 of those were gone before Saving Abel came to the stage. So, everyone in the venue had front row seats and the opportunity to be up close and personal with the band. Anyone that wanted autographs got them. The band gave us a great show even though we could have put the whole event in my back yard.

Not until after arriving at the show did I discover that lead singer Jared Weeks was replaced two weeks ago by Scott Austin from Trash the Brand. Oh and the drummer's gone too. So I did not see Saving Abel. Wild Bill's is a great venue and I look forward to going back.

I have to say I was VERY disappointed in the show! The sound quality was not very good (I've been to shows at Wild Bills before, and had no issues), and frankly, I don't know what has happened to Saving Abel, but the new singer was a bit obnoxious, and apparently pretty high while on stage. He kept saying "We're a party band"....No, you're not! This is an entertainment venue, not a party! Overall, I would definitely go to another show at Wild Bills, but definitely not to see Saving Abel!

This was a show for the lady. Payback for all the heavy metal shows I drag her to. I can't say I was too miserable though; the opening acts weren't bad and Saving Abel live sounds more the part of generic rock band then crap wuss rock their radio play would indicate. Overall: not bad...

This show was Excellent! I was very pleased with everything. For the price of the tickets it was definitely worth it! The opener band Sugar Red Drive was good, and they performed well even though no one knew much of their music. Taddy Porter was a great follow up. They had good music to make up for a small lack in their stage performance. American Bang was fantastic. The lead singer knew how to entertain the audience in between each song. Hell, he even got half the crowd to buy him beer. Then of course, Saving Abel was the event of the night! Most of the crowd was there for them, so as the night went on, more and more spectators crowded the stage with their cameras and cell phones ready to snap shots of the group. Lead singer, Jared Weeks, representatively spoke of their passion, commitment, and love for our great U. S. of A. I was excited to see them play a decent amount of their new album(Miss America), as well as a selection from the first album(Saving Abel) including the crowd favorite, "Addicted". Over all, it was a rocked out performance that pleased the entire audience. I hope Saving Abel as well as Sugar Red Drive, Taddy Porter, and American Bang will all make efforts to stop back again in the future! Thanks for a Great Show Everyone!

Went to the Wonder Ballroom to see Saving Abel last night. They were absolutely awesome! In my opinion, they couldn't have been better. I wish there would have been more people there for the band. My wife and I saw tickets to this show on ticket master and just had to go. The price was amazing, especially for the show that we saw. They were with We Are The Fallen, American Bang, and Taddy Porter. We were able to be in the second row from the stage and had amazing views of all of the bands. My wife cought a couple of guitar picks and so did I. Taddy Porter was good. American Bang absolutely rocked! We Are The Fallen is a bonafied rock band with a hot lead singer, and some bad guitar player. We tried to see Saving Abel at the Gorge in Washington last summer with Nickelback, Hinder, and Papa Roach but they were already on stage by the time we got into the venue. I was really disapointed because we couldn't hear them at all. We stayed after the show last night and hung out with Eric the bassist. My wife got her picture taken with all of the members and got all of their autographs. Those guys are very cool! She also got her picture with the lead singer of We Are The Fallen. She is a cool chick. I would definately recomend this show to anyone who wants to rock.

The venu was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the fact that RED did not perform! They could have substituted a different band, had the other bands play more songs or given us a little money back! My girlfriend's sole reason for purchasing the tickets was to see RED so she was deeply disappointed. Luckily we had great seats. They were comfortable and roomy. The view was great too. This might have been because the venu was only at about 10% of capacity!

Went to see the christian band RED with my teenagers. Drove over an hour. Was not told at the door that RED had cancelled. We had to find out by the band on stage that RED was not going to be there. Was going to stay anyway but when the band on stage started with foul language and urged patrons to go visit the bar to get wasted that was enough for me, House of Blue's staff was great though,

The entire Saving Abel Band was great!...Jared Weeks reminded me a little of Chad Kroeger (Nickleback) and Brian Johnson (AC/DC) with his style.
