Walked out of the show. It is not a big, fancy, well-done production. If you have seen all the amazing shows in Vegas and want something very average, then go for it. The venue was like a barn (a tent to be exact). The stage was small, the actors were average, and it was not worth $75. I am very disappointed that our hotel recommended this show. If you like shows like Love, Elvis, Celine, Jersey Boys, you will NOT care for this show at all. We walked about about half way thru.

The tent is amazing except the mirrored poles can get in the way of viewing. Because the venue is small you see the acts up close and sweaty. These people work so hard and are just wonderful. This is a lot of raunchy fun and not for the faint of ear. My only complaint is the chairs were horribly uncomfortable.

Overall, a fun show. Good audience participation and the acts were good. The dialogue was very racy but the acts themselves were fairly tame. Not a bad thing but was just expecting more risque acts given the marketing as an x-rated take-off on cirque. Bottom line though is that it was a very fun show and I would recommend it to someone who is not easily offended by raunchy dialogue.

Absinthe was a lot of fun! Very funny and the acts were Amazing!! We were disappointed that the show was very late getting started. There is also no where to go to get out of the cold while we were waiting. It would have been nice to have had some patio heaters outside as well as some food vendors with the bar!

This show was so much fun! The seating is a bit cramped, so I would recommend 1st row or table seats. But the show is so good we forgot all about the close seating. The performances were great! Different than what you may see at normal Cirque type shows. The host was so funny. I was laughing so much that I was crying. There is some crude humor and swearing so if you get offended easy don't see this show. They do warn you of this before the show starts.

I had heard & saw some great reviews of this show, but also heard you must go in with a quirky attitude & open mind...yes! I suggest you do the same ! Entertainment was great, hosts were funny & all acts were full of surprises...The only thing, are the seating. It's quite tight! My husband is a big guy & our friend is tall, too; but we found the right seats to make it really comfortable! We truly recommend this show!

This is not for the faint of heart or easily offended, but if you do only one thing in Las Vegas this should be it. It is hillarious, sensual, and awe inspiring. There is not a bad seat in the house but I recommend the first row. It was positively the best time I have had in a long time. My son was even pulled up on stage and became part of the act (you have been warned).

The show was an amazing display of acrobatics. I was honestly surprised how talented the performers were. There were romantic aerial dances, sexy male and female gymnasts, a rollerskating performance that had us on the edge of our seats, a contortionist, and tightrope walkers. I was amazed and have never seen anything like it in my life. There was some hilarious raunchy humor. But some of the humor was flat out racist or homophobic. I'm not a sensitive person. It was unoriginal and nothing other than trite stereotypes and bullying, especially considering it was being delivered by white, heteronormative actors. I am torn between giving it an even lower rating because of that. Great show but stick to the dirty jokes and creative insult comedy - raise your comedic bar.

This show is a riot. Numerous individual acts along with some comedy routines. The "Gazillionaire" is hilarious. Side splitting. Great variety mix of acrobatics, death defying stunts and humorous routines. I was in the front row and the acts had changed from the last time. Two acts with water definitely get you wet. To the 1st 3 rows.They do provide plastic sheets to cover with. If curse words are not your thing, then skip this one. Or if you're a prude. Overall just a fun entertaining adult show. loved it all 3 times I saw it!

It was an intimate wonderful and enchanting night! This show represents Vegas! A lot naughty and a lot raunchy sprinkled heavily with some amazing acrobatics, burlesque, and comedy! Small stage that you are up close and personal with. Watching humans be amazing from that close up is truly spectacular!! I had no idea what to expect going into this show, but it turned out to be one of my favorites in all of my trips to Vegas. The acts were amazing and awe inspiring. The hosts of the show were hilarious. By far one of the most fun shows in Vegas! I will say that the seating was not comfortable at all, but it kept with the ambiance of the overall feel of the show and the quality of the performances made up 100 fold for the lack of comfort.

The tent atmosphere made the show very unique and seating intimate. We sat at a small round table (#4) for 2 so we had a bit more room and had a place to put our complimentary VIP champagne. They also allowed drinks to be brought in, which was great too! The show's hosts were entertaining with scripted and ab-lib moments. One of the only shows that I have been to that the audience becomes part of the show as well as the entertainers interact so closely with. The cast is incredibly talented from tap dancing to acrobatics. I was amazed at the level of talent. Our seats we're between both stages so we were part of the action. Would absolutely go again. Glad my cell phone took photos as no flash photography allowed for obvious reasons.

This is a definite must-see show while in Las Vegas. We were debating whether to go to a Cirque du Soleil show or something else and someone mentioned this and at first we weren't sure. But boy are we glad that we went. We loved the entire show from the first minute all the way to the last minute. There isn't a bad seat in the house, even though the folding chairs aren't very comfortable. We switched to the last row, which I believe is row L, and those seats are more comfortable and you still have a great view. It is a small arena so you always have a pretty good view. There is definitely some crude language and a little bit of nudity, so if you don't like that stuff this show probably isn't for you. But from the acrobatic performances to the Gazillionaire character, it's a kick ass show.

