I had awarded my top 5 music student teachers with this concert. They are from Jersey City and work as tutors and music teachers at New City Kids, a non-profit. The teens were amazed and awestruck at seeing gifted young people and the celebrities that took the stage! They loved seeing and being inspired by legends playing the very instruments they are learning and teaching to young kids in our After School Program. They had wished they saw elementary kids playing instruments, since they teach music to that particular age group, but overall it was an awesome show. They would have also loved to meet some of those legends and young alum from Jazz House Kids.

Andrea s vocal range is phenomenal. The venue was ideal to see and hear great jazz performances. Young performers played at a level that far exceeded their age. What an evening, seeing jazz legendaries, and listening to great music . Could not ask for a better way to start the week off without leaving town.