I had missed the opportunity to see Absinthe in NYC a few years ago, but after that, I have gone to see to two other of SpiegelWorld's shows and was fully entertained and pleased. An amazing treat! Please note that this is an Adult venue. If you are easily offended by bawdy humor, naughty burlesque, and sensual acts, please skip it. However I found the show to be a welcome relief to the usual blasé acts that have grown stale! Absinthe was an amazing show! The acts themselves were incredible, the audience was oohing and ahhing the whole time. The MCs were hilarious (assuming you don't mind raunchy, vulgar, slightly racist and racey rumor.) The comedy aspect of this show was awesome in and of itself. The theater is nicely sized and puts you right up next to the action. The ONLY downside was the chairs are these old-style chairs that are lashed together with zip-ties. The padding was lacking or nonexistent. I'd have paid a few dollars to rent a chair pad.

Never judge a book by its cover couldn't be any more true than it was with Absinthe! They definitely don't waste money trying to convince you that what your about to see is going to be a "grand" experience ... It was THE MOST entertaining show I've seen in Vegas or anywhere else for that matter. The interaction between us and the performers made the experience that much more thrilling. Seriously, I've seen lots and lots of shows over the years...And this one was the first one I wish wouldn't have ended... And I couldn't wait to call someone just as soon as I could to tell them how incredible the show and all of the performers are! I would definitely see this one again! Word to the wise though... It is a very tiny tent like structure with a mix match of uncomfortable folding chairs lined up as your seats. We paid extra for VIP seats/table and had to keep turning around to look at the stage behind us. The acts were OK, about what you would see at a local circus. The "ring master" was funny at times and his side kick would go on and on about sexual acts that were funny but they were a very small part of the show. All in all the show was not worth what we paid. Go see a real cirque du soleil show for a few more bucks instead, it is so much better. If you really want to see this, get the cheapest seats!!

If crudeness and profanity offend you, do not attend this show! If you attend and are easily embarassed, do not sit in the first 3 rows or at the tables.... You will be singled out... That aside, this show is amazing.... All of the acts are outstanding, showing incredible feats that you'll remember for a lifetime. We also saw Zumanity a few nights later and it was boring in comparison. All of the seats in the Spiegel Tent are great, but be warned that anything behind the third row is a wooden immoveable chair that is attached to the chair beside it... My husband and I had a two-seater table, but my sister-in-law struggled with her end seat on the third row. I wish I knew what Melody Sweets was saying... Her voice was beautiful but the lyrics were unrecognizeable.... Not a show for the kiddies....

Absinthe is a mixture of circus exhibition, burlesque, and comedy that cannot be compared to anything else out there. Sometimes it's unbearably offensive, and there's one point towards the end where three people get pulled onto stage for an uncomfortable situation. But it's all completely awesome. Please don't be the older couple that looks miserably uncomfortable in the third row - there's always one. Be open-minded, relaxed, and just enjoy it!

The performers were amazing, especially close up. The MC and his assistant were hilarious. Not for the faint hearted. I'm pretty raunchy and there were points where I thought, ok, that's really pushing it for me. Overall, one of my favorite shows.

The Emcee was over the top crude and offensive. Though he intended it that way, it was beyond necessary or funny. It detracted from the high quality of the performers (not Wanda, though) who demonstrated great strength, skill, daring and precision. These parts were excellent, if you could get past the toxic emcee's banter.

Honestly this show was many things, outrageous, hilarious, shocking, amazing and embarrassing. Even though the age restriction is 18 it's not something I'd want to see with my kids, or my parents for that matter. It's very risqué but my husband and I enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is small and intimate, not much room but really quirky, old timey circus tent style. Very creative and well thought out. Over the top in-fact but well done and the acts are quite astonishing!

This was our 4th time seeing Absinthe in 3 years and we loved it. The stage is only about 12 feet wide and you sit around it. There are only about 10 rows, so this is a very intimate experience. The show alternates between acrobatics just a few feet from you, and vulgar insult comedy. All amazing. You leave breathless. You have to see this.

We were absolutely in love with the stunts of the cast and crew. The MCs nailed their jokes on the fly and were the kind of people I d like to hang out with at a bar. The venue was unique and super easy to locate and get into without a hassle. Would only change it to have a bathroom located closer to the show, as my friend missed a decent portion of the show when nature called. We both agreed it s a show we could see time and again in our ventures to Las Vegas!

This was my third time seeing absinth and it was not as good as previous shows. It felt like this time it was with the back up team. There were not as many acrobatic acts and the producer and assistant were not the same and not was good as the prior shows. The acts that were there were good but not as impressive as before. It is understandable that there needs to be a rotation but it was noticeable the drop in the producer and the assistant.

This show lives up to its billing. Hosted by the Gazillionaire (lecherous ringmaster) and Wanda (retarded and perverse assistant), Absinthe is a serious of sexually themed physical stunts by a range of performers. The humor is un-PC but harmless unless you are a blue-haired progressive scold (those exist now). Every group gets a few broadly targeted arrows. The acts vary from stylized acrobatics to humorous stunts and slapstick. My only complaint is that the 90 minutes flies by too fast and the show could use an encore act to stretch it out--but, in fairness, 90 minutes is a reasonable length. The venue is medium-sized so there is an added intimacy to the setting. From reviews over the years (and the structure of the show) it is apparent that the acts change over time as new performers join or drop out, so I expect this to be worth revisiting in five years. Sit in the VIP areas if you want some memorable interactions. Having been to Vegas three times and seen many shows, this one stands out as having a unique character and staging while maintaining the quality you expect from a top-rated show.
